Hi bunny, just wondering is this event the biggest one so far? Im just wondering because i play a lot. I mean so much if i wasnt on a site with other addicts i probably wouldnt admit how much time i do play. Lol. Anyways i dont feel ive played any diffrently than any other event. I was locked out of the Ghostbusters event for 2weeks because of that silly, not so little, bug that envolved facebook. I still got through the event, got every character and all the fun stuff. Just feeling very behind without a chance of catching up before the event is over. So thats why i wondered is it that there’s more envolved with this one?

Hi everyone–
I hope I’m posting in the correct place. Has anyone else received an error when creating Telosian Stewie? I gathered all the objects needed and went to Al’s to create him. I get the success screen, but when I click, “freakin sweet” or “share” i I get an error saying “trying to Transfer a character that doesn’t exist”. Then my game crashes. I’ve reportedted to TinyCo. Any one else having this issue?

Is Stewie in your inventory? I had that with happen with Starfleet Peter but when I restarted the game and took him out of inventory it worked for me.

Is there anyway to get the SPF 1000 besides the tasks? I have one…just one after unlocking this task 6 days ago. I quickly got everything else in 4 days to unlock Star Trek Glenn…

Just curious how much real money people spend on this game on the average? With this event alone, i have spent about $50 and i’m no where NEAR having unlocked Dr. Crusher or Spock Quagmire. (I’m still a little over 400 Clams needed for each of them). Is it me or is this event incredibly expensive because i don’t know how’d you’d do it without spending real money? (and i admit, i’m not one to set my alarm clock to do a task…but i play every day with about an 9-10 hour “work gap” in there)

(putting on protective clothing) Okay, so I don’t care in the slightest about getting Kirk, or any of the other remaining characters to be honest, so is there any use for the large amounts of the Syn Ore or Dark Matter that has been stacking up, or is the only real use buying characters?
I would love to have some of those mystery boxes that you can buy with crystals, instead of clams, or even some you can buy with the other energy types.

Well, it was worth a shot to ask! Not being much of a trekkie, nor have I been playing this long, got started in the middle of the valentines event, so I figured that you, and some of the long time addicts, had a better handle on how the developers minds worked, and what direction they may head into. I thought that Kirk would have been the big “get”, like Hot Meg was last time, but he is already available, so I doubt anyone else will “cost” more.
Anyway, thanks for all the heads ups and tips along the way, it certainly helped me navigate, and I got my borg kitteh, and stewie, and some cool shrubbery and plants, so it is all good on this end!

Hi ladies! Or anyone else reading! Do you remember how much human Rupert cost when he was in the game? I searched and found posts with him but couldn’t find his clam price. Thanks to the star trek event I have enough clams to buy one character, I think. I’ve wanted human Rupert since the beginning. I’m hopeful he will reappear as he comes up now and then. I love how ridiculous the character is 😁.

Not a great day, at college (I’m English for reference, not sure what the American equivalent is) I like to play, but the WiFi connection is quite poor in most places. Sometimes characters I set on tasks, will be reset and won’t have done them when I come home, if they did drop items, they do drop them when I finish the task again. Today, I had the last Bertram stage at 1 HP again, I set Geordi, Chris, Guinan and Picard to battle. I would tap one to finish(Chris or Geordi), then once he comes back, tap the rest for a head start. I found, not only did their tasks go back, they then left him at 3 HP, instead of one. Now I have been psued back a lot and I will probably only just get him down again before his reset.

Guinan managed to deal 3 damage so now I have Chris, Geordi and Picard waiting for the timer to start again. Someone else pointed this out, currently, it would cost me about 216 or so clams to get Data if I bought each item, but if I want to directly unlock him, it would cost 656 or so. I have given the Dilithium, so I don’t know what is giving him such a high cost.

Same. The last items for me were all 6 clams each. But when I added the number times 6 clams it came out to far less than the clam total to unlock right then. Almost half actually. After a while of not getting drops and the few that did, I decided to just one by one buy the items and only used like 160 or so instead of the 450 that it was saying was for a one click unlock. Might be an option for any others who aren’t getting drops and just want to move forward at a lesser cost.

FGtQ4S-related: I have all the “stuff” (except dilithium!) to create Talosian Stewie, but many characters are still capable of creating the “stuff.
I can only assume.e from prior experience with the game that this is a glitch, and not extra items to be used for a future unlockable character.

the original Chekov and Uhura are attending my local comic con. was already planning to do photo ops with em but now they announced a cool little event for them where they’ll talk about Trek and stuff and there will be a Q&A. for the crazy (like myself), there’s a “gold” ticket that gets you priority seating a special lithograph signed by both. they did similar last year with Leonard Nimoy but it was through Skype on giant screens. (which i’m glad i got to attend with recent events) but this time the actors will be there in person…and its a small-ish room so even if you’re not at the front..should have a great view! while i do prefer TNG to the original show, i grew up on those first 6 movies so i’m definitely excited about this!

oh forgot to mention the gold ticket is for the crazy because its crazy expensive compared to the “regular” ticket. but hey, only live once and i love this sorta crap so its money well spent for me. 😛

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I find doing the actual quest lines is pointless. They rarely have any decent reward at the end of them, and they usually take way too long. You get way more event currency if you just send characters on the shorter tasks. Maybe tinyco should give us an item that we need to help unlock a character at the end of them. And I’m sure im not the only one to notice this, but Lois and peters 1hr tasks seem to pay out way more starfleet points and crystals then anything else. Hopefully this didn’t sound like a “what the duece” comment since I’m not actually upset about the quest lines, it’s just more of a general observation thanks

I was wondering about that aspect myself, to be honest. How much do the questlines really contribute to the overall outcome of the game? Does it hinder you in achieving the goals of obtaining items, costumes and characters? Or is it a valid progression? If there are questlines that are like stairways that lead to nowhere, I’d just as soon not waste my time on them.

Main questlines usually take you through the progress of the game, like this event… they unlocked red shirts, borgs, nerds, etc.
Side ones don’t do too much. Funny to read.

Ha! I like the idea of a item after a questline. Well some quests are already designed to get an item from away missions and in past events we got sometimes a clam for completion. Also I don’t think the questlines are so unimportant, it’s a nice break to have a hilarious storylines between the grinding which is also rewarding somehow. And of course I appreciate the huge content. Sadly there is the let down of unfinished quest lines as soon the event ends.

Just crafted Picard from the replicator and only 4 SPF from crafting Stewie. Already bought every character so, Bertram is getting whipped constantly. I think I already beat his 3rd level twice and am about to beat it for a third time. woohoo dark matter for days! 😀

I think we should all choose some random hated character for Star Wars as our “beloved and can’t wait to have” character so that TinyCo will have that one as the prize character. Then we will get out real favourites early in the event, and we can all finally get some sleep during the last weeks of it, since none of us will be waking up every 4 hours bombing AT-AT’s to win Jar Jar Binks! Who’s with me!!!!

Juggling both games and now two different events have been monopolizing my time, I haven’t been able to focus on the websites. LOL. It’s gotten to the point that I expect to see Star Trek characters in my Springfield and mutant walking vegetables on the Enterprise.

Why does everything cost clams??? I’m sitting on a bunch of Coins, but most…if not all…characters require a ridiculous amount of clams. There should be a coins to clams exchange.

It may be just your view as you want something you are struggling to get and assume Clams are the only answer. They’re not. Really. 😉

I love this game, as well as the “other”, while being very busy and active in the “rest” of my life. Since this is the “blah, blah” thread – I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all that you girls do. There are “negative Nellies” on all the threads, that just don’t understand that you are posting information to help us with each event while receiving nothing in return. Well I’m 44 (nearly 45), & I play guitar. 24 yrs ago I played in a metal band. We had a couple of gigs. We weren’t bad but we weren’t that good. Because of work & stupidity I set my guitar down for 20+yrs. Only in the last yr or so have I picked my guitar back up & today, based upon a silly recording I made a week ago, I was asked to join a band. I’m so excited to play w actual people again, I don’t know what to say. It’s beyond me. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Not in a rush to see the event end, however I am quietly and eagerly anticipating the time right after the event.
There have now been 2 “dear Tiny Co” posts..and man, the plethora of good ideas in those posts were insane. Some bad ones too, lol. Been awhile now, since those posts. I have yet to see a single change from any of the ideas listed.
Now since obviously this event was planned way ahead of time, no problem, I get that.
After the event though? Time to shine, I hope Tiny Co. You’ve had all the time during this event to have some people working on it.
So hoping you guys listened and got proactive towards making your game the best there is, and I hope your second year outshines the first.

The tabs in the Inventory (though I still would like a bit more organization… the Event Inventory icon is one I discussed with them back then), Making Premium Characters MORE useful after their Events (they have been getting better at this, MORE lil decorations like flowers/fences/bushes (though they are still lacking on them IMO), re-using buildings instead of making new ones. Those are just a handful. The rest are mechanics along the way. MANY changes we have seen just this Event alone. We provide a detailed breakdown on our thoughts of something, backed with Player’s experiences, and they adapt when they can.
I do appreciate they listen to ideas. Especially when presented to them with stats, details, and examples. Makes it better for all players as well as them to have such open communication.

Ok, I see , they have done some things and that’s awesome. Most of that must be from the first post. I am personally mostly vested in the second post. I guess I was just hoping for some of the bigger and better changes. Like I said I am being patient.
On a side note…I never posted because it doesn’t upset me or anything, but I noticed a severe lack of decorations for this event compared to others. I am talking about simple added in decos, not replicator stuff or things like that. Lets see, 3 or 4 plants and some purple shrubs. Oh and a satellite dish. Kind of weak in the deco department this event.
I guess it doesn’t matter much cause I have no where left to put a single thing.

We are alike there, Its the little things that make this game. For example some of my current deco favs….my tiny little 1 square lobster now sings when I tap him….One of the best decos to date for me was Stew-E. He came out of nowhere, for no reason…has awesome animation and was very affordable. Lastly…I have found a cool “accidental” joint animation…
So you have to have Boppo the clown and Meaty the clown statue…ok so put Boppo directly to the right of Meaty. What you wanna do is tap Boppo then wait about a half second to a second and tap Meaty. If you do it right….its pretty darn cool. yw

Lol. I mess with mine all the time. From dangling Characters over the volcanoes, staging scenes, or having a shoot out with the clown and the cowboy with Asian Lincoln trying to stop it… makes for interesting lil tales to pass the time. 😉

YAY!!! I just got Stewie’s skin unlocked! This was my sole goal in this game once I saw him in the advertisement. I also got the borg kitten, so for me, this game was a complete success!

You get it. *smile* I like this game, and while it often confuses me, being old I am easily confused, the happy stuff far outweighs the negative, and I have a mechanic kitten wandering my streets!.

I cannot wait to have a day off to start my garden! Here is a pic of a lost, hidden zucchini from my garden last year. I inherited the varicose veins at too early of an age, from my Awesome Great Grandma. Sorry they are popping out ya lol. Ya gotta learn to take the good with the bad in life.

I’m one of those that feels things thought out and from the heart are more precious than those costing lots of money. I LOVE throwing surprise parties for others, giving them a gift just because, random things people don’t expect or anticipated.

I think the event has really picked up in the past week. At least my enjoyment of it has. (Not that I didn’t like it before.) I feel like the premium characters have been given a little more umph in this latest phase as well. I just wish they’d increase the drop rate of the Synthesizer Ore a bit. It’s needed for so many things, and I’m only getting about 2-3 a day with so many characters trying for it. (Meg, Peter, sometimes Chris going to Acapella XII, the two freemium rooms that have a chance of dropping it, Troi and Worf (soon Quagmire) fighting Borgs, and Bonnie going to ladies’ night.) I may buy the premium room that guarantees a drop, but I’m trying to limit my clams to only characters from here on out. Waiting until this Thursday to go into panic mode, though. Haha! There’s usually something in that last week of the event that gives the players a plethora of everything.

Hey Bunny hope this is an okay place for this comment… I just have a general question (not really event specific) you can probably help me answer…. When speeding up tasks with clams, in the hopes of getting an item, does the clam cost stay the same on that “try again” pop up? For example: right now Riker just started an 8 hour task for sunscreen and if i want to fast forward that it will cost 15 clams. So, after i do that then the popup box will ask if i wanna fast forward again right away with clams… Will that be 15 AGAIN or does that cost tend to be a bit lower for the try again right away with clams option? Im really trying to weigh my options if i end up needing to use clams to finish stewie since there is no direct buyout for him. Thanks for the help 🙂

Yup. Try again is a set cost. At times it may be cheaper than an outright buy out on an item. The tricky part is with speeding… if it is not an ALWAYS drop, trying again will not guarantee you will get one each time

I got Talosian Stewie! And I purchased Guinan, so I have FOUR people battling the 3rd round of Borg Bertram. 😀
I’m just down to 100 dilithium crystals, and don’t see how I’ll get the 8K for Jean-Luc Picard. I doubt I’ll come close to getting Captain Kirk. Thankfully I already allotted the 4K crystals needed for Data, so I will be getting him eventually.

I think u’ll b ok. A day and a half ago I got Picard & payed up on Data. Dropped me down to around 100 Dilithium, yet I’m already almost up to the 4000 I need for T Stewie.
Hang in there. W a touch of diligence & the strategy the Addicts provide, I think everything is within reach.

They did have an American dad event last year before or after Halloween I believe. I loved that event as I’m a huge AD fan so hopefully they’ll do it again this year as I believe I read they plan to do at least Halloween and Christmas again. I would love to see an Avery Bullock costume for Patrick.

Please help! I sent my characters to beat Beltram, and after everyone was done and the timer ran out I didn’t get any dark matter whatsoever! My dilithiums were low too. What’s going on?

Was the heart meter to Zero BEFORE the time ran out? You have to kill him BEFORE time runs out or he will reset

Can we get the creators to get Cleveland more involved? I mean not for this event but in the overall game itself. I don’t remember the last time he had any dialogue. Maybe the halloween event… I know he was a event his self and some people might not have him but he’s a major character. I wouldn’t mind if they made him available for coins to other players or even for free or a small amount of clams where they can buy him with no time limit. I just want to see him talk more and have more to do with events. I love Cleveland.

I would love to see a way to get Cleveland without the 400 clams. Even if it was a ridiculous fee from coins or something. He’s the only main character I am missing, and every time I get 400 saved up, something big (like the ST event) sucks them dry for other things that are limited to get during an event. I’ve already spent $40 on ST to make sure I have all the new premium ones unlocked, but I would REALLY like to have Cleveland in my town!!!

You sure you been playing since day one? Did you play the Kingdom of Full Moon Event? That is when he first hit the game as an earnable Character.

Hmm I don’t remember having to earn him… I thought I got him due to event problems making it too hard so it was a reward? Or am I thinking of something else XD

Nope… that was the same event. Some earned him… others struggled, so if you got to a certain point you were able to get his house and continue working on gettting him.

I’ve been reading and waiting for more specific info Borg Bertram, if the answer is already posted somewhere I apologize for asking about what’s already answered but I have tried finding it for the better part of 2 days and can’t see it anywhere. I’ve beat the third level Bertram several times now, I don’t get a payout of dark matter (only the first time) but he keeps respawning as the third level form I think it’s laser Bertram after his 4 hr time out with his timer ticking down 24 hrs, the final 2 stages are still locked, problem is I’m keeping my 4 characters fighting him because I don’t want to go back to phase 1. Now I’m waiting on Stewie’s newest costume to finish up in Al Harrington’s so I guess that will free up 1 of my guys since I know i can get him with 4, but I’m wondering if it’s necessary for me to keep defeating the laser phase over and over or if I can just ignore him when he gets out of time out this time, it’s getting a little repetitive investing all this time for nothing in the end, if u have any info about it i would really appreciate it.

You are doing it exactly as you need to. You continue Battling Bertram over n over n over to jump your Material counts. You want to keep him on the highest level as possible to keep earning those higher counts. If you do not completely remove all his hearts when the timer hits zero, he will cool down and go back to the lowest (CLaw). So keep trying to defeat him at the highest. You should keep getting Dark Matter everytime you clear that heart meter completely.

Thank u! I actually just checked my dark matter count and I have 22 which I don’t think would add up if I only got 1 payout for each of his 3 stages;
I got the deal for buying clams, and I made all the stuff in the replicator other than Cpt. Kirk.

I just don’t remember seeing it drop again after the first time; I’ll be beating stage 3 again in about 5 hrs so I’ll check if I have 32 dark matter when he goes to timeout this time 😃 I just hope the next 2 stages unlock soon, u don’t happen to have an idea when that will be do u? I’m hoping they unlock before the next core upgrade. Thanks again for ur help and for this site, I spend many, many hrs here browsing around while I’m waiting on stuff in my Quahog 😀

Awesome sermon at church today with some hot weather outside, you asked about gardening. Potatoes and Dixie lee peas were planted. Potatoes are looking beautiful and the peas are starting to come up been almost two weeks since planted I think. Hope y’all’s weekend is going well.

Just noticed, the Borg assimilated James Woods High drops 10 Dilithium and 2 Starfleet XP(numbers could be wrong) and there is a chance of the food for Data. I know they have done it with previous events, but I didn’t think about it for this event and it’s a nice little touch for a Muster Box prize.

I love the Heranus Mystery Box, my favourite prizes are in there and it’s cheaper! I bought the clam deal to save up for Kirk, but I got Picard first as he can help in battles. I got all of the prizes from the Heranus box, then I got 12 dark matter(3 lots of 4), and 3 lots of 125 clams! I spent more than I intended to on them but I made lots of it back again. I wish the Cat and Kitten NPCs did something when tapped, but I like them. I would like to get the Tribble Fur shop, the Gorn, and the NPC from the second box mainly, not as fussed about the other items, but they are quite expensive and it looks unlikely that I would get them. Heranus seemed to give me all of the items before extra clams and dark matter. I’ll save the rest for Consuela(unlikely but waiting in case there is a deal for her on account of the skin, doubt it though as she had one recently), new characters/skins/buildings, and unlocking event characters if I don’t get the items before the end. Sorry, huge post. Thanks to Bunny and Alissa for all of the great and useful posts about the event, and everything else in the game! Your work is fantastic and I cannot thank you enough for what you do and the number of times your posts have saved me from fuss in my game!

I’m really enjoying this phase of the event, with the drop rate of items being pretty good I’ve been able to just relax and have fun with it. I’ve already got the outfit for Picard, thanks to the Dark Matter I got from the Clam deal. I got Talosian Stewie before I went to sleep last night, so I now have all 5 characters attacking Bertram so I’m able to keep the streak at its max. For Data I only need 5 Floppy Disks, 5 Cat Food, and 12 Anti Virus Software. I love what they’ve done with Spock as a Clam purchase, with some of the proceeds going to the Nimoy Foundation, this made him an instant purchase for me.

Congratulations!! It’s great to see someone advancing this level at a good clip. I’ve been on the game every 2 hours am light years from Data and need two more sunscreen for Talosian Stewie. The drop rate for Anti-Virus is 13% and 8% for Sunscreen in my game.

Who would you recommend getting first? Picard or Talisman Stewie? I just finished getting Stewie requirements, but I have 7000 dilithium. I’m going back and forth between waiting another 1000 to get Picard first or getting Stewie then building up another 5000. It’s the same amount either way, I just don’t know if either character is more beneficial than the other.

I fully agree with this. I’m very happy they are adding original series characters, but I almost wish they kept it to Kirk and Spock, or just them and Khan. If a 3rd starfleet officer was to be added it should have been Bones, not Scotty. They were the trio. And I would have thought he had plenty of catchy lines to use. But I am still very happy in general that in this TNG heavy event TOS wasn’t skipped entirely. I bought Spock pretty much the second I saw he was available and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Now just to earn Kirk.

Suggestion for TinyCo – a great decoration for Quahog would be Holodeck tiles. Much like how they put in the lava stream a few months ago, the hologdeck tiles can be connected. I think it would look cool.

Why did they make Spock look so angry? And Vulcan Quagmire looks a little angry too. I think I’m missing something here.
Spock was an instant buy for me. And I’m very happy and thankful they put a memorial statue in game for us. Bravo to Tinyco for that. RIP Leonard!

I really need to see where my characters are when I task them on the Enterprise. It seems everyone likes hanging out in the doorways and hiding while doing their tasks. Apparently, I must be a cruel task master and they don’t want my critical eye watching them. I try to refrain from cursing them out but sometimes they are just too well hidden and I can’t help myself. Luckily, they have to put the thumbs up signal when they are done or my ship would seem deserted.

So I have noticed that people are worried about needing a lot of dilthium, I was worried too, I also had about 180 LSE sitting unused so I made myself a farm of Earl Grey’s. I built 32 of them and if I collect from them six times a day that’s 960 DC. I wish I had done it a week ago.

Coming at ya from Calgary Alberta where I am at the Calgary Expo getting my inner nerd on with a couple actors from Star Trek (Voyager) & various animators but I’m here for the Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, and Agents of Shields actors. The entire main cast of Star Trek The Next Generation was here in 2012. Just wish it was warmer!
