PHASER BATTLES
A new Craft has joined in the Phaser Battling fun, the Romulan Warbird. They will phase in n out (on screen about 5 seconds), so you gotta shoot them while you can. It is easiest to tap right on the CENTER of one the moment it appears. It will only take ONE shot to destroy it and get a Microchip (along with some possible Dilithium Crystals & XP)
Side Note: it ALSO drops Condoms for Vulcan Quagmire… so GO FOR THE BIRD. BIRD IS THE WORD!! Lol
(I do not see them anymore on the Shielded PeterCraft or Warbird in some games, waiting for verification… my suggestion is to HOLD OFF right now if it is not working properly for you)
UPDATE 4/17: If you are in Week 4, you will still see the PeterCraft. If you are in Week 5, you will now see just the Warbird, but it should now still drop Condoms to help you still get Vulcan Quagmire or Emotion Chips.
If you are updated, but still need Laser Pointers… send them an in game support ticket right away please.
A reader noted that if they shot an Asteroid too with the Warship, it helped dropped both items. As I have Quagmire, I am unable to confirm it. Try it if you’d like.
NEW BOSS TO BATTLE- BORG BERTRAM
Over by the Holodeck you will notice the New Robotic Character ready to do Battle. It happens to be Bertram. So just how do you defeat him? (We will go into a LOT more detail on this in another post too.)
Once you tap on him, you will start the first 24hr clock for Battle. You will have 24hrs to defeat his Heart Level and Send him into “time out” to get Dark Matter Payouts.

If you can defeat him within the 24 hr timer, he will Cool Down and reawaken in the Next Level Up Form with better payouts. (Drill Master Borg/ Laser Borg Bertram)
If you do not defeat him within th e24 hr timer, he will Cool Down and reawakend at the lowest Battle Level (Clawed Borg Bertram)
You can see your progress on the Heart Meter as you battle him. 
Side Note: As with the Yeti Battles from Christmas, only tap ONE Character to complete the battle when you are down to the last few. This will allow all the other Characters you are using to keep battling him on Cool Down, but you MUST have them start the battle BEFORE he starts the Cool Down. By doing this, you will save 4 hrs of battling time as once he’s done cooling down you restart his next fight you will have Characters ready to tap and attack right away. Just do NOT tap the Check Marks til you start him up again. 🙂
TRIBBLES NO MORE ?
Double checking to make sure, but it looks like this Phase 5 is when the Tribbles finally stopped. I have to say I am grateful they stayed as long as they did as originally they were set to end in Phase 1. So all that extra time with them was a bonus.
Good News… they seem to be squeekin back on board again. Longer spawn time, less of them… but some are showing back round the Enterprise. So take a look and see if they’re there for you too.

The drop rate for microchips seems considerably higher than condoms. Its nice that we no longer need two shots, but could you increase the rate on condoms. Or i guess i gotta get the chips first. Great job w the hypospray, almost there.

In my experience from saving up 80 phaser energy and then collecting all of both items in an extended session, the ratio of chips to condoms was around 2:1, however once you have 25 chips, the condoms then drop every time until you’ve got 42.

I got the offer for 9.99,and i din’t get the dark matter, i just got the clams.
I was going to get Picard and no dark matter.. I sent a message to Tinyco and no answer yet 😦

First off, did you get the dialog from Peter then the pop up for the offer with the 3 day timer? Then when you completed the offer, did you get the 2nd pop up with the dialog finishing up the offer and telling you about the reward?

I have not been able to get into the game since 3:00. Never gets past the loading screen. I’ve uninstalled and restarted and every other thing I can think of. When I reinstalled the game it would load okay as a new game but once you try to sign in it crashes again. Plenty of memory, good wifi signal, nothing else running. I’ve reported it to Tiny Co. so now I’m just sitting here frustrated. By the way, it’s happening on both my S5 and my iPad. And I the only one dealing with this?

Just wanted to comment that i DID spawn tribbles recently! Seems to be the normal tribbles we started with. I think four of them spawned.
Also a glitch i noticed, is for the room that gives hyposprays. I noticed it gives tolosin stewies clothes too, but i thought it was not giving me hyposprays anymore. It is, however the picture it shows as its collected is coming out as the item for Stewie, but my count goes up for both items. Which is great since i need 5 more hyposprays.

So I was alll set to buy some clams to get Nimoy and get dark matter. And there’s Consuela telling me there’s a problem. Checked with TinyCo and they said it was an Apple server issue. Sure enough I tried to download a random free app and nothing. Checked online and it looks like lots of reports of issues especially in the North East. Ugh! I hardly ever make in app purchases and the one time I want to no dice. Damn you Apple! Maybe I should just call it a night. Crossing my fingers that everything is good tomorrow.

Ok so I know there are less tribbles now (aww sigh) and I liked the occasional clam I’d get but here is my dilemma. I noticed that the Q missions have a timer now (only 3 hours left?? Wtf!) and I mentioned in an earlier post that I’m saving up just a few more clams to buy him. I’m 2 clams away now…if I get those in the next day or two and pick up Q, can I still get his questline after the timer runs out?

Because of the dark matter?
remembering the yeti event or event stay puffed guy you will have much more dark matter than needed, when you are able to beat his stages for some time.
The Problem i see is the amount of dilithium we need for him, data, stewie aso.
With lesser tribbles it will be harder.
But the new planets can drop 750 dilithium, so this may be the place to farm…

Bunny do you know how they handle it with translations? If they do it internal at tiny or if they outsource it to other countries or companies?
I would love to help them with this cause. Every now and then there are some really bad translations at things. Sometimes they got corrected after some time, but for example at jesus clam to water quest there still stands the phrase about his birthday cake. Or the second Bertram is called over here “Ausbilder Bertram” what means “Instructor Bertram”.
I think they got the drill part wrong.
And i don’t want send in a ticket for every single wrong translation. The support has other important things to do. (And i’m very slow at writing on my phone)
So is there a mail adress or website where you can send it in?

Hmmmmm… My suggestion, if you would like, attach a document and email it to us. I will forward it on to the proper people. I do not know how things are translated. It may be automatic through a system similar to Google. At times no matter what you do, those translations are all sorts of odd. Lol.
But email your thoughts, what you see, etc… and I will forward them. Just make sure you note in the email that is what it is for so I can keep an eye out on it. 😉

Wow!!! I thought it was challenging before, but now it’s all been amplituded up to 11. So many quests, so many materials, +Bertram. I’m loving it. (Tho I wish Bertram might b an actual character, as I imagine the final prize is a borg bertram).
Anyhoo, I’ve stopped room swapping, it seems pointless anymore as the drops seem decent enough. Any advice on how best to attack Bertram vs Data vs the replicator, etc?… or why nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition?

So I just noticed something. Tiny Co is either very bad at math or they really want to rip people off. I am hoping it’s just bad at math. I was adding up how much each item for unlocking data would cost (minus the things you get from the warbird because I have those.) Currently to click the unlock icon on my data would cost 1075 clams. However, if I chose to buy each item separately (the option it gives me at the bottom) it would only cost 148 for the floppies ( I need 37) @ 4 each. 96 clams for the cat food @ 6 clams each since I need 16. It would cost 150 for the anti virus since I need 25 of the 28 and they are 6 clams. Now that comes to 394 clams if individually bought each item. That’s a long way from 1075. I think the math got screwed up or something. Don’t you?

I forgot about the dilithium because I have well over 30K crystals. I already had checked that off as soon as it went live. The 1075 quote was after the crystals and the warbird drops. I just tested it and got him for 394 clams by buying it all seperately.

mind you I don’t really think Tinyco intended for Datas items to be so cheap. I think the 1075 quote I had was what they SHOULD have cost and something miscoded kinda like what happened with the taco trucks. But since you ladies already spend a LOT on these characters, I figured I would say something and maybe you could get in on the happy glitch before its noticed.

Id love to know why talosian stewie isnt in al’s shop. Also why whenever i get something towards him he shows up twice in the corner, it seems he was originally going to need much fewer items to unlock and was going to be in al’s.

They do that all the time. One icon loading for each item. So if you win 3… you watch 3 icons load. It’s silly like that. 😉

I noticed that, too. When I get one Cream, the Talosian Stewie Icon shows up twice (even though it is only one item), and one shows the actual progress – like 10 out of 18 – and the other one has a completed status bar.

It is showing 2 even if it is just one item you collected. It’s like a glitch kinda bc it shows a smaller stewie and a bigger stewie. It’s weird and I wish I could upload a picture here. I clicked one it sent me to al’s and the other sent me to the replicator.
Also the original buy out total was 1700+ clams for Data! I about died when I seen that. I believe that’s the highest I have personally seen for a character buy out, so far. This event has had few up there in clam buy outs actually

TinyCo have sped up the Petercraft. I may be behind, but it’s become impossible to hit one now. You now have to shoot before the target turns red to be able to hit. I’ve wasted more crystals missing than hitting, which sucks. Do you get objects shooting asteroids?
Also what do you have to do to get the Borg quest line started to unlock them? Me not able to go after them is majorly slowing my progress on unlocking characters, since that’s the only way to get items outside of shooting the crappy Petercraft.

Hmmmm that’s the lil one? Or sheilded? I usually do diagonally shots so I tap on the head tto target and if it misses head…the body is still right behind.
The Borgs will not appear until triggered by “An Endless Battle Part 1″ by Peter in Warp Core Level 3. Mine showed up after “Frame of Mind Part 8″

My husband wrote to tiny co about putting the tribbles back in after the newest warp core upgrade, and they responded by saying they would fix this. So hopefully we will still them roaming around. Please let me know if this is true for anyone who has upgraded. Am curios!

Really glad to see the tribbles back. I’ve been on target to earn enough clams to buy Q at the end of the event, until some of my clams mysteriously vanished today, putting him out of reach. Now the tribbles are back again, there’s still hope I can make up for the missing clams! Yay!

Well, I just had a weird experience. I finished the quest that was to return Locutus to Picard. Apparently Peter has been wandering about the Enterprise in the Captain’s uniform so long that everyone now believes he is Picard. Because the end quest scene had Quagmire telling Peter (with the title bar below him being “Jean Luc Picard”) that they have saved him from the Borg.

I think Kirk is a next week unlock. I think they showed him this week to let everyone plan to get him. Bertram doesn’t drop enough at current max level (10 dark matter. And I am assuming that even if you take the deal for 25 dm with the clams you still need to defeat him about 12 times at 10 dm).

Yeah, if you buy Picard with the dm from the clam deal. But if you take the 25 dm and then the 7 dm from the first take downs then you would only need to take Bertram down 12 more times at 10 dm to get the required dark matter.

I kinda hate that they dropped the number of life support thingys to unlock the holodeck. I actually bought the medical centre to Ill be able to collect enough…seems like a waste of money now…

Does anyone who didn’t buy a dilithum dropping building actually have a lot? The only way to really get it was with the tribbles, which now seem gone. All the buildings drop crazy low amounts of it and yet we need 8,000 for Picard, 4,000 for Data, 4,000 for Stewie, and then the crazy 15,000 for Kirk. It doesn’t seem like there’s going to be another way to earn and I know I shouldn’t stress out about it now. but the measly buildings and characters just don’t seem enough.
On a slightly more random note, does anyone now if trying to buy clams with a google play gift card would the money come directly from the card or would it try to take it from the account first? I’ve never bought anything through Google Play so I know nothing.

When you go to purchase anything from Google Play, there is a drop down option right by the payment. Select the one YOU want and make sure it is right before completing the payment.

Check some of the away missions. Some of them have a chance to pay out 500 crystals. They’re relatively low cost and you don’t need transporter energy for anything else right now.

I didn’t buy a building, but had enough for Picard and Data, with a little left over. But at the moment I doubt I will be able to earn another 15000… Let’s wait and see.

Okay, so we had to buy Spock. But the “part”” of the proceeds go to the foundation. Which I think is awesome. But it sucks that he was 65 clams more then everyone else!!!!!
Here’s the thing…. he helps with a bush of characters, including a lot that I have already unlocked and I’m behind inthis event. WHY WASN’T HE RELEASED EARLIER SO WE COULD ACTUALLY USE HIM EARLIER!!!!! Just saying
And I’ve kept my mouth shut through this entire event so fat but this really makes me upset.
I also hope that Bertram gives us a BUNCH!!!!! Of crystals as I have nothing and no other way of getting them and the drop amount for the rooms and characters are rediculously low you can’t do anything and the new character release in the replicator are rediculously high!!!!!!!

Worf was 260. Remember a lot of this was planned out MONTHS ago. Also, keep in mind they did add some things to Characters and drops last minute to help. So how could they have known months ago to program him that way? Not til the game is played out can the see changes needed and adapt. 😉

First off, what the deuce with no What The Deuce post today? 🙂 A few thoughts on the new stuff: — I unlocked the Holodeck after upgrading my Warpcore late last night, but have yet to see the “System Failure” questline launch. I’ve begun battling Bertram and hope I don’t regret doing so before prompted. — All of the sudden I noticed Worf’s “many hats” task isn’t showing an item drop. Just checked my Replicator and Talosian Stewie is gone (he’s not in Al Harrington’s or the store either). Eek!! — Am I the only one disappointed by how little help Spock is now? I *just* crafted Quagmire’s costume, and have Troi and Locutus, so I apparently spent all those clams just for help with Data’s disks. Why can’t he help with Bertram, or Dark Matter, or…anything? They released a lot of clam characters so far with this event, and they’re all seeming like one-hit wonders as far as usefulness. I’ve made peace with the likelihood they’ll rarely/never be helpful again, but for them to have such limited use during the event is sad. — I also didn’t see Kirk in the Replicator when I checked for Stewie just now.
Sorry for such a long post, I guess I’m making up for my period of silence lately. Thank you ladies for all the help and especially the listening!

They let everyone move on… but you still have to play out the questlines. So finish the ones for the Prior Phases to mover forward.
You kinda answered your own question on not seeing Costumes. You were making one. Quagmires. Once you tap “Create” all other costumes lock out to avoid that ugly glitch we had during comic con in Al’s. Only one costume at a time. Once you tap on the check mark to complete the creating of him… the costumes of others will return. 😉

There is a glitch in my game where Bowel Regulus has no drops. Every time you select the planet, the game crashes. This happens with no other planet. Is anyone else having this problem?

Is someone being “CREATED” in Al’s? If so, anytime a costume is being created others will lock out until it is done to prevent a glitch… see info under Klingon Meg below

I may be panicking prematurely, but I foresee a dilithium crystal shortage. 4000 crystals for Data, 4000 for Stewie, 8000 for Picard, 15000 for Kirk, and, who knows how many we will need for the rest of the event. With no more Tribbles, what do you recommend we do to achieve the needed number of crystals? If anyone has the answer, it’s the savants at FGA. Grazie!

Question, sorry if has been asked but only have a few minutes. Will have time to read posts later on tonite. So I noticed a timer on Q’s That Who Part 1Quest, set to expire in about 4 hrs. I didn’t have time to do all of his Part 1 tasks ’cause I previously had him non-stop focused on getting condoms. So wondering if get everyone started on Part 1 of the questline, before the 4 hrs expires, does the whole quest for Q still expire? Hope my question makes sense.

Players complain that they do not want Premium Character questlines flooding their menu as they do not want to buy the character. So they made it so they would time out within 24hrs if you did not buy a Character.

But I bought the character as soon as he became available. Why is his questline timing out? Usually its the time to purchase the character that times out not his quests. That doesn’t seem right.
If I purchased him as soon as they offered him, I should be able to do his quests. Right?
BTW, I could not believe the whole jerky dialogue when the event opened after us talking about it and how we were both thinking about beef jerkey yesterday. Lol. Did you know in advance?

I did not see this in any of the comments but I just killed the second form of Bertram and only got 2 dark matter not the 5 I was supposed to. Anyone else have this issue?

You mean your counts showed it only added 5? or did you only see 2 Icons? I ask as some icons say +3 +2 +5, etc.

I only got 2, my first kill gave me 2, my Second kill gave me 2 not 5, I checked my count in the replicator after the drops were collected and my total dark matter was 4 not 7. So it only gave me 2.

So the items for the new characters seem fairly sane this time, but what is with the dilithium crystal requirements? I’ve never had more than 2000 let alone 4000, 4000, 8000 and 15000! Was feeling better about this event leading up to this weeks section as I had managed to get caught up and unlocked the previous characters only a couple of hours after the new update.
It’s especially galling when the buildings and rooms give you 1 crystal every 2 hours. Oh and they have removed a source of crystals (tribbles) at the same time 😦

… It now pays only 2 Starfleet XP and 10 dilithium every 8 hours .. Still with chance of cat food drop 🙂

Sonic showers – can I confirm everyone else is seeing grey dresses for the Stewie skin (in the replicator) as a drop now? I read something about wrong item listed and a player asking for a refund because TinyCo confirmed room wasn’t dropping any items but I’m getting lost in the 400+ comments.

Everyone’s comments await moderation on our site (See Guidelines in Main Menu). As far as hours and hours, it is not very long they sit unless we do normal human things… like sleep and try to take a break. Even then… they are usual put up pretty quickly. 😉
We still push the comments and answer them regardless, in case you did NOT notice changes or additions to posts. We want to make sure you still got the information (of which the majority was here already by the time the comment posted, but people tend to skim or not read the full post.) 😉

For a time I had Peter crafts and the warbirds wasted 12 energy for no condoms, 😦 and I bought clams with Amazon coins so I could get Spock it charged my coins but I never got my clams. Love the game just frustrated today

I’m having a repeatable crash when I try to complete “Play Turbolift Tag” with Klingon Chris as part of From Boy To Klingon Pt 1. As soon as RIker pops up for the conversation (Chris is invisible), the game crashes.
I’m on an iphone. Other tasks complete fine.

I tried everything except re-installing the game. Nothing worked. In a flash of inspiration I logged in on an ipad, completed the task, and then went back to the phone.

Sorry, but I don’t know how to post a comment, so I’m doing here. I just did the Apr 17 update from the app store to my iPad. Since then, I’ve been completely shut out of the game. No matter what I try, ie hard shut down, re-install the game, etc. I get nothing. As soon as I get “play with head…” that’s where it shuts down back to its little icon. After the hard shut down, I did get the Crash FAQ White screen, so I was able to send a email to TinyCo, but so far all I’ve gotten is the auto response saying they’ll get back to me. Oddly enough, the game was working fine before the update – it was able to take my money for the latest clam purchase and everything!

Before you panic… hang in there. 😉
This is a HIGH Impact Memory Game. That means it needs a LOT of memory “wiggle room” on your device (like 3GB to be safe if not more). It needs a good, strong, solid WiFi signal. None of that up and down on the meters will do. It likes ALL the attention when running, so make sure any app on your device other than it are NOT running. Shut them all down. “Kill” the other apps.
So try this… Make sure every other app is completely shut down and not running on your device. Make MORE room in the memory of your device if you can. Then check your signal. Make sure it is strong as it can be. 😉

Let me put it this way… I have 16GB in the device, 64GB on an external. BUT… both are still being used by a ton of other things on my device. If the room starts to get a lil tight on the device itself (not external) I notice issues. If other apps are running, like FaceBook, twitter, the OTHER game we right on… it has issues. So just see if you notice anything else going on that would take that needed attention from the game and not let it load to your device.

Same issue here. Even re-installing the game following a hard reset of the device hasn’t helped. I’ve mailed the detals to Tinyco – hopefully the more reports they get, the better the chance they have of fixing it before the event expires! I missed out on several of the final xmas items/characters due to similar problems.
