UPDATE 7/11: Morning all… so the “issue” last night was new and isolated quick. Not the same as the other two they’re still trying to track that hit around Mobsters. So most should be right back in.
For everyone else still locked out, please keep posting the answers here if you have not already. To me, the core cause seems possibly related to Android Updates (like within Lollipop and the actual 5.2 update). Will keep working with TinyCo and our readers here to track it til we find the trigger. Thanks so much for your help and answers. I really appreciate it. 🙂

- When did this begin?
- I know some have answered many times, but we see players reporting it right after Mobsters ended, along with some who have been locked out for longer. We are trying to see if this is two different issues.
- What region do they live in?
- State of the US, country if outside the US.
- We find that sometimes, rarely, this is related to a specific carrier or region.
- What carrier do they use?
- ATT, Verizon, just wifi, etc
- Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
- We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?
So let’s work together to find out just WHY this is impacting individual Android Users and get it taken care of so we can all get back to having fun!!

Hadn’t logged on since around noon EST so don’t notice it until 10:30pm EST. Live in VA and use Verizon. Samsung S5 and crashes attempting to log on. No other device to try. Thank you for being our mediator! ❤

Crashing started evening of Jul 10 just after loading patch from google play. Played this morning no problems.
Samsung note 10.1

not sure if this is relevant but after the mob event my tablet crashes shuts down and reloads by itself.

I started getting major crashes tonight, around 10 pm EST. Right on start up.
I’m in Canada with Telus. It also crashes on Wi-Fi. I haven’t been able to try it on another android device.

Same here… Texas, started today around 7. Verizon, but was using WiFi. Had just began first Magic Mike task, closed and went back in 30 minutes later and crash occurred.
Got in twice after clearing cache once, but not since.

I live in Georgia with ATT. I was able to get back to playing on android after logging onto an iOS device until now. Game crashes before even trying to load. If I force close and then try to open game, it carries me to the FAQ crash page. Just notice this crashing issue around 10:30 pm eastern time.

Started crashing at around 7:00 pm PT. I cannot load the game at all. I live in Nevada, I am a T-Mobile customer and use only one device on Wi-fi.

The game was running fine initially after the mobster event. The crashing began the moment I tried to visit my friends’ Quahog towns for the first time since the app was updated are the event. The first town to load by default is Ollie’s Quahog. While Ollie’s Quahog was finishing loading (his town was visible but darkened with loading animation in front) the game crashed. Ever since then, the game crashes soon after launching in the main loading screen. SF Bay Area, 7pm PST, Wifi.

1. Began today at 730pm, Pacific time. I would say after one time logging in after the most recent update from the play store which happened at 5pm today.
2. CA, Orange County.
3. Sprint and WiFi. Exclusively WiFi since the most recent update since I haven’t left home yet.
4. Cannot use any mentioned tricks since I only have this one device to play it on. So currently locked out until something is done about this.

Just a little more info that may or may not be of any use. Restarted my phone, and as soon as the os loads enough to be useful, I can start the game and even get to the splash screen where consuela says cannot connect. Once things have loaded enough for WiFi or mobile data to connect to tinyco, the game crashes. Can repeat 100% of the time.

– Crashing just started for me tonight around 10pm. Was in the game just collecting coins from buildings and the game stopped, now will not load at all, barely get any of the startup screen and it stops.
– I’m in the Tampa FL area.
– Using my home wifi through Comcast.
– Play on Samsung Note 8.0 tablet, game won’t load on my Galaxy S3 phone either.

New development I suppose, for me anyway. Logging on to IOS was only a temporary fix. I did it, but just now I’m locked out again. I did the trick the day I was locked out, July 8th, and now I’m out again. Let’s hope it works a second time and thanks for all you do in trying to help us Bunny and Alissa.

When did this begin: about 10 minutes ago (1015 EST in DC). Did not have any significant issues during mob event.

I was just going through clearing out checks when the app crashed. Had been in it for maybe 5 minutes without a problem. Now it crashes upon any load attempt.
