Hey there Tribblemakers!
The Next Phase in the Star Trek Event has hit and with it we now have two more Planets in the mix to visit. So let’s take a look at what cool things the Two New Planets have brought us in the game.
Once you get your Starfleet XP to Level 4 and upgrade your Warpcore to Level 3, you will get access to more options aboard the Enterprise. Like more Planets to send Away Missions to.
Again, this is another cool feature aboard the Enterprise that will help you earn items to unlock Characters, increase your Dilithium and Starfleet XP count, and earn other items to put into your Quahog with the Star Trek theme. For the first set of Planets, go to the post HERE.
Now for the Basics for each Planet.

WHAT ABOUT THE EXTRA ITEMS?
Let’s take a quick look at all the Extra Items and what they do.
Romulan Warbird (Decoration): Sits on a 5×5 base. Appears to kind of hover in place up and down while the engine lights glow and dim.
Skimpy Sarong Herbert (Character Costume): Fully tasked Costume that pays out Starfleet XP and Dilithium for all tasks. Two Outdoor tasks that are kinda funny. One is a “wardrobe malfunction”, the other is him using a portable holodeck to make Chris appear in front of him and the hologram Chris takes the remote to make himself promptly disappear. There is also a questline that accompanies him. More on that later. 
The remaining items are a mix of Materials that can be used all over the Event. Whether its to unlock a Character or help to purchase other items like Rooms.
Here are some of MY results, YOURS may vary.
Klingon Chris, first trip Romulan Warbird. Additional trips Batteries and Dilithium
Deanna Troi, first trip (after sending Chris Multiple times) Skimpy Sarong Herbert.
Deanna Troi and Worf, first trip (after sending 6 once) 5 Earpieces. Additional trips varied with other items.
Now for a recap again of the Basic How To…
HOW DO I SEND CREW’S ON A MISSION TO THE PLANETS?
Now for some more in depth information on how the Planet Missions and their payouts work.
Each Planet has a Chance at getting an Extra Item during the trip. To better your chance, you send a specific combination of Characters to the Planet. The game is actually very useful in telling you who is the better candidates as the word under the Extra Item will change. Unlikely, OK, and Likely. You will also see the Energy Bars next to the words go up and down depending on the Character. The highest one will be the most likely item you will get. Let’s give it a try.
I will use Oh’Nos as an example.
Most of the items start out at Unlikely. The Synthesizer showing slightly lower than the rest.
Now to select a Crew Member. Just tap on the Pic Icon of the Character you would like to send on the Mission. Once tapped, a check mark will appear over the Characters Pic and the Character will be placed into the Transporter. Side Note: If the Character is darkened out, that means they are on another task. They can only do one thing at a time so you will have to wait to use them until they are done. Locked ones usually mean they are not available yet. (Though Worf appeared locked instead of darkened when busy.)
At the same time, you will see how this Character impacted the scale on each of the items. You can see what items go from Unlikely to OK to Likely. Swap the Characters around until you find the combination that will gain you the prize you want most.
For this example, I want the Ferengi Billboard. So I will send Ferengi Mort… which moved the Billboard to OK. Then I added Geordi, which highered the OK on the Billboard but also the 45 Dilithium. The Ore is still Unlikely.
Then I added Riker, which turned the Billboard to Likely and the Dilithium Crystals, the the Energy Meter next to the Billboard is still higher so a better chance. It also switched the Ore to OK. (Adding Worf or Chris keep them at same difference, just a lil higher scale… so I won’t bother with them on the trip.) 
Now that I have my Crew, I will tap the “ENGAGE” to send them on their way. Once tapped, you will see them beam away to the Planet.
Then a quick pop up will appear with a recap of how long the mission will take, your Crew, your Chances, and the Payout. It will also show you the option of speeding the quest and clam cost to do so.
Tapping the italic i will just let you know the same, that your Crew is busy and to get them back faster you will have to pay clams. 
Now the Transporter will show a progression icon above it and will fill in until your Crew’s Mission is completed.
Once you see the Check Mark, tap on it and the team will beam back aboard and your prizes will be awarded. You will then be able to see what Extra Item you got with your standard payout. Tapping on Awesome will clear it out and add your awards to your game.
The Materials will go to your counts, the Decorations will Transport down to your Quahog and you will find them in your Inventory Storage, or use the shortlink of the Cargo Container next to the Shuttle in the Event Area.
Basically there is no set guarantee just yet to get the items. It will vary each player. I assume the more Characters that come unlocked on board the Enterprise that can join the Missions, the more options we will see to get Extra Items. Side Note: For me, once a Character was unlocked, the item they needed disappeared. So once I had Starfleet Lois, the Earpieces were gone from the options of Extra Items to earn.
Remember, these detailed posts are here to help many players. I won the Romulan war bird the second time I sent chris alone. It says it waiting for me in Quahog in my inventory. No sign of it there though. Same thing happened with the Romulan ale house and Mort board. Anyone know where they are? Anyone else had these issues?

Go to Quahog and find Riker’s Shuttle he crashed and you repaired. Tap on the circular item next to it. It may or may not have a container on it.
It’s a shortcut to your inventory.

Okay, so I just unlocked Starfleet Lois and went to send an away team…but Skimpy Sarong Herbert is missing? I know I haven’t claimed it yet. Was it timed? The only thing left in the Cespoolus away team is Dilithium and the Romulan War Bird. Maybe just a glitch? I hope. Sad trombone.

Are you currently making someone else in Al’s? If so, you can’t get TWO costumes at one time. Only one at a time. So any other Costume will “lock out” to avoid YOU getting locked out of your game until you tap that check mark and complete the costume in Al’s that you are making right now.

I’m at a loss here. Sent Chris by himself 5 times. Troi by herself a couple times. The whole group of 4 at least 6 times. And yet, still no warbird or Sarong Herbert. Still time to get them both, but it’s getting just a little frustrating.

Took me awhile, but finally got Edo Herbert by sending Peter alone, which took several attempts in itself. Sorry can’t remember how I got the warbird.

Hmmm. ok. It seems the bars do not increase from red to green, no matter who I put in the transporter. Still no Herbert. Is this typical?

Yup. Typical. He is a RARE win. Which for some meant 30+ tries. Most that I have seen have got him by sending only one person.

This is getting frustrating! I won’t send any more people out to the star to get potentially 3 orange triangular crystals; I’ve gotten nothing but 15 dilithium/3xp!! Even when I send SIX people!

For herbert i tried 3 times with peter and got it on the 3rd one.
For phaser energy on nom-nom i send Peter and mort (since neither can earn phaser energy) and i have been quite successful with that combo.

Oh yeah as far as the war bird goes. I waited for the questline then did it and got it on the first try. Don’t remember who i sent sorry.

I’m getting so frustrated with the Herbert costume. I’ve sent at least 25 missions with varying crews from one person to all four with no luck on it. I’m glad other people have had better luck than me …

If it makes anyone feel better about their situation trying to get Skimpy Sarong Herbert, just know that I’ve made OVER 25 away missions to Cespoolus (mostly sending Peter solo) and still haven’t gotten him yet.

Hi Bunny, I sent Deanna a couple times after Chris and I didn’t see if I was awarded Herbert’s outfit, probably tapping too fast, but then I noticed it wasn’t on the list for Cespoolus anymore, wasn’t in my inventory, or Al Harrington’s. Any thoughts? was it limited time? or have I run in to a glitch?

It sure is funny how peoples games are different, I got herbert last week just sending chris alone, on one shot. This was after sending chris alone and got the warbird on the first shot also. I sent chris, mort, and riker to kronos and got the arena on the first shot. The only thing I struggled with was the chocolate, and that was becouse TE wasn’t dropping quick enough. Im all done transporting, and have 11 TE in stock for next phase. Hope it helps, I figured chris alone would bring out herbert and it did.

I’ve been trying to get him for ages but he’s disappeared from the unlocks for that away mission so I don’t know if it’s a bug or if he’s meant to have gone.

Intentional…. you will lock out of your game if you try to create more than one Character at a time in Al’s. This caused massive issues during the Comic Con event. So a fail safe is now in the game that makes it so if one Character is busy being created, all other costumes will lock out until the check mark is tapped and that costume opened.

That is because, like it says here, the results vary by player. So try some options and see what you get. Look at others comments here and see what they did to get him too. Try what you want.

I just got back from kronos with Klingon Chris, feringi mort, and riker. We got the arena on the first shot, my time for transporting in this phase are over, now its time to stock up on all the TE I can get for the next phase. Still have 18 laser pointers only to get picard, and 10 felicium only to unlock lois, and all the quest lines. I’d say im in good shape. Hope the combo I sent to kronos works for other addicts as well. Happy gaming.

I’ve been trying around the clock and still havent unlocked troi. I’ve sent on several away missions to iota wai and haven’t gotten a single chocolate bar. The fact it takes six energy each time doesnt help because then i have to keep plugging to get mor energy. I really like the concept but the execution is flashing me back to the butt idol fiasco. Not sure i will be able to unlock anyone unless i pay 200+ clams for worf! I do like tribbles keep dropping clams but this is otherwise getting frustrating…

I’m finally down to grinding through laser/asteroid missions to get the final elements for Starfleet Lois and Locutus — and I do have problems with the numbers they require for Felicium and Laser Pointers and the time it takes to earn laser energy — so yesterday I shifted to going after the last Transporter item I needed in this phase.
Getting the Romulan warbird was relatively easy; got it after two attempts.
I saved up Transporter energy and selected Troi to go on missions until I got Herbert’s outfit. Took less than ten tries (maybe eight?).
Though I love the concept, I haven’t been a big fan of how they implemented the Transporter/Away missions, but I will give them this: They apparently wanted Herbert’s horrifying sarong to be a ‘rare’ drop, but they set the mission’s cost and time to minimums (1 energy and 1 hr) to compensate.

I agree that I like the idea, but hate the implementation. I wish each character added different probabilities to each item so there was more trial and error. It really just looks like every person you add adds the same amount to each item, rather than trying to figure out what combo gives you the best chance at what you really want. More like the dating couples at valentines.

I would get Lois to help get Locutus. Away Missions will help with both the characters. Phaser Battles too

My results from the transporter over the last few days netted me…
Kronos: Arena came pretty quick with a trip or two using both Klingons.
Cesspoolus: This one was definitely the wringer. I had tried a few combinations of crew and kept getting the DCs. I had finished getting batteries not too long before so that drop disappeared. I started trying someone else’s suggestion of Troi by herself and still got the same results. After the fourth or fifth time I read someone else’s comment about Peter on his own on Cesspoolus. Tried that after all the Troi attempts and pop goes Herbert (double eww). His outfit build comment is funny.
I’ve got some laser pointers and some bags of felicium left to get for Locutus and Starfleet Lois.

For me, each character added to the transporter only moves the bars up a small amount. Everything shows as unlikely with one character. I’ve stepped through every possible combination of characters before sending, and Herbert still shows as unlikely. Either the bars are wrong, or the payouts are random. It’s frustrating to tie up a number of characters and not get any of the special items.

Having a heck of a time getting the Herbert costume. Sent Peter 3x, Chris 3x, and Troi 3x, now trying all three. Got lucky and picked up the Warbird on the 2nd try, nothing but crystals since.
Any suggestions for Kronos and the arena?

Sigh…hate to keep doing this, but the payouts for Cespoolus are incorrect. Should be 1XP amd 5 DC with a chance for Warbird, 15 DC, 10 Batteries, SS Herbert. I’m on a mission there now, otherwise I would doublecheck everything you have for the other planet as well. Were these tables copied from the previous planets post?

I had this happen to me too a couple days ago. I earned Klingon Chris and went to send him on a mission to hopefully get Herbert, but that prize option wasn’t listed anymore. After spending a half hour trying to figure out where he went, I went back to the transporter and there he was again. I was very relieved.

Random is a good way to describe some of the transporter payouts…
For these two planets, I skipped Nom-Nomulous and focused on Cespoolus (there was nothing there that I could not get elsewhere, so why waste the transporter energy). I got the Romulan Bird-of-Prey on my second try by sending only Peter. Thinking I had this clocked, I spent an entire day sending only Peter – but only got crystals or nothing (except once I got Batteries, so I stopped until I completed the Batteries – just in case it might have dropped Herbert instead).
Today I sent Troi by herself a few times, then Troi with Chris a couple times, and then back to Troi by herself – and Skimpy Sarong Herbert finally dropped on my last trip. I guess he was caught in a graviton well or something…
It is strange how I landed all the necessary chocolates in only 3 trips using the Chris, Worf, Geordi combo, but Herbert’s skin popped out completely at random (eww, that sounded wrong). There just seems to be no rhyme or reason to the odds of getting the Cespoolus items (especially since Herbert’s bar never budged no matter who was on the pad). I guess you just have to plug away and the treats will come eventually. At the very least, the investment is minimal – it could have been a 4 hour trip or cost 6 energy, so thank you TC for being merciful this round.
Now I am just waiting to see if anyone has had any luck obtaining the Klingon Battle Arena from Kronos. The 25 clam price tag is not horrible, I just don’t want to buy the ticket and not get the prize. Then I’d really have to get all Nausicaan on someone…

I used Worf, Klingon Chris and Ryker and after twice sending those three I got the arena. I was using Bunny’s way of using both Klingons and nothing worked until I used the trio I just said. It may work for you or may not but it’s worth a try.

Still trying to Herbert. Gave up on the earpieces but I an down to needing only 6 so should be done them in the next day or so with Bruce and Jerome. If all goes well should have Starlet Lois and Locutus unlocked in the next day or so.

✨I’ve gotten majority batteries from Bonnie’s 1-hr task, but I sent Deanna alone TWICE to “Cespoolus” and BOTH times she brought me back batteries! So that jumped up my battery count for Locutus. I only need 1 more battery and 30 more laser pointers. So close yet so far away!!! lol 😄

I got all my earpieces and batteries from Quahog. Admittedly, it caused some nasty looks every hour with Bonnie as my alarm kept going off. Quagmire is super stingy with laser pointers and Chris must be snorting the felicium. And the phaser mini-game is also not being very forthcoming as I think I just passed halfway on laser pointers and I am about 10 out on the felicium. I think this will be the first Tuesday when I am still trying to get characters at the end of the day. I usually have Wednesday and Thursday to get through whatever quests to advance to next phase, but everyone is currently trying to score ores or in Chris case felicium.

I’m finding Herbert very vexing! I’ve sent Peter alone nine times, then sent Chris six times, and now Troi twice. And to add insult to injury Troi returned without the extra Dilithium crystals just the base values. Oh well in the best Kohn impression

Ive read post on upgrading core ive just upgraded to lvl 3 and unlocked the bridge and nothing happened only that i have to collect for both characters and i can shoot stuff but no quest showed is that whats ment to happen?

What am I missing? How have so many been able to send the transporter on a large number of trips? I’m not getting enough transporter energy. Plus, the fact that the people who go on the transporter are needed to get the energy or are needed to complete a task in the quest line: 24 hours, 14 hours, etc. I may have used the transporter only 5 times. Any ideas? Thanks. (Freemium player.)

It all depends in your personal drops and characters/buildings/rooms dropping. It all depends in the player.

Have you noticed that someone in the second character selected is put in the back? However the sprite is on top of the first sprite so a large Sprite like Peter blocks the first sprite partially creating an optical illusion of him being behind and in front of the other character! Lol!

Great post, really good to hear how you and everyone is doing with the away missions and seems some people have all the luck dropping on their 1st trips! for me not so good yaet 😦

Have found that just spamming characters into the transporter can be counterproductive. If you’ve got the chance to get either Item A or Item B, and you want Item A, you actually have a better chance with A at say 75% of a bar and B at 50% than you do with both at 90%. Only one extra item can drop at a time, and unlike what is said to be the case regarding one task dropping two items, in this case, one drop does appear to be able to override the other.

Just sent Chris out alone for the first time and got Herbert’s costume (only second trip to Cespoolus)! How fitting is it that Chris got it? 😉
Sending him out alone again in hopes of the Romulan ship or the last of the batteries I need.
On another note, just got the creepiest notification from my game ever, as I closed it while Herbert’s costume was being built: “Skimpy Sarong Herbert is looking great. Come play with it!”

I JUST got my Sarong Herbert! So happy. I got him with Peter alone on maybe the 10th or so trip. But before that I got two sets of batteries (I’m done with those now) and the Klingon ship all with just Peter alone.

Hey guys, so in the transporter, my husband has a blue lock on star fleet Peter…he has used him before in the transporter.. And it’s not just dim because he’s doing something else, it has a lock on it. Any idea why?

Is Peter on another task? Usually they will dim OR Lock out if they are busy doing something else.

I get that it “dims” when on another task, but have neve seen the character have a Lock on it, when he should be able to go on the away mission…was wondering if anyone else saw this?

I have. Even noted it in the other post. Worf did it, so did a few other Characters while on tasks. Certain tasks trigger the lock vs the shadowing. Again, just means they are otherwise occupied. Whether not unlocked or in use elsewhere, it means you can’t currently use them. 😉

I believe you get the lock if the character (Peter, Chris, Mort, etc.) is both otherwise occupied *and* not in their Star Trek costume at the moment. Could also be just the latter (no costume), but I’ve only ever noticed it when it was both.

I really only need Herbert’s skin because all the other item I collected through tasks. Too bad they didn’t also let you collect the phaser mini-game item through the transporter as I have 10 laser pointers and 8 felicium.

Was annoyed to see an item required for quest progression in here again. But then I got the ship on my one an only attempt sending Deanna alone. Might have one or two goes at Herbert now as well but then save TE for the next phase.

Also, Nom-Nomulous only costs 4 TE. Still seeing formatting issues too. No matter how much I zoom in or out within my browser (Chrome), the tables are cutoff by the “THE LASTEST FROM FG ADDICTS” and “PLAY TAPPED OUT? CHECK OUT TSTO ADDICTS” sidebars.

Lol, I definitely didn’t see it on my last refresh. Hard to miss as it would have been directly above my post. Was certainly not there for a little bit. I’m on a laptop connected to a widescreen monitor, so there shouldn’t be any issues with my device and changing the resolution doesn’t change how the webpage is displayed.

I get the same formatting issue on my tablet (Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 ed) No matter which browser I use (Chrome or Samsung) or whether I set it to mobile or desktop mode. This is what I see.

Since friday, between the jesus clams, ollie clams, tribble clams, and I few I’ve been saving, I bought kronos for 25 clams thinking the arena might be needed at some point. I dont have worf so I’m thinking definitly kilngon chris and………if anyone has any good combinations let me know. Have a good day. Happy gaming.

Getting Skimpy Sarong Herbert takes a lot of patience and persistence. At least for me it did. It took 13 trips and I used different combos and tried solo trips. I finally got him last night by only using Chris. Yay!
I still need to unlock Starlet Lois and Locutus. The drops for sugar and lazer pointers is very slow. I need 15 more Sugars and 20 more laser pointers. So maybe 2 more days for me (I hope).
