Hey there Tribblemakers!
So a new 24 timed Character option has hit the game along with a new Premium Character and several Item Drop Changes…
More to come, but here are some basics.
First off, make sure you have the LATEST App Market Version of the game. Some of these changes may require you to restart your device to get them to go into “action”.
When you first go in the game, Peter will trigger a pop up for the New Character Costume for Klingon Meg Requirements. Just tap on the ! above Peter to get started.
If you already bought any of the Characters, like I did, they will be automatically checked off for you in the game. You essentially have 24hrs to buy all 3 Premium Characters to get Klingon Meg’s Costume for Free. 
Once you get them all within the allotted time, you will get a pop up from Peter completing the task and awarding Klingon Meg. 
You will then be taken to Al’s where it will take 10 mins to create her. (Side note: Remember, only ONE Costume can be created at a time. Due to this ALL other Costumes will lock out/disappear until you tap the check mark and complete the creation. So while you create Klingon Meg, Costumes like Mort and Herbert’s will disappear until you are done. )
More details separately, but here are some basics on the Premium Characters…
FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE MEG UNLOCKED IN YOUR GAME YET, THIS COSTUME WILL BE STORED IN “LIMBO” UNTIL YOU UNLOCK HER. IN CASE YOU WANT IT 🙂
FREE w/3 Below- Klingon Meg: Comes with questline (Forhead for Days), Comes with 6 tasks, 2 Visual tasks, No drops as of yet but can be used in Transporter Missions.
260 Clams- Worf: Comes with questline (Bat’Leth Out Of Hell), Voice by Actor, Comes with 7 tasks, 3 Visual tasks, 1 Always drop Transporter Energy
200 Clams- Guinan: Comes with questline (Guinan’s Guide to the Galaxy), Voiced by Actress, Comes with 5 tasks, 2 Visual tasks, 1 Always drop Phaser Energy
200 Clams- Q: Comes with questline (Q! That’s Who!), Voiced by Actor, Comes with 7 tasks, 3 Visual tasks, 1 task to drop Space Condoms, 1 Task to Clear Red Shirts, Roams Enterprise
I am waiting on verification, for those that do NOT have Meg if it will store in limbo as in the past. Will update with details once I get them.

So what I’m seeing here is that until you upgrade to warp core level 4 the drop rates from the petercraft are still abysmal (about 5% now), but as soon as you upgrade to warp core 4 they will become 100%?? So at the very point you probably no longer need the drops, suddenly the drops would be overflowing?? This is just more terrible buggy design on their part. Much like adding chocolate drops to Bonnie well after anyone would need that. If that had been added 2 weeks ago it would have been very useful, but now it’s just pointless. If you have this inside line to them making things work properly, please tell them to pull their heads out of their shuttlebays and fix these things properly. Guess I’ll wait another day or two to play the phaser game until I have the XP for warp 4, because right now it’s just throwing it away.

Also for the for the Hyposoray its gets from clearing borgs but i fail to see it in a task? I cleared them with troi but that task is just for the green cube?

Just a side note for anyone that may have been worried (from the comments I’ve read no one seems to be, but I was so I’ll throw it out there) Klingon Meg was originally needed to compete the costume set for 25 clams (free clams are really the only reason I’m playing this event anymore), but now that she’s basically premium, she appears to have been removed from the set, and just the other 4 costumes remain (peter, chris, lois, and stewie)

with my android device (samsung galaxy s5) im having problems when im shooting the crafts. sometimes it shoots straight away, other times its delayed. i always hit the shoot button as soon as the target turns red and sometimes the shot is so delayed i miss all together. its getting annoying. anyone else have this problem?

Try zooming in on the enterprise before you go to use your phasers. I’ve found that the more I’m zoomed out, the more the phasers lag. Presumably the processor or something is working harder. It may not help but it’s worth a shot.

Yep, I am having the same problem, samsung galaxy tab s, I have taken 60 shots, and I have one condom. I dont shoot until I see red, but it doesn’t seem to matter. I reported it, and got nothing from them in return in 2 days, but I suppose it is the weekend, so I am giving them some leeway, but I am pretty much done with phasers, and am pretty much okay with not getting quagmire at this point. Not gonna stress it, just enjoy the rest of the game and what is working! *smile*

I’m getting this too. Had enough difficulty hitting the regular PeterCraft but twice for the bigger craft is crazy hard with the terrible lag. The ships sometimes jump 2 or 3 inches across the screen, or completely off the edge. I haven’t successfully destroyed the shielded craft once yet, despite waiting ages for great looking opportunities before each attempt. Seems the best thing to do is skip Vulcan Quagmire if not spending lots of clams.
Have sent TinyCo at least 10 in-game messages since December about lost clams and reporting other issues but they’ve never replied properly, just the automated ‘Sorry its taking so long, please send another message if you still need help’ response once and nothing more.

The “always” drop on the laser pointers from the petercraft is making a HUGE difference. Will probably have Locutus by the end of the day now. Finally got Lois’ costume this morning and just could not turn down Q. Since I had already had Worf and Guinan, I got Meg’s costume. As a huge Trekkie since I was 10, this has been a dream event.

Hahahaha I only needed 5 more bags of felicium, so once they fixed the petercrafts, I just went in and blew up 5 small ones, not even caring.. Boom SF Lois. If I had to make Chris battle cry anymore I think I might have thrown my phone out the window. Good thing it has a lifeproof case on it 😉

The Always drop for laser pointers on the regular PeterCraft worked for me today, got 9 in a row and Finally unlocked Locutus. I didn’t need felcium so don’t know about that. I’m on android device.

Since this update/change it seems that the tribbles have changed their spawn time from every 4 hours to every 6 or maybe 8. Anyone else have any stats/thoughts on this?
It would really suck if that is the case bec my favorite part of the event is smashing those little guys! Lol. Not to mention the dillithium crystals we will be missing out on 😦

Wait for it to go diagonally across the screen to give you the longest time to shoot it twice before it goes. Make the first shot as soon as you can and make sure you SEE the damage from the hit. Next shot line up, again making sure it is RED on the target and fire.

I’ve been playing this game since the launch but I’m not even trying anymore on this event. I log in to the game 10 plus time daily and I still don’t even have Locutus, Lois, Quagmire or Beverly. It’s just not worth it. The drop rates are so terrible for this event. Really a huge let down after so many great events on this game.

I was feeling the same, but don’t give up now, the new drop rates have made a HUGE difference. I just finally got Locutus today. Just keep collecting as much phaser energy as possible and you’ll get Lois & Locutus. I’m not even close yet on Crusher or Quagmire, wouldn’t think many people are yet, gonna take awhile but they are obtainable.

Well, Quagmire and Beverley are new so I would be surprised that many have them unlocked yet. Locutus and Lois should be much easier to do now that the laser pointers and felisium are always drops from petercraft, admittedly getting the phaser energy is time consuming.

I don’t have the red shirts either, you apparently need to be at The Road to Recovery Pt. 3 which is a quest that hasn’t even popped up yet in my game. I don’t have Q or Beverly Crusher so I’m happy to be without more ship invaders getting in the way just now!

Still having an issue with phaser fire not destroying the large petership.
I just tried to hit a slow moving shielded petership, 4 phaser shots to the head, all in the red, and none of the shots registered.
The game said I had zero success.
So, still glitched in that respect.

I had that happen a couple times, (albeit earlier on when it was just the regular one) so, after a couple times, I just aim right dead center of the craft and not the head and haven’t had that issue again.

Why does it seem like I’m always slightly behind in accomplishments than everyone else, hmmmm… though, I’m not much of a spender, I do appreciate the entertainment value that the game has been successful at providing, so I wait for the specials to pop-up and consider them, tossing a few bucks ever so often as a hat-tip from a freemium player. So now I’ve got Q and Guinan for a Twenty spot. Here’s hoping that their future 24 hour tasks are at least animated so that after this event, when they are virtually useless, they can at least provide some entertaining animations when I slot them for a 24 hour task like I do with all the other sidelined characters.

Ha ha ha! Ok, Hypospray! That’s all I need now for Beverly. Very slow going for sure even with multiple rooms etc. I’m down to only needing the Dummy books and condoms for our favorite Vulcan. Bought Q last night and since I’m a total you know what for premium characters, I also have Klingon Meg. I think if you have the first two premium characters, it’s a really great deal to get Q and Meg’s new skin for just 200 clams. I’m going to wait until you give the all clear for the patch, but I have been using when I notice the cost of speeding up certain tasks is really low, like a clam or two. I’ve had good luck with pay outs this way. Then there’s the multiple tries box that pops up after some characters finish their tasks. That’s made a huge difference as its paid out 70% or better. Typically more than a clam or two, but if you’re short on patients like I am, it’s a method to give you the warm fuzzy feeling of progress.
Thought I’d share and thanks a bunch for all that you guys do!

Here’s the poll I would like to see:
For people who purchase premium characters and buildings, do you do so because:
1. You are a completest and you have to have everything?
2. You see the value in the item and feel this item will assist you greatly in challenges and tasks?
3. You love the character or the look/design of the building and just HAVE to have it?
4. You spend your clams when they are collected because otherwise they burn a hole in your pocket?
That’s the data that TinyCo should be using when making decisions on premium items and their direct involvement in questlines. Vulcan Quagmire would seem to be a monumental challenge for freemium players even with the alleged increase in energy drops. Considering he is required in this week’s questline, most players will be stymied at that point as most are right now while waiting to get Locutus. I have ZERO problem with premium players having a huge advantage in the game as that’s what they pay for in making the choice to purchase characters/buildings that are made available to everyone. I have a HUGE problem with designing tasks/challenges that aren’t able to be reasonably achieved by everyone due to the weighted demands within the challenge. In past events, the multiple-collection challenges relied less on skill/luck and more on patience and persistent game play. I thought this was “quest for stuff” not “keep my fingers crossed and hope that energy drops and then hope that my game remains stable so I can shoot this moving target twice and then pray to the space gods that it drops a condom”.

I’m a completionist for characters and costumes but but buildings. If there isn’t enough room why waste the money?
I also find that the rooms are a waste of money. Typically by the time I’ve collected all the rest of the stuff I need so few of the rare items that it’s cheaper to just pay and unlock the character than to have bought the building.

Not to be a pain but maybe I’m misunderstanding something. While I was collecting items for Lois and Quagmire I still was trying to get Herbert from Cespoolus. This morning Herbert disappears from the list. I got Lois unlocked this afternoon, still working on Quagmire, and I still don’t have Herbert listed. I thought that the character disappears if you already unlocked them and was trying to craft more than one. Sorry for taking up your time but I just need clarification. Thanks Bunny!

No one was being created at that time. I created Lois a few hours later but this happened before I had all of the felicium for her. Lois is now on tasks, no one is being created, and Hebert still isn’t showing up. I’ve sent Peter and Chris on numerous trips trying to get him. I’ll just give up on him and concentrate on unlocking Crusher and Quagmire. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks again for this wonderful information and walkthrough.
I’m in the process of unlocking Beverly Crusher and I’m using Troi to collect Hypospray from Borgs.
Yesterday I received at least 3 hyposprays from the borgs whole day but today I received none from it besides some ores as I use Troi repeatedly and I don’t have Worf.
I hope this is not a glitch as the requirement for the spray is immense.

They will not ALWAYS drop. They are a chance, so you may not see them all the time but as you experienced… they will drop.

Yep, similar here. I’m going to take a wild guess that we may need to complete the ‘A Ship Without Picard’ quest for these drops to work correctly, in addition to having warp core level 4, sick bay unlocked, etc.

No App Store updates available, currently on 1.7.5, have the option to get Q (Q1 That’s Who! Pt.1 is in the task list), but no option for Klingon Meg and no exclamation marks over Peter. Have force-closed game and powered iPad off and on. Pointers and felicium still not dropping in phaser battles.
Not worried about the lack of Klingon Meg but I would like to see improved drops asap. I have 7 quests in the task bar and only as far as A Ship without Picard Pt.8, is that what’s stopping my update? Or have they pulled this update due to the glitch with the Peterships? Is Peter currently on a task? Some are stating that until he completes his current task, the ! did not show to trigger it. Let us know.
Once you finish A Ship Without Picard, that will take you into the new Phase 4 questlines.

Peter has cycled through at least 4-5 tasks now and still no sign of Kingon Meg, the offer just hasn’t popped up. I’m still trying to unlock Lois and Locutus but am doing quite well with Crusher and Quagmire, although not doing any phaser battles until I see an update now from you guys to say it’s all fixed.
From reading all the comments it seems no one else is missing Meg and everyone is getting Locutus and Lois unlocked now. Getting further behind is pretty disheartening 😦

I’m pretty ashamed of tinyco for the 24hr timelimit. I may have money before end of event for Q but not now. All a timelimit does is create a false sense of urgency. Its a sales tactic that is dirty and sadly works. Id like to think better of them 😦

I’m going to try and keep it balanced here, since I know how heated this event has had people.
Negative first (sorry!): I’m irritated that you have to buy 3 premium characters in order to get Meg. I’m not a Star Trek fan. I’m not anti-Trek, I just never got into that fandom. So all these premium characters? They mean nothing to me. I play a Family Guy game, and for me to have to spend clams/real money on characters I don’t care about to get a skin for a character I do care about leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I suppose that’s typical for Meg though – always getting the short end of the stick. I’ll regret not getting her, but they’re asking too much for her.
Positive (ish): I was trying to do the math on Vulcan Quagmire yesterday, and I think I calculated that the space condoms are worth 5 clams a piece. With 42 needed, you could buy all of them (once you’ve collected the other items) for 210 clams. On the other hand, the new Q character only (only! she says) costs 200 clams, and has a guaranteed drop for the space condoms. I don’t know how long the “guaranteed drop” task takes, but it made me think about purchasing the character since my transporter drops are still so low and the only other way of getting them is a 100 clam trip that doesn’t guarantee you’ll get any.
Hopefully that math may help someone else.

Looks like TinyCo just completely fixed the event! Great to see always drops from premium characters and the petercraft, I was thinking more common/uncommon, but heck I’ll take always haha.
I think There have been changes on FaceSpace too. Klingon Meg used to be part of ‘trekkie griffins’ and now she isnt. Also Worf and Guinan are no longer by ‘other characters’ and neither is Q.
Wonder if that means there will be a new premium group. (Hope so, more free clams haha)
Only things that still annnoy me is, 1) how unlucky I am being with Herbert, I just cant seem to get him 😦
And 2) as far as I know only 1 romulan symbol available, I wanted 2 of each for when I put them in Quahog.
But hey this event just turned from good ideas and terrible execution to a good event all round. The 352 questlines arent even bothering me 😛

It looks like I got 10 clams also for getting Klingon Meg or maybe it was for getting Q. Well whatever the case I was at 520 clams before I got Q and noticed later after I got Klingon Meg that I had 330 clams. Well hopefully Wesley will come next week. I guess it makes sense because his mom is probably part of his questline and it would have been difficult for people that have not unlocked her yet to use her during his questline. So now that we have Q can we get A also so we can have Q & A? 😉 I guess we can say that Q is a condomed man now. I guess it is a bit ironic that Q doesn’t drop any Q-tips, although I am sure he will give many tips throughout the rest of the event. 🙂

Couldn’t have finished the character combo of Griffin Trekkies if I still need Talosian Stewie for that and it would have been 25 clams. I now think it was because I hit Starfleet Level 10. It also looks like my xp bar is still moving after that when in other events once I hit level 10 my xp is maxed. I wonder how many Starfleet levels there are total. I am guessing probably around 12.

My partner and I are actually also both pretty sure we got 10 clams at some point after buying Q and getting Meg. We both bought the other two during the week they were released. Neither of us is to star fleet level 10 yet, so it wasn’t that. We could be wrong, but we both thought we noticed something up with our clams and when we compared it seemed we both mysteriously got 10 clams.

Has anyone confirmed this 10 clam bonus for reaching Starfleet level 10? I’m currently level 8 and together with the potential FaceSpace clams this might just make up the difference for whether or not I can afford Q by the end of the event.

Thank you both bunny and Tinyco for the update. Now for the first time in 2 weeks it finally feels like I’ll be able to catch up.
Now my only issues is the length of actions for some of the quests. Deanna and Chris have been doing quests for the past 3 days solid due to all the 12+ hour quest actions which prevent me from using them too get the items I actually need. Also they really need more characters helping out this event collecting stuff. But with increased drop rates now these issues aren’t as major. Still doubt going to spend any clams though

Are they going to make her costume available in the future separate from this offer. I’d rather not spend 600 clams for this bonus and would rather work on it like the other costumes. At the very least remove it from the 50 clam costume set in facespace.

Here is the issue I have and maybe you can help. It has now been 2 weeks since I bought clams and have not gotten credit for them. I have in game emailed tinyco numerous times. They responded once a week ago to ask for copy of receipt which I sent them. Now there is a 24hr timer to get Meg free and I am short the clams to get Q. Is there something on your end you can do? I really want Meg-i know not a phase that is normally said.

Message them again. When it comes to a personal game issue like this, it is not our place to get involved. Sorry. It has to be done legally on their side. Think of it as you asking me to talk to your bank for an issue with your checking account. Not a good idea. 😉
Try like I said and message them again and see what happens.

Very disappointed that Klingon Meg is only available by spending a ton of clams. Thought I would at least be able to complete the ST Griffins by the end of the event but clearly not. Just unlocked the next warp core level but still trawling through unlocking Locutus and Starfleet Louis and now have Crusher and Vulcan Glen to work on. For the first time in a year, I am beginning to tire of the game mainly because of the massive shift of focus on to clams. I can see that this ST event is a great opportunity for TinyCo to make money from the fans who have started playing because of it and I can’t begrudge them that… I am just getting a bit tired of this event already.

They changed the combo so you do not need her to complete it. That way players can still complete the collection just fine. 😉

Lol so yesterday I bought that Vulcan planet cos I really why Vulcan quagmire & it increased my chances to get the condoms. Then suddenly q (who I also bought just now) can also get them XD I wouldn’t’ve bothered with the planet if I’d known 😦 I’ve not used it yet as I had to send geordi on a mission to a different one so I guess I’ll try needing them, but they’ve not replied to any of my queries thus far thus event. It’s a shame because everything is awesome except the lack of response, which is normally good. I’m still holding it for Wesley though, I was sure we’d get him with his mum in Sick Bay lol.

They won’t tell you what is coming up in the game. So to ask would not help at all. They rarely give “Spoilers” to the game out.

You referenced an inquiry to them, I assumed you meant to find out if something better than the planet was coming in the future as the way you formed the info. That is why I said no spoilers given for future content.
I think I get what you are asking now. If you make a purchase, but want it taken back later as something else you found better came along… I do not think they will refund you if that is what you are asking.

I know I am in minority but I feel, other than quagmire costume, things are starting to come together. Crusher seems to be a decent chance to unlock this week, and with that, helps me better to unlock Locutus and Lois costume from last week (which i originally thought about giving up on). I still think with few weeks left, I may at least get characters i want.
This is first event I did spend on some clams. I had to get Q. I hate to use this dumb phrase but he was truly a frenemy of next generation cast lol.

So, that’s 660 clams to get kilgon meg. Looks like this meg skin is not gonna be in my inventory. Oh well at least I got hot meg, much better to look at. LOL.
