My worst Halloween fail was when i got my friends to agree on being the ghostbusters but we didnt have proton packs so we used our vacuum cleaners instead. But my one black friend wanted to be a ghost(lol) so when we went out we turned on our vacuums and suck up his costume every house we went to XD he wouldnt talk to us for 3 days lol

Not to be negative but i thought cleveland was suppose to be a big help so far nothing ive had him but i feel bad for people who bought him thinking he would have been used by now. I say this knowing that he is in the next portal but could have been used him to gather things for the other goastbuster costumes

So when you tap on the lil Skeleton icon, you do not see any more numbers adding to it? Nothing beyond 5479? What if any troubleshooting have you tried? Have you reported the issue yet?

Alien does have a “stalk predator” task…I haven’t played much with them just yet. But once I do we’ll get a Should I Buy up 🙂

Like or comment if you agree that Zuul’s portal should be animated. It’s huge but without the cool animation, it just doesn’t have that pizzaz. Also, is it me or are all my terror dogs gone after unlocking cat Meg and doing her action.

I want to thank both of you for all the work you do on this site. I got grumpy about this bombing quest, but I got my alien (who is too cool) and with those bombs I managed to finally get my portal. Is anyone else seeing issues with the bombs registering? I had three more drop from my peoples but the counter didn’t register them. They did tally when I zoom to launch them.
For the American Dad event I really hope they add Avery (Stan’s boss). It would be TOO awesome having him and Sir Patrick Stewart wandering around. Bonus points if they add a task for them to complete together.

There is a delay in the sync. Usually a force close and/or device restart syncs it back up. The true amount seems to show when you tap on it vs just in the main screen.

Completely agree, and if we get him we should also get Freddy Kruger, there’s still a few weeks left so who knows what’s coming. I could just see both added with Alien and Predator grouped together into a ‘Horror Movie Icons’ group.

Really disappointed in the stink bomb event. I have 2 hours and 16 minutes left and I need to bomb just 9 more kids. There were times that I either didn’t get stink bombs or I would send a character to make them and when I’d come back they were just walking around.
It also would have been nice if the ghosts would have dropped stink bombs like the nerds dropped bombs during Comic-Con.

Same…first time I haven’t even bothered trying to complete a task (that didn’t rely on spending money outright ala buying characters with clams). Soon as the task came up I tried boming a few kids, saw how it’s been made more difficult since the Comic Con/bomb stewie event and said “Nope”. Not sure if it’s the repetitive grinding nature or I’m just tired of doing the same stuff over and over or what.

Same here wouldn’t drop stink bombs and I had 8 hours left to find 25 hits, wasn’t doable when 4 of those hours where while I was a sleep. They expect too much from you, people have lives.

I’d really like to comment again how there’s a total lack of space to put everything in the FG game. I literally started a list of everything I’ve had to swap out in my inventory in the hopes that one day they will grant a LOT more land (and I mean a LOT). My town continues to look like crap, there’s no aesthetic quality to it whatsoever, it’s just jammed with buildings, and I can’t even enjoy some of the animations because they’re behind buildings. None of the layout makes any sense, it just looks crammed with stuff. It’s supposed to be ‘The Quest for Stuff’ right? not ‘The Quest to fill your Inventory with Stuff.’

Agreed. Totally. I haven’t spent much money on this game but i was thinking if I were a completionist and bought everything they released, there would be nowhere to fit it all. Unless it was all buildings with no roads or anything. Frustrating.

I agree 1,000,000%! A “Quest for stuff” needs to definitely be able to display our stuff. Otherwise, what’s the point in collecting and earning any of it if we just end up stowing it in an inventory hoping to put it out when we get more land but then — oops! Sorry. This new land will be filled up with MORE new buildings and decorations for a character that could use current (or stored) buildings for the item drops they’d need to unlock him/her.
It is ridiculous. And I’ve fought it for so long and finally had to resort to just storing so many great buildings because I refuse to give up the look of my layout. So I pick and choose now which buildings fit where in place of current buildings and have to decide if I’d be ok with the swap.
I love the disobedience school and the skate parks but they, along with a huge list as well, are stored right now. And I have such little space for the next 2 weeks of Halloween stuff to come! I’ve got buildings floating halfway in the water so I have room for trees and back to back buildings.
I feel your pain.
Unfortunately TinyCo thinks it’ll crash our games if we have everything out. And they have to allow people with at least a minimum OS to play. So based on what they feel as a minimum, everything must work using that system.
(Although my iPad mini crashes everytime and I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it and done all the troubleshooting and after 30 seconds to a minute into playing it just closes on its own. Everytime. So I can’t play it on the iPad mini and it’s is a new one from this June.)
Oh well I gotten used to the iPhone screen and doing the “which building is my least favourite of the ones I have out to replace this new thing I just got. And then the next 5 new things….”

I could also go on and on about how we’re trying to unlock all these unique trophies and ‘stuff’, yet have no place to put anything and are recommended to keep stuff in our inventory for performance reasons. Defeats the entire purpose of completing tasks if we can’t even use what we win.

Unlocked Francis earlier, love his Show His True Colours animation, it made me laugh. I also beat this weeks challenge, as I thought that doing the Bomb 5 Trick-or-,Treaters quest would trigger the challenge I held off to stockpile Bombs, when I hit 60 I started the challenge, it then only took me around 5-6 hours to beat the challenge and win the cool portal. So along with that, and winning all the Demonic Mystery Box prizes, and getting the Alien, I love his animation where he flosses and brushes his teeth, this phase has been a lot of fun.

How many bombs did it take? I have 30. Think I’d feel better with 40-50, did you use all 60?

No it only took about 40, I just made sure I was hitting between 3-4 of the Trick-or-Treaters with each bomb, I did hit more at times, but having 60 Bombs took away the pressure as even if I hit 2 each time I was garenteed to beat the challenge. I hope this helps, and good luck with it, I’m sure you’ll beat it.

Hoping with the addition of the alien we will see Sigourney Weaver. I mean how can you not have her pulling double duty as Dana and Ripley. Anyone else think the last two Ghostbuster items have to be Stay Puft and Slimer?

My worst Halloween costume fail was when I decided to go as a “Ninja Pizza Delivery Man” during the TMNT craze. I had a ninja mask and weapons and pizza boxes that I wore on my front and back. The problem was he had a nasty rain storm hit on Trick or Treat night. My costume fell apart within 30 minutes. I ended up walking around in my poncho and arguing with the neighbors about giving me candy (because I was not in a costume).

One year I went as she-ra and broke my plastic glow in the dark sword in the first half hour. That was the best part of the costume haha.

Six and one. Wooo, finally a decent start for the Cowboys. Oh yea. Sorry. This is for Family Guy Addicts. I am crazy about Ghostbusters and was over the moon about this event. Love Halloween too. So why haven’t I been going crazy like I have with the previous events? I honestly don’t know. Maybe I’m just a little burnt out. No matter the reason I still play daily and check this site every day. The cool thing about it is that’s ok. It is just a game and this is just a site dedicated to it. Nobody will get hurt if I don’t jump in full throttle. Maybe I’ll get sucked in and devote way too much time to it again in the future maybe I won’t. Whatever the case, the game and the dedicated staff running this site have brought me a lot of joy. Why am I even bringing it up? Because I want others to know that it is ok not to take it more serious than they do. Even when I’m not giving it 100%, I still enjoy myself immensely. The same with reading all the awesome articles and comments here. Fun. That’s what a game should be. This one is very fun and so is the blog. I can’t thank Bunny and Alissa enough for all the chuckles, and sometimes right out rib cracking laughter, they have gifted me. I know sometimes negativity sneaks in but there are always those of us who are touched, even if only for a few minutes a day, by the work done here. Thanks to everyone who contributes to making this a fun place to be by comments or any other means. These lovely ladies deserve all our respect and I hope they and you keep doing what you do for a long time to come.

I nioticed Doctor Who has been mentioned quite a bit here so I need to know. Does anyone else think the newest incarnation is a little odd? He may get better the more I watch but I miss David Tennant and Matt Smith.

He’s definitely old & curmudgeonly in that William Hartnell sort of way. Not as easy to like as Matt Smith or David Tennant (or my favorite Doctor of all — Peter Davidson with that ludicrous piece of celery on his coat). And his utter disdain for pudding heads really makes me think of the first doctor’s initial encounter with the school teachers. I think Capaldi will grow on me as the season progresses though.

Not really no.
Its a welcome change having a Doctor that isn’t prancing around like a hyperactive man – child.
Don’t get me wrong – I think Tennant was superb. Smith , not so much.
The show was better under RTD .
Capaldi however lends a bit of gravitas to the role, he’s a tad more sinister and not so likeabl . Much like the first incarnation of the doctor. It mixes things up a bit.

Francis does have a questline. The Blimp plot will continue…patience. As we have repeatedly stated…it will come in phases. The next phase is not quite here yet. Why must everything always be so negative?

Seriously considering deleting my game I’m so upset about the ecto car 😦 it was really cool that tinyco made it a smaller amount of trick or treaters but 150 was still wayyyyy too much. They didn’t even give us a pre run to collect like 50 or something to get a strategy together, I just think it’s not fair…

Sorry bud I can’t. Cheating is cheating and could cause MASSIVE issues with your game…issues TinyCo cannot (and will not) support. Especially since a lot of times the ones with these types of games are the ones having problems, sending in support tickets and bogging down the support queue for those who play clean games. I know you mean well..I just can’t let it through…

So the new portal didnt start off good for me , i didnt remember it was thursday n sent everyone on who wasnt in use one 24hour task , then i triggered the challenge and was days behind .. I wasnt mad cuz its just a decoration n the second the event ends its going straight in my inventory
So i was jus bombing to get the books for joe n candy corns to brew the stuff for francis
Well just now i looked over to see i bombed 145 out of 150 with 4 bombs in hand n 4 minutes to spare 😃. The clutch plays were real !
Now i don’t plan to even convert the portal next week until u provide the walkthrough

Thank you guys so much for this website! I love having a place I can talk to others about this game, (And TSTO over on it’s page, you guy seriously rock harder than anything else someone can say anything rocks.) as I’m pretty sure my coworkers and my wife are tired of hearing me talk about how much awesome these events have been.
Now then, I just need the DeLorean from BTTF. And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And KITT (both new and old). And Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds. And if you guys give me a few minutes I could probably get a pretty decent size list of what else I’d love to have in the game.

Sooo I just had to tell someone who cares, my family DGAF about my quest for stuff. I received Zuuls portal with literally SECONDS to spare!!! My heart was racing!!! To date I have never missed a challenge!!! Thank u tinyco for lowering goal to 150!!!

I know that half way through maybe should not be saying this but realy looking foreward and hoping some cracking stuff arrives for Christmas, or should that be the holidays 😉 in the UK it is Christmas, the holidays are in the summer. Loved the Christmas event in Simpsons Tapoed Out, in my eyes the best update they have had, so Tiny have a big wall to better it. So lets see and hope. Finaly I bet I am the first on here to wish everyone a HAPPY CHRISTMAS, or HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🙂 🙂

I’d really like to see “wicked glitch” Lois. Been wondering if she’s going to get a costume (don’t see 1 anywhere). Thought the comic-con skins would earn S.V. since they are costumes…all in all been happy with their Halloween event. Lots to do. & the way Tinyco seems to listen to the people having problems…& are willing to make changes is really great!!

I got Slimer pushing Ghostbuster Joe around in his wheelchair all crazy like right now. I wish they let him do more in the event since he came out later, like zap Banshees or earn traps instead of just getting dog bones like Peter and Meg.

I just went to va beach comic con yesterday(my very one!)! Lots of fun and neato costumes! Bought some it’s for doctor who Saturday and one for walking dead Sunday! No family guy t’s for family guy 😦 . My favorite costume was a few Halloween’s ago as Quail Man! I do like all will Ferrell’s work my favorite has got to be The Other Guys! Watch walking dead and family guy tonight or you’ll get cooties! Oh yea… yappa yap yap yap yappa!

I just watched american dad hot water episode and they should totally add the murderous hot tub to the game during the ametican dad event. Maybe the way we get ghostbuster logo, ghostbuster lockers, zulu’s portal or may be even as a grand prize like ecto-1.
By the way the rocket in that episode looks exactly the same as the one we have in our games and the one that chris drove in the episode space cadett.

I need HELP!!! I was bombing the last trick or treaters i needed for the zhulu portal, when suddenly my game crashed and when i opened it back up my counter went back to 0!! There are only 10 hours left on my thing, and i should have gotten it to begin with, what should i do!

They need to add dialogue to Alien. Peter’s daughter season 6 episode 7. Him and his little mouth talk like Bruce. I still crack up when I hear little mouth say “zoop.” I already sent in a suggestion, but it would be great if a few other people did as well.
