So we are getting reports of ALL sorts of things going on in the game. Everything from items reappearing to Consuela not letting us in the game.
So first off, the crashing. We are well aware of Consuela hijacking our games. It may be due to EVERYONE is just now waking up and realizing the update DID hit over night. So right now it is a mad rush of traffic to the servers. Hang in there. Give it a lil time. Allow the flow to slow down a bit.
Now for the fun “New” Decorations.
Kool Aid Man is back? But the Boombox says it is for Pink Brian?
The Blimp Tower is back….again…even though you already got it.
Little Elves for sale. (Still waiting for someone to show us images of this.)
And I hear that Slimer’s butt is in there (still waiting for pics of proof).

played this game for so long enjoyed it so much even spent over 100 quid in game but today ive had it so many crashes so many resets even deleted so many apps but now had enough that my phone restarted 3 times and still dosent work fml

Should I be buying stuff with Gingerbread Men?? I wasn’t sure if I’d get credit for having them if I bought the Quahog Mall for example? It sucks I need Sexy Santa Lois to clear the Mall Santa’s because by the time I get the outfit I’ll be far behind.

Can you suggest to TinyCo that it would be a great Christmas gift if they would actually let those of us who got the boom box AND started the quest to have more than 24 hours to get KoolAid man? I started in October so never could get him before.

I got the boom box too! Then crashed, then no more boom box. I think it would be great if TinyCo could keep the game more consistent, but I’d be ecstatic if they’d grant me my Christmas wish and let me buy Nathan Fillion (the only reason I started playing).
My game is still VERY glitchy and I just lost a BUNCH of cookies during one of those crashes (~8 or 9 so far).
I’ve got some pics of my glitches in my inventory. Where can I upload?
Btw… I’m so inundated with special events Lois and Peter have a huge backlog of tasks I can’t catch up on. Now there’s Bonnie, the only person who can wrap gifts (for 12 freaking hours?), with a growing backlog. I dig the event concept, but can I catch my breath in between them?

After waking up this morning and checking my game, the quest for Klaus started again and I got 4 days again. That are glitches I like , like the Kool aid man quest that never stopped for me 😀

You know, this seems a lot like a developer was trying some random things out and accidentally hit ‘publish’… well, whatever happened, this is hilarious, I tried to place the blimp tower as my original tower (but not the blimp) had disappeared, and the whole of Quahog turned black then looked exactly like my home screen D:

So now Jerome is dropping Glass Kool Aid jars instead of gold tree stars, which SUCKS cuz he is like one of 3 characters who can get any of the Christmas stuff. And since Kool Aid is an impossible task, im just hoarding glass jars for the Apocalypse. Just emailed Tiny to see what can be done.

none of those glitches for me (aside from the occasionally Consuela) but (no pics, sorry) last night Pink Brian said he’d earn gifts or gingerbread men. So I sent him on an overnight mission. I didn’t notice if he earned them or not (I was clearing everything at once) but I know Pink Brian’s earning options are gone 😦

24 hour timer for Kool-aid Man and he spawns every 7 hours? Plus one of the tasks to get his pitchers is 20 hours and they want you to get 20 of those? That timer seems like a glitch.

I got none of the above, but my game is terribly slow since this event started. It even freezes for severeal seconds when collecting a task for example. Is anyone else experiencing that?

I hate the slow starts on these events. I always feel like I am getting so far behind on tasks because of the slow drops at first. I know that it cranks up, but I wish they had least a few characters that collect holiday cheer early on. Instead, I am sending everyone not collecting stuff on 1 hr tasks (if that is an option. If not, then as low time task as possible), for fear of needing one and having them locked down.

What’s wrong with the Costs of the Griffin Christmass skin?
It say 100 clams,i got 146 clams the the game says i need 84 more?
Then it costs 230 for the skin.

I must say that the readers of this site are way more polite than the people on FB. You should see the way people treat TinyCo., demanding free clams, saying how they f’d up and so forth.
I have a lot of respect for the people here. It seems politeness, as well as common sense, is in abundance here.

I only joined in October, so didn’t do the Kool Aid event. Saw the free item and added it, and when the Endless Kool Aid Summer started I knew I was bugged. Still, let’s see how far I can get, as it would be cool to unlock KoolAid Man before they fix the glitch :p

Every time I tried to place the free Da Boom Box & then click on the repair hammer above it the game just crashed back to my home screen. Upon re-entering, I no longer had the Boom Box….
I purchased 2 of each of the animated Chrismas Elf & Christmas Reindeers (for 1 coin each) and they’ve now disappeared totally from my game….
Now none of the ‘Blimp Tower’, ‘Da Boom Box’, ‘Christmas Elf’ & ‘Christmas Reindeer’ are showing up in the store.
Oh and of course the continual Consuela appearing….
Glitches galore are in-store (pun intended)

Yeah, got the Boombox and Blimp Tower. Can’t place the Blimp Tower anywhere and placing Da Boom Box crashes the game and forces you out. Not seen much else.
Shame it wasn’t a premium building or two becoming freemium haha >.<

I dont see BlimpTower but it let me place Da Boom Box and start collecting for KoolAid. And now Peter has a task to get Glass Jugs for him. But I don’t know if it will last so, I don’t know if I should try to get KoolAid from it.

Have seen Slimers butt in place of the little elves deco on wife’s IPad. So wrap your head around that one. Haha! If she gets it’s again I will have her screen cap. Guess I will go ahead and update. I am Still rockin the fall look ATM, though maybe I should wait until these glitches get settled. Consuella is still jacking my game but only when I mess with reappearing items from old events.

Saw Slimer’s butt for two things to buy for 1 coin. Also bought Da Boom Box and the Kool Aid Man has been roaming around my game. 24 hours to unlock him (I didn’t have the game when he first came out)…so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to unlock him now?

Perhaps they can upgrade their servers with all the cash from the pricey decorations. Seriously, this is the only game I play that has this issue every time an update is released. However, the post title had me in stitches. Thanks for the laugh.

Haha, still bad? I haven’t played the Simpsons game in ages, but it had lots of glitches on updates when I did. Though one time one of those glitches allowed me to get a few hundred free donuts, which I considered compensation for being locked out of the game for DAYS.
