UPDATE 7/11: Morning all… so the “issue” last night was new and isolated quick. Not the same as the other two they’re still trying to track that hit around Mobsters. So most should be right back in.
For everyone else still locked out, please keep posting the answers here if you have not already. To me, the core cause seems possibly related to Android Updates (like within Lollipop and the actual 5.2 update). Will keep working with TinyCo and our readers here to track it til we find the trigger. Thanks so much for your help and answers. I really appreciate it. 🙂

- When did this begin?
- I know some have answered many times, but we see players reporting it right after Mobsters ended, along with some who have been locked out for longer. We are trying to see if this is two different issues.
- What region do they live in?
- State of the US, country if outside the US.
- We find that sometimes, rarely, this is related to a specific carrier or region.
- What carrier do they use?
- ATT, Verizon, just wifi, etc
- Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
- We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?
So let’s work together to find out just WHY this is impacting individual Android Users and get it taken care of so we can all get back to having fun!!

Locked out since Monday. The loading screen pops up, then the game closes without any error message. I have tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and clearing up some memory.
After a re-install, I can play the game until I link to my level 60 game (i.e. I can start a new game, that’s it). After I link using Facebook, it’s crash time!
Tried on a different Android device – same result.
Tried the Facebook beta, but could never log in (different error messages).
I don’t have an IOS device to try it on.
Live in central California (Fresno to be exact).
I am using a Droid 4 with Verizon – same issue occurs using WiFi or 4G.
Thank-you for all you’re doing. I hope everyone appreciates your efforts as much as I do!

4. No, I’ve tried 3 different Android devices. Two Samsung and one Google. Have no access to IOS, so have been unable to resolve the issue.

Already posted my phone info, just thought I mention if you keep on trying to login till you get the report issue page you can backpage back to the game and it will load.
Takes a bit of force stopping/loading to get to the report page tho.

1. Game was working on 7/7/15. I was on second to last obstacle, done with the dons henchmen, in 4th prize bracket, done with any premium quests i had available. woke up on 7/8/15 and couldn’t get into the game. Sometimes i would see the loading screen and the bar would get so far and stop, or an error message which i have a screen shot of, or sometimes nothing at all. However whenever I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and head to start in a new town the game worked just fine until I tried to load my original game from Facebook. I haven’t been able to get on since.

4. I did try it on my sons android tablet and got the same results i believe it is using kitkat if that matters most. Also i don’t have access to ios devices at least not that will play games (limited access work phone)

Ran into it earlier today (Friday). After seeing this post I tried the idiot case. Installed on a Verizon S6 edge that had never seen the app before. Got the intro movie for a new game, hit skip, and ran into the crash problem.

I was in fine a couple hours ago. Had just unlocked Magic Peter, got cookie girl roaming. Still have Scrotes & Tricia quests live from Mobsters. Hadn’t installed update, tried opening at 10:50pm central, instant crash over & over. Updated to latest, no change. Uninstalled/rebooted/reinstalled, finally got in. Now had cougars roaming & Jerome unlockable. All buildings ready to collect rent & character tasks done. I did have issues after 1st week of monsters, but hadn’t had issues since.
Wisconsin, US Cellular, wifi when I had the issues, Samsung Galaxy S4.

4. -Attempted to access via DuOS Android emulator installation on Windows 10 Preview (wifi), after updating to current software version. Kicked out at “TinyCo/Fox” screen.
-Attempted to access on Galaxy S4 (wifi). Old version (during Star Trek event) loaded, but prompted for update. Upon update, failed on character splash screen as with primary device (Note 4).

1.When did this begin?
I only started experiencing the crash on the Blue splash screen after the update to 1.10.0. I was able to load the game and start some of the magic mike quests (which I hope to finish…) 10/07/2015

Wifi only, I play using a Google Nexus 7 FHD

I don’t have any friends currently playing the game.
5. We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?
I have no access to an iOS device, but can attempt to download and install on my wife’s Google Nexus 5 phone later.
Some steps I have taken to see if I could fix the problem.
– Restart tablet, did not fix
– Start game in airplane mode, allowing the loading bar to get to the end before enabling wifi again and clicking retry. did not fix
– Force stop the application and relaunched, did not fix
– Cleared cache from device, did not fix
– Uninstalled and deleted all related game data (3+ GB of it), re-installed, did no fix.
I have also emailed the above information to TinyCo, along with plan to do a full debug isolation on the application tomorrow, and will send the debug into the support team.

I appear to be able to get back into the game now.
– Delete Cache, Delete Data, uninstall game (NOTE: Only do this if you have linked your game to G+ or Facebook, I take no responisbility for lost data).
– Install Game
– Enable Aeroplane Mode
– Load Game, do not click on Retry when Consuela pop’s up with the lost connection message, allow the loading bar to fully load and wait an extra minute.
– Disable Aeroplane Mode
– Click Retry for the connection once your Cell/Wifi connection has been established.
– Game loaded and went through the intro video
– Do the tutorial again… (can’t be skipped, or I was too tired to try)
– Once you can access the options, sign into your G+ or Facebook account and restore your saved game.
I have been able to load the game a few times now with no crashes, and my game data has shrunk down from 3.6GB to 750MB
I cannot guarantee these steps will work, but the seemed to work for me.

Had updated on Samsung Avant Phone using Metro PCS. Was playing Magic Mike. Noticed I couldn’t open game this evening. Changed to tablet.

The crashes for me began today 7/10/2015 after the update. I cant open the game on neither of my devices.

Mine started 2 days before mobster event ended. Point of interest. When i accidentally restarted my game from the beginning I had no crash issues. Got my original game recovered and the crash issues started again.

I am experiencing a lockout situation. I assumed it was due to needing an update, so i checked and it did say update. After I updated, still locked out, so i restarted my device but still no luck. I have a samsung galaxy note 4 and use verizon carrier, and live in NJ.
This is the first crashing/lockout that I’ve experienced, nothing during the mobster event.

It literally JUST started happening to me. I’ve been playing all day, and now it suddenly won’t load… At 11:30pm est. I saw the ending of Mobsters and started the Magic Mike XXL thing already (been clearing male strippers all day)

Crash at home screen began when I tried getting on about 1100 pm est. My phone updated software earlier in the evening, thought it might have something to do with that. Checked app for update. Saw it had one and updated. Same issue. Delete and reinstall, same issue. I have a Note 4 with Sprint service and also have Verizon wifi. Same thing on both. Also, reside in NY.

Update: baby woke up at 3am est. Fed him, got him to sleep, and hopped on fingers crossed. Lo and behold, got in. Was able to collect from everything, complete tasks, assign tasks, even purchase something from XXL box. I will say though the majority of my buildings and decos didn’t load up at first but slowly started appearing the longer I was on. Hopefully everything will be back to normal in the morning. Thanks TinyCo, keep working hard. We appreciate it!

4. Just happened when I was just surfing around my town, it kicked me out. Had no problems with new event, but when I was kicked out I can not access from either android devices. (Cell: kyocera hydro, tablet: samsung galaxy tab 4)

4) Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device? Unable to login on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. During the mobster event, I was unable to login on my Android devices, and logging in on Facebook fixed it. I am able to login via Facebook now, but it does not resolve the Android issue.
