Hello There Space Clammers!
Star Trek has taken over Quahog! A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders. (cause that sounds like a smart idea!) It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!
Along the way you’ll unlock skins/costumes for your favorite residents of Quahog…and Meg! These costumes will help you earn items needed to unlock other characters and more Dilithium Crystals, the much needed event currency for this event! During Phase 5 (week 5), there are a couple of costumes you can unlock, including Talosian Stewie. Let’s take a closer look at this costume and see just what happens when you unlock it in your Quahog…
Talosian Stewie is the seventh (or eighth, depending on order you unlock) skin in Star Trek that you’ll be able to unlock.
The questline Brain Swelling will prompt you to collect STUFF to unlock Talosian Stewie. However, you won’t find him in Al Harrington’s. First you’ll need to replicate him in the Replicator. Here’s a look at just what you’ll need to get Talosian Stewie onboard the Enterprise…..

Talosian Stewie is the last piece of the Trekkie Griffin puzzle & unlocking him (along with the others) will earn you 25 FREE clams! Freakin’ Sweet!
Talosian Stewie really doesn’t have a questline associated with unlocking him however, his primary role is to help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and help you earn items to unlock more characters!

I just started playing this game not too long ago. So I have yet to get to Bobs Funland to unlock Stewie in Quahog. Does that mean I can’t get Talosian Stewie to round out my Trekkie Griffins so I get the clam reward for that? Because when I click on Talosian Stewie in the FaceSpace thing, it says “you need Bobs Funland to unlock Stewie Griffin” I don’t want to start trying to get all the stuff you need to unlock Talosian Stewie just to find out I can’t find him because I don’t have regular Stewie yet.

You can have him waiting for you to unlock stewie. No worries. So go ahead if you want and pull together the needed items for Talosian Costume.

I don’t think Im going to get to Bobs Funland to unlock Stewie by the time the Star Trek event is over though. So even if I get the stuff to get Talosian Stewie it’s not going to matter if I don’t have regular Stewie, right? I won’t get those clams for getting all of the Trekkie Griffins?

If you get Talosian Stewie… he will sit in limbo until you unlock Stewie from Funland. Once you do, you can then go to Al’s to complete the Creation of Talosian Stewie, and as long as you got the rest of them from the collection and the collection still exists in Facespace… you will still get those Clams for the Character completion.

Will the Trekkie Griffins collection still remain in FaceSpace after the Star Trek event is over? Talosian Stewie isn’t in Al Harringtons, he’s in the replicator. And the replicator is on the Enterprise, so I don’t understand how I’d still be able to get him once the event is over.

If you make him NOW (collect all his Materials and create him). He goes into “limbo” for Al’s. Pretty much tucked into your Inventory Storage. But you have to get the Talosian Costume BEFORE the event ends.
Then later on down the road when you finally unlock Stewie from Bobs Funland, the Talosian Stewie Costume will be there waiting to put on him. Once you do… you will get the Clams for the Character Collection.
This is not the first time we have had the chance to get the Costume before we got the Character.

Okay thank you that clears things up. Also, Talosian Stewie has disappeared from the replicator. I currently have several characters doing 8 hour tasks to get stuff for him. But now that he’s disappeared the characters are just doing the actions with no chance of getting the stuff needed for him because he’s disappeared! I don’t have much time left to get him so that’s kind of frustrating! How do I get him back??

The Star Trek event was already like 2 1/2 weeks in when I started playing this game & man do I wish I had started playing sooner! Theres been a lot of complaints about this event but I think it’s been so much fun! Just wish I hd started when the event started! Oh well. Next time!

Please help! Talosian Stevie & Jean Lic Picardy have disappeared from my Replicator, even though I have yet to unlock them. I had several things for Talosian Stewie, but now he’s completely gone. Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post I just don’t know where and feel this is urgent. Thank you very much!

So speaking of character skins, I am shocked and amazed that noone has mentioned a Hikaru Sulu skin for George Takei. Here we are with a Star Trek Event and he’s just sitting there blogging, looking at cat gifs, or fencing. This would be a perfect last day replicator item. We could use all our extra yellow, green, and plasma orbs. I asked TinyCo to make this happen. Fingers crossed!

As long as you are in Quahog, you can replicate any costume… just one at a time. You just will not be able to put it on him until he is done.

I just unlocked Talosian Stewie and then the Jean-Lue Pichard costume was gone from the replicator. I can’t find him anymore, and I can’t unlock the costume.! Please help!😞😟

In just this event, I’ve spent $20 on clams (meaning an extra 3k Dilithium Crystals and 25 Dark Matter), purchased Guinan and Khan to get Scotty, got Pike Joe T. Stewie two or three days ago, played multiple times daily throughout the entire event (spare one drunken night after a friend’s 30th birthday), spent literally nothing on decorations, no duplicate buildings, even skipped the Casket Ejector, and still only have 3300 Crystals.
I can’t understand how anyone could get Kirk with these conditions. I desperately hope they either extend the time or give us some better way to pump more Crystals out really fast. Please, TinyCo?

I think you missed a trick. If you have Guinan and T stevie then you should put them on Bertram battles. If you have even 2 of the other 3 fighters you can have all the dilithium and dark matter to unlock kirk. I have kept the Bertram fight at level 5 for the last 5 days and that’s a lot of dilithium and dark matter that piles up in a few days. Ignore their questlines. They mean nothing in this event

Send Lois, Quagmire and Peter into the Borg Planet and you’ll get either 500 Dilithiums or 5 clams most of the time. You have to be consistent by sending them. Also keep fighting and defeating the cannon Borg. That’s how I got pretty much everything I needed for Kirk. I lost some sleep but it was worth it. What I did was to set the timer every time my characters went to defeat him, and that way I was ready to collect and not lose any time.

Yes, I received this response too to an inquiry about increasing the ways of collecting crystals. Interestingly they initially said they’d be announcing it yesterday. Oh and the link they provided to their Facebook page just takes me to a Chinese page, nothing to do with them lol!

Done with the event. All characters, and major buildings and decos. Lucked out on the mystery big with consuela borg skin as well. Am still fighting Bertram at the highest level and keeping it there so will have at least 2 more payouts. Is it worth buying rooms on enterprise. What will happen to the rooms post event. Not following the quests since there is no major payoff at the end. Have the 4 holodeck room slots empty

I let tinyco know of an issue that im having. Everytime i win the 5 clams from the borg cube transporter mission, i dont actually recieve any. Ive won them about ten times know and its never gone up.
Are others noticing this? Id rather it be the dark energy anyway.

Same here. About 5 or 6 times. Also wrote a couple of in game notes to them. No reply yet. I would almost bet they will find a way to credit them or just add 25 or 30 clams to everyone across the board after the event. I am also betting on some way to cash in on surplus dilithium as they have done before with event currency. We’ll see…

Got my Talosian Stewie this morning, hoping I have enough time to at least get Picard’s costume. Would love to get Kirk, but that’s not possible.
I found this event to be quite frustrating, even after purchasing Spock and Khan. Rather disappointed with the fact that their purple gems drops are based on an 18 hour task. I will only have a total of 10 by the time Thursday wrap up. I know I’ll never get to battle Cannon Bertram.
Normally I am left with an abundance of event currency, but there will be none to spare.
Next event (if I choose to engage it) I will be focusing on event currency and items required. I will only do the questlines if they are absolutely necessary. I wished I’d known sooner that they were just ‘time fillers.’

the bars on facespace dont match the game, i have been asking them to fix that every month since july. if the whole box on facespace turns yellow, then that means they are maxed out. i still have two comic con characters to go.

Hi guys! Quick question please. Do you think Tinyco will provide a way to spend remaining event currency like they have at the end of other events? So which planet is everyone having the most luck with as far as getting massive amounts of dilithium? Because the Borg Cube is not working for me at all. Three characters on a one hour mission for a return of 5 dilithium just isn’t going to cut it.

Borg send louis solo. Luck is what counts. Saddly my luck ran out on the hopes for dark matter as I need 223 to make everything and only have 93.

When I send all 3 characters to the Borg Cube, I get the 500 Dilithium every 3-4 hours pretty consistently. So you’re probably going to average around 50 Dilithium per character per hour.

Do you know why I can’t access the Borg cube? It’s still locked. It says “power up the holodeck” to access. But I have made it to the holodeck. I haven’t gotten all the stuff to unlocked Data yet, but I am at the holodeck.

I found the Borg cube best. Dropped 500 roughly every 4 visits or so .
Clams a few times to.
That was with constantly sending all 3 characters to it.
Along with the Bertram attacks I quickly won everything in the game ( except consuala skin – I’m not doing clams on a mystery box )
Now I can leave the game for a few days .

Just unlocked Data and bought Guinan. For me to get Joe I’ll have to go through all levels of Bertram.
I’m still low on Crystals to buy extra stuff like buildings and decos. I do have around 40 Transporter energy to use. I was thinking about sending everybody to the planet get 500 Crystals with it being only a 1 hour mission. If I get one every other mission that’s 10,000 Crystals by the time the event ends.

Yes! Definitely do this! Even better, they seem to come back with clams far more often than the shown odds would suggest. I haven’t kept track of how many clams I’ve gotten, but I am fairly sure it’s been at least 10 times (50 clams), and probably more.

I’m going to take a shot at getting Picard and have Joe as a secondary prize. All I need in 6,000 Crystals, 7 Green Cubes and beat Bertram at maximum, but I’m only up to Level 3 at the moment.

Yes, do the Borg Cube planet mission AMAP! It is definitely the way to go. Switch up the character if he stops dropping; give him a short break on another task, then send again. I have done Spock alone this way and have really reaped the rewards.
BTW, I read how you weren’t able to get on your game for awhile. Just wanted to say, you are doing really GREAT at catching up! 😉

I am sending all three characters to the Borg Cube every hour. After 24+ trips, I’ve only managed to get the 500 dilithium ONCE! Any suggestions of other or better ways to get the dilithium? I’m defeating Bertram nonstop, but the glitch caused me to be reset to the beginning when I only had one life bar left to be able to defeat the last Bertram.

Just continue to play. Message them about the glitch and how it impacted you and your ability to get what you need. See what happens. 😉

As far as Planet Borg Cube, I have had better luck with switching up the tasks. In other words, I don’t send the same characters non-stop to the planet. I give the character a break, send them on another short task, then send them to the planet again. I have received a LOT of crystals and clams this way.

Good Combos I’ve had:
Peter and Lois for Clams
Peter and Quagmire for clams
Lois alone for crystal
Quagmire alone for crystal
Lois and Quag for crystal
Peter alone does nothing for me
Sending all has resulted in clams once, never dilithium

How strange. Just finished up Peter alone and he dropped crystal, probably just to spite me, lol. The point is though, sending them all together doesn’t give the best results (thinking back they dropped crystals once when all together though). Lois or Quag alone has given THE BEST RESULTS. That’s in all caps just to stress that. Hope it helps.

It varies each event and we honestly do not know til closer to the end on what they decided can feasibly stay… especially with the Enterprise going… what tasks aboard there will immediately kill that questline?

Only 2 days left to go before its over. I have all the goodies but dont think theres enough time to complete the main story line. Still need to stun bertram 1 more time before i can progress. O well, guess the quest line is no biggie.
Too bad i cant donate dilithium and stuff to others who need it. Still have 30k dilithium and 100+ of all the energies.

I don’t know if you’ve done this already but if I were you I would load up on the Alien Shrubbery. I use stuff like that to use as partitions to section off areas instead of adding more roads. It’s helped me when events include having to corral things running around and eliminate them in groups. Congrats by the way, I’m still trying to get Kirk because a character is more important to me than another skin for Joe.

try to have 10 or 15k of dilithium by the end of the event. if this event is like the others, there will be a mystery box at the end in which you can blow your remaining stockpile.
on the other hand, it would be cool if, a year from now, they had a sequel star trek event that used all the stuff we have left over from this event to let long time players get a head start.

Thanks Bunny I didn’t read that post as I have become completely disenfranchised with this game. This event is a money grab plain and simple. I play daily and haven’t come close to unlocking Data, reaching Level 10. Not to mention things like Meg and Consuelas costumes. Its honestly the worst event by far.

He is a cool character, but I’ve had him busy fighting Bertram since the moment I got him! Should have enough crystals and dark matter for Joe (last prize I don’t have) by tonight, then I can send him and Picard on their quest lines!
Still not enough time to finish everything before event end if it doesn’t get extended, though. I did write to them requesting it be extended. Hopefully if enough folks so they will. Are you going to post full text quest lines? That would be nice to have if actually finishing the quests isn’t possible.

Fair enough. I know I wouldn’t be nearly done with this event, or any of them, without the help of this site, so thank you again for that. Also, it looks like they may do some sort of extension. Got this message (which seems to be standard, as I also saw it on their facebook page):
“While we don’t have any announcements yet, we’re looking into all options for how we can help players maximize the event in these last few days. This is especially true for players who got caught in the Enterprise crash bug: we want y’all to be able to finish the event as normal.
We don’t yet know what form that will take, but we expect to have an announcement before the end of the day Tuesday, April 28th.”

I really like the Talosian Stewie. I have a question about what looks to be a star trek character for Meg when I go to send some of my characters away to another planet. She is locked but I hadn’t seen anything about her in here and just wasn’t sure if I will be able to unlock her later?

Hello Addicts, I have a dilemma. I only have 8,000 dilithium crystals, and around 60 clams. I have not unlocked Talosian Stewie, Picard, or Data yet. I have all of the materials for all of them, but I have not freed Stewie from the clutches of Bob’s Funland. I was wondering, if I purchased Picard, would I have enough clams to buy the dilithium for Data and Talosian Stewie? Or should I just go the safe route and purchase Data and Talosian Stewie?

It is really up to you on that one. If it is worth it to you to get them. I would wait til last possible moment to ensure you get the cost as low as possible, then see what it would cost to buy each item individually for data and Stewie

Will I still get the clams for the set if I create the costume after the event? I haven’t unlocked stewie in the main game but I did replicate the talosian costume. It’s currently in Al’s with a lock symbol on it.

Once you complete a set… no matter when that is… you still get the payout as long as the Character set still exists.

I am working on getting Captain Kirk before the event ends.. But it says you can get the green gems from blowing up the Borg cube.. I have blown up probably 30 cubes and have yet to get a green gem. How rate is it?
