Hello There Clammers!
Halloween Phase 2 hit our devices about a week ago…and with the phase 2 roll out came the introduction of two new characters to craft in the Cauldron, Slutty Cat Meg & Mr. Weed. Both of these characters have questlines of their own, independent of the main (Search for Busts) questline. The questlines for Meg & Mr. Weed can be done at your leisure, as long as you complete them before Halloween is over, while the main questline must be completed prior to moving onto phase 3.
In addition to the character questlines, phase 2 also rolled out a new side questline involving Bruce & the need for more decorations!
So now let’s take a look at all the side questlines phase 2 has to offer…and what trouble we can get into now in our Tiny Quahogs!
Let’s get things started with Slutty Cat Meg…since that’s who most of us will try to knock out first…
Love in All the Wrong Places Pt. 1
Lois starts
Have Meg Shave her Facial Stubble- 4hrs, Earns $50, 30xp
Brew Slutty Cat Meg Outfit- Collect Vials and Jars to Craft Slutty Cat Meg in the Cauldron. Here’s what’s required:
3,000 Spirit vials
20 Banshee Tears
15 Latcher Talons
25 Terror Dog Bones
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
Love in All the Wrong Places Pt. 2
Meg starts
Have Meg Punch Dance- 4hrs, 15 Spirit Vials and 3 FP
Go to Halloween Dance at James Woods High- 6hrs, Earns 20 Spirit Vials and 4 FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP

Meg starts
Have Meg Play Spin the Bottle- 12hrs, Earns 35 Spirit Vials and 7FP
Have Connie Bask in Popularity- 4hrs, Earns $50, 30xp

Have Meg Show Off the Goods at James Woods High- 16hrs, Earns 40 Spirit Vials and 8FP

Have Mr. Weed Visit Guillermo- 1hr, Earns 5 Spirit Vials and 1 FP

Have Mr. Weed Analyze Sales Data- 10hrs, Earns 30 Spirit Vials and 6FP

And with that…you’ve completed Mr. Weed’s questline.
Now let’s take a look at a new questline that was just added to our games this week…as a few new decorations were rolled out into our games.

Plant Big Scrub- 10 Spirit Vials

Oh Nooo! That’s Scary! Pt. 3
Bruce starts
Plant Spiders’ Sanctuary Tree- 35 Spirit Vials
Plant Arachnids’ Arboretum- 35 Spirit Vials
Plant Gnarly Tree- 35 Spirit Vials
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
And that completes the short little Oh Noooo! Questline!
As far as the Fiscal Fright questline, I know some of you are asking how many levels there are to it. As of right now (before Phase 3) there are 10. Each level you complete for Fiscal Fright earns you clams. The amount of clams is based on that level. So if you hit level 2 you’ll get a 2 clam reward. If you hit level 5 a 5 clams reward…and so on.
So that about covers all of the side quests for Halloween Phase 2!

I completed Love in all the wrong places pt. 1 but didn’t get the pt. 2 yet. Is there some other trigger to start pt. 2 than completing pt. 1?

Hmm…Part 1 is where you craft Meg so Part 2 should trigger soon after. Do you have a ton of tasks in your task bar right now? Could be too many tasks causing the delay…

I finally saved up enough spirit vials for mr weed but when I go to brew him the brew button still says “Not Enough”!! What do I do?

Even tho tinyco brought down the amount or truck or treaters needed and it looks like there’s a lot more of them ? Still think it’s going to be impossible.. Which sucks for something with so much involvement.. The drop rates for stink bombs is too low and the amount of time it takes to get them makes it seem even harder..

Really sad that I’m totally screwed on getting the ecto car… Because it is literally impossible for me to get 200 in the next 2 days… There not like the minion stewie where you can touch them and make them stop, which is the only way I got all the prizes for the amounts of mi onion bombed.. And even tho I have ALL charectors working on getting bombs… I’ve got 3/200 in the past 24 hours… Just not gonna be possible! Time extensions possibility??

Still think thy need to either super amp up the amount of spirit vials we get (low in comparison to the blast we got in comic con) or drop the number of vials needed for Mr. Weed. Also drop rate for stink bomb is pathetic. Was so much easier to get missiles in comic con. Should be able to get stink bombs guaranteed from task and from clicking other things. Gonna be hard to get 200 in three days to get Zuuls temple and thus Ecto-1

How are people unlocking Mr Weed. I play a lot! But I’m really short on spirit vials. What am I doing wrong?

Don’t focus on other gamers. Some spend money to speed through or win/buy items to help. It is all in how YOU play. 😉

I wish they didn’t bring trick or treaters (minions) back, this was the worst thing about comic con. It is just tedious! Other than that was enjoying the event so far. Good job keeping us all up to date.

See….I LOVED the minions. Each aspect of the game caters to different players. So something you like, another may hate. Vice Versa. 😉

I unlocked Slutty Cat Meg, but now she has a check mark next to her in the cauldron, but has a lock over her as well. I’m at portal level 4, got the reward and FP for unlocking the outfit, but I can’t use it/she didn’t start any quests with it.

Love this event Idk if anyone is on fright level 8 yet but Chris talks to Brian about making a book that has something to do with elm street 🙂 so I’m hoping to c freddy with the next level do u think it will b hitting today or til the morning like last time

I did the first two parts of Bruce’s questline. I’m going to leave the rest for the last few days and not burn vials on things that aren’t necessary yet.

It’d be great if there were another way to get Banshee Tears other than Quagmire and Predator. I’m a freemium and I am not willing to shell out clams for a character with limited use after the event is over. And it seems like it’ll take most of the event to get enough vials to get enough for Mr. Weed. Not to mention the coming characters/costumes. Suggestions?

I noticed that on the fright levels page, it also tells you that you upgrade things like capacity for certain creatures in your town at once. I didn’t notice this before I hit level 4, so it says for level 5 that your town holds more trick or treaters (I’m guessing by the picture that that’s what’s coming out tonight). Has anyone else noticed this for other levels?

I have to give Accolades to TinyCo; the amount of clams we can potentially win during this event is awesome and truly appreciated! From collecting the 3 new characters, to unlocking the costumes and Ghostbusters, to leveling up… it’s a very decent and smart move by TinyCo. It will be easier for us to rationalize spending more clams when we consider what we’re getting as we progress. Just a tip of my hat to the TC crew.

I haven’t had any questline from Bruce yet. In fact, I didn’t even know about it until now! Anyone else run into this? I do have the decorations and have added a few.

For me, it seemed to trigger when I went to fright level 4…

It seemed random for me too, but I was at FP 7 or 8 if I recall, and it caught me up to there from where it had finished off the first time (FP 5 wasn’t it?).
It now shows MAX as I levelled up to FP 10 (I have the lab), so I think they weren’t expecting people to level up as fast as they did.
Maybe Spencer isn’t at FP 5 yet?
