I just went to send Geordie and Picard to go fight Bertram, and neither of them have it available in their lists of possible tasks?? I guess ZI am not supposed to keep wiping out Bertram!

Is Bertram on Cool Down? You can’t attack him on Cool Down or while the Characters are on another task. 😉

Oh, okay that makes sense, and yes, he is on cool down, but I thought I read that you should keep someone attacking him all the time, even when he is in cool down, for some sort of advantage, which is why I tried to send them, but I most likely misunderstood! Thanks, and have a lovely rest of the weekend!

Just got the tribble from planet vulcan today. WOOOOO!!!!! EXCITEMENT!!!! >o< But then I got a little disappointed (awww in my Stewie voice) when I realized that it does not walk around on the sidewalks. Im still very happy that I got it though because that's the main reason why I bought Planet Vulcan. Hopefully I can get the rest of the condoms I need now.

I uninstalled the game and lost everything!!! I thought i would be able to begin from where i left off. I’m so sad…everything was progressing so nicely too ,but I wasn’t able to purchase clams and I wanted them. V__V I’m forever sad….well, that’s one way to cure this addiction.

I fiddled around your website and found the thread detailing how to get to my saved account. I had just assumed that all was loss since it started from the beginning. Thank you for having this website with all the information! My addiction can continue to flourish! haha

If you are trying from an iOS device, try exiting game, log out of the Apple Market, restart device, log back into the App Market, then relaunch the game. At times you may run into a connection from the game from the market so getting it to resync might help. 😉

WTD!
Just failed to beat the third version of Betram (so spend 24 hours of game time) and failed because 3 x 3 characters only did 1 damage each for a total of nine (Guinan, Chris and Geordi).
Not only is that horrible randomness you don’t even get a partial reward for failing him. So pretty much everyone who is fighting him is going to have 1 whole day where all of your efforts are gone for nothing.
If you get to a version of him where you cannot even hope to kill him as you don’t have enough characters to do enough damage even if everyone hits there is no option to repeat the version you CAN feasibly beat, you have to let the overpowered verison time out (24 hours) then wait another 4 for him to reset back to the first version.
How are we meant to get enough dark matter to unlock the characters (as well as the dilithiums to also unlock them as Betram is meant to be the new source of large chunks of Dilithium.

I’m 7 Hyposprays from Crusher, 2 books away from Quagmire, and 4 sunscreens from Stewie with enough crystals to get all 3. I haven’t been this excited about this game in a while!
I’m guessing once I have those 3 my best strategy will be to throw Chris, Geordi, and Stewie on getting Dark matter 24/7 as Picard seems far easier to attain than Data at this point.

My WTD is there seems to be a glitch on your Open Thread! I do not have a link to reply! Could it be WordPress? IDK! Also, speaking of glitches, i was gonna post it on Open Thread but, you know! During my phaser battles when i first open it, i see the Shielded Peter and the Warbird but after shooting Warbird, the bird does not return a second time! Is this a problem or just the way it is?

Make sure you restart your device and are up to date. If it continues please let us know and report it. If you’re on Warp Core 5 you should only have Warbird and phase in n out every 5 to 10 secs (for me it did)

This event has sooo much going on all at once, I still like it, but trying to focus on one quest line or character at a time can be difficult. Thing that’s bothering me the most right now… back for the “day of the dead” mini event, I won Consueala’s day of the dead costume. Didn’t have her at the time, just got her on Friday, and i can’t find her costume anywhere!!! Really aggravating me, because I loved the skin! So sad! 😦

You won’t find her in Inventory. Only her rose (the item that makes her costume). It may be hidden in decos or an odd section. If still nothing contact them.

WTD am I meant to do with all this Life Support Energy I saved up XD I bought an extra Romulan Ale Bar, Hawt Tea & Latinum Loans but still have 84 XD Yet crystals are crazy hard to get even with killing Bertram. I have several extra buildings from the planets and all the premium chars are still struggling to get them… Feel sorry for the people without small advantage…

WTD WordPress? Why does the indent function of replies eventually make a trail of letters if it goes beyond 5 replies in a comment string? I enjoy puzzles like the next guy, but apparently my brain doesn’t cotton well to run on words in a string of letters. I think this function eventually got to the point that the written area was so thin that even letters were too wide and it became a long block of blank space.

I’m so far behind on this event I haven’t even entered the sick bay. Still trying to get locutus. I was also annoyed that I bought Worf just a couple of days before Spock was released, who I would have preferred.

My WTD:
– why never new actual city items (houses, trees etc), with never anything new except silly items that end up in storage?
– leveling up the game/characters means nothing so what’s the point? No clams or bonus for doing so….so much in storage now as a result!
– so many characters that do nothing after scrambling to get them!
– Bertram? Really? For freemium it’s impossible to get the highest battle!

Yesterday when I finally did something smart and replicated the Casket Ejector which boosted me to Levels 5 & 8, I unlocked the Holodeck, Data, Stewie and Bertram. Now I am deep into my dissertation which is due in like 10 days so I am halfa$$ paying attention to the game and notifications. However I have not completely lost it and as of this morning in my replicator was Stewie as a “Special Skin”, Captain Kirk and Captain Picard also as “Special Items”. I was collecting items for Stewie and built specific Enterprise rooms to collect the items. Now both Stewie and Picard are no longer in my replicator and none of the rooms nor characters are dropping the items for Stewie. WTH? Has this happened to anyone else? I am about to write TinyCo but I also wanted to see if anyone else had this happen.

Like a lot of people state here, I’m so frustrated and over this event. The amount needed for unlocks plus the drop rate plus’s the glitches just equals blah. The only thing that keeps me playing this game is that I’ve spent money in it so casting it to the side just makes me angry. I purchased every premium character and have had to utilize clams quite a bit for this Event and I STILL don’t have crusher or Vulcan quagmire. And forget about everything afterwards for data and kirk and stuff. I’m over this game and once I can get over the fact that I’ve drained a couple hundred bucks into it (a fact that makes me sick) I can delete the app and hold onto my money since that is all tinyco wants anyways.

I’ve been playing for around a year but I’ve given up on this event. Way too much going on and i got travel sickness travelling between too many world’s ha. Should have stuck with a comic con format. Hoping the next event will be better.

This could be long. Bare with me.
I am completely fed up with the sence of entitlement in todays society. People are becoming more and more selfish and self centered and focusing only on themselves. They act as if they have a god given right to put everyone else down and stomp on them to better themselves. I work hard, I push myself to the limit and yet it is never enough for my management, who focus only on what they can use us for.
It seems to get worse. People complaining about micro transactions for games. The idea that they aren’t getting a full game because they have to pay for additional content. Or complaining because they believe that the world turns around themselves. Business that use micro transactions have staff to pay. Servers to pay for. Licensing costs. If more people were prepared to pay even a small amount, then prices for content would be lower, but alas, they don’t.
This has been the worst week of my life. I crashed a work car (total write off), was abused for my percieved sexuality (despite it being no-ones business but my own), and I had my beloved motorcycle stolen out of my driveway whilst I slept. That was four days ago and I am still in tears over it. I had her almost four years. Loved her absolutly to bits and now she is gone and I will likely never see her again. Silver and metal flake with pink wheels. She was loud, brash, and beautiful. I will never forget her.
Thank you to both admins for supplying an outlet for my complaining. It is rare for websites to be so focused on delivery at such a high standard of content and community. I know that it gets tough with some of the attitude and demands you receive, but please keep up the good work. You have a community here that cares about you both, for how you run this site. Please don’t let the detractors ruin that for you.

I agree 100% with what you just said. Talk about 1st world problems, sense of entitlement, and “need it all – need it now” ! I am sorry to hear about the loss of your bike and the lousy week.
For those who think not getting a digital character for your digital town in a game where you don’t have to pay to play if you don’t want to is going to send you into a fit of anger and despair, then perhaps you should take a break, and perhaps a new hobby.
This is a game and nobody is forcing you to spend time and money on it if you do not enjoy it. Throwing a tantrum on a website that is only here to help you navigate through the game, along with your ‘I am taking my toys and leaving” nonsense is getting old. Take a step back, and think about 5 years down the line. Will this make that big a difference in your life, or will you have moved on to the next thing?
Bottom-line, this is a GAME, not life support. If you enjoy it, keep on playing, and thank the girls and folks here that spend their own time and money to make the experience better for you. If you are angry and frustrated and think you are not getting fun for your money, stop. It is that easy. No need for a huge exit, just stop.
Alissa and Bunny, know that you are appreciated by many of us, and there is a quote that applies to the others, “Illegitimi non carborundum” – translated to “Don’t let the bastards get you down”

So, the questline has you get the Herbert skin, but for the drop to collect for Data, you use regular Herbert (over and over and over) that DOESN’T earn event xp or crystals. Nice one TC, nice one. Force us to have to use a character out of eventspace that COULD BE earning event points etc. He could be doing it in the event skin tasks and be possibly dropping the item. Lots of these mistakes happen to often. Do they NOT see the inconsistency? Like when they make you build a building for someone and then they do a task at the Griffin house INSTEAD OF that building you HAD TO BUILD AND PLACE in your town for not the character it is associated with.

So many characters and stuff to unlock in this event.
Why not keep it simple and fun before the whole “space thing”?!
I mean.. WTD where are Neil, death and the evil monkey?!? I play the game for a year now and just don’t understand how they brought phineas & barnaby or even brain damaged horse before one of those three (“coming soon” from like July 2014 or somthing…).
What im saying is that I would rather snt.patrick day event with peter’s further instead of star trek.

I know I already WTD’d once today, but I need to vent a little more. Besides not collecting dilithium quick enough, I think the amounts of some items needed to unlock new characters or costumes are outrageous! Crusher needs 55 hydro spray, Vulcan Quagmire needs 42 space condom, Data needs 50 floppy disk, and Kirk 150 dark matter! WTD! Some of these items only have one action available to obtain them too! This has taken all the fun out of the event, making it frustrating instead. Thanks for listening.

The laser Bertram takes 18 hits, I only have Geordi and Chris, majority of the time they only do 1 damage. There are 24 hours in a day, giving me roughly 6 times to attack him, ASSUMING I don’t sleep and hop in RIGHT when the timer runs out. at 1 damage a piece, 6 times, thats 12. Can’t kill him with the hours in a day. Unless I use *clams* of course, to speed it up a couple times…but yeah.
So…was it made semi-impossible on purpose?

You will need at least one more character for level 3. I am waiting for it to reset again then I should have stewie by the time I get to level 3 again

Yes for the freemium player it will be slower but definately do-able once you unlock the Stewie and Picard skins so work away at Stewie whilst defeating Bertram on lower levels.

The Yeti at Christmas was much the same. Without Premium characters tier 3 will be (near-)impossible until you’ve unlocked both of this week’s skins

If you send one (or more if you have them) in for another hit before you have all his go gone and DONT tap them (even if there is the check above them) they will continue to fire at him during his cool-down period. And when he is back up, tapping them will give you that extra hit or two or more right away. A tip from the Yeti and I think Stay Puft as well. I do this and have 3 still hitting away at the resting Bertram which gives me a minimum of 3 hits right as he wakes and tap their checks (and immediately send them back in to fight). This way the 4 hour rest time isn’t wasted.

How the hell did you even get to fight Laser Bertram? I defeated Clawed Borg with Geordi and Chris and received two dark matter. Went on to fight Drill Borg and got him down to 2 remaining lives with 3 3/4 hours again. Restarted the duo immediately, when he regenerated after the next four hour break, I didn’t receive any dark matter and now I’m battling Clawed Bertram again? Did I get the shaft on the dark matter as well? Is it a guaranteed reward or just a chance reward?

Take a peek at the main rundown post. You need to completely defeat him before he goes to cool down. If you did not defeat him before time ran out and he went to cool down, he’ll reset to lowest Borg Bertram (Claw). Gotta watch the timer.

No, no, no. They are counting on you having bought Guinan, perhaps doing the clam deal for Picard or maybe, just maybe rushing Talosian Stewie to get him in on the action. For those not wanting to spend money you will seemingly have to be satisfied with only getting through the first two stages and then having him reset and start all over again.

That’s what it is looking like. I’m nowhere near done on quagmire or data let alone stewie. I honestly didn’t want to bother with quagmire, but he’s needed. Is stewie needed other than for help with Bertram?

Six rounds plus one attack from the previous level. (You’ll have to spend only two clams per character to get in a sixth round.) That’s 12 to 26 hit points with just two freemium characters. It’s not guaranteed but the odds are not bad.
If you are freemium it is an idea to only buy the cyborg cube and not the Guardian of Forever until after you have Picard as that way you only have to defeat level 3 Bertram twice to have enough dark matter for Picard.

Does anyone else feel like there’s a shortage on Crystal’s..? Most of the rooms/buildings give out like 1 to 5 of them at a time… I need major crystals to unlock all these characters..

I feel the same way about barely collecting enough Dilithium Crystals!.,It’s crazy how my total is STILL only about 4,000 maybe ALMOST 5,000, but I just can’t seem to keep em up enough for the 3 skins in the Replicator!!!…ONLY things I’m buying with those Crystals are buildings(I only get 1 of each I don’t want a ton of the same exact building!!).,and also just a couple of new event decos. I’ve decided already I’m NOT gonna buy anymore decos until the end of the event OR…if one of the questlines say to place a deco.,ETC.,!!! 😔

You are not alone Rina. Apparently there are “new” ways to get crystals now (by stunning Bertram), but nobody said anything about getting enough. Bertram gives 100 at level 1, 250 at level 2. I don’t recall level 3 as it is impossible. Other commenters calculated a need for 3000+ crystals a day, so Bertram is just useless.
I was almost swayed to buy more clams to get the dark matter for Picard, but I now have strongly decided not to, as I can’t see how I’ll get the needed crystals as well. Maybe if I boost Lois’s 1h task (50 crystals) with clams for all its worth… At 2 clams per try, that’s 2500 crystals per 100 clams. So that’s 320 clams for Picard’s crystals, 180 clams for Data’s.
People who bought premium characters might want to consider speeding Lois up with clams as prices are in the same ballpark as the premium characters, with a “Picard premium” on top for Picard.

The difference between the quality of service and the level of greed is getting noticeably larger now and it makes me more weary.
It’s been more than a year of the same thing and they’re still creating events that are not only late at every stage but, repetitive and riddled with glitches and mistakes. To make matters even worse, they seem to be perfecting their higher price point ranges and pushing them twice as hard. Essentially, their offering the same, broken product as they were a year ago, but yet tell us to pay them much more frequently.
I see this game being deleted from my phone in the near future and the next several months being filled with regret over the massive amounts of both money wasted and sleep lost, in exchange for so very little in return.

My thinking exactly. Since the last update hit I’ve been going into my game every two hours. The drop items have been dreadful (Borg cube 0-3, Herbert 0-20, Riker Seduce 1-6). When items labeled common aren’t dropping something is definitely amiss. This should be a fun, entertaining event. Instead TinyCo has reduced it to a monotonous, time-consuming grind and I refuse to take part in more of the same in the future.

WTD SPF 1000 Sunscreen for Talosian Stewie isn’t rare – it’s epic!!! Have Mort (8 hours), Riker (8 hours) and Worf (4 hours) doing this since the beggining of Warp Core 5 and only got 1Sunscreen!!!

I’ve been playing for a year and have not yet been so uninspired or bored! Can’t seem to collect enough ep to keep up, have spent the whole event a week behind. Characters take forever to collect ‘stuff’ for.
Ready to uninstall now, game takes 1/4 of my phones working memory and just. not. worth. it

i agree on the being behind part. there are too many activities, missions and drops required for how few characters they have participating in this event. having to get drops (transporter and phaser energy) to have a chance at getting other drops, missions tying up characters so they can’t try for their drops, several drops are limited to 1 or 2 ways to get the item without spending clams, VERY frustrating. content-wise this was looking to be my favorite event, but the way it’s been implemented it’s by far my least favorite. if future events are managed like this i don’t see myself playing much longer.

I’m disappointed that Q suddenly became a timed character. I was planning on making a decent sized clam purchase in about a week to get all the premium stuff I wanted, including Q, but now he’s gone! WTD?! Oh well, I guess it’s just 200 clams I don’t need to spend now.

I think putting a timer on premium quest lines was smart move by TinyCo as it stops the task area filling and new quests stalling like in previous events. But I think it’s case with TinyCo they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t at times.

Life Support Energy. I now have 301 of them with all the ship areas unlocked and nothing else to use them on. Nice of them to have that “glitch” that showed Kirk would need about 100 of them when they were being collected a couple weeks ago. I know we’ve got another warp core phase to unlock this week, so hopefully there will be some use for them with replicator items or something. Is there someone on the ship I can bargain with to trade these out for phaser or dark energy? maybe some crystals? Anyone? Anyone?
Wish there was a room and maybe one character that could also drop the new dark energy. Even if it’s just a few a day – better than nothing.
Tribbles. Glad they are back in some capacity, but really need them back at the numbers they were appearing before this last warp core upgrade. Need crystals. Many, many crystals.
I wish Bonnie had a task for Phaser energy, because I think her task for replicator cubes is broken or she’s just pretending to go in there and drink now or maybe she’s slipping out the back after I drop her off. She has not dropped a single cube since the last warp upgrade. I was getting them decently regular before that, at least once a day and sometimes twice.
I feel like it was a waste of time to even start with Bertram since I only have two characters that can attack him right now. I made it through the first two levels okay, but now on the third level and it’s obvious that it’s not going to be possible to defeat him this round in 24 hours. Trying to get Stewies costume unlocked to get him in on the battle but I’ve had Riker and Mort going around the clock since right after the last upgrade finally hit and only have 1 of the 6 sunscreens. I only need 1 more cream and 4 more of the grey dress. Also, for a company that loves getting clams out of us, where’s the option to purchase individual items for this costume? This costume should have been in Harringtons. The others are okay being in the replicator since they require only energy and crystals. Putting the Stewie costume in the replicator instead of Harringtons strikes me as an attempt to get us to purchase the clam pack with the free dark energy so you can get Picard unlocked. Because if you don’t have Guinan, you’re either behind on the Bertram battle with only having Chris and Geordi to start or you buy that clam package and get Picard in on the battle while collecting for Stewie.

At first, I was really happy with this event even though I got a late start. Now it has becoming overwhelming! So many different quest lines for characters that don’t even involve tasks that drop items. I want to get all the characters, but my quests are suffering. I wish more characters had tasks that dropped needed items. Only 12 days left and I still don’t have Crusher or Vulcan Quagmire. Probably won’t even have a chance for Data or Taoisan Stewie. Can’t afford to spens real money for clams. :((

WTD 1 year on and very little changed.
in the past with each event there was progress being made. comic con and ghost busters events were my favs.
this event is too much, tried to cram to many star trek stuff into 1 event. tinycos idea of everyone getting bored at end of event by making the drop amounts tediously high (provide an special clam purchase that will be usefull for 5days max then change the target).
i played xmas and didnt mind the yeti. but i am not even trying for kirk with the dark matter. sleep is so much better 🙂

Still need phaser energy to get condoms. But the only two characters I have that can get phaser energy, have to fight Bertram so I can get dark matter and crystals. WTD!!! Need more options for phaser energy. PLEASE!!

Like jesus, its just IMPOSSIBLE to get better drops with bertram without 3 or 4 charcterers, that are premium or veeeeery hard to unlock. So, hes NOT the answer to our dilitium problems. Hes just anotar one.
Terrible event. Im quitting, and im gere since launch. This is just NOT fun anymore.

I think it’d be better if you didn’t quit until the event finishes, TinyCo have changed a lot so far, they might change a lot more before the end.
Just look at last week, it was “impossible” to get all the needed drops, now it’s possible.

Really sorry if this has already been mentioned but is anyone else really miffed that getting Patrick Stewart from comic-con has had no effect on this event!? George Takei and Benedict Cumberbatch also proving to be needlessly pointless. WTD!

I never WTDed before. I never felt I had need to. But the extreme pricing of some of these characters is INSANE. I went into this event planning to drop some money. I’ve been a freemium player for a long time, but Star Trek TNG IS my childhood. So I went in saying that no matter what, I would get everything. I bought Worf and Guinan. Was pleased. Then I bought Q and got Meg’s costume. Q is fun, but they’re both useless to the event. Then I bought Spock. He’s not helping much either. I’ve been saving and being smart about my crystals and resources and I’m not even remotely close to having enough to get Picard. Hell, I got the dark matter bonus from buying clams to get Spock. I have that covered, but I’m still over 3,000 away from Picard, let alone the huge payout required for Kirk, Data, and others! On another note, I had saved over 80 phaser energy, and blew through it all trying to get items for Quagmire. I managed to get all of Data’s fairly easily, but Quagmire is STILL out of reach for me. Finally, I have been sending people through the transporter (Meg and Q have nothing else to do), just hoping against hope that I’ll get one of the big dilithium prizes. Without getting those bonuses often, there’s no way to get enough dilithium for the characters. If we’re sending a premium character to the transporter, the odds should skyrocket for the rarer items. Triple or quadruple it. And speaking of odds… TinyCo, my god, requiring 50 of any item is incredibly tedious. It’s awful. No task in this game is fun enough to want to do it 50 times. Especially if only a few characters can do it. Never have the requirements for characters be this high again, for items or dilithium.
Long story short, I spent a lot of money on this for the first time and have been extremely disappointed. I’m not even close to getting everything, while in past events, I have been freemium and got just about everything I could want. I’m very disappointed, but I have hopes that TinyCo will do something to turn this around in the next week. I can see we have Scotty, Khan, and Borg Queen Consuela coming, so the event is far from over, but geez. The game isn’t fun anymore and I’m considering dropping it completely. Please get this taken care of so I can keep playing and spending money on it.

You’ve written a post that is almost word for word my thoughts. I actually sent tiny co a message explaining this exact thing. Normally premium counts for something but in this event they seem to be of little help and considerable more expensive. Another thing is the sheer amount of premium characters (not to mention if Scotty, Kahn, and Consuala are premium also).
I am also in the same boat with crystals. I’ve killed the borg Bertram twice and not seeing what I’d consider a helpful amount of crystals, if this is what tinyco expects to be our source of the 31,000 crystals needed for data, picard, and kirk.
I’m loving this event, it just seems very unbalanced and way overpriced compared to others. One big gripe is that I only purchased Guinen to get Meg, which she still drops nothing, and Spock does absolutely nothing to help at this point in the game. Almost 1000 clams spent and I’m essentially on par with a friend who has purchased nothing. I feel that alone is a good indicator of how little the premiums have helped this event.
This is my first post so I want to say tthank you to the ladies running this place. It’s become my ssecond home and always seems to have the answers I need. Keep up the great work and know it’s appreciated by many!!!

I must admit confusion over your assertions that Q and Spock have been no help. Off the top of my head, last week Q helped with 2 items for Quagmire and Spock has a task that gets discs for Data WITHOUT needing Borg. Which I find helpful since I churn through them faster than they can spawn.
As far as the crystals, I log on less then 4 times a day due to work and the real world. While I am a “clammer” I haven’t bought the crystal generating buildings or rooms and I have Picard and the crystals for Stewie and Data. More importantly, I have faith that with another phase to go and more characters on the horizon they have a plan for generating enough crystals.
Remember the lessons Hollywood has taught us, just because you can’t see how it can end happily, doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

I know it’s unbelievable, just reading through them takes lot time, makes me respect Bunny & Alissa even more as they read them, moderate them , push them and probably hundreds of others we never see. And sadly seeing less and less thanks for what they do, so I’m always pleased to read you and a few others comments who always take the time to thank them. I try to also, wish more would.

Okay… I will say this again and again and again. We are two people. TWO. So if it sits in moderation, it either is being looked at to see if it can be posted (which you REALLY need to stop putting vents in main posts, we will not push them regardless of how “helpful” you think they are. Hidden WTD inside them is still a WTD)
Secondly… when ONE Of us is running this site alone for days while the other is out sick, on top of trying to get all details and issues for the new content, on top of HUNDREDS of other comments on the site to go through, on top of the fact we are human and need sleep and a REAL LIFE… BE PATIENT. Do not be cruel or mean to those providing you help.
If you want to “help” other players, then put the info very specific and to point. Do not add in 5 paragraphs of dissertation of your thoughts on how YOU feel businesses should be ran or other vents and details that do NOT belong in a run down post, detailed specific post, or helping posts. KEEP YOUR WTD TO WTD or it will find its way to the trash bin.
You know our methods by now. You KNOW what we do and do not allow. So MY What The Deuce is why do you still find it OK to treat us as such knowing all this??? This site belongs to the ADDICTS not TINYCO… if you have issue with them… write your book of issue to THEM not us. Respect our site for what it is. Not abuse it as your own personal rant on every post we meticulously spend OUR time and OUR money on. Be kind, be respectful, appreciate what is being provided to you. Kindness goes a long way. 😉

Sorry you feel offended by my statement and find it necessary to censor my work. The walkthrough was and is a walkthrough. So, since this is What the Deuce, and you seem to think there’s something offensive in my words,…. I’ll move the noted comments over here and repost the walkthrough only over there. At the very least, the walkthrough will be out for the masses as it should be. I’ve bent over backwards trying to help you girls, not hinder. I’ve thanked you on many occasions for this. If the work is becoming too much, I can understand. The company you’ve allied with hasn’t done anything to shield you gals from the storm they caused. So, for that, I’m sorry and sympathize. I’m sorry again if you feel that a WTD aimed at you for not posting was a personal attack. It was not, it was a simple wake up call that if someone takes the time to pull information for the masses, it should be allowed. I abhor censorship in all it’s forms and kept my notes as PG as possible. The note at the end was simple enough but I;ll repost it for the masses here:
“Ok, noticeable changes that are unfortunately all to the negative:
1) Drop rate has significantly decreased.
Rares are dropping now at about 17% (1 in 6), was 33-50% before (1 in 3 to 1 in 2). Uncommons now drop at about 25% (1 in 4), was 33-50% before (1 in 3 to 1 in 2). Commons now drop at about 60-80% (3 in 5 to 4 in 5), was 90% (9 in 10).
Additionally, I have a 0% drop rate on Herbert and Bonnie back in Quahog.
2) Floppy Disks for Data is no longer always drops, is listed as common.
3) Number of Tribbles has decreased from 6-7 to 4-5 per tapped spawn. They did not adjust the dilithium payout to counter balance (This was noted above but defintely for the negative IMHO).
4) All Petercraft have been removed from the area and the Romulan Warship no longer produces Dilithium when hit, only the asteroids produce.
5) Chances of getting larger rewards on Away missions has significantly decrease as well. Most of the time you’ll get 15-25 dilithium and 2-5 SFXP.
Not sure what to make of all this but it would seem the culling of the Tribbles, the lessening of the dilithium production in the mini game, and the lack of sizable rewards in Away missions, coupled with the huge amount of dilithium needed would be counter-productive to successfully getting all the content, even for a paying player.
Drop rate looks to have returned to the “as intended” event beginning status which was deplorable at best.
Sigh, I’ll save further comments on this for the WTD section as these changes are borderline suicide for their company with only 12 days to go. Will be posting later more info.

There is help… and there is abuse. We have our site set up a certain way for a certain reason. As to our relationship to TinyCo, just because you do not see what we vocalize behind closed doors… do not assume what goes on. Do not assume where we are “allied” as I can guarantee you with the amount WE spend on the game, it always has been and always will be for US… the Players. We are buying into this MORE than anyone here. We just chose to professionally handle issues and handle them DIRECTLY with TinyCo. Not an outside source.
I find you seem to want to use our site and ALL the posts to vent your thoughts on how they run their company. It does NOT belong here. That is your personal issues and you need to keep them that way. Your personal communications and dealings with a business are between you and them and OUR site is NOT the place for it.
Your “help” as you see it is just nothing but bashing and ranting on your personal experience with TinyCo. You say one or two lines of “help” then go off ranting and bashing all over again. It is vitriol and NOT what we want our site about. If you wish to do nothing but post every negative aspect of life, you may find yourself better company on TinyCo’s FGTQFS Facebook site. OUR site… THIS site… that belongs to the ADDICTS is about strategy and fun. Things games are SUPPOSED to be about. FUN. We are here to HELP… not bring hate. We will not allow OUR site to turn into a negative atmosphere.
When we spend HOURS or at time DAYS putting together a post, blowing through THOUSANDS of Clams to get details to help others, then to turn around and have you post something negative… NOTHING to do with our post we worked hard on… it ruins the overall post and turns what was a happy and fun post into another What the Deuce.
It seems you have many issues with TinyCo and have chosen our site to be your soapbox to write a book about those issues on. Well it will stop and stop now. If there is a legit technical issue, great… let us know… we access their techs so they can fix it. Something missing or not coded right, great… let us know… we will check to see if it is being repaired. But do not mistake our site for THEIRS. That is where you really need to take all you keep spilling to THEM.
What the Deuce is here to vent about an issue with an item drop or game progress or other things to do with game play, again… NOT a location to write a novel about something you REALLY need to take up with them. Keep it about the game and game aspects. If you want to overhaul their company… tell THEM.
Do not mistake us keeping with OUR Guidelines (see the part about sticking to the point) with Censorship. It is NOT censorship, it is you abusing those Guidelines. Plain and simple.
If you are happy on the work WE do… great. Let us know. But again, do not then turn and start to tear everything apart again with the same breath. It is OUR work you are commenting on, not theirs. OUR posts, not theirs. OUR site, not theirs. So you negative issues are impacting the ADDICTS, OUR readers, not TinyCo. What good does that do? Sugar coated **** is still ****. Make Sense? 😉

You’ve sullied my good name young lady. I’ve posted as I have BECAUSE I’ve been in touch directly with Suli, a founder of TinyCo. When I have a problem with someone, I take it up with them. Your taking offense to my calling out on the “time” issue is itself reprehensible. Abuse indeed! Look back and re-read your public dressing down and tell me how well you feel about what you said.

You’re asking me for my honesty… I’m blatantly giving it. Cutting right to the point. You make remarks in your comments to us that are indeed not necessary. Isn’t that putting our names down?
I get your frustration. I get we all have bad days. What I’m saying is the majority of your comments this event have been more about the inner workings of TinyCo then anything to do with a post or the site.
So I’m asking you to stop that. Please. It’s enough. Point given more than enough times. If you’re communicating with him, great. Just please stop allowing that to spill all over the site. Stop hiding things within “help”. It’s unnecessary. As I stated, we want this site to be about helping players in a game, not how to run a business that is not ours. I’m not trying to give you a bad name, just pointing out what we are seeing on our side. Redirecting you to return to what THIS site is great for…help. Make sense?
Here is the thing on your question… and I say this often… we play through the game too. That means we gotta wait on Bertram to reset every 4 hrs too. To test and test and test outcomes. When I’m complete compiling the data and can give a thorough response, I’ll be happy too. I usually put up an entire post on those results. Going off previous events and seeing how they play out… yes I see it possible as the battle odds are BETTER with basic Characters vs the only one premium. That was not the case in prior events.
Hoping to be done with stats this weekend…but patience is key. Its not an overnight answer. Not at all. Time and LOTS of Clams involved so no reason to be pushy on it. K? 😉

I’ll concede the point of any comment that may have been a grumble or two on posts that are not on What the Deuce; however, as the majority of my complaints have been exactly there, is that not what the topic is for? I can be more mindful of the “where” any items of concern may lie. But I think you’d agree with me that if I choose to focus my ire on candlestick dippers and talk about how bad they are for using certain chemicals, I fall into the same category as everyone else… just a bit more long winded. I know you girls got it rough. I read about 70% of the posts myself. Rest assure though, I get where you’re coming from but just understand where I am. If you think back to your time at the station, I’m like the “idiot” on the other side of the mic. Nuff said. Have a good night sweetie and don’t let this bother you anymore. I’m not exactly sure why I just read this giant debate at 2;00 in the morning…But it certainly confused the crap out of me. All I know is if I ever need a lawyer I’m calling Bunny. lol. I didn’t really have a wtd so I guess all I can say is sorry for Alissa being sick, that’s WTD worthy I think. And I think you (Bunny) said you were sick a little while ago in a comment I read for another article. So that sucks. A lot of people in my life are getting sick right now in minor and major ways and it sucks. Okay, I think I’m going off topic and you don’t really want to read this as you already have 100 other things to do on the site and in real life. I don’t even know what I’m writing as I’m half asleep, but uh…there’s that.

Scheduling posts and writing 12 ahead of time is painful to try to navigate. Then in comments all you do is say read the post but don’t say which one, only rarely linking to it. I have to scroll through posts about things a week old to find things that are meaningful now. It’s a mess to navigate. Then you have a Star Trek event link yet most of it is incomplete and not updated. That might help but even then….

If I say read the post … it means the current post you are commenting on. There is no reason to post a link to the EXACT post you are commenting on. That would just be silly and ridiculous. 😉 If I am redirecting you… I will put a link to the alternate post outside the one you are commenting on.
You do NOT have to scroll. We have had since day one an awesome Search Tool on our site Menu that navigates our site using Google, only it searches JUST our site. So put in any keyword or phrase and you have all the links you need. We push this tool weekly and sometimes daily throughout our posts. And because you like links… here is the direct link to it…

I have been pretty much running this entire event sick and solo by myself, so yes… for once… our Event page was not able to be updated every single day. No matter, there are still a million other ways to get the information. If you look at each post, we have placed MANY re-links all throughout them. Sending you back to other critical information. It is there. All over. Just tap on the highlighted section and BOOM… instantly taken to the other link. No need to navigate.
FYI… the Event page IS updated. Instead of having the weekend off… like normal humans. I worked during this event. Worked to get details out, Worked to get posts together, worked to get the page update. But thanks you know for having an appreciation for all the info on the site given to you and managed by off n on two people, but this event mostly one. On top of a full time job, eating, sleeping, and doing normal human things. 😉

I still need 6 laser pointers to unlock Locutus, but the only way to get them now is Quagmire’s Flash Frenzy. I’ve been trying for almost 2 days now since the warp core upgrade and have yet to get a single one. I sent Support a message yesterday but haven’t heard back. Without Locutus I can’t use Picard, and I’ll be needing Quagmire to do other things pretty soon. WTD?

Here, here. 0-18 in my game and that was after a few “other” tasks to clear the algorithm that many people suggest doing when a character isn’t dropping an item.

What the deuce?! New update in App Store crashed my game. Tried uninstalling and everything, hopefully support will figure out what’s wrong. I’m still on iOS 6, and really don’t want to upgrade to the battery-eating iOS 8 if I don’t have to…
