Note: You will have FIVE days to unlock her.
In similar fashion to Jasper you’ll have to “repair” the Train Station (yes again…Jasper must have wrecked it with all his cheering) to find Babs. Repairing the station takes 4hrs and costs 200 cookies. You cannot repair the station until you’ve trigger the Five Golden Rings questline. (This triggers around Prophets vs Profits Part 4)
Do not repair the Train Station until you’re ready…you will only have 5 Days to unlock Babs. So be sure you’re ready before you do it!

Basically…it’s Comic-Con and Halloween all over again. Break out those mazes because it’s time to bomb some animated characters again!
You’d think TinyCo would get the hint…when this was the LEAST favorite part of Halloween. ANYWAY…
To Bomb the Procrastinators you have to collect Furballs. You then use the furballs to “bomb” as many Procrastinators in 1 shot as you can.
There are two kinds of Procrastinators. Naughty ones and Nice ones. Each one drops different rewards….
Naughty- Drops Cookies, HC & Occasionally Clams
Nice- Drops Wrapping Paper Stockings and Christmas Cookies.
Again…you’ll need Furbals to bomb the Procrastinators. You can earn them through various characters:
Jingle Joe- Rage Shop, 4hrs
Quagmire- Donate Toys, 4hrs
Chris- Shop for Toys, 4hrs
Jasper- Do a Cheer, 4hrs
Cleveland- Browse Figurines, 4hrs
And because I know you’ll all ask…
What’s the Spawn Rate for Last Minute Shoppers?
Per Tinyco…The Amount of Last Minute Shoppers in your town will vary depending on your level. Generally, these shoppers will spawn every 2-6hrs for a max of 10-15 in your town at 1 time.

Week 3 Challenge
This Challenge is Trigger by Peter AFTER Part 3 of the main questline is triggered. So if you don’t want to start this task…DO NOT tap Peter after you trigger Part 3 of Profits vs. Prophets.
For this week’s challenge…you’ll have to bomb 100 Procrastinators in 4 days.
And for this week’s prize you’ll receive Mutant Elves.
Again…we suggest the maze method for successfully completing this. More specific details are coming but check out these posts from events past about mazes:
UPDATE BUNNY: As you can see in the image above, the prize for the Challenge was not the correct image. It glitched and showed the Elves Display instead. The actual Challenge prize is what it showed in the Pop Up for the Challenge…the Mutant/Demented Elf. Just the one. And it runs around on the streets of your town as soon as you tap on it to get it out of storage. It is small, like size of Stewie.

I love this game and try to not complain unless there is a problem but I have several ideas for improvements to appease the players. First they should extend the Christmas event to make up for all of the delays. They should limit the procrastinators to the streets as they are impossible to corral thus far. And they should improve the drop rate on the wrapping paper. I accidentally triggered this last timed event and have no hope of completing it. 😡

Ok I was really upset about the shoppers last night but I’ve chilled out. Read through today’s comments and learned about the maze strategy. Spent all morning destroying my town to set one up but it totally worked. I only had 12 shoppers when started now have gotten 47. I’m halfway there with 3 days to go. You all are lifesavers!

Not happy about the procrastinators, but to be honest I’m finding the snowmen to be a total waste of time. If they aren’t going to use the doll stockings, it would be nice to get rid of the snowmen (or spawn less).

I still need the cookies from the snowmen. I can use all the cookies I can get. But I do wish they’d just stop them from being able to spawn the green stockings (candy canes I think?). Every time I get one of those instead of a cookie it’s very frustrating, given that I already have a huge stockpile of those and nothing currently requires many of them. Even just making those more rare and cookies more common would be an improvement. I doubt at this stage of the event that anyone except maybe someone who just started playing is in need of the green stockings.

Towards the end of events in the past they have introduced a way to exchange or cash in unused or surplus ingredients. If they do that again then green stocking are still way more valuable than cookies.

Here we go again!! Thousands of people have complained on social media sites that TinyCo. monitors that they dislike how one character is needed for so many things at once as other characters do nothing for weeks on end. Every time TC responds with “what are your suggestions, how can we make it better” and people give legitimate feedback.
Here we are in week three and now Peter is needed for a quesline, and to drop two separate items for Joe. On top of that once you get Jingle Joe he can be used to get Furbals or to defeat the Yeti.
Now the bombing aspect of an event is back that has been loudly criticized and verbally thrashed.
If they’re not going to change things they should stop blowing smoke up people’s bums in an effort to silence their concerns.

Peter is always going to be vital because he is a main character and he is available to everyone, But TinyCo did listen. How many people can get cookies/furballs? Off the top of my head:
Jason, freddy, Meg, Chris, Lois, Mort, Bruce Willis, Herbert, Mr Weed, Brian, Peter, Jasper, Stan, (babs+joe likely too), Jerome, Cleveland, Bonnie, Quagmire, consuela, predator. Thats just of the top of my head and is 21/49 characters, thats not bad and quite a bit more than normal imo.
I hate the bombers too but tinyco listened to WHY people dislike it and changed that. There are now way more people to kill, bombs are by far easier to obtain and I’m pretty sure they said somewhere they where bringing back the tap/stun. So the 3 major problems have being fixed. I guess they see it as a fun thing in events and are trying to change it around instead of give up on it.
Also Klaus is a great example of them listening. They realised they made a mistake when loads started complaining and the TinyCo member I spoke to said he would ask about the timer and guess what? They extended the time limit.
No the wont change everything like if we all started asking for 100clams a day, but imo TinyCo do their best to fix the things we complain about that are fixable.

So I was reading Reddit’s subsection on the game, and Matt from TinyCo wrote that with the new update (1.5.5, hasn’t hit android yet, at least for me) the tap and stun method will work for the procrastinators. That’ll definitely help with the challenege when people get the update.

I’d like to thank TinyCo for not replying to my support request emails, and not repairing the holiday gift box glitch. I have been very disappointed in this event. I spent a fair bit of money on the Halloween event, but only for characters I like. They didn’t contribute in any way to me being able to stay on track. This event however, I lost the ability to get Jasper (no he didn’t time out, I didn’t click the train station) and had to keep Lois on neverending mall santa duty to get dolls, which has put me way behind with the yeti. I refuse to spend money on this event.

its fun and all…but why is every single event the exact same? do this in 4 days…shoot something to get its life down….bomb something to gather stuff…getting kinda old.

Though I agree, the yeti is new. Normally you have to collect items to kill him and the item you need is randomly selected, now you attack him personally.
There is really only show much you can do as a bad guy in a game where all you can do is tap and put people on quests.
The snowmen type bad guy will likely always be in it.
The boss battles too probably, just different ways to attack him.
Also the building minions will probably be back too, on the in game christmas guide reindeers are mentioned as a perk, so I’m assuming they will be rooftop minions.

Interesting fact not sure if people caught. Buy the items from the golden gift box with cookies before wasting 50 class, if you don’t you may get things you could have bought with cookies.

I’m a bit confused – my rollyhamster disappeared. I still have the checkbox in the Santa list but it’s not where it used to be, nd I can’t find it anywhere in my town or in my inventory. Is this a glitch?

If you change into move mode, it goes back to its old size – easer to spot! As soon as you change back to normal play mode it shrinks again.

These events are getting repetitive and I’m seriously unimpressed with the whole bombing minigame….. And I feel like I’ve fallen waaayyy behind on this event and suddenly jesus and puppy brian seem out of reach, especially because I’ve only defeated the yeti twice and don’t even have any snowflake stockings. I realize having Jingle joe will help but you know he’s going to be needed in the main questline.
I like that they’re getting limited edition characters involved (stan, mr weed, cleveland), but I wish they would use side characters (tricia, connie, seamus, mayor west, vinny, etc.) for main quests so we could use the main characters to work solely toward achieving the top goals.
Anyway, I hope that tinyco will actually listen to the feedback you give from us after this event ends. I think a lot of players would be happy if their quahogs weren’t overrun by nonplayer characters (santas, procrastinators, snowmen… will it ever end??) and they didn’t have to bomb them

This event was quite relaxing, now I’m worried haha.
1) 15000+5000+1000+buildings+decos+Fancy Gift box = a LOT of cookies :S though if like normal you’ll make it eventually, I’m still worried because I want all the characters and want to buy quite a few decos to make a christmas area.
2) always hate these bombing things, though if the bombs always drop I think it should be rather simple, if they barely drop, I have no chance haha. Do they spawn on the maze or from the tree? (The snowmen seem to do both)

Nice shoppers also drop cookies. I’ve only received one wrapping paper stocking in 10 nice shoppers hit. What’s with TinyCo and the stupid drop rates? Puppy Brian will be impossible if they don’t fix the drop rates. This bombing thing does stink… you were right about them not learning their lesson. I’m checking out of this game again until they fix it. See you in Springfield. 🙂

Just taking away all but one road does not seem to work for these guys. My shoppers are walking all around my town. Everyone else (snowmen, santas, pirates) is congregated at the road, but the shoppers don’t even seem to care. Has anyone gotten a maze to work? How to you build one (and with what)?
I started my timer without meaning to. I thought there’d be at least one random task before a timer started, like before. Evidently not. 😛 Chris is busy on a task for another 4 or so hours and I don’t have Cleveland, so only Jasper is making furballs right now. This is going to be difficult…

I absolutely hate these dam quests where you have to demolish your town and set up a spawn point to bomb. I know you can’t make a game to please everyone but I put a lot time in organizing my town to my liking. Also on a side note I have no land to put this new stuff they just released

The newest event step is once again bombing random-path mobs. (Every monthly event has so far been the exact same sequence of events).
The bombing of the minion stewies was fun because you could clump them together to bomb a group of them. But starting with the trick-or-treaters they have ignored tapping, so the only way to clump them together is to completely destroy our city that we spent so long designing, and re-design it with the sole purpose of getting the mobs to gather together (which makes for an awful looking city). I know they added a nuke button to make it easier to do this on a regular basis.
If they are going to continue to do this same event again and again I wish they would add a way to save different city layouts and a way to transfer between them.

Spent a good hour tearing my town apart and putting in a maze only to have the shoppers escape as you had no choice but to follow the 15 quests dialog first and now they are everywhere. I really LOATHE this aspect of every event.

I haven’t yet started the yeti challenge. I’ve been holding off on finishing part 2 of the quest line until I am ready. Does anyone know if I will still be able to start the challenge after upgrading the tree, or do I need to make sure and start the challenge before upgrading the tree?

Don’t just bomb the shoppers all at once. There is a twist. There are two different kinds and they do different things if bombed. So if you want a certain kind of drop or level raised you must bomb only the one kind. And if you want the other rewards bomb the other but not both.
Guess this ruins the mazes and road thing. Once again, these “tips” shared about how to “beat the system” have nipped in the bud and they have found a way to ensure you must look carefully at who you bomb and not just all at once.

I think that if you catch any Naughty shoppers in the blast, then they *all* drop only cookies. You have to bomb only Nice shoppers if you want wrapping paper. At least that’s the only way I can explain bombing 10 or so Nice and getting only 2 wrapping paper, and both of those on one blast… Waiting on more Furbals so I can try again…
As for the types, I think they respawn at different rates. I came back to my game after a couple hours and found a stream of Nice shoppers leaving Santa’s area (didn’t have any Furbals at the time, unfortunately), then came back shortly after to see a stream of Naughty shoppers. Figuring out that pattern could make farming wrapping paper much, much easier…

The spawns will vary, but I caught a mix of all of them in a Furbal shot and got a mix of stockings, cookies, and Clams.

They (TinyCo) are working VERY hard to get you to buy more clams to bomb these things. First they made it so just having one slab of road wouldn’t work to contain them. Then tapping them wouldn’t stop them in their tracks. Then mazes stopped working as they just walked right thru them and NOW you can’t just bomb groups but have to selectively bomb (if you’re lucky) 2-3 same type of shopper at once.

So what’s the grand prize supposed to be anyway? So far I haven’t given two turds about the weekly prizes. If the grand prize is just more lame decor (IMO) then I’ll not even stress about this bombing crap.

Maze is working for me. Several characters earn Fuzbals, no need for Clams at all. I bomb them all together NOT separate.
The image seems a glitch…will update when I finish clearing the last of the 100 from my town. (Gotta sleep now n then too)

Once again the bombs are back. I hate that you can’t tap them to freeze the shoppers like the minions at Comic-Con. -_- Now I have to race the clock to get the prize… at least I got lucky and found an unused $100 iTunes gift card hiding in my room I got a few Christmases ago!

I hated the minions, they moved too fast, and if you clicked them they didnt pause nearly long enough. you could barely get 3 clicked to hold them in place let alone the time to bring up the bomb menu to shoot them. The trick or treaters were much easier to hit and I actually appreciated not being able to click them cause with minions most the times im trying to click my characters to assign a task and if a minion was near it kept clickin them instead which was really annoying Havent tried bombing these new guys yet but we will see

By clicking on the minions that enter an intersection repeatedly I could easily gather 15 or so, Every time. It was fun. I hate this new method of having to destroy and rebuild your city to get them to gather together.

Love all the new content, I’ve already won all the prizes from the Gold Gift Box, when I won the tank and tapped to place it from my inventory and it dissapeared I thought it had vanished, then I spotted it rolling driving along the roads of my town, very cool, but my faveouite one has to be the Manger, it just looks so awesome!
