I’ve got all the characters I needed to shoot ships for, but I still have 38 Phaser Energy crystals. Is there anything else to do with them? Is there a reason to continue to shoot ships?

Even though I’m fairly new to the game (I started after Star Trek hit and have only unlocked through the hospital so no Brian and more importantly, Stewie, yet) I feel like I’m doing pretty well.
By the looks of things I’ll only have enough Dilithium to unlock Talosian Stewie or Captain Pike Joe, not both. Any thoughts about which I should pick? I’m not 100% sure I’ll have enough dark matter since I only have three characters to attack Bertram anyway, so it may be a moot point.

Looks like I’m out of the game for the rest of the event and who knows how long. The game kept crashing every time I clicked on the checkmark for Pike Joe completing his first task. I decided to download the latest app In the apple store and it crashes on startup. Luckily I created an account a few days ago so I deleted the app, restarted my iPad, downloaded it and it still crashes on startup, the first time near the “b” of best, and when I restart, on the “y” of Play on the bottom bar. I’ve emailed Tinyco but I don’t thing ill be playi g before the event is over… So much for getting Kirk. I’m on iOS 6.1.3 btw

DOUBLE WTD!!! Did they change both Scotty’s AND Khan’s voice in the game?! Doesn’t even sound like them at all! They should have kept the dialogue the same! – WTD

Has there been a major change to the voices of Khan and Scotty? It sounds like they have changed to second-rate imitations of the actual actors. Have they lost the rights to use Ricardo Montelban and James Doohan’s voices? If so, this is a real let-down.

I am addicted to this game but it is getting down to the wire and I dont think I will get joe ibarely got picard and I havent got a prayer of getting kirk. I wanted to finish the challenges but I dont have enough crystals. Hoping these tips will help get more crystals, but you need so many and the drop rate is so slow

A little disappointed. I’ve been a 100% freemium player for almost a year now. In every event except this one I’ve been able to pretty much keep pace and at least participate in all the missions, let alone unlock most all of the characters and skins. With two days to go, because my drop rate for items and dilithium have been so poor, I haven’t even been able to unlock the holodeck let alone have anywhere near the required items needed to get even the quagmire skin. Looks like I won’t even get to battle Bertrum Borg one time! I get that I’m not going to have access to all the things and characters that the event has to offer because I dont/ can’t buy clams, but I thought this was a little ridiculous, especially after reading posts of freemium players obtaining all characters and skins. I still enjoy the game and will continue to play, I just am very disappointed with this event.

I really hope the give us an extra week!! Pretty please. I’d love to get Captain Kirk, and the Pike Joe outfit, but I think I’m barely going to collect enough Dark Matter to get Picard. I can only fight with Geordi and Klingon Chris so it’s slow going. I’ve unlocked Stewie’s outfit, but I’m not far enough in the game so I don’t have Stewie unlocked quite yet. I wish I had the money to splurge, but even if I did the characters and rooms wouldn’t give me enough dark matter in time. Here’s hoping we get just one more week.

Wtd: Picard cost me 42 dark matter due to a glitch in my game (been reported but no response yet). I have Kirk now but its left me just short for Joe

I am short on crystals. I was optimistic reading comments from people saying they’d sent one character to Acapella and gotten the big payouts, resulting in thousands of crystals, but every time I’ve sent someone, they’ve come back with 15. I take comfort in the fact that there are others in the same boat as me, as far as unlocking characters. Misery loves company. So our complaints earlier when Bunny said we had plenty of time were not unfounded. As in other events, this one will come down to the wire for me again and I will not get everything I had hoped for. C’est la vie.

The dilithium drop rate is kinda sad, even after buying multiple buildings, going to planets with high payout rates (which I never get), and the usual every day tasks/buildings…. really wish they would extend the event by a couple days. I don’t know if I will get Picard or Joe, both are good with everything, except for needing 7,000+ dilithium still, and I get on avarage 1,000 a day… I know Kirk is completely out of question, unless I buy more clams, already spent $20, and I said I wouldn’t spend a cent, had to in order to do some of the stuff in the alotted time (time where I wasn’t working, sleeping or having a social life).. Just hope the next event isn’t as crazy. I’m surprised I never gave up, wanted to so many times!
Awesome job with everything, Bunny amd Alissa! I really don’t think I’d be half as far as I am without you two, and everyone elses great tips!

Only if I have time to check in multiple times a day… 🙂 I have gotten to level 4 once. The payout was nice, now I’m waiting to start over with 1 again. I know I wouldn’t be able to finish level 5 in only 16/24 hours with 3 people.

WTD people? Stop complaining that Patrick Stewart & George Takei didn’t get skins during this event. Not everyone has these two characters and it would not be fair to them to make skins. They would have to be two new characters (hence Locutus/Picard) and since we already had a bizillion new characters to unlock, this would not have be favorable either.

Wtd! I have reached out to Tinyco 14 times and no response. I have reached out to you guys 3 times and no response. Why is it every event something goes wrong with my game and I CA not find help anywhere. The Warbird and borg cube only drop xp now and I still need items for data. Riker and Mort have stopped dropping sunscreen, I only need one more (I have been trying for 3 days now) sent all 3 o the borg cube away mission and only received 10 dilithium crystals and 5 xp, I have done this at least 4 time with the same result. I am super disappointed, Tinyco waits until 3 days after the event ends to say “sorry for the delay in answering your questions, if you are still experiencing these problems please contact t us with you player information.” Well what good is it after the fact? There are 4 people in my house who play this game and I had 4 other players join with in the last 2 months and I know each one spends real money on clams so idk why they refuse to assist me. Is it b/c I don’t spend hundreds of dollars on clams? So frustrating.

Not sure what on earth you are going on about. Every time you message us, you have got a response. Just because it is not what you want to hear does not mean you are being ignored. We are not TinyCo. We have nothing to do with TinyCo. We do not have the ability to go into your game and fix it. Only they do. Keep in mind you are in line with a LOT of other players messaging them too. So your response from them won’t ever be instant. If it is a very time intensive issue… it will take longer to respond. If you get an automated message, it means they are weeding out those already fixed and keeping only those still needing help… so reply.
They also won’t reply to feedback, things like you feel payout is too low or drops too low. Those are mechanics of the event, not an issue.
So please don’t come on our site and state you get no help here when all we have been doing is helping you. 😉

Right… a little rant coming. I’m based in the UK, and as some of you may know, in December last year the High Court passed an act forcing the five big ISP providers to block all torrent and streaming sites. For those of us who like to watch online when the programmes come out in the States, this was a bit of a blow… some more so than others. For example, The Walking Dead is shown in the UK the day after it is in the States, so hardly a problem; The Simpsons seems to have caught up so it’s only a week behind now, and I would have liked to have watched it today, but c’est la vie. However, many series have much greater delays, like Family Guy which is a full season behind, and American Dad which (as far as I can tell) is years behind… and that’s not even mentioning the many series we don’t even get over here.
I was using Cucirca to watch my programmes, and even after the ban, it wasn’t long before proxy sites sprung up everywhere, so it was easy enough to still get online; however, the High Court has now included all these proxy sites in their ban as of last month, and my last working one went down yesterday. Now, before anyone gets on their high horse about piracy and copyright infringement, I’ve never watched a film online as I prefer to watch those on the big screen and on a big TV (I have a DVD collection that would have put Blockbusters to shame), and I always watched the TV episodes I watched online again, when they premiered on TV in the UK. I’m sure I’m in the minority of users, though… I just like to watch my programmes as soon as I can.
My issue is with how much of a big brother society my country has become. If you think you’ve got it bad in the States, try coming across here. 65 million people living on this tiny little strip of land, and now over 6 million surveillance cameras. It seems that whenever there’s a little joy to be had over here, someone in government gets together with the lawyers and health and safety and goes out of their way to remove it. It may be safer and less lawless over here than a lot of places, but the offset is that it’s mostly bloody boring and what there is left to do is so expensive… there’s hidden taxes everywhere, as all this legislation that no-one really wants has to be paid for somehow. My girlfriend is from New Zealand, and has been over here for nearly 20 years, but more and more recently, we’ve been discussing emigration back to her native Kiwiland, as neither of us can see many factors for staying in the UK anymore.
I know this sounds like a harsh rant simply because I couldn’t watch the latest episodes of the Simpsons and Family Guy, but it’s just another bit of icing on the cake as far as I’m concerned.
Anyway… does anyone know of any sites that are still active as of this point?

Theres no way im going to get enough dilithium and i pkay all day andthe only thing ive bought is what its told me to. And some darn decos to up my fx level to uograde my warp. Ive never been so low on event currency before. This may just be the end for me. I don’t know if ill be able to get over nnot having all characters. I keep waiting for a last minute vhange but i dont think itll happen

I’ve no doubt these things have been mentioned by others but I figured I’d bring them up anyway (it’s goo to vent).
Overall the last week of this event has been a real let down for me. Both of the Enterprise rooms that they held back and Consuela’s outfit are locked behind clam walls, plus I already had plenty of materials to buy the two replicator items (as I’d been doing the room swap trick when it was available) almost instantly.
So the only thing I actually have to do all week is grind the materials needed for Joe and Kirk. I got Joe pretty quickly thanks to my saved Phaser crystals and beating Bertram so now I just need to do Kirk.
I did drop all my saved clams to get the premium characters but their quests (and indeed the main quests) all keep requiring long tasks from the people I need to fight Bertram. Seriously two eight hour tasks AND a twelve hour task for La Forge, plus repeated tasks for Picard as well. Why do they keep doing this? There are plenty of other Trek characters (Riker, Crusher, Klingon Meg etc) that all have nothing to do and can’t fight Bertram – so why do they insist on choosing the few characters that are needed to beat him for story progression? It boggles my mind.
Also I already did the Kool Aid man questline once before – so don’t really want to do it again. Hopefully it vanishes – otherwise it can wait until the event is over.
Same mistakes as ever really (re: allocating characters for certain tasks) and an event that has sadly petered out…….

I know I’m in the minority, but I have hated this event. I loved Halloween and every other event I’ve ever played in this game, but the Star Trek one has felt like just a huge cash grab. It feels impossible to unlock the characters without rushing with clams. I’ve even bought premium characters that have had pretty much zero impact on my ability to win all the characters. I don’t know how anyone could win Kirk without filling your ship with premium rooms (which we might not ever see again after the event). I’ll be happy when this one is over.

WTD, the Bertram battles are insane, it’s not hard in anyway, I have four characters on him and it’s really just a case of setting alarms every four hours(very annoying later at night) but it’s disruptive to my every day life and this is the problem I’m having with this game, that it’s no real challenge as such but it requires constant attention which is getting to much, This event will be my last, Although I’m not stupid enough to spend hundreds of pounds for what is little more than a few simple animations, I am still getting way to involved in it due to the fact that I love the FG license.
With all that said, extending this event this event so I could get Kirk would be sweet as I’m also a massive TOS as well.

Strange glitch? I had 4 Star Trek people, Data, Dr Crusher, F. Mort and E. Herbert all doing 2 hours action within seconds of each other inside the turbolift. Then when there was 20 minutes to completion for the 2 hour actions, I had S Lois do a 1 hour action in the tube and she was instantly 20 minutes to completion!!! Also, while the other 3 characters clicked down the completion time seconds by second, Data’s and Lois’s time left were exactly the same and would stay the same time for 15-20 seconds then jump forward.

I truly hate the fact that these Yeti/Borg battles are limited to exactly 24h when the battles themselves are 4h long. It prevents the player from making the best use of the available time by doing 6 battles in a row if the player is willing to set an alarm time in the night. There are up to 3:59 going to waste even if you’re putting battles back to back due to animations and time required to set tasks again. Bertram should rather have a timeout of 24h10m or so to facilitate maximum battle opportunity.
The clam pricing of things like Joe’s new costume underscore the whole craziness also of what they are ‘costing’ in terms of drops. Over 1.400 clams are over 36 Euros real money! For a friggin’ costume!
I’ve managed to unlock Picard yesterday, enabling four character battles resulting in defeating the maxed Bertram in about 2 hours from now, taking me barely over the 65 Dark Matter required for Joe’s costume. This included saving two already finished battle participants from the previous battle to take their drops to the next one. I don’t believe that it’s actually possible (or at least reasonably likely) for all-freemium players to defeat Bertram without resorting to this trick. After that I’m officially done with the event as I sincerely doubt that I’d be able to collect the Dark Matter for Kirk in the remaining ~3d15h of the event. And I’m definitely not willing to wake up in two more nights just for another stupid and useless character or the disappointment of a failed battle and restarting the battle crap from the start.
Oh, and I’m quite angry (though not really surprised) that Spock is not really useful in the event. He definitely should be used for a multitude of stuff in the event he belongs to, particularly including participating in the Borg battle. I bet he will be as pathetically useless as previous premium purchases have been in the past. But I thought that I’d spend my clams now on something (and even including a donation to Nimoy’s foundation) before I likely will stop playing TQFS in the not too distant future.
Let me end this post with a quote from the TSTO’s Terwilliger event: “Make a senior conclude it’s all pointless”.

I don’t agree the Borg battles have been poor for freemium players – that is my wtd – no matter what Tiny do people always complain.
Last week you needed to defeat Bertram twice to get Picard. Once Picard was in the armory maintaining level three whilst waiting for Stewie for the final week was straightforward.
Level five battles with four freemium characters are easy – possible in 16 hours, usually done in 20, only occasionally and very unluckily will you have to spend 2 clams for an extra sixth hit or two.
As to adjusting the time I don’t think it is necessary – that would just increase hit points. Or make the timelines tighter. Particularly this final week having a full final four hours gives you flexibility during the day – you can slip ten minutes or a whole hour and not be disadvantaged. You should think of the sixth round-minus one minute as your extra ten minutes but more generous and useful.
I am not saying defeating level two Bertram was easy – with only two 1-2 characters you did have to be prepared to spend 4 clams per defeat. (But spending 8 of the tens of clams given away free (or through play) does not equal buying them,) And, yes, you still needed some luck – but if very unlucky it was still possible to scrabble through with two rebuilds to level 2

This happened to me kinda to. I had to wake up during the night to finish my last borg battle (because of course I missed my alarm during the morning and got a late start). But anyway, I had to set four alarms to beat him, and ended up having to spend thirty clams to speed up two characters for four hits. But I missed my last alarm and so he’s not defeated and I’m left pissed off. The thing is you shouldn’t have to set alarms at all hours of the night and morning just to beat some stupid borg. There should be some kind of rest mode for the fighting to be put on pause. WTD with tincyco thinking we should give up our sleep and WTD with me not waking up to alarms! Grrrrr

Miracles do happen… TOO LATE! Riker dropped the last tube of sunscreen I need for Talosian Stewie. With three days to go to beat Bertram, now I have to wait 24hrs for Bertram to reload so I can cycle through to beat him during the second 24hrs, then wait another 24hrs to reload which uses up my three days. Since I have to work an 8-hr day during that second 24hr phase, that means I have only a chance to defeat him 3-4 times, which will let me get Pike Joe but not Picard or Kirk. And on top of that, I need to earn another 4,000 dilithium for Joe. Guess it’s better than nothing.

I dunno, it’s all doable if you were willing to spend 40 bucks or so on this event…that ought to have covered all the premium characters. You def had to check the game more often to defeat Cannon Bertram which was tiring, but manageable assuming you had all 5 characters who fight him.
I would agree that the Enterprise ought not to be a ‘replica,’ it should just be the Enterprise straight up, and it ought to float just like the Borg Cube and the Warbird…for that matter, the Bird Of Prey should too.
There was (is) a mass onslaught of questlines, but they’re definitely manageable before event’s end once you get enough dark matter to get Kirk and the rest of the replicator stuff.
This was their best event yet. Getting the whole TNG cast to voice new dialogue for the game was quite a bonus. I wonder if we’ll get Wesley Wil Wheaton Crusher as an event bonus this week. 🙂

WTD Borg Consuela cost me 1050 clams! Insanity! And does anyone else think the enterprise deco looks pretty bad, especially compared to the Romulan Warbird, the Borg cube, and the Vulcan ship as well. Also very upset George and Patrick never got costumes.

You poor sod. I got her with the third try… and the first two netted me the Petercraft and the Borg Assimilated James Woods High. I don’t usually touch the mystery boxes as I prefer guaranteed return for my clams, but I must have been pretty lucky.

What the deuce?! You know what frustrates me? When some people get mad when the game is challenging and then they say it is boring because of that. If it wasn’t challenging then people people would say it’s too easy and get bored. Yet when it is challenging people still say it’s boring. Yes it is hard to collect the items and I know there is stuff I will not get but I get excited every event because the writing is so hilarious. Also when there is no event going on everyone complains that there is nothing to do and they wish an event would come up to make the game more fun! Tinyco has done so much for us like giving away free characters, clams, items, and other cool things. They have also gone in and tried to fix problems when they hear about them. Also they incorporate the fans ideas when they see them! Okay so they cannot please everyone but there is no point in bashing the game just cause some of you don’t like it. I love Tinyco’s little game and even though I do not like star trek I am fully loving the event right now! Tinyco deserved our love and respect especially since they have proven their love and respect for us fans. They have done so much for us and it upsets me when I hear fans gripe about how they don’t like an event but also gripe when there is nothing going on. If this upsets someone then I’m sorry but I felt this needed to be said.

I think that people are confusing frustration with boredom. Everything seems to be dragging out the event and it’s very time consuming. With only a few days left to obtain all the necessary items to complete collections it seems like a futile effort. I am just trying to get Talosian Stewie. Anything beyond that looks highly improbable.
I don’t think too many people will really get to the end of this quest.
The last couple of quests have been like this and I think it’s time for me to lay down my iPhone and find something better to pursue.

Unless the characters with 18h dark matter tasks drop 50 of them at the end of their task (which I highly doubt) they seem rather useless, given the stupidly high DM requirements for everything and how little time is left. I don’t think TinyCo have learned yet that a 2h task doesn’t mean people will do it 12x per day. No matter how short they make it, I still can’t play more than 2-3 times a day. And that clam price for Kool Aid Man is just ridiculous.

As a 100% freemium player I will end the event with every single player/skin that was purchasable. Sure I was behind by up to 8 days at points on unlocking them but in the end I’d call it a success. It was very difficult and required strategic play and alarm setting at night but that’s what it should. Easily their best even yet.
Oh I’m supposed to complain… um, well they still had balance issues throughout (which they mostly fixed during the event) which a proper beta testing should have removed.

I wish it was easier for freemium players to get dark matter. Just one other task or something other than Bertram.

Anyone else getting clams from the Borg cube mission and then not getting credit for them? This happened to be twice today and I wrote to TC but all I got was a form reply about the crashing issue. WTD??

You got a crash response as a main issue when something doesn’t add is connection/memory issue. Similar thing that causes crashing.
Just message them back what troubleshooting you’ve tried and what you’re missing.

It’s on Apple and has been all week. Apple has to OK the Update and then push it to their market. But its been done for a while now. So, waiting on Apple not TinyCO. 😉

Then WTD, why did they push a mandatory update that wasn’t properly tested and caused such severe problems that they couldn’t patch it. I just don’t believe anymore that this will be fixed before the event ends 😔

It was tested. They do not own every device available out their known to man. Nor do they have the same WiFi, game style, etc of over a million players. It would be impossible to test for EVERY thing. Then the game would never be made, launched, or updated. All they can do is provide as up to date programming as possible.
Just like a computer, some older version may not be compatible with something new. That has nothing to do with them. Sadly, that is just electronics of any kind worldwide.
They were on a patch right away… but waiting game in on Apple. So nothing to do with can’t be patched. 😉

My rule of thumb is if there’s an item from a mystery box, I’ll give it at least one try. I got Borg Consuela on the first try. I’m most disappointed they went Captain Pike Joe and no Sulu skin for George Takei. I still bought all the premiums, but i agree with everyone that 18 Hours tasks in the last week will give me what, 10 total dark matter? Not useful. Thumbs up to tiny co for the borg cube missions. Use all three characters and I’ve made 25 clams back so far, several thousand crystals, definitely a major help for this phase.

Also in other news my long distance girlfriend has barely spoken to me all month I know she might be busy with school and things but she use to tell me everything but lately we speak like once a week for at most 5min , she knows she can tell me anything I and I support her and is there for her if she ever needs me , that’s how was able to help her out of that abusive relationship she was in ( yes same one I mentioned before) but she still talks to him and he may have manipulated his way back into her life . Any advice

More for an Open Thread then here… I refer back to my previous comments… no matter what you do, it will be up to her to make the change and accept it. All you can do is stand by and watch. Give support when possible. Sorry. Otherwise you will get pulled down by it all.

I’m at highest betram cannon level, probably won’t finish in time. Any idea of number of clams to continue aka reset the 24 hrour clock at level 5? Otherwise I’m considering speeding the tasks once I get down to 30 min which is 2 clams per attacker (10 total).

I’m disappointed that there has been no Dilithium box. I now have 42,000+, I don’t really want to craft lots of duplicates from the replicator, but I may consider some of them. I had hoped there would be one, with the NPCs from this event, and maybe some of the free rooms on the Enterprise, such as the turbolift. Does anyone know if we will get those rooms? Lots of characters and skins have tasks that require rooms which come with the Enterprise, like Guinan’s Serve Drinks, or Crusher’s Treat Patients. I hope we can either keep those rooms with the actions, or get some other way of keeping the actions. I think I will use my Dilithium to buy lots of plants and walls, I will make an area for Starfleet with those buildings and maybe some sort of gardens. I will also make an area for all of the rooms, but I don’t know if they should be all put together in an extension to my Starfleet centre, or if I should make a recreation of the Enterprise, separating the rooms using the walls. I would like to try, but it probably wouldn’t look good given the positioning of the walls.

Where do you find walls? I was also wondering how to encase the rooms that we will be getting at the end, but if they did not provide some sort of structure, I was not sure what I was going to do.
Also, I have the same hope they offer something cool to spend the crystals on, or i am going to turn my quahog into one crazy botanical garden!

6 is the minimum, 10 the maximum you can expect from that combination. In the end it’s sadly purely random.

WTD, if I don’t have every character and skin unlocked when this event ends, I am done. No, seriously. Go ahead, laugh at me. But, I’ve managed to play and have a complete collection from the first week the game launched. Got PeePants, got KingButt, Cleveland, KoolAid, ALL characters and skins I’ve managed to get. Sorry if that’s not important to you, but for me and my OCD, it is. I’m a collector. If I miss Kirk and PedoHerbert and Data and Joe, nope. I’m done. Hope you enjoyed my $200+ I gave you JUST FOR THIS EVENT. But I will not look at an incomplete list of characters from here on out. I just won’t. And it’s not my fault. I can’t even rush Kirk. I’ve done the math, if I unlock Data, which I would have to clam rush him anyway, it’s still gonna take my Dilithium. I will not be able to make enough for Kirk. I certainly won’t make enough for Kirk AND Joe. I bought clam rooms and clam buildings. I’ve rushed EVERY character just to move this damn event along; I would not have Crusher, Quagmire or Pickard if I didn’t rush them. I think I rushed Riker, too. I can’t even remember anymore. Love the theme, love the look, but this has been some exceptionally bad execution.
I stress again that I’ve played from the beginning. I say this, because I’ve experienced some lags, glitches and crashes all throughout this time. Tjis is the most disappointing. Probably because this event is highly desirable; what with me being a total nerd and all. But honestly, I think I should invest the money I would put into this on lottery tickets. At least my odds of getting something would be better.
I want PedoHerbert, dammit! 😉 wah!! Ok, rant over… for now…

My WTD is a little involved, and just the overall event in general. I came into this event kind of happy. I knew nothing about Star Trek save for the fact that Patrick Stewart and William Shatner was involved with it at some point. Because of that I figured I would be all set to not spend money buying premium characters because I didn’t know who they were. Boy was I wrong. After falling behind with Troi because of the ridiculous drop rate of transporter energy vs. energy required to go (MAYBE) get chocolate I found I had to buy Worf to keep up. Sure, that’s not so bad, he’s a cool-looking alien guy, he has some fun tasks, I won’t mind having him in my town after the event ends. And I bought nothing premium for the Valentine’s Day one, so I can drop some money.
Then (flash forward here) comes the rest of the event. And my god, what an energy sapping, disappointing, pay-to-win event it has been. They simply put too much content in this one for it to be even plausible 100% freemium, or even mostly freemium. Where I’m at now I’ve accepted I won’t get Pike Joe, Picard, or Kirk at all. I ended up buying Q as well (which may have been the result of coming back from the bar and checking the game, making an irrational, Bud Light fueled choice) who wasn’t super helpful but I found myself liking his quotes and tasks so again, no great loss. I have to settle for missing some of the available content for this event. My end goal is getting Data, who I know I’m going to have to use clams to finish out on the last because the drop rate for Antivirus is so pitiful. This will be the first event I don’t collect every (Free) character and skin except for King Butt the first time, but let’s be honest such a small portion of the players did manage to get him. That just shows how invested I get in these events and in making sure I put in the time needed to really get what I can from these events. I do try really hard to get it all, and despite putting the same time in as with all other events, I’m finding myself accepting that it just isn’t feasible.
Worst of all though is how I feel we were treated during this event. I still appreciate all the hard work TinyCo puts in to make this game great. I really do. But, I think instead of learning from the past and listening in a timely manner, they are content to leave unfair or honestly absurd parts of the game in play until they release a premium fix, or change the odds 2 to 3 weeks after the issues arise. They tried to fit 7 weeks worth of stuff into 5 1/2 weeks. I got off easy because of how little I know about Star Trek. That affected greatly how reluctant and rational I was about spending clams. If i was a fan and was in this situation I was now however? I would be spending irrational amounts of money to make sure I get Picard and Kirk. The event was fun sure, but the amount of time I got stuck on Locutus and Crusher because of the insane amount of “Stuff” they needed really let me down. Just for kicks I started the event on my phone as well, just to see where a file that wasn’t super far could get (I had just unlocked Lois and check rarely on my phone). I got Riker no problem, and am working well on… Levar Burton (Can never remember his character’s name), but sure enough Kahn is available to be purchased. That file is nowhere near a place where he would be useful, but he’s available. And yes, I’m not naive. I remember this is a product, produced by a business, in order to acquire wealth as compensation for said product. I just think it’s important to realize that this game has such a passionate and involved fanbase, and it is important not to discount the attachment we have, and the compensation we feel should be given for our investment both monetarily and timewise. The general tone of this event for everyone seems to be dissatisfaction not with the event itself, but with the sheer amount of stuff to do and massive amount needed to be collected. Sorry for going on forever, just had to give my opinion.

What the Deuce!…I’ve left a crap ton on messages everywhere I can to try and get you guys to make it to where if we accidentally seta character to do something we can cancel it bc sometimes the game will freeze and then put a mission that I didn’t even pick!! PLEASE FIX THIS FAMILY GUY APP PEOPLE!!… oh and p.s. you make it dam near impossible to get everything unlocked during events bc I’m on it constantly and it still doesn’t help… just saying.

One more curiosity. Have Neil Goldman, Death and Evil Monkey been released into the game? I started playing in July 14 and the game was released in April 14. Curious if I missed them.
