Phase 4 is now live and running in our games. Just like unlocking Districts, this Event has us unlocking Enteprise “Districts” and causing us all flashbacks of those dreaded Eyeballs and Headbands. Definitely one of the more Challenging Events to say the least. Even for the Seasoned Players. So, once again, bouncing on in here because I want to know where YOU are in the game?
Below are some VERY specific questions I would like the answers to. PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. NOTHING MORE! (Anything beyond what is asked will be moderated/deleted, so please stick to the questions/answers only. No ad-libbing 😉 )

I am very diligent with everything. I’m on a lot. Around 18 hours of 24. Sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 20. I bought with some of my hoarded clams 2 100clam buildings and that is the ONLY reason I have gotten to the point I have. I feel like a sitting duck to be honest

So here’s the messed up part, before it was from blowing up the regular petercraft. Now they’ve changed it alright, to having to waste two crystals on the shielded petercraft which still doesn’t guarantee a payoff. So it appears they’ve screwed us further after APPEARING to be listening and making it easier. This event was designed so we can’t use any of the tricks and grinding. They are listening alright, and its just another game we can’t enjoy anymore.

1.) Yes. Unlocked 4 days after phase 3 launch. I think due to drop rate changes-got her within a day after finally getting chris and sending him and worf on 3 successful transporter missions for chocolate bars-which I know was a headache for many!
2.) No locutus yet. collected all materials except laser pointers 20/35 currently. Probably collected 10 each from quagmire and petercraft-these are the only quests I send quagmire on and I play constantly so he probably gets sent on this task 4-5x day. Petercraft Id say 1 of 4 trips nets me a laser. I use 4-6 phaser energies daily on phaser battles.
3.) 8–I’ve used 20 in last 72 hours trying to get herbert!
4.) Drop rate about the same? Im not sure as I’ve mainly collected mine via room swapping/rebuilding (I will take guaranteed drops over chance drops every time! Haven’t sent characters enough to notice a difference.
5.) No.
6.) Yes/even if it means a 24 hour trip for 3-4 characters at once its a guarantee instead of a waste of time. Still trying for Herbert.
7.) 6.5. Progression to level 2 was probably due to the taco truck glitch-i bought 5. the rest of it has chugged along at I believe tinycos intended pace; I reached phase 2 a day after release. Phase 3 morning after and phase 4 only an hour after. Getting better….
8.) On small petercraft i’d say 40% of the time I get a laser or some felicium. That’s probably a fair number but I wish their payout was better (like the 10 batteries payout) instead of one at a time for 25 and 35 count item requirements; I haven’t shot at shielded petercraft yet as my p.e. is too low to waste on it.
9.) Only 2. I earn 4-6 daily and burn thru them all at once everyday b/c its more fun instead of 2 shots and done.
10.) From room swapping and rebuilding. Again I will take the guarantee vs a randomization every single time. I have sent characters on the task mainly when I go to bed and more often than not; abt 80% of the time, they come back empty handed. If its going to be so rare a payout on a time sensitiveevent, reduce-not eliminate- the build and wait times.
11.) In regards to the amount of p.e. needed to complete the quest for stuff we want-yes-because not nearly enough characters have tasks to earn p.e!
12.) No. Don’t have enough p.e. to waste when I have items for previous characters to unlock ( felicium and lasers)

14.) No. I haven’t experienced this issue.
15.) Yes I have purchased both.
16.) Absolutely. A paid character/item should always drop-that’s why we paid for them-we expect an advantage!

18.)i feel a grade of C is appropriate because I haven’t been impressed with drop rates and benefits of premium purchases. Game play and dialogue is fun but also feel there are too many 12+ hour tasks. Remember how many 24 hour trips klingon chris took?

5- They never really seem to make a difference. I get a lot of crystals
6a- Yes, and they can even extend the time of the trip and the amount of transport energy needed if it is a guaranteed drop. Oh, and take off the “awesome”, because after 5 trips and nothing but crystals, it is a taunt! *chuckle*
6b – laser scalpel – I am not going to bother with the condoms or vulcan quagmire. I can’t get anything on the phaser game, and it is not worth the headache or transporter energy.
7 – starfleet 6, almost to 7
8- 48 shots, 1 condom and crystals
9- 3 phaser energies
10 – I wasted a bunch of clams to buy some to get the stuff for the last section, and the weapons locker and characters when they are not needed for other quests or materials

12- I tried to get them with every one of my shots, and as I said, 48 shots, crystals and 1 condom.

14 – yes, it appears that way
15 – I finally purchased Worf to help out on killing borgs, as I could not seem to do enough with just Kroi.

18. B Minus – Working up to update 3 and unlocking The Bridge, I was frustrated between Troi and Klingon Chris. Working towards update 4 and unlocking Sick Bay I relaxed and just kept playing as an escape appreciating that this is a game bc Starfleet Lois and Locutus (even though I still don’t have him) was manageable in a week. Now that the Sick Bay is unlocked and Crusher needs 55 of 1 item alone, and Vulcan Quagmire has an item that potentially requires 100 clams for a chance at 5 items, my desire to be a completist is being tested and the “Quest for Stuff” is slightly overwhelming.

#1 – Finally unlocked Deanna after the Transporter drop rates increased, then got chocolate drops both of my next away trips.
#2 – Need lots of stuff for Locutus (clam cost is 326):
Duct tape-8/10, Riker’s pad and borg clearing
Batteries-27/40, Bonnie’s 1-hr task only, saving as much TE as possible
Scrap-10/10, regular drops
Laser Pointers-16/35, Mostly Quagmire, maybe 2 from phaser battle.
#3 – 11 TE
#4 – Definitely dropping more frequently. I also stopped room swapping after the build timer went to 10 hours.
#5 – Nice to see the odds change, but the odds are still pretty bad for freemium characters.
#6 – Would rather have a guaranteed payout based on different team choices.

The shielded ship is definitely needs a tweak to make it easier to hit twice in a row and to actually get a drop. Reducing the amount of items needed to unlock would be ideal or at least give you other options to get those items other than pay for a planet with a low success rate or a phaser game that needs definite improvements. 345 have about 20 transporter energy. im trying to get other characters and the chances are never good enough. Kinda waitin on Louis maybe she has better. Gettin plenty of batteries and a comparative amount of earpieces to waste. Not that they come quick.

1. I unlocked Deanna after the last poll, but the problem was chocolates so Chris/Riker didn’t affect the unlock.
2. 4 Laser Pointers short of unlocking Locutus. Quagmire has apparently given up on producing them, so the only ones I’ve gotten in the last couple days have been from PeterCraft.
3. 10 Transporter energy.
4. Drop rate may be slightly better(?), but I’m also no longer having to spend 6 on a single away mission (see Deanna & her chocolate).
5. I have no opinion on the % odds. …so “No”?
6a. Random payout has always been the most frustrating part of this game and on certain events on the “other” game. I’d prefer “rarer” items just be assigned to longer jobs/missions.

2) Laser Pointer 25/35 – Mostly from Quagmire. Phaser battles aren’t dropping 2/3 of the time (hitting Petercraft in the head), and half of the 1/3 are pointers.
3) 32 energy. Mostly from the clam building and switching rooms around and not actually using transporters (because everybody’s busy trying to do other things). Haven’t noticed any increase from random drops.
5) No. Have to use transporters at least 3 times to get what I need, which requires more transporter energy and taking people away from farming other things.

18) D. Really like the concept and the characters and actions and humor and voiceovers. But when the frustration of getting anywhere when genuinely trying makes me want to quit the game if this is how they’re going to do their cooler events, then all the pluses don’t matter.
