Family Guy Addicts 
After careful consideration, and by that I mean,I have played this game for years and worked very hard as a Freemium player to do as good as I could, getting what I can and just saying oh well to the things I couldnt. Now with this Halloween event, no horror characters for freemium players and if you are lucky you bust your hump to get skins for old characters and some so so Deco’s??? WTD???? When you go to the helpful posts to get help with your game you just see everyone crying because they spent their money and blah blah,, doesn’t feel very community-ish to me, guess I’m not addict enough? I am deleting this game good luck and later gators( it’s just a glorified FarmVille anyway)

I completed what the duece part 1, yet what the duece part 2 is still locked and says I have to complete part 1. What the heck?!?

Well done, programmers at TinyCo. For the entire length of this event, an unprecedented number of dedicated players experienced consistent glitches and crashes, often times resetting progress. And on the final day of the Mobster event, I cannot login at all-impeccable timing. I get it, idiots pay real money to advance there rankings and scramble to unlock temporarily useful characters, which naturally leads to apathy and neglect on your end to actually address a likely simple issue; because who cares when you’re wiping your **** with clams, amirite?! Meanwhile, Elder scrolls Online composed an entire world existing in its on dimension with gorgeous cinematography and aesthetic motion graphics, yet an app game played by millions literally cannot function with its miniature town existing within the width of my cell phone screen. I fart in your general direction!
-See what I did there? Dry, sarcastic, witty humor all packaged in a box of “get-you’re-****-together.”

The game crashes 100% of the time within minutes of playing, which often leads to resetting my progress, then it crashes again. It’s a vicious cycle. I have the updates and wonder how prevalent this issue is with everyone else out there. Quite frustrating, really. What’s the deal, Ey?

What the deuce? Why does my very expensive Leonard Nimoy no longer voiced by the actual Leonard Nimoy? Had problems with my game the other day so had to clear the cache and reinstall. When I did, all of his phrases which were voiced by him are gone, and now he only says “give us more star trek” What the deuce indeed. Anyone know if tiny Co will refund for these characters if they are no longer as advertised when purchased?

That is his voice saying that. It may not be the one familiar to you as it is much much much older Spock in a sound booth, but it is him. As to the others, sometimes it takes a few taps for them all to trigger. I spend a LOT of time tapping like a manic on each Character trying to get all the Phrases triggered I possibly can. The ones we post are the ones I heard in my own games.
I just heard 5 of them before responding to this… all still Nimoy’s voice. I can “hear” him talking through his dentures, silly I know, but it is him. Trust me. The him that recorded all those just before his passing. 😦

WTD I have spent 40 bucks on this event and now I am at the point I can’t do any quest 14 of them because they all require one of the Bertram fighters . There are only 5 characters that can fight him . This is the most disappointing event ever . I will not get Kirk based solely on the redicilous drop rate of crystals . I have more than enough dark matter . The sad part is I can’t do any quests . Thanks for the POOR planing because it is a bore to do the Bertram fights but I need the crystal drops . I missed hot meg by hours and I will miss Kirk buy a few days because of crystals . I have no idea how freemeium players enjoy this game . I am ok with supporting the developer because it requires real money to buy content . I don’t see me continuing after this because I am left disappointed at the end of 2 events now . And lastly nothing in the fight for Spock or Scotty WTD do they understand theses are legends that created science fiction . Spock should have joined the battle what a tribute to a great actor it could have been . Live long and prosper

Not feeling any better 12 hours later! Last 7 attempts on all 3 characters that drop anti-virus are zilch! Still need 8 of them! If tinyco takes data away from me like they did hot Meg… I’m not sure what I’ll do… sob quietly In a corner while the rage boils inside like a volcano untill I erupt… I got soo close to having Hot Meg and boom! The event ended… (my first full event with them mind you, I started playing during the Christmas event and I didn’t get much there, didn’t expect to) so since the valentine event I absolved to only work on the events when they come up. We’ll I did just that with this one… and here again 5 days till it ends… 48 hours and no drop on Antivirus…. I’m not happy… 50$ is alot for me… I only splurged 20$ on valentines day and accepted it… but come on! Like I said before… I’ll be happy after I get Data… not really upset about stewie costume, I’ll live without… but come on! I want Data! Arghhh!

Anyone else having crash issues all of a sudden? I’m on iOS 7. Just bought Khan and got Scotty, then exited game and crashed upon return. Force quit, uninstall, and update to latest version didn’t work (well, the reinstall got me back to the game as a guest, but then crash happened again when trying to log back into my game). I’ve contacted TinyCo already.
Not trying to wish unpleasantness on others, but I’m kinda hoping this is a widespread problem because if it’s just me it’ll never get resolved in time to finish the event!

Its been happening to me too…every time I try to go to the enterprise it crashes. It’s really frustrating because I’m about to lose the borg Bertram streak right when I’m about to unlock Kirk

Ughhh! Well if not for a lack of trying… I think I’ll settle with just unlocking data. if I get that far I’ll be satisfied. I dropped 50$ on this event alone… to me, that was alot for a game. (A game based on a show I really, really, REALLY like) but kinda worth it for my favs. Splurged on Spock and Q, and a couple buildings… but all in all a good fun event…. just disappointed that it’s soo close to the end and I can’t seem to get cat food, anti-virus, or cream (for stewie)… also need DC for stewie… oh well I’ll hang in till I get data, over all he is my all time favorite Star Trek character so what a way to end eh!

Has anyone had trouble getting the Klingon Bird of Prey ship? I’ve spent over $60 on the hisanus mystery box just for the Bird of Prey. ( I enjoy collecting the starships ) I’ve received all the other prizes from that box including the Rare Tribble and now all I keep getting is phaser, transporter energy and bonus clams ( not complaining about that! ) Is the Bird of Prey Rare? The mystery box doesn’t list it as such! Please help!

Wow…. That’s ridiculous. Definitely feel your pain! Have you spoken with TinyCo about this? Items that are not listed as rare taking that much to unlock after the advertised ‘rare’ item is unlocked so much earlier? If the Bird of Prey was listed as the rare I know I may not have tried as much to get it. I don’t mind having spent the $$$ as its a great game, but could this be classified as a glitch?

Results vary by player. Some get things right away. Others take a while. Luck of the draw.

Reading some other WTD mine seems kinda small in comparison which is a good thing I suppose since I really do hate complainers and complaining. But I’ll just go ahead and do it anyway. I can earn around 1,500-2,500 a day of dilithium by just going through the usual. That’s 12,000 if rounded to 2,000 per day which is great. But I need at least 19,000 just to get the characters, while also wanting the decorations and last few buildings. Then there’s another 12,000 from beating the final Bertram once per day, which I will hopefully do. That’s 24,000 and probably enough, but for some reason I’m still freaking out about needing all these crystals. That’s my WTD. Why am I freaking out? Logic dictates I can get what I need too in the amount of time given so what’s happening? Where is the stress coming from! If only Troi was real…

Me and my wife started family guy just before christmas i have bought a couple of premium characters . clevland and consuela, my wife bought the brain dead horse, arnie and jene simmons and jesus to do the christmas quest. I dont know if it’s been bought up in topic before, but it would be nice if the premium characters could also collect stuff for other mission quests even if they was made extra etra rare for them, it would give them something to do and make it worth while buying characters as consula never had nothing to do nor did clevland. so far i have bought spock as it was supposed to help unlock other characters which was not totally true as he only helped with collecting 0ne type of item for each character, but purchased him anyway as the original startrek was a favourite of mine as a child plus the donation to the lenord nemoy fund i was happy with. just been informed by the wife that Jesus does do something he drops clams rarely. at least he was worth buying. 🙂

Anyone else just getting…bored?
All of the events are just carbon copies of each other – level up within the event, unlock characters, fight a monster, wonder who would actually spend real money on the game (I know, that’s how the game stays in existence)…the Star Trek one did include a new world which was refreshing. But I gotta say, and probably not being a Star Trek fan has something to do with this, but the event is way too long and I’m just bored of it. I went from checking it 5-8 times a day to once or twice.
I feel like this will be like Farmville; played by everyone and their mom for a year or so, then it drops off the face of the earth. Unless the next event is a completely new concept, I’ll probably say no thanks.

As a High School student my WTD of the week is homework….English homework (Sentence diagramming) 😯, On a good note I got Picard today and im starting the grind for Kirk I’m at 54/150.

WHAT THE DEUCE?! I’ve been sending Mort and Riker to get Sunscreen for Talosian Stewie ever since he was unlocked, and I STILL need 2 more! I’m getting so frustrated over this supposed ‘rare’ drop rate…
Also, my other characters have netted almost a Million coins for me back in Quahog, and there is nothing to buy! -___-
Suggestion: Buy Clams with Coins. Simple enough, right?
Oh and as of tonight, I have sent TinyCo SEVEN messages this week with questions/concerns, with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. NONE. What terrible customer support…

It’s 4 days i miss the last sunscreen. 6 times a day. 24 total and not a sigle drop. I didn’t even try to contact TyniCo. They do something only when hit by a tsunami of rage from all players.

( Side Note: FYI… Facts and data always win out. You can yell n scream all you want, but unless you have “proof” to back it up… any company out there hears nothing. This is why we suggest to contact them. So they can physically see your game stats and check to make sure it is functioning properly for one, secondly to see just where you are in the game. This is the kind of data that helps. )

I messaged them 3 times about this issue, and I included the number of attempts and the results I received. I also compared this drop rate to the other ‘rare’ drop rate items I actually DID receive including that data as well. THEY STILL HAVEN’T RESPONDED TO ANY OF THESE MESSAGES. I understand how it works, so I did everything suggested in my contact, they just choose to ignore me and hope I stop trying… well they’re about to lose a die-hard fan because of their lack of support, it’s sad.

I get you are frustrated. I am just letting you know to send them info. Information much of the time does not trigger a response. It is like a suggestion. Just passing info on, nothing more. If there was a technical issue, that is another matter. But just sending things like a request to add something to the game, a suggestion of something that could be changed, or stats and facts won’t often get a response. Sorry your dealings with customer support or not what you had hoped.

I’ve also been sending Riker and Mort on missions for the sunscreen for the last 3days and still haven’t received one of the last two sunscreens I need.. I decided to go for Stewie so he could help with the Borg.. But at this rate it seems like I’ll never defect level 3 and start accumulating some crystals so I can unlock the other characters.. WTD

A lot of people have describe this event as “challenging” when faced with myriad needlessly difficult tasks. If you feel this event has been “challenging”, I’d like to ask you a question: how have you, personally, been challenged by this event?
Do you find dragging task bubbles from one side of the screen to the other, over and over and over again challenging?
Perhaps you enjoy the financial challenge of making yet another clam purchase to unlock a premium character of dubious utility.
Maybe you enjoy having your patience challenged as TinyCo announces delay after delay and scrambles to fix glitch after glitch.
Reflecting on the answers to those questions, “challenging” doesn’t quite feel like the right term anymore, does it? All the precision finger tapping in the world isn’t going to make those rare items drop any faster. It always comes down to random chance. Working against the clock doesn’t pose a challenge. Tasks always take the same amount of time, unless you want to rush them with clams, right?
There’s no more challenge to this game than sitting in a casino playing the slots.
But we’re invested!
We’ve poured time and money into this event!
It’s a common part of the human experience to ignore or deflect painful truths about something you’re invested in – emotionally, financially, or otherwise. However, it’s important to understand that acknowledging those truths doesn’t devalue our investment.
The painful truth about this event: TinyCo botched it.
They had a fantastic idea. The artwork and creative assets are top notch. Unfortunately, the implementation has been extremely sub-par.
I’m not going to lengthen this further with a laundry list of wrongs. We all know the challenges that have been faced during this event.
TinyCo, hear this: I’m tired of challenges!
When a countdown timer hits zero, things need to happen. It shouldn’t take dozens of rare item drops to unlock things needed for quest progression. There shouldn’t be a need to reach StarFleet level four to unlock the next Halloween Portal.
Highlighting these things is not being entitled. I don’t feel that I’m entitled to anything from TinyCo. This is about consistent failures to meet minimum standards that many other free games with far smaller budgets and staff have no problem delivering on.
“If you don’t enjoy it, quit playing.” Absolutely. I’ve got tons of other games on my tablet that will be getting a lot more screen time now.
Things will never change as long as excuses are made about “challenges”. Take a deep breath and say, “This event has been a sucky experience.” Feels a lot better than dreading another “challenge”, doesn’t it?
Now, go tell TinyCo!
Maybe we can get the final days of this event turned around into something that makes people want to continue playing.

Koolaid man is 750 clams! Why so many clams? Worst part about it is I was looking at his info description and turned away from my phone. I accidentally clicked the screen when I looked back and now I own him. What a waste of all my clams 😦 why would tiny co have such an expensive character especially during a Star Trek event. I wish there was an undo button.

I have tried every character needed for the Herbert outfit on the missions. I have tried them all together and each one desperately multiple times and still no outfit! What the deuce? What am I doing wrong? What should I do?

So my complaints:
I started playing this game cause of a commercial about this event. I read here there were issues with the version right before the event starting, so i waited, stupidly, till the day the event started. It took me 3 days to unlock the land needed for the event to trigger. So 3 days lost. Then I had to get characters to help in the event. Big middle. More time lost.
Then, when I FINALLY got the enterprise unlocked, 3 days late, I fell in love (awwwww). It’s trexels but way damn better, so much attention to detail, and actual cast members doing voices, its what i always wanted, a TNG builder game, someone needs to keep this idea going, buy the art, and make a Mint, maybe tinyco will realize there is a market (I’ve played tapped out since 1 month after launch and ive never spent money, would have never spent money here but as i am a nerd, TNG builder? Yes please, shut up and take my momey!) So my first premium buy was Q, cause I loved him as a kid, and still love JDL. Yet for days he didn’t do ANYTHING TO HELP ALONG THE EVENT! WTD?!?!? but what really grinds my gears? The fact they kept DC req kept from us on future items. I cannot spent any DC on new rooms, or on anything at all at this point, otherwise I can’t get Picard (I did the dark matter or whatever deal so i could get spock so the only thing keeping me from picard is the DC). I wasted so much DC on stuff I didn’t really care about to learn later it was needed for picard. Not cool. Not cool at all.

👎 I planned Bertram to “wake up” 2 hours after the alleged update time so that it would be at the next level. I thought as TinyCo did not post any potential delays that giving them a 2 hour grace period would be enough.
I will wait until the update occurs before I send them a screaming meany text to have Bertram changes to the correct type/level.

They posted a delay message almost an hour AFTER the expected launch time. It would a reasonable expectation that they would know an hour or two BEFORE that they were not going to meet their deadline. I think TinyCo needs to learn to “under promise and over deliver” and not the other way around.
I do however appreciate how quick you (Bunny) were to post info on the update & walkthroughs.

You would hope, not that simple. They tried to push it live, glitch shut it back down. To you it seems an hour… it was like only a few minutes after actual lauch (we were watching). I would rather they not try and force it as it was and have ALL players locked out…then… whats the point of the Upgrade? Lol. 🙂

Wtd omfg fml Herbert is so useless with his drops for data I think he is 0-7 so far and crusher is no better I had to pull Peter off diagnostics and transport duties for my xp and crystals, respectively. Still half way on 9 to get to 10 but I want to bump up my crystals.
I’m thinking instead of doing the 4hr away mission with Peter I’ll send q on the 2 hr mission and hope for 500 instead of the 750 payout. 😦

If you need a bump on XP… try the Romulan Bar if you have those extras as no crystals needed there (if that helps)

I’m kind of glad they delayed the event I still haven’t reached star fleet level 10 I’m in level 9 anyone else relieved? Maybe they’ll extend the event an extra day

Bit of a long one so bear with me 🙂
The thing that really winds me up isn’t the high requirements, but the fact that I now have so many characters in a variety of different outfits kicking their heels back in Quahog with nothing to do except gain coin and xp.
With the amount of hoops TinyCo make us jump through in order to unlock these characters (or skins) you’d think that when new events roll round, they’d try and give everyone at least one thing to do to help out.
The worst offenders are the premium characters. While I myself haven’t bought any of the premium event characters, I can imagine that it must be pretty frustrating to have spent money on something that has no longevity.
On the one hand I get that not everyone will have picked up characters/outfits that are no longer available, but they should at least be given minor tasks that can assist players who do have them.
Even a lot of the core characters haven’t really had much to do event wise since unlocking them bar the odd quest.
So anyway i’ve had an idea and wanted to share it with you guys to see what you think.
Pearls. (pearls can be found in clams youseewhatIdidthere)
You can then exchange pearls for event items. Pearls can also be purchased by clams and pearls are only available during events.
Every character has a task that gives them a chance to collect pearls. Premium characters have the shortest task time with the highest chance of obtaining one, while basic core characters have the longest task time with the lowest drop chance.
That way when an event rolls round, everyone can be doing something and even if you’ve not managed to get 500 minty flannels (or whatever crazy item is required), you can still have been collecting pearls to exchange for them instead.
But what about coins? I’ve seen many unhappy posts about having too much money. While I myself am only at 80k, there does seem to be a lack of things to spend coin on towards the end of the game.
As such, my other idea is to introduce a casino style slot system with which you can spend coin (or clams) to spin and win something.
Characters that have unlocked unique outfits can also get a task that has a rare drop chance for a free spin (such as a lucky clover item).
Items to win can include previous characters, ouftits, decorations and clams.
This way there is still a game for people to play once all the districts are unlocked, all land has been cleared and not just faced with a boring grind waiting for the next event to launch which then ultimately becomes redundant as you find yourself with yet more characters that now do nothing except contribute to the grind.
