Those two lil shadows in the Originals Group in FaceSpace have now beamed down to your Quahog and are awaiting your decision. Will YOU get Scotty and Khan!!
Typical TinyCo has snuck in a weekend “deal” to bring the option of two more Characters from Star Trek: The Original Series into our Quahog’s. So just what is the offer? This is a combination of Acquired Character and Clam Characters.
When you first jump into your game, Peter has a ! over his head to let you know something new is going on. Tapping on Peter triggers a dialog with him “Saving Scotty”, Khan, and Locutus. (So let Picard and Peter free for just a bit to see if they trigger it.) Once done, you see the offer…
In order to bring Scotty into your game, you will need to have unlocked Locutus from the Bridge and have him in your game. On top of that, you will need to purchase Spock for 265 Clams, then also pick up the New Character Khan for 265 Clams.
If you get all 3, then you will receive Scotty for FREE. 
The Free Scotty will be beamed into your Inventory. Just place him into your game to unlock him. (Notice my glitching Kirk too. I already got one in the game.)

Some benefit of this purchase is that you will complete “The Originals” set in FaceSpace and receive 50 Clams in return.

Now let’s take a peak at each of the New Characters…
Khan: 265 Clams. Comes fully tasked. Drops Dark Matter (Always), Dig a Grave 18hrs. 6 Tasks. Two Visual tasks. (No additional questline triggered yet.)
Scotty: Free with Completed Offer. Comes fully tasked. Drops Dark Matter (Dropped Always for me), Play with Model Enterprise 18hrs. 6 Tasks. Two Visual Tasks. (No additional questline triggered yet.)
Neither are voiced right now in my game, but will update if that changes.
UPDATE: Got sound back now! Here are some of their phrases. Remember, both of these amazing actors have passed on, so the clips were pulled from where they could get them…(Love hearing their accents.)
Khan:
“I of course…remember you”
“Let’s be friends”
“That’s better”
Scotty:
“The Warp Drives are a hopeless pile of junk”
“The Bridge Controls started going crazy”
“Don’t do it Captain”
Their questlines have now triggered too. More on that later but here are the names.

Remember, it is YOUR choice if you spend any of your precious Clams. Make sure it is what YOU want. Will it make YOU happy to have? In the end, the decision is YOURS to make. Do what makes YOU happy and brings YOU joy. 😉

Did you trigger his timer already?
If you did and the timer is gone… then so is Scotty. If you did NOT trigger the timer… then you will have the count down from the time you do to get them all and get Scotty.

To bad let left out Doc Mcoy….aka Bones that would have been cool. Have a lot of you unlocked Kirk? I dont want to waste drops on Joes costumes, much rather have Kirk! I’d give up all 54, 292 of my crystals to get kirk…. 🙂

Is there any word on why Khan and Scotty have both list the actors voices? Is this a temporary fix due to the earlier volume complaints, or will they no longer be using the original voice clips?

From what I am being told…the first batch was “placeholders” and this one is the correct ones they have to use. I don’t know the ins n outs or legalities… but that’s the feedback I got.

Remember, we are REAL life people. That means we need to take a break now and then, sleep, eat, spend time with our families. I have been running this site solo pretty much all event. So patience. Your responses are waiting.
The ONLY time they will be pulled is if you turn a helpful post into a vent session that belongs on WTD, bashed another person on the site, posted something against our guidelines, etc. We get people get frustrated when things do not go your way, but please don’t turn it into ruining all our hard work and effort on helpful posts to supply other readers with helpful tips. Many come here seeking help and it is unfair they have to wade through page after page of anger and hate to find the answer on the post they are looking on. Stick to the subject and it flows better. 😉

Have they lost the rights to use Ricardo Montelban and James Doohan’s voices? Sounds like the character voices have changed to second-rate imitations of the real Khan and Scotty.

Yeah really disappointed with the new Scotty voice. He only ever says two phrases for me anymore and the accent is just bad.

Really disappointed too. Also, my wife spent $5 on clams so she could get Scotty when she heard him say “hello computer” from Star Trek IV in MY game. When she finally got him, the voices were different >_<

I have got The Scottie. He is in full swing, however; he is still in my inventory with a pad lock on him, WITH another smaller version of him, behind himself.(That was tough to write). Have I missed something, or is there more to The Scottie? 🙂

Mine is showing a timer so I guess once the timer ends then I will not get Scotty with Khann? I almost have enough clams but WTD 265 which created my problem of getting him. I may stay up to see if I can another five clams from the the Borg planet. I only need one more for 215 then I can buy 50 which will not break the banks. 😦 only four or five hrs left 😦

I’m in the same boat. I think I have all the pre-requisites for Scotty, but can’t find how to get him. Does Locutus need to do something? I currently have Picard fighting Bertram.

Idk if you can help me but I have contacted Tinyco 12 times and still no answer from them. Also doesn’t Matt who send or to where the payout is always low.

There is no one to respond on the weekends. Best ways are from your game or email. Make sure you watch for ANY response including the automated ones.
Also keep in mind, suggestions and feedback usually will not get a response. Only technical issues that have not already been addressed on their Facebook, Twitter, FAQ.

Finally defeated the final Borg Bertram and the 50 dark matter appeared on my screen but did not go register on my dark matter total??? I was so looking forward to getting Captain Kirk too…..a glitch?

I got Khan and Scotty; I’ve basically decided to get all the premium Star Trek characters. I will have enough dark matter and cubes for Kirk tomorrow, but I only have about 8500 dilithium. I’ve been sending Lois and Quagmire to the Borg cube, though, and they have brought back 500 crystals three times. Between them and top-level Bertram, I should have Kirk before the event ends.
I could create Captain Pike Joe now, but I’ve been saving up for Kirk instead. Does Pike do anything to bring in major crystals?

I got scotty yesterday. Did 1 task with him and now he is gone completly. My game luckily has not crashed, yet Lol. Tried reinstall. Was able to send email to tinyco.

I got em (mostly for Scotty), they both dropped dark matter after their tasks. Worked out well, they dropped right when I was at 149 so I got Kirk without waiting another day battling Bertram for one damn dark matter lol.
It’s a little strange they went with the movie era; I get Khan being more recognizable that way but Kirk, Spock, and Scotty should match at least. I’m on “All She’s Got Pt2” and his mission icon is a younger version from TOS, maybe he has more than one skin?

Nope. Just different options of visuals in the game. Just like you see Characters beaten up in some parts, but later just fine.

I know it’s kinda not related to this post, but how many clams does it cost to continue where you left off after letting the timer of cannon borg Bertram run out?

That all depends on you. How far down his heart meter was when it timed down.

Khan did not drop a dark matter for me after his 18 hr task, so must not be an always, Scotty however did. Have only run them completely through the task one time so far. Voices could use some work, some phrases hard to hear/understand, for me anyway.
I got these guys cuz I’m a fan of the original series, and happy I got them regardless of what they do/don’t drop. If you’re thinking of getting them for Just last minute help in the event, I would advise to save your clams for now.

Khan should. He is tagged as an ALWAYS. Let them know if he did not. Also double check your counts. One may have dropped… but not visually.

Yep, positive on the count, it only went up by one and was definitely Scotty who dropped the one. I’ll try to in game message them, but my game is crashing horribly right now, can’t do much of anything. I’m more concerned about losing my place with the Bertram battle than the one dark matter right now.
