Guess What??!! I just bet you KNOW what I am gonna say don’t you? DELAYED! Per TinyCo, just a short one… I hope. Lol. I know I know… no venting needed. I think y’all said it already. So… what to do?
Take a look round and make sure you are prepared.
If you want to get a jump on the next Borg Battles, then don’t check off those fighters just yet. (Unless of course time is running out). So for those of you with 3 or more to fight… get them ready to do a LOT more. FYI, if you did not notice, Guinan is now a 2-3 hit.
For those still with only 2 fighters for Borg, you may want to wait on Upgrading last core to make the fight a lil easier until you are prepared. See more on Borg Battle tips HERE.
Starfleet XP needs to be to Level 10, so if you need a boost AND have the Materials to spare… look at some items to create. Romulan Bar takes no Dilithium and a good jump. Casket Ejector takes a miss and is a HUGE bump.
Other than that… hang in there. We will update the site once it hits. 😉
Remember, if you feel you need to vent… take it to the What The Deuce. Otherwise… ONLY POST HELPFUL TIPS FOR OTHERS REGARDING THE UPGRADE HERE. 😉

I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to do this last upgrade because it was taking me forever to get past level 8, much less make it to 10 in time. But today when I finally made to to the end of 8, instead of going to level 9, I went to 10! Witch meant I was able to upgrade! Yay tiny co! Didn’t realize that boost they sent out today would let me skip a whole level!

Just checked my warp core. the screen shrank and then went back to normal, but that’s it. now if I click on it, it just says “Warp Core”. However, I do have a new quest. Illusion Confusion Pt. 1—Have Talosian Stewie Create Illusions

OK the weirdest thing just happened. I was only about a quarter of the way thru level 9 when I just opened up the game it automatically bumped me up to level 10! Is Tiny Co. making sure we all have access to the last part of the game regardless of what level we were at?

I logged in a min ago and it had a check mark above the warp core so I clicked but the only change is that I can’t interact with the warp core anymore? anyone else see the check mark pop up?

It’s delayed again because Tiny Co. needs more time to count fingers and toes to verify the once again ever increasing number of items and crystals that will be needed.

The fact that Tiny Co has delayed most likely means they are brewing coffee too. That (amongst other things) gives us a common link, they are just people, er I assume. To coffee!! I mean to People! Thanks again to Tiny Co for making this great game, and to Bunny and Alissa for this great site!

Lol. I have been asked to make one for P vs Z many times along with a few other. Just not enough time in the day or I’d love to help out more gamers all over.
As far as Meg… we have been told that was the only time this event. Now they may bring her back later after… if there is enough requests. So that is up to you to send them a message making the request via your game and see what happens. 😉

Me too! I made seven. I have so little Dilithum what a great tip. Hopefully will be able to earn back the synthesizer ore for kirk….but I think it will be possible. 🙂

I love this site ☺ its been so useful when I’ve been stuck or trying to figure out a strategy.
One question though, the romulan ale bars use up synthesiser ore that you need 50 of for Kirk (even though I think he’s going to be ridiculously hard to get, I’d at least like to try since I used all my saved clams on Spock) Other than quest related spending I’ve not used any but still only have 40 saved up. I’ve been using every possible way to get them (2 rooms, bonnie constantly, Borg etc) have I missed something? I feel like I should have more?

Perfect! I actually laughed. That’s one of my favorite FG episodes.
EVERY single update for this event, I timed all my jobs to be finished just before the update so I could have everyone available if they were needed for anything. Not this week. I just let them go and figured they would be late again.

Only 1 health bar left on Bertram with 4 characters that just finished their 4 hour task. Do I take him out now or wait until phase 6 so when he awakens he will be at higher level? Hope that makes sense.

If you have time to wait… try to wait. That way he will cool down and come back as the new level Boss if you triggered it by then.

D’oh…oops. I tried to be smart since Bertram just came back at level 3 and accidentally set JLP to do Picard maneuver. So he is now out of the rotation so either I wait 4 hours to get him back in sync or send him back in two and then wait for six to get him back.

Nowhere CLOSE to Dilithium as I don’t have any characters outside of Meg to spare sending on missions and have had luck getting 450 at one drop.
Just to try to catch up SOME, per your suggestion, I’m not the proud owner of 17 Romulan bars. Just kinda figured “Why not?” guven how far behind I am. And now I’m level 10 and can collect 340 extra every 16 hours or whatever which is better than nothing. It’s great advice if anyone else has a ton of the fuels to spare. Even though it’s prolly already been said in another post, thanks for posting it again!

All of the non-Dilitihum replicator items that give (worthwhile) XP need Synthesizer Ore, which is needed for Kirk and possibly more, I’ll have to hold off and see what’s available in the last stage before deciding what to do as my Synthesizer Ore drops are very slow.

Makes sense. Only use what YOU feel you can spare. Don’t risk it if you can’t see what the next stage brings. It won’t hurt to delay a lil to find a possible better option. 😉

Not related to Star Trek, but just noticed that if you skip a character task, they pop back to the end of the list, rather than coming back to the front after you assign the next one….not sure how else to explain it more clearly, but sure like this better than the old way…I know several times it has been asked for, so glad they did it.

So I had 2 damage left on Borg Bertram and I had Geordie firing away at him. With about 2 hours left on Geordie’s time, I sent Chris in to make sure I had enough damage to defeat Borg Bertram Geordie ended up defeating Borg Bertram but Chris kept on firing. I left Chris to fire until Borg Betram came back even though the task had finished 2 hours prior. When I cleared Chris, 1 damage was taken from Borg Betram and I sent him right back in with the rest of the crew. So assuming you only have 1 or 2 damage left to defeat him, it looks like a good strategy may be to send everyone you can just before Borg Bertram is defeated and wait to clear the task until after he reawakens. Then you can get a jump and send everyone right back in to fire phasers.

Ok. Last week was over 6 hour delay…previous few have been a few hours. Send everyone on a 1 or 2 hour task, get those precious crystals. I know I still need almost every single one required for Kirk.

For the first time since the event began, I’m mildly please by this week’s delay. I’m a *smidge* away on the Level 10 warp core upgrade and have 2 items left to get for Data, so an hour or more delay is perfect 🙂

If I am getting ready to defeat the highest lvl Borg for the first time during this streak, then it should be OK to check off, wait for the 4 hr cool down period and when he wakes up the next level Boss should be there right? You know what I mean? I mean to defeat the next level Bertram, you have to defeat the previous, so I might as well defeat the previous to be ready sooner for the new lvl coming up. Do you think the delay will be more than 4 hrs?

People think that we at the Addicts can be spoken down to or abused for your own personal amusement and we are tired of it. This is OUR site. I would like to know how a “donation” of a lil more than 600 Clams now and then is a “pay off” for Myself and Alissa? Who is paying for the 20,000+ Clams I have paid for in just this event in my own personal Game? How about my two other test games? Who is paying for that? Who is paying for the 15,000+ that Alissa has paid for in her personal game? How about her secondary test game? Guess who pays for that… this site… its upkeep… its legal fees… etc… WE DO!!!
So if you are looking for someone to abuse and treat like crap, you can find yourself somewhere else to go.
We are here to HELP others. Not be your personal abuse toy. So take it somewhere else. Your treatment is what brings things like our moderation into play and also is what puts your kind of comments into the trash bin.
I find it a personal insult and despicable you assumed abusing two PLAYERS trying to help OTHER players as something OK. It is not. There… off my chest… out of mind… move along. This is not the site you are looking for. Have a FANTASTIC Day!!! 😉

I am glad you are getting some helpful tips. It is why we do what we do. We were there and frustrated with the other game that the help wasn’t there, so Addicts was created. When we saw this game coming, we wanted to do the same as I was sure I was gonna play it so I wanted to share what I could learn with others again and again. I LOVE helping others. It is what I do in my daily life outside the game. show. Just makes me sad to see in a world with so much hate and abuse… that those that help are treated the way they are. Help is what we need to make the world better. Happiness is what we all need more. Laughter. FUN!!! 🙂

It’s comments like the one above that really tick me off. I made a comment last week to another very negative post. You didn’t permit it and I know why. I stepped over the line. So I will try a different tact. My mother once told me, when I was “knee high to a grass hopper,” if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. Just gets old really fast hearing “you work for them”. Or someone knocking the fact we want our site to be fun (as games should be) and not Troll City. If I worked for them… they owe me a HUGE check of over a year’s worth of pay, overtime, and more. I would be able to retire on that amount calculating the hours put in on OUR site. If I wanted to live in Misery… I would go read some FB comments. Lol. 😛

Really… despicable? I guess deflecting complaints to another thread is just the worst possible thing that could have happened to you. These bloggers actually communicate our complaints to TinyCo to try to help us, and put a lot of effort into this site. Have you thought that maybe it’s easier for them to have all of the complaints together so they can tally common complaints and problems and relate them to the game designers?

Still working on those last darn antivirus software for Data. Everything else is checked off. About halfway on Darkmatter for Kirk and working on the Dilithium for him. I’m ready for the last phase and getting the last 4 characters! I have collected all of them so far and probably will finish the collection.

Thank you SO much for the Romulan Ale Bar tip! I must have missed it in your Crystal post, but I didn’t realize that you could make multiples of the Replicator items once they were checked off. I’m trying to conserve crystals, so I made too Bars and am very close to Level 10 now. I think I’m going to wait until morning to upgrade anyway (because of Bertram Battle timing) and that was a huge help. Thanks for the game-saving advice!

Thanks for the bar tip! I was 3 bars away from 10 and didn’t want to be late to the party. I have tons of all energy types so it was a no brainier, only took 4 buys. I’m actually all ready for the next phase, only need two AV for Data and just the dilithium for Kirk which I expect I will get from the battles.

I have a question that is unrelated to the Star Trek event. I seem to be missing the Big Bubbly Fountain decoration from District 8, I’ve looked through the shop and my inventory and have been unable to find it. I know they didn’t remove it because I can find it with ease on my PC version… Any idea what’s happening or should I contact TinyCo?
