Now that is out of the way, if you continue playing through the questline AND have Stewie’s hidden task after winning his gift, you will trigger “Dry as a Fruitcake”. Part 1 of this is to “Have Stewie Borrow Something Sharp”. You will first off need to have Stewie unlocked in your game (District 8), and he will perform the task at the Griffin’s House. On top of all this…you ALSO need to have the latest version of the game. So, if you are NOT on 1.5.5, you will most likely NOT see this task until you update.

So because this is the last week of Christmas in Quahog (ends 12/31)…you can upgrade the tree twice this go round! As long as you’re at Cheer Level 8 you can fully upgrade your tree!

I agree gave ys 100000 cookies but nothing new to spend them on, just got the yeti deco, already got everything else, the sled was incredibly easy to get, hoping something will arrive before the end as tasks giving us cookies, have 110000 stoping trying to get them now, stockings that we I have loads of, pointless shopoers, and on max level what is the point in completing the tasks, still doing them but little point unless something new hits prior to the end.

Not to rub salt in any wounds, but I have everything from this event! I did buy $20 worth of clams, but got a lot of stuff with that. I don’t think it is too much to spend and support this company that does so much for their players. Not everything can be free or there would not be a game to play. I have so many cookies and different stockings left, I kind of hope we get some more surprises to spend them on!

Santa is NOT gotten by spending clams on ANY gift box. He has always been FREE by just getting the items out of the boxes in Santa’s Factory and completing his wish list. Once he is won. He is placed in your Inventory.

I defeated King Yeti before I got any pop ups/questline to defeat him. I gather I was a bit behind so nothing was starting anew. Now that I’ve put all my yeti-defeating characters on their backlog of quests, will I have to start from scratch re-defeating the yeti? I don’t know if there will be enough time 😦

I think its bad they removed the polka dot box… 😦 because now i have 95000+ cookies that i dont know how to spend…… So i think that people should have been able to use the cookies to try to earn clams.. But no cant give people opportunity to earn ***** clams and not buy them..

It is the same as any other box since …well… I can remember. The box is intended for the main items. Decorations/Buildings. EVERYTHING else is just there as a “side bonus”. It goes away once you have all the main items.
As for free clams….MANY were given this event. Over 100+

Has anyone gotten the yeti as a decoration yet? I have Angel Bruce, Santa and Jesus all unlocked, I’ve gotten everything from the freemium gift box and done mostly everything else aside from getting a few decos in the gold and silver gift boxes. I don’t see Peters quest that triggers it and I’ve already beaten king yeti once.

I FINALLY collected enough of the Puppy Brian stockings and then my Cookies weren’t 5000 and I’d had enough Cookies for DAYS?! 1st I was only 200 Cookies from 5000 so I could have overspent last night buying Cookie items…no biggie. Then my game crashes I restart it and it starts up a full 1200 off?! Argh. Not Cool. 😦 I sent a message to TinyCo. Thanks so much for everything you guys do on this site to help the rest of us! I have the Death Fit For a King quest on my taskbar & Joe,Lois & Mort are attacking the king yeti now but the timer is still showing up above the health points. In your post it says I have till the end of the event with no timer? I’ve got 60 snowflakes for Jesus….

I didn’t I would be able to do it, but I got Jesus. The plan I used to get the Snowflakes I needed worked perfectly. I also got Santa. The only major item left is Angel Bruce, which shouldn’t be a problem and once that gets done I’ll have enough Clams to buy McClane.
As for the left over cookies from Santa I’m hoping TinyCo will be gracious and put up some old premium content to buy with them. With roughly 100K players could get 3-4 outfits or King Butt.

So I triggered the king yeti on Christmas night after upgrading the tree to top level, but had a 24 hr timer on it. I couldn’t beat it in time and was reset to Viking yeti. I thought there was no timer on it. Is there something I’m not understanding?

I’m currently trying to figure out which character it is in which I’m missing.. It says I have 48 out of 49 yet I have every character available in the characters page except for brain dead horse & buzz killington. Death, evil monkey and Jillian have yet to be released. I just mouth Cleveland with all the clams that were shelled out (pun) during the Christmas event.

It really is that “Bigger Picture” mentality. NO ONE knows what goes on behind doors/scenes, but everyone claims to be an expert on it. ANYTHING we get…goes right to the site and our readers…INCLUDING money out of our own pockets.NOT ONE PENNY FROM TINYCO, FOX, OR FAMILY GUY comes to us. NOT ONE. Lol. I also just giggle everyone assumes those that run blogs are rich. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! I am not the kind of person who would normally whine at people on the Internet. However, what ground my gears on this occasion was your hostile response to someone just asking a question about their comment still being under moderation. You could have ignored that comment or directed them to your FAQs but instead you posted a replied from what can only be called a high horse.
This is your blog and that’s your prerogative, but this blog is what it is because of you *and* because of your audience, and it might be a nice gesture if you showed them something like the degree of respect you demand from them.

What you don’t see is what I was getting at. It was more than that. There were many…only one pushed to prove a point. That is the Bigger Picture. You only saw a small comment and reacted. From my view I saw MANY comments…most went to trash as not appropriate for the site. Many times we get trolls and abusive commenters on our site and will put them to a stop. We are patient and kind…but there are times that we have no choice but to react and stand our ground. We have a right to stand our ground. There is only so much abuse a person will take before they react.
It was not really your place to jump into something you obviously did not understand and to attack us in return. In the same regard, you also could have shown respect for us and not assume. Again…it is all about perspective and understanding that Bigger Picture.
Think of it as you walking into a conversation 3 hours in the making, how could you know or understand the situation? THAT is my point. You reacted to something that had nothing to do with you and attacked the person already being attacked.

If you go back and look at your reply to Wenton in the context that is visible, maybe you’ll see how it could be interpreted as mean or rude. I was surprised to read it, as well as your follow up comments, because in general you come across as friendly and upbeat, although recently I’ve seen a few examples of this kind of comment.
If we can’t agree on anything else then please consider taking this feedback: regardless of what goes on behind the scenes, people will form an opinion of you based on the way you visibly respond to people. If you respond to simple questions with hostility and lots of ALL-CAPS (aka shouting) as you (at least appear to) have done here, you come across as unapproachable at best, even mean. That can be nothing but bad for a community that aims to encourage friendly discussion, as yours so admirably does.

Thanks for the feedback. It is all in perception, which is intentionally why I linked the Reader in the first place to the Addicts Guidelines. In my eyes, that specifically pointed out to be kind and not to be rude or mean in anyway. To show patience instead of yelling and complaining to someone you are being “ignored” because your comments are still in moderation…especially during a Major Holiday. We have a right to take time off too. Just as stated in our Guidelines. To see a Bigger Picture. Just as our Guidelines go over again and again. Kindness, patience, understanding, and …not reading things into comments as they don’t show emotions. Which is what I believe you did.
Your view is limited, yes. So instead of reacting, you could ask why the response or approached it differently as well, not assume it was cruel and attack back. We are more than happy to show cause and have so in many cases (if you only saw our spam and trash folders and the abuse we endure hourly). I have even linked every single comment the reader made back to them to show why they were eliminated and removed from our site.
Let me put it this way…it is impossible to make an accurate judgment on a situation going on inside a home when all you saw was a small slit through the blinds while standing outside the house you were just passing by. I think our actions and motto’s we stand by on this site far out weigh a few small instances here and there of us reacting to cruelty.
My reaction…was to you specifically. Your response was quite rude. Honestly. So I say again, we are human too. If we are abused by the same person over and over and over, we do have a right to react and will. Overall…our kindness, compassion, and giving to our readers is FAR more than anything else and will never stop.

Is anyone else experiencing problems trying to buy claims? Ever since the 25th, I’ve been receiving the Consuela error message saying “your purchase no work. We fix. You try again later”. Try to exit out of your game. Go to your app market and log out of that too. Restart your device. Go back to the app market first and log back in. Then go back to the game and try again.

Maybe when there’s one day left to finish the event, you can exchange cookies for stockings, like in the halloween event. I only have 22/100 snowflake stockings to get jesus and I don’t event think to spend real money for clams to get him, so I’m hoping they will give us that opportunity again.

I am REALLY regretting I unlocked all the five main gifts of the Polka Dot Mystery so fast… I already unlocked puppy Brian, Jesus, Santa and all other gifts and still have 149.000 cookies now useless! My advice: keep skipping the gifts when you open that box. GO FOR THE 10-50 CLAMS FIRST!!!!

This is the first event that i am going to complete sucsesfully. Kingdom of the full moon was terrible i only reached the 3th prize. Comic con was also annoying i get only 2 outfits and 5 prizes. Halloween was better than the first second but also terrible. I got almost all the people but not that cool decorations. american dad was going good but then my phone smashed on the ground and he was broken so i was not able to play. But the christmas event was so easy. I got everyone except puppy brian and jesus. I need 20 snowflakes for jesus and 8 wrapping paper for puppy brian. THIS EVENT IS SUPER !!!!!

One of the quests for Ace says I nead a building called Death Records, for Ace from KISS to use, but where do I get it?
It’s not in my shop anyplace.

It was available for 100 clams during Comic Con and American Dad. Don’t know if they will bring it back.

I started the game juat before AD ended so needless to say i wont be able to unlock everything but im giving it a jolly good go

Are you sure both Gene & Paul are voiced, because I haven’t heard a single peep out of either of them.

Both mine talked when I tapped on them. You may still be experiencing the sound glitch they are working on

Please can anybody help?
I accidentally deleted my account from my google+ so I logged in with my username but now whenever I try to log in the game crashes while in the loading screen! If anyone can help I will love you forever. I contacted tinyco but the weekends here and it’s the worst timing for something like this to happen! I hope I haven’t lost my account :((

TinyCo is the ONLY one with access to a players game. If the regular tries of logging back in do not work, they are the only ones that can help. Sorry.

WAAARRRGGG! Cookie overload! Hehehe, just achieved Santa, managed to get 150 clams before the box disappeared! Thankfully put off getting Jesus and Lil Brian, and am gunning for the extras 😉

Bunny – re your update about the Fruitcake quest- I think it is more the starting to collect items for Vinny in District 9 that unlocks the sharp items task. (But if you are in the process of defeating King Yeti finish that first before unlocking built Dog Pound (as Mort and Joe are useful for a three day task for a free building.)(And Mort has a couple of quests (for me) still to do so I will not be maintaining a run on King Yeti).
