Happy Friday (ok, ok so it’s Thursday…) Clammers!
Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.
And since there have been an influx of late Thursday night event updates…it’s been a little while since we’ve given you guys a proper What the Hell?! post. So we decided this week we’ll post it BEFORE an update is supposed to hit…to give you guys a chance to vent.

-Getting REALLY annoyed that you’re still unlocking Sexy Santa Lois?
-Annoyed that it’s taking forever to unlock Jasper?
-Someone cut you off on your commute this morning?

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-The nearly 3am EST release time of the Christmas Event. What the hell TinyCo?! Do you not want us to sleep?!
-Secret Santa Gifts. First they don’t show up like they’re supposed to. Then they stock pile up. What the hell?! Why can’t it just work right?
-Now that it’s winter time here….what is up with drivers (from this area) not knowing how to drive when it’s snowing outside. Seriously people…WHAT THE HELL?!! It’s not that difficult!

WTH is up with the plutonium blimp?? I get that they’ve had a lot of events and mini quests for the holidays but there has been nothing about plutonium since Vinny appeared months ago Id like at least a small update on when/what is happening about the blimp… I Feel like it could be a way to have quite an interesting series of events (possibly similar to plants vs zombies 2 storyline (releasing Knights and so forth depending on the era) or even as a way to re-release some of the special characters that some may have been unable to unlock in time

WTH! I’m trying to unlock Stewie for over a month! The plutonium simply just doesn’t drop. And nowadays I can’t use louis, since she’s clearing santas. Really, the plutonium drop rate is worse than the eye ball, which was supposed to be epic, whilst the plutonium is “extra rare”. That doesn’t make any sense!

Stewie drove me INSANE! He was by far the longest character to unlock for me. I’m right there with ya, took me about a month. It was torture, but you’re almost there!

i reckon the wampa for Star wars will be coming out that big ole hole or maybe jesus since Jesus rises again #invinicibleJesus. I do hope we don’t have to bomb little buggers again (probably will though), i also hope the upcoming christmas costumes aren’t gonna be too difficult (e.g 10 extra rares or 3 epic), anyway goodbye and thanks for all your great work @familyguyaddicts.

What the hell is up with family guy bein the best game EVER for the phone haha..but na what the hell is up wth the tree upgrades being so long? I git 3-4 hrs left but why do i have to wait a week to do it?

What the hell!?!? I have 94 candy cane stockings from snowmen. I hope they are going to be used for something other than gift boxes. Maybe a snowman could drop a doll stocking 10% of the time…

I have 112 candy cane socks and 2 doll socks. The differance is ridiculous! I like your idea of 10% doll drop and maybe 5% for the new sock I assume is comming when the upgrade takes place.

I am super frustrated because I have been unable to play the game since the last update. I have been unable to connect to facebook to get my game progress back due to connection errors. I have tired EVERYTHING! I feel cheated I have spent a good bit of money in the game and am now missing out on all of the new characters (for example Jasper). I just want to know how long this is going be like this and what is going to be done to compensate all of the folks who have not been able to play during this Christmas event. This is my favorite game and would hate to have to quit and again with all of the money I have put into the game there is NO WAY that I am starting over. PLEASE HELP!!

I feel your pain, last Halloween event I was locked out due to a Facebook problem as we’ll. Not sure if the same thing will happen for you, but for my game when I was back in Quahog it was as if the event had been on hold. I didn’t miss anything. I just had to wait it out. Which defintly rotted,But in the end I still got everything from the event. I hope you do too.

WTH?!! tinyco is delaying today’s update! that just means we’re gonna be even more rushed to get things finished because we’ll have that much less time & twice as much stuff to do! & here i was was totally loving this event & now we get this this crap! totally annoying & a pain in the ass!

look, i’m not trying to be rude here,but i’m really starting to think u & bunny don’t like & or have it in for me for some reason. i think this because just about every time i post/say/ask something on here, to some degree or another, u & or her seem to either have a negative reaction to it, think i’m being impatient & or unreasonable or i’m being rude. now i might be wrong about u & her not liking & having it in for me, but it just seems that way sometimes.

It is honestly all about mindset…see this lil blurb from our guidelines page…

Also, it is a known fact that the emotional state of a persons mind will impact the way they perceive something. This means if you are angry, you may take every comment you read to be angry as well even though it is not intended as such. Same goes if you are happy. Anger will happen. It is a natural occurrence when you have a group of strangers coming together to have discussions, how you react though will be up to you. So take a step back, take a breather, and try again if you are taking something too personal. Think if that person really meant it that way or it it was just a mistake of perception due to the state of mind. Think before you react to a comment. If you are not sure or wish to discuss the matter privately, feel free to email us.
You may ASSUME we are negative when in reality we are not. Sometimes an emotion is very difficult to show in words. I looked over our responses to you and don’t see negative or harsh ones. Some may be straight forward, but that is just the info being relayed.
A matter like this, when people are having real life issues that prevent them from being able to do their daily work…as we run into many times…we can see from their side that players do need to be patient and understand there is a reality outside the game and to be realistic in asking for the impossible. A lot of what is in our guidelines rings true for situations just like this.
Be kind, be patient, be understanding of others. Speak your mind but don’t be surprised when others speak theirs in return as well. See a bigger picture than just a silly lil game as so much more goes one behind the scenes that make it. From our blog to their offices. We are all real people with real life and real problems that will impact our work now and then. 😉

WTH was with the price of the gingerbread house….?(not to bothered about the price of the other 1’s) I really wish I hadn’t brought it now…! Thinking back to the other events I was left with loads of vials last time because I brought all the premium buildings. It’s my own fault…. I panic right from the start of ever new event. Next event I’m gonna wait a few days and see how I’m doing b4 wasting 13:99p on 1 BUILDING.

AWWW, nothing messes up your Friday quite like finding out that it’s actually Thursday 😦 Downside Up? If it WAS Friday I would have missed a whole day of excitement here in the Clamdom! Looking forward to updates. I actually have today off and I have my taskers set to minimal tasks. Noticed that I am experiencing a LOT of disconnect, so I am thinking that this is related to Tree Update.

WTH heart doctor I might not be able to play Family Guy the Quest for stuff tomorrow because I’m having heart surgery early in the morning. But I guess on a good note that means when I’m recovering I can play Family Guy the quest for stuff. Thanks for having this website really appreciate all the info and help you guys give.

My WTH is about those shrinking buildings. Everybody saw them. I can only imagine all the folks who need more land getting all excited. I’m sorry.
Last Wednesday, I got 4 teeth pulled. Within minutes of me coming out of sedation, Dh answers his phone and says the kid is suspended for saying, “Get your ass outa my face.” I bust out laughing so loud that I’m sure the administrator must’ve heard me. I fully intended to meet this walking ass of a student, but I slept until we got home. Then I had 3 days of non-stop TQFS gameplay and I’m like, “I’m SO behind…huh huh, behind.” I need 2 more dolls to start unlocking Jasper, so I think I’m right on schedule for this event.

I’m really frustrated and annoyed by the fact that needing only 3 more jewels for Connie which are supposed to be rare,in 8 times (meaning 4 characters doing tasks for jewels twice) I only got 1!!I mean come on!!even epic items I needed in the past were more often than that!I just put all of them again plus Peter which makes them 5.I seriously hope I get these last 2 jewels…

If you cannot make Holiday Gift Boxes anymore that means you have everything you can get from it. There weren’t that many items in the first box.

To expand upon and reiterate my first comment: I didn’t think i’ve gotten everthing from that box yet. Perhaps somehow I obtained them in other ways, or through other rewards, but I definitely didn’t get the last reward shown on this site: 150 cookies. It locked out when I created my first striped box.

So it seems like there are some new cookie and holiday cheer earning tasks in the game at some point in the last few days, more times for some characters (like Peter who now has a 4 hour task) and a task for previously event-task-less characters like Joe. Have you noticed this (or did I just miss some before?) and if the former will you post about it?

I don’t really like to complain much but what the hell…
The only way to earn red stockings (without buying clams) is only from Lois clearing mall santas every two hours so it takes10 hours to get enough to make one striped gift box and then you have to wait another hour on top of that to open it ! And then to get some lame prize that doesn’t even matter? WTH! And then to have to do it all over again in hopes of getting something else. Wth ! so we’re suposed to be glued to our devices all day long to check in every two hours?WTH!
I’m glad I have the kind of job which allows me to do that, which is NO JOB . And drivers here in Colorado don’t know how to drive in the snow either! Wth! You’d think they would have more practice.
Oh yea, and the same old music in the game over and over and over and over and over, I wish they would change it up a little, like the xmas tune from ‘road to the North Pole ‘

Taking bets now that the abominable snowman or something similar will come out of the cave on the left side of the Christmas area that is open right now and he’ll have to be vanquished by dropping hot chocolate bombs/mistletoe missiles/etc. complete with bonus multiplier. Also the procrastinators will probably have to be taken out similarly to the trick or treaters and mini-stewies from the Comic-Con event.

Sick of Glitch fest 2014 I know own a second mysterious space shuttle from comic con the first never came out of my inventory so now I have 2x incredible shrinking buildings. being pushed out of game and owning building facades that’s changes names to whatever it wants but What the HELL am still addicted

My only complaint about this event so far is that Santa Lois is needed for EVERYTHING. As soon as I got her, all her quests were put on hold so I could take out as many Mall Santas as I could, not only for the timed event, but so I could wrap the gifts needed for Jasper.
It’s like they heard our complaints about making Peter the center of quests in the last few events, but didn’t really understand what our problem was. Guys, if you’re reading this, we didn’t hate Peter being the main guy, we just wanted the tasks for each event to be started/used by other characters and not require Peter so much! Any problems there was with Peter having too much stuff to do has been transplanted to Lois..
Why couldn’t Lois be focused on Mall Santa removal (she’s the only one who can, until we unlock Jasper WHICH REQUIRES MALL SANTA REMOVAL, sheesh!), and another early unlocked character, maybe Peter, Quagmire, or Bruce be focused on the Pageant, At least they give Bonnie the 12 hour gift for friend task. If they had given that to Lois too that would have been really disheartening.
But this is really a minor WTH. I’m having a great time with the event, even if things are on hold until I unlock Jasper. New land is great, new decorations are fun, dialogue makes me laugh, building skins are a very nice new addition… keep up the good work TinyCo!

I didn’t really see it as a problem. The Santa clearing is a 2 hour task so and that leaves six or seven whole nights when Lois is free to do other things – surely it better she has something to do the whole night (or just four hours) rather than leave her twiddling her thumbs (or her something elses) after a wasteful only two hours?

It’s been half a year now since the release and they still haven’t added a way to add friends other than Crapbook. Still, they’re starting to add more social features to events, leaving out those who are intentionally not wanting to become users of that site.
