Phase 4 is now live and running in our games. Just like unlocking Districts, this Event has us unlocking Enteprise “Districts” and causing us all flashbacks of those dreaded Eyeballs and Headbands. Definitely one of the more Challenging Events to say the least. Even for the Seasoned Players. So, once again, bouncing on in here because I want to know where YOU are in the game?
Below are some VERY specific questions I would like the answers to. PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. NOTHING MORE! (Anything beyond what is asked will be moderated/deleted, so please stick to the questions/answers only. No ad-libbing 😉 )

Deanna Troi:
Question #1- For those that did not unlock her last poll, have you unlocked her now? If yes, did the new Chris and Riker drop % push you to get her? If not, have you checked the newer drop rate % from Chris and Riker?
Locutus:
Question #2- If you have not unlocked Locutus, how many of each do you have? (Please also add next to the number, WHERE you are getting the Material mostly from. Like Phaser Battles… etc)

Question #1 – I have unlocked her. But I didn’t noticed that the drops changed. It was not transparent enough.
ALTERNATE Question #2- It was difficult, but I did not use clams to unlock him.
Question #3- How many do you have currently?
Question #4- I have 51 blue energy. But I don’t think so. They aren’t transparent on the drops, I get some very rare items easier than rare items.

Question #6 (again?)- I am eager to get phaser energy. But since they aren’t so frequently, I’m more reliant to assign 3 characters on phaser energy drop tasks. The payout is more convinceable.

Question #8- I don’t think it is paying off at all. Saving energy to kill super petercrafts, which I think it is 80%.
Question #9- 0 phaser energy. Used all my pairs (which was not that much anyway)
Question #10- Rooms, academy and character tasks (in this order.)

Q3: 92 (going to start transporter grind for Vulcan Quagmire)
Q4: Dropping faster; rooms and characters
Q5: Previous to Phase 4, % was better. Tried two trips to Planet Vulcan and got nothing but crystals.
Q6: Not currently using transporter. Was disappointed at drop %, so tried character, rooms, phaser battles for Quagmire items. Thinking I might have better luck in transporter.

Q16: No, wishing some timed quests for items was shorter(like Q and the mariachi band), tho I did have good luck with Dr. Crusher rare items(having trouble with her uncommon items). Also wishing there were more opportunities to get Vulcan Quagmire items from characters.
Q17: Working on Enterprise quest with Riker as Captain, Starfleet Lois Quest, Edo Herbert quest(got him on fourth try!), Klingon Chris and Meg quests, and Q quest.

My starfleet level dropped again. I was 1 bar away from level 6 last night and now I’m only halfway through level 5. This event is absolutly awful.

A little late to the thread, but here goes…
Q1 – I had Troi unlocked at the last poll.
Q2 – Locutus unlocked. Did not use clams. Got most of the pointers from phaser battles right before the last warp core upgrade.
Q3 – Currently have 116 phaser energy banked.
Q4 – Drop rates have improved.
Q5 – The % odds on transporter trips are too low to use for gathering material reliably. The only time I am using the trips is for a specific item or for a quest completion job.
Q6 – Just used transporter for a quest job with Geordie. Still don’t have herbert’s outfit after several tries, but I have everything else from the free planets.
Q7 – Currently SF Level 7, but I should be at 8 within a few hours at most. Just a sliver of the last bar left.
Q8 – Phaser battle payout from the small petercraft was horrible for the whole week until they fixed the drop rate. I’m not even shooting at it anymore. Just the shielded one for condoms now.
Q9 – Currently 6 phaser energy. Currently the hardest to get for me. (go figure…)
Q10 – Getting phaser energy from rooms (non-premium) and running jobs when I can with any characters not currently completing quest jobs. slow going. 😦
Q11 – Phaser energy is currently the biggest PITS to collect.
Q12 – I have hit the shielded petercraft about 5x now and it dropped a condom every time. Nothing more besides XP/crystal
Q13 – Hit the shielded petercraft successfully about 5/8 tries.
Q14 – I have not noticed if the asteroids interfere with a direct hit. Will watch out for that in the future.
Q15 – Both Worf & Guinan purchased (and Q/Meg)
Q16 – YES I wish they had always drops!!!!
Q17 – Currently working on “the road to recovery Pt. 5”
Q18 – I would have to break my grade down into parts.
1 – Content is amazing! Lots of stuff everywhere, and new stuff every week. A+
2 – The quests are lots of fun to keep up with although the pacing is sporadic. Too much at times, and not enough at others. B
3 – The drop rates to unlock the characters are horrible. C
With so much else to spend clams on, it’s really a bummer that they can’t make these more of a “gimmie” as long as you put in the work. I’ve been working my A$$ off trying to get just the new people & skins. Can’t afford any of the buildings/decos/gift boxes at all.
Overall, I would grade the event a B. If the drop rates weren’t so bad, it would have a solid A.

Edit – Just made SF Level 8 from XP in phaser battles. Went 3/4 for the shielded petercraft with 8 phaser energy. Now I have to wait for it to build again.

Q1 – I unlocked Deanna just before the update for the following week.
Q2 – I unlocked locus today I got the duct tape and scrap metal pretty easily. The batteries mainly from Bonnie’s task and those darn laser pointers I’d say a proportionate combination of quagmire and phaser battles. I paid 10 clams for the last one needed to unlock him.
Q3 – 36 (but not been going anywhere recently)
Q4 – not noticed if they drop better but they are stacking up as I don’t need as many to travel and don’t do as much traveling it was getting the chocolate that was a killer!
Q5 – NO
Q6 – YES
Q7 – just on level 7
Q8 – not sure but it’s not 100% maybe was 60%
Q9 – 0 (I use them as I get them)
Q10 – rooms as characters are taken away on quest lines.
Q11 – it’s quite difficult to obtain, you need a lot of it especially as you have to hit the new petercraft twice and characters are taken away from getting them with questlines.
Q12 – yes I only realised you had to hit it twice on the same screen after about 5 wasted phaser energies – doh! I hit it once and got a condom so 100% so far lol
Q13 – 1/1 when I realised what you had to do. (I don’t think it was explained clearly if at all in game it’s only because of your fantastic website I knew).
Q14 – YES!!!! That’s so annoying!
Q15 – I purchased all of them and I have a bit of guilt but oh well I got iTunes cards for Xmas! I don’t usually buy all the premium characters and had only planned to buy worf but I wanted Klingon Meg I thought it was a bit unfair how they did that deal but oh well they conned me good! Lol
Q16 – YES
Q17 – the road to recovery part 2 and Q that’s who part 1
Q18 – C – meh it’s a good theme but I feel it’s a struggle to keep with the pace of the upgrades (whether they intend you to be up to date or not it feels like you should have the characters unlocked questlines done etc. before the next update).

5- No, and it is very annoying that you need characters that haven’t been unlocked yet to improve the odds.
6a- Yes. I wouldn’t mind if you got a payout depending on how many characters you send – 10 batteries for 4 characters send, 5 for just 2 characters sent
6b- None. The odds are just too low and you have to take too many characters away from other tasks

8- It was about 30-40%, today seems a little better

11- It is difficult, but compared to other drop rates not terrible
12 & 13 – So far I have failed to shoot the Shielded Peter Craft twice. This is just not something I am good at, that’s why I play games like this instead of arcade games.

16- Yes, since starting my new job, I don’t have time to login as often, so I don’t mind spending some clams on the game. But the premium characters and to some extent the buildings just don’t seem to be helping that much. What good is always drop on the phaser energy if you have to then use it to shoot something (not easy with my terrible hand-eye coordination) which then may or may not drop the item you need.
17- A Ship Without Picard Part 5 – why are they doing all of these side quests? With the low drop rates who has time this event to send Klingon Chris off to write love poems?
18- A+ for content and interesting set up – I love the characters (and what they say), the Enterprise area, the transporter and even the phaser battle is a good variation on regular game play. But a D for actual playability. There was one stretch when I went about 2 days and only got one Felicium and it gets frustrating when you feel you aren’t making progress. This is also the first event where I feel that you are not getting good value for your clams. For example, spending 35 clams on 3 phaser energy doesn’t make sense to me, IF you get 3 hits on the Peter craft, you likely will get only one item to drop, and it may not even be the one you really need at the moment.

Too many things are too rare to drop and everything to help costs too many clams. For an event that got a TV spot to help promote the game it us very dissapointing. I’m considering stop playing this game bc the event is too difficult.

Question #10 – Mostly from the Weapons Locker since I can’t really use characters because of items they need to get for a character or costume, or if I need the characters for the main quest line or side quests.

Question #12 – Yes. After the recent update Friday Night, I have been able to get 1 drop every time I’ve been able to blow up a shielded petercraft. But I think they should have the shielded petercraft drop between 2-3 space condoms since I didn’t know to hit the petercraft before it leaves the screen.
Question #13 – I don’t know the exact value but it does seem like it leaves the screen at a very fast rate or it stays on the side most of the time where it’s difficult to try and shoot it down.
Question #14 – I’m not sure now when the recent update but I know before that I would get credit for the asteroid and not the ship.
Question #15 – None.
Question #16 – (Too late to answer but) Yes.
Question #18 – C. When the event started out, it seemed like Phase 1 was really easy to get the items I needed and the characters without and worrying or rush. Ever since Deanna Troy/Chocolates and the chances for the Transporter Energy and Phaser Energy, it just seems that it’s gone downhill. It’s nice that they make the changes but a week or two after the fact? If they notice an issue, they should notice a day or two after they release the phase, just like if they were playing from our own aspects. Unless the event gets better with the items for current and future characters/costumes, I’m sticking with a C grade.

18) I’d give it a B. It’s not without its flaws, the drop rates and requirements are quite difficult, but all in all it is entertaining.

C- Characters are harder to get than previous events mostly because their items they need are high and only one or two characters can get it other than that I like the concept of the event I like the mini games and the characters/costumes although I do think Beverly, Vulcan Quagmire and Stewies costume I won’t get but I’m not giving up data I’ll spend clams to unlock him he is one of my favourites, sorry about this long text.

Question #1: yes I unlocked her using some clams during the last phase. The drop rate was so slow and I did not want to get too far behind.
Question #2: yes I again used SOME clams to unlock him. Drop rate for the Pointers was slow and limited. I used Quag and tried to shoot the Peter-ship as offeren as I could. I had everything but needed 10 more Pointers.

Question #5: don’t much care for it because it takes so long to get the energy needed to go, and my peeps are busy doing other things.

Question #18: I give it a C at best. I’m pretty new to the game 2 months in. I find this event frustrating because it requires too many items to unlock things and the drop rate is very slow. I always feel I’m at least a week behind. I want to have my character(s) unlocked before the next phase starts. Thus far the only way for me to do so, is to use the very-very expensive clams. If I don’t do this, I will get even further behind. I play to have fun! I don’t play a game to be stressing over if I will have everything I need before the next phase. I LOVE the game, just not this event.

1. I just unlocked Troi. The struggle for me was not Chris & Riker, but the chocolate bars.
2. I have not unlocked Locutus yet. I have 1 duct tape,1 battery, 8 scrap metal, 4 laser pointers. Most I have gotten from Quahog folk (I have gotten some laser pointers from shooting the ship and asteroids.
3. I have 11 transporter energy (didn’t realize I had that many now!)

2. Still trying to collect the laser pointers, which I need about 15. I’ve been using Glenn for that, but it’s been slow. The battles aren’t very giving in this matter either, as the loot drop from there has been very slow.

2. I have everything except 8 laser pointers. Until the update, it was about half and half between Quagmire and the Petercraft. After update, I didn’t understand at first about shielded Petercraft, so I wasted energy and haven’t gotten any since.

4. Seems to be better drop%. I bought premium building that drops them, so that helps, but I think drops improved on top of that.
5. I don’t have a good read on the odds. I’ve taken 5-6 trips total. Saving trips for when characters are free so odds are highest.

18- C-, only because I love Star Trek and the quests are funny. I feel like they’re trying to avoid the players getting upset when new phases aren’t ready as promised (this personally didn’t bother me very much, but I can see how others might be) and they made progress super sloooooow on characters (but on only one item), plus added a lot of quests that require 24 hour tasks. The writing for this is really very good, the character dialog lately (this includes V/Day as well) has been hilarious, but the rate of progress feels purposely hindered. I’d have no problem collecting 100 of an item if there were five or six characters who would drop them half the time on 8 hour tasks, but collecting about 4 phaser shots a day and then spending three days to get 1 of an item is frustrating. Good news is that the problems with this event can be fixed pretty easily and the creative parts of it have been spot-on A+.

1- I unlocked her a couple of days before the update, not easily. Honestly haven’t noticed any diff w Chris and Riker.
2- Deep Breath…. ATM I STILL need 16 pointers! Had everything else for 2 days now. I have only gotten them from Quagmire…maybe 2 from shooting.
3- Atm I have 8. That is only because I haven’t spent any on anything in days. I have gotten most of those today so I guess the drop is better,but we are talking about 6 hr tasks, so not much better.
4- I am not happy with the % at all. Has been dismal for me overall.

I have troi. I’m 18 laser pointers and 3 batteries away from locutus. I’m an hourly player. Petercraft drops about 50%. I do ok on TE bc I doubled up the rooms for it and spammed Peter and mort. There’s not enough phaser energy especially now that we have space condoms to worry about. Im on ship without Picard 7 and I’m working solely on characters and main quest. I’m doubling the correct rooms and being very efficient. I totally would have bought both premium characters had they been always drops. In all fairness I rate the event B-.

1.)Yes- I have Deanna.
2.) No- I do not have Locutus. I need 24 more Laser Pointers. I am getting these mainly from destroying the Peter Craft.
3.) I have 28 Transporter Energy. (I bought the Starfleet Research Facility.)
4.) The drop rates for the Energy have improved drastically.
5.) I do not like the current % odds for the Transporter Trips.
6.) I want Herbert and the 3 Phaser Energy.
7.) I am currently Starfleet Level 6 (a little over half way.)
8.) The % of item drop from the Peter Craft is ok. (About 50%ish) Could be better but no major complaints.
9.) Currently I have 0 Phaser Energy. The most I have had at once is 7.
10.) I am getting my Phaser Energy from both Characters and Rooms. I have two Weapon Lockers. Along with these, I’m constantly sending Guinan and Geordi on their 6 hour tasks (Chris is busy with Felicium and Deanna is clearing Borgs.)
11.) No. Phaser Energy is not hard to get, but hard to get a lot. (drop rates are fine but they take a long time to save up.)
12.) I have not tried the Shielded Peter Craft yet. I am still working on Lois and Locutus.

14.) No. I do not notice the Asteroids “voiding out” the Peter Craft.
15.) I bought Guinan.
16.) Yes. Their materials should certainly be “Always Drop” because they are Premium and acquired with real money.
17.) I am on “A Ship Without Picard Part 8”. I am stuck on Locutus.
18.) Final Grade: Low B- or High C+. While the event is amazing with creativity and content, the extreme amounts of items needed and the weak drop rates in most situations make it seem like a call of money. While I understand that the Company needs money, this is a new level for Tiny Co. They need to make more events like Halloween. The Halloween event was perfect for both Freemium and Premium. I will never erase this game because of bad drops or excruciating amounts of items, but making it a little easier might be more beneficial for everybody in the long run.

1) Got Troi just before Sick Bay unlocked. everything was mostly collected, I only needed to get the Chocolate which took more trips that I would have liked.

18) Honestly C-. Usually I eye roll when i see people complain that as freemium that the odds are against them, but I’ve already spent about 800 clams on this event and it’s only because a few of the buildings with guaranteed drops do I feel that I’m even close to being on task. It just feels like the level of difficulty was purposely increased for this event, and quite frankly, this amount of difficulty is not what I look for in these types of games, and why I gave up on a few of them. Yes make us work to get the items needed but limiting a rare item you require a lot of to what for many will be a single task is almost the same as telling people they might as well spend money, a message that up to this point I never felt TinyCo was pushing with this game. I’ll gladly pay for extra content if offer and I feel I want, but to set things up where many will feel they either need to pay or might as well quit…. that’s how you lose your customer base.

6) Yes because the transporter energy drops are already random. I haven’t been using the transporter because I’m trying to gain other items/characters.

18) D. I don’t understand the thinking behind setting a random drop for phaser energy and transporter energy only to encounter random drops for stuff (like the Space condoms).
