Week 3 is live…time to upgrade the Warp Core to level 3 and unlock the Bridge!
In Week 3 we’ll see Borgs, Locutus, Starfleet Lois, Guinan, Skimpy Sarong Herbert (finally for the right reason), a brand new mystery box and Phaser Battles!

BUNNY REMINDER: As stated whenever you tapped the Warp Core… in order to Upgrade… your STARFLEET XP LEVEL needs to be at 4. 
So… to get to WARP CORE 3

First, and best thing to do is upgrade the Warp Core. Tap on it once you have met the requirements and you can start to see some of the new content.

Borgs
The Borgs will not appear until triggered by “An Endless Battle Part 1” by Peter in Warp Core Level 3. Mine showed up after “Frame of Mind Part 8”
Clearing Borgs will require Troi, Worf or Vulcan Quagmire.
Clearing with Worf or Deanna will take 2hrs. Potentially earn Synthesizer Ore, Duct Tape or Space Groceries (You will need to unlock the Bridge to see the tasks in their task menus)
Still working on spawns, but in my game (Bunny) it seems like 5 appeared every 2hrs with a MAX of 5 allowed at a time. So if you already have 3, only 2 more appear at spawn time.

UPDATE BUNNY 4-3 230PM EST: Have already contacted TinyCo in regards to WHO drops the Phaser Energy (even though it says Transporter below) and at what point. Will update when clarification is offered. (Like Chris and Geordi)
Basically you collect Phaser energy to blow stuff up and win more stuff! Once you earn energy you’ll see this screen popup..
Basically shoot stuff to earn more stuff. The more you blow up the better your rewards will be…and don’t forget to blow up the PeterCraft

Family Guy Addicts 
Locutus’ Facespace has a locked profile photo. It seems like the Captain Picard you see on the splash screen when loading is a costume for Locutus(or vice versa). I guess this is how they get around people not having Patrick Stewart since some thought Picard might be a PS costume.
Also I saw a few days ago when energy was collecting for the Replicator that it was showing a bar towards Captain Kirk, the last thing. Hold on to ya butts because from what I can tell he might require 50 of all kinds of energy(at least the first 3 as that’s all we’ve got atm). Those might change as we go but keep saving up when you can because Kirk will be expensive.

I’ve noticed that we may need 100 of the green energy for kirk alone, besides A LOT of the dark green squarish energy and the blue ones.

Am I the only one noticing them mentioning you being able to shoot Meg with the phasers? Is she just that rare or well hidden?

I agree! I wouldn’t have wasted my materials on the stupid things if I knew they were gonna just pull back the drops. The only reason I got them (2) was BECAUSE of the XP. I want my materials back, and they can shove their useless bars up their warp core!

Did anyone else have a Romulan Ale Bar change from 32 XP every 2 hours to FOUR XP every 16 hours? I bought two to help level up, and noticed it changed sometime today. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

What’s up with the Romulus Ale Bar? It was giving out 32 xp every two hours and now it’s giving 4 xp every 16 hours. That was helping me to both catch up and stay on track with leveling up. This event has now become a chore. Thanks tinyco.

Just got him by sending Troi alone to Cespoolus. ALL his tasks drop Dilithium and Starfleet XP. 2 are visual tasks. Nothing shows Material drops as of yet. Looks like he also has a questline. 😉

Romulan Bar has been nerfed pretty hard
From 20 Dilithium Crystals & 32 XP every 2hrs
To 20 Dilithium Crystals & 4 XP every 12hrs!
Without a warning and without the chance to get refunded construction materials

When I try to clear a borg it tells me I need vulcan quagmire. I have Troi and Worf but they don’t have the quests to clear borg.

Did you trigger the questline to start dropping them in the game? Did you unlock the Bridge? Both need to be done for the tasks to appear for Troi and Worf in their task menus.

Knew that was too good to be true. The rumilan ale bar which paid out 32 star fleet xp every 2 hours has been changed. It now only pays 4 xp every 16 hours. Why are tinyco making this so hard to earn star fleet xp????

In regards to earning SF XP, I was lucky to take advantage of the Romulan Ale Bar rate (32 SF XP/2 Hrs). Instead of building a Casket Ejector (only one-time 800 XP), I built 4 Romulan Ale Bars in Quahog. Every two hours earned 128 SF XP and now I’m at Rank 5-1/2 only a couple days into week 3. But now they’ve changed the drop rate to 4 XP/16 hrs. I knew it was gonna be too good to be true.

I play everyday (free player) Open the game up every 3hrs (no I don’t set an alarm to
Wake up in the middle of the night)
I have not unlocked deena cuz I don’t have enough blue energy. Still on warp core 2, still on 3 1/2 energy.. So, can’t upgrade anything.
It says 26days left but .. Over 2 weeks solid and nothing? Used the transporter 2 times. I think you all that are super far are dropping $15.00 a week on clams, but I can’t.

When I get an item from the replicator my xp is not adding up. For the klingon temple you get 170 xp but I did not receive that amount. And because of thay I’m still stuck at level 3 and can’t upgrade my warpcore. Very annoying

Are you guys having any success with phaser energy? I’m horrible in trying to hit more than one item at once. At least I hit the ship but still. I’ve fired over 5 to 6 times without any item drops! Besides Klingon Chris doing his war screams, how am I supposed to collect 25 of his powder bags?!

I just sit n wait. They start to kinda fall in patterns n groups. Then I put the target in FRONT of them (knowledge from shooting my whole life)… and wait to fire til I see them lit up in red. I usually get two to three each time.

Hopefully this helpful to some, but I had 100% success getting chocolates bysending Geordi and Klingon Chris. 4 bars every time.
Quick strategy question: should I keep continually clearing Borg’s, or use my characters time on other stuff? Deanna has a ton of tasks lined up. Should I focus on those of Borg’s? Which is the more important?

Okay, since you guys have better contact with most, can you please explain to them how “premium” characters work. Guinan has a six hour task to give phaser energy – which is the same length as 3 non-premium characters. She has a two hour task to get duct tape, which is the same as the non-premium Riker’s Quarters and 2 non-premium characters’ clearing Borg task. Despite costing 200 clams, she does nothing better or faster than the free characters, so WHERE IS HER VALUE TINYCO?????? I know I’m a couple days early but WHAT. THE. DEUCE.

If it’s the same rate as three other sources then that makes a 25% increase – no, wait, a 33% increase in rate. Getting things a third faster is non-trivial. Plus, of course, non-premium characters may be diverted for necessary storyline quests.
But since when has the reason for buying premium characters been for gameplay reasons? They are a way to pay for the game and to buy fancier decorations. They are expensive – cheaper than mystery boxes, though!

With having Guinan you get one more chance to get stuff, which saves you, given the 3 other possibilities to get stuff, 1/3 of the time. And that is how the premium characters work, they are making things significant faster.

The advantage would be that you have another shot at getting those items unlike every one else. There’s her value.

Use critical thinking skills? Lol. Guinin adds a whole extra fraction to get those objects. Instead of 1 Character working towards getting each object, guinan allows you to have TWO characters working toward an object. So technically you can get twice as many of said object compared to players who don’t have guinan. Not sure why that seems unfair? if you just want duct tape and energy yoy can rush tasks to buy them, no need for the character at that point.

It is a Chance. Some are using just Peter, others … different combos. It didn’t drop him right away. After a few tries.

I’m done. They took all of the fun out of this event with the transport energy/chocolate bar issues. I’ve made 3 trips with 3 characters and still have 0 chocolate. This could have easily been fixed by at least allowing another way to get the chocolate. I’ve spent all of my time shuffling rooms because that is the only way I can get energy. It may very well be a long event, but I can’t keep playing when absolutely no progress can be made. Not worth my time anymore. This game lost a fan today.

Totally agree with you there. We’re limited with progression and tasks because of unobtained characters. What’s worse is that they say it’s been “fixed”. I call BS on that because nothing has changed on my end…

I have noticed a slight increase in transporter energy recieved through rec rooms.. Chocolates, I am having the same issue. Only did two away missions so far though.. I’m glad the regular questline has some good tasks for me right now, otherwise I’d be feeling the same way.

I’m in the same exact spot. I actually just contacted tiny-co to explain how it doesn’t make sense. Part of me feels bad for complaining because it’s not my style and this is an awesome event. I hope they make the transporter energy easier to get because I would like to try more missions then just to that same planet to get chocolate every 3 days.

I think this week will be a tactical week…
I’m gonna hold off on the transporter for a bit, keep piling up my energies and have deanna constantly taking down borgs
I’m also gonna get the large amount common items (batteries, ear pieces) with the characters only, so when I aquire all them they’ll b taken from the transporter prize menu n itll b a higher chance to get other prizes like Herberts hilariously creepy outfit lol

I noticed you’ve been doing a lot of pew pew pewing over there, and that ya have a lot of laser pointers, but I don’t understand how you are getting so many Phaser Energies to be pew pew pewing away! Cause over here, despite having 2 rooms and characters, including Worf plugging away at getting PE’s, I’m not getting many chances to go pew pew pew. And I only have 2/35 Laser Pointers so far. 😦

I wanted to add I see kirk pop up on the side sometimes. I see him when I collect life support energy, transporter energy and I think synthesizer ore. I am sure it is a glitch but he may very well use them in the future.

I got no Romulan Symbol Statue in the shop…
It WAS there when i upgraded the warpcore (it was late at night, 3am over here) I was going to sleep and didn’t bought it, because i wasn’t sure that my dilithium will be enough for the new rooms aso.
Since the next day the sign was awy for me.
And is there some kind of Post about the Phaser in preparation? What kind of prices you can get aso. If i should buy buildings for the phaser energy.
And anyone else got problem with android and the 1600 clam buy option?

Few things needed to trigger it… You need to trigger the questline that causes the Borg to show up. You also got to unlock the Bridge.

All I can say is I’m done. This should have been the biggest and best event yet and all its done is irritate me beyond belief. I have spent a ton of money on this game and now I’m just going my to delete it.

Most stated back up and running. All I can suggest at this point is to try the basics and contact TinyCo to let them know you are still having the issue.

I did. now I cant even play it anymore. After re-installation it crashes when i try to repair the house. >.<, gonna run a thorough cleaner, see if that works 😦

Is there a problem with increase the Starfleet XP? I only need a half of the little spot left on the meter and decided to create another Latmium loans and another Hot Tea building. That was a total of 90XP coming in, yet really no budge on the meter. (The spot did flash though as if it was “registering”).

As we do not know the exact counts, I can’t tell you how many you need to reach the level. If it did flash, it did register. I already gave them my thoughts on this.

I had the same issue, needed 1 bar (which only seemed like 20-30 xp took care of it eventually) i remember seeing it blink, but the bar did nothing and i don’t think it counted either. Do be weary when your buying extras of the replicator item trying to get to sf level 4, they don’t seem to count the xp a second time. Just from my experience.

170 xp, and my bar didnt move. But when its 1 or 2 xp, I see it move slightly.. How does this work…? I know its counting it, because it flashes, but if 1 or 2 xp makes it move, then I would imagine 170 would be very noticable. This is so messed up. They should have a counter for the xp, might help.. was thinking the 170 would bring me to xp level 4 since I am 2 bars away, but nope. Still in the same place.

The answer is that it’s not counting it. Based on what everybody is reporting, it couldn’t be more clear…

Now now… don’t mislead people. It IS counting. Verified it many times. It just requires more and more XP each level to move up. It is only a visual thing and we HAVE seen this Event after Event. You gain the Event XP, the bar doesn’t visibly move… then BAM… it jumps.

Have to agree to disagree..you verified that it worked for you and I verified it did not work for me…I am playing on an iOS device…may be device specific…its kind of hard to miss an 800 Xp impact (equivalent to 32 taco trucks or more than two days of Romulan ale bar Xperia back in the days when it was 32 every two hours)

Okay. I thought it easy just me.The game just dropped like 175xp for placing the klingon temple and my meter didn’t budge. I hope they’re still being counted even if the meter isn’t showing it cause I want to upgrade my warp core asap!

I just upgraded my warp core to lvl 3. I built the casket ejector and only got 8 SF xp. And the bar gave me 35 SF xp, I think. I don’t know if I missed something when it was picked up but I do know people were saying the xp bar wasn’t moving with the casket ejector. BTW you guys are doing an amazing job with keeping us up to date on what is going on.

One of the tasks say you have to shoot the rocks it says 10 rocks to be shot I collected six phaser energies I shot five rocks and it didn’t give me any credit for it I already contacted tiny co-has anybody else had this problem

Just had word from TinyCo. There is a bit of a Challenge to it… the Asteroid must match the one in the image for the quest. (The circular Asteroid). Due to the confusion though… a change may be put into play for ALL to count. So hang in there and it may auto complete if you do not shoot more in the meantime. 😉

It is part 5 of a Ship Without Picard. Just part of the main questline. Nothing separate or timed.

The actors arent their characters. And in the fictional world of quahog both the actor and the character can coexist
