UPDATE 7/11: Morning all… so the “issue” last night was new and isolated quick. Not the same as the other two they’re still trying to track that hit around Mobsters. So most should be right back in.
For everyone else still locked out, please keep posting the answers here if you have not already. To me, the core cause seems possibly related to Android Updates (like within Lollipop and the actual 5.2 update). Will keep working with TinyCo and our readers here to track it til we find the trigger. Thanks so much for your help and answers. I really appreciate it. 🙂

- When did this begin?
- I know some have answered many times, but we see players reporting it right after Mobsters ended, along with some who have been locked out for longer. We are trying to see if this is two different issues.
- What region do they live in?
- State of the US, country if outside the US.
- We find that sometimes, rarely, this is related to a specific carrier or region.
- What carrier do they use?
- ATT, Verizon, just wifi, etc
- Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
- We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?
So let’s work together to find out just WHY this is impacting individual Android Users and get it taken care of so we can all get back to having fun!!

I can’t load the app on my new LG G Stylo at all. It was right after the peterpalouza event. I had to download blue stacks to play it on my computer. I am level 60 and have been playing a long time. Please give me any answers. I can’t even play the 2 levels to get to the point to load my Account up. Help.

All we can offer is basic help. Beyond that, you will have to reach out to TinyCo for game support on a device that is acting non compatible.

My game still won’t let me on. It load but then it’s just a black screen. This is the case on and off WiFi.
When are they going to sort this? It a been well over a week.
I don’t want to uninstall/install as it’s annoying you have to go through 2 or so levels to log in.

I have an apple device and after mobsters ended I can collect my money from the buildings but I can’t make
My characters do anything and my wrist aren’t showing, and when I click to collect my
Money the sounds disappear and I can’t get to my inventory or nothing, or visit other towns cause none of the tools are up and available? Any help?

I was locked out by the “Attempting to load a streak request” glitch from around 2pm (BST) on Sunday July 5th. From around 8pm (BST) on Monday July 6th this smoothly moved into crashing on load, and I have not got in since.

Have been unable to load game at all since 6-8-15, when leader boards went live, still getting SAME error load message, never has changed, have tried everything but do not have access to another tablet or IOS (is this Apple?) Have been in constant contact with Tiny Co and no answers that have helped, Midwest, Wifi only on Uverse/ATT

The Facebook app in the Chrome browser didn’t initially work for me.
The reason was that the loading bar completed far too early making me think it had struck at the end rather than ⅔ in, that I’d been used to seeing with the mobile app crash.
Unlike the mobile app (which you install before you launch), the first time you run the desktop/laptop Facebook app, it has to download all the data and not just the core programme at the same time.
When the bar reached the end on mine, I could see that my computer modem was continuing to download data for a long time after. I’m guessing alot of people are giving up when they see the bar stuck at the end. Wait. Even a few minutes. Maybe even do a page refresh and try again.

My android game has been crashing for almost 2 weeks now I can log in as a guest but not get on my game I live in north eastern Pennsylvania and use Verizon please help with getting this game to work I miss it

I’m in the same boat. I open the splash screen and load about 65%, then crash with “Unfortunately, Family Guy has stopped.”
1: I’ve been lock out since the day before the last day of the Mob event. Was not able to get back in on the last day or since then.
2: Southern CA

4: I tried to open the Facebook game to no luck. Even though it’s not supported I also tried on BlueStacks to the same result as on my phone. I also tried clearing the game data on my device, opening to the tutorial, and then changing user to relink my actual game. The tutorial opened and played just fine but went back to crashing upon relinking.
I play on a Droid DNA with Android version 4.4.2.

I’ve been locked out since 2 days before mobster event ended.
I play on a Motorola RAZR MAXX HD, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4
I’ve uninstalled / reinstalled several times, no help.
Verizon wireless is my carrier, I also play on WiFi.
I live in Boston Massachusetts.

I’ve already given my details but wanted to update… I’m still having the issue, so I tried installing on my iPod touch, and after going through the tutorial, I logged into my account and now the iPod touch is crashing too… I hope they get this fixed soon… At least my Simpsons game still works!

HOWEVER, my husband is still able to play on his android device (LG). I was even able to uninstall and reinstall and then log into his game on my android and his game is working just fine, where mine is locked out. So for now, I’m playing his game on my phone while he’s at work 🙂
So being as how he has the same Android system update, I’m not sure if that is the problem or something else. It seems odd that he can play on his android device as well as on mine, but my specific account is locked out. As soon as I log my account in, my game shuts down.

Ya know, I wonder if another question they should ask is what level we are at. Or how many characters/buildings do we have. Because maybe it’s related to how many total buildings and/or characters we have or even the level of our towns? There are so many factors at play here.

1. After putting out my new items from the mystery boxes (mobster event) is close to to when i could no longer open game. Was not able to open before official end of event. Found a small upload the night before end of event

I already posted but after reading the above new content I did do an update with the new lollipop on my android samsung galaxy s5 but it was a day or two after I was already kicked out and çouldnt get back in. So far I’ve been locked out since July 9th roughly 11am
I clicked on the create button to make School girl tricia and it kicked me out. Hopefully this issue gets fixed quick bc it kinda sux now that I cant play the magic mike event and am missing out on all that new content

Hi, I have been locked out since 8.30am UK time on Saturday 4th July. I last played at around 4 to 4.30 am on the 4th. I live in the UK. I use Vodafone 3g and WiFi on Sony Xperia m2. I have tried the beta site through fb but it wouldn’t load. I have emailed tinyco with everything they have requested. I hope this helps as I still want to play.

Been unable to load the game since 3rd July played on the 3rd went away till the 5th and when tried to log in it just keeps crashing when loading both on my Galaxy tab4 10.1 running 4.4.2 and my Galaxy s5 running 5.0 have tried reinstalling and clearing the cache on both but to no avail nearly 2 weeks now sinice I last played

Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know that if you are still looking for people in the sacremento area, you may want to post a seperate post that’s something like (help for tinyco) because this particular post no longer shows up without clicking load more posts. So you may want to post something that goes to the top and everyone sees to get more hits. I see it because I still can’t log in (you might be right about the lollipop thing but I also thing it may be an HTC one M8 thing or even a 5″ inch android screen thing too) and have a special tab open for this particular post. However others not following it or maybe less tech savvy may not necessarily see it. I have been going through withdrawl and I have missed sooo much. I just want to help you guys and tinyco get this fixed. If you haven’t found anything to help, I have a pretty good laptop, I can Skype in or even send a compressed image of my phone to them if that would help (with the assurance of keeping things private).

My crashes started on the last day of the mobster event July 9th with about 18 hours to go. I live in the Netherlands and I mostly use wifi for playing the game. I haven’t tried to log on with a different Android device. My Samsung S5 is running on Android 5.0.
I removed the game, cleared the cache memory and restarted my phone. After reinstalling the game it started with the tutorial. Then I loaded my level 60 profile and it crashed in the same manner as before. So unfortunately this was no sollution.

My issue started on July 7th. I logged in the night before with no problems. The next morning g it won’t load. I’m in Kentucky using AT&T with a Galaxy S4. I can’t get the game to load on facebook or an S3 either. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it let’s me in to play from the beginning but when I try to load my saved game it crashes again.

Is there any update from TinyCo on this? There seems to be a large percentage of Android users affected by this crash error and basically “mum” from the creators. Any light at the end of the tunnel? It’s been like 100+ hours of no game access for me and I’m starting to consider just putting it down… permanently.

The issue is within Android, not their game. So they are still trying to pinpoint it. The issue is as with many OTHER issues, they need to see it happening or be able to recreate it to find that trigger point so they can create a Patch workaround to get players past the Android wall and back in their games. They are now reaching out to the public… like this very post, to get additional help. It is why I am reaching out to impacted players in Bay Area and now Sacramento Area of California. I need someone to be able to let it be seen LIVE. It will help immensely for the Engineers to get a patch.

I wish I could’ve been more helpful; I’m in Dallas, TX. I did just get back in, a couple hours ago, by trying the “iPhone” workaround and logging into my account on a friend’s iPhone. Thankfully, that worked for me and I got back in on my Android (Note 4) immediately afterward, but I still feel like I’m super behind on the Magic Mike event, now, and I know I missed getting Don Corleone because my game locked out last Thursday morning, preventing me from ensuring I would finish in the top 10k on the leaderboard. Just super disappointing to have missed out on so much. Really wish I could’ve logged in on Windows or Facebook and played that way.

I would swear that you said the “Fool’s Gold” questline (with the Golden Pool) was iOS-only, but I now have it on my Android game (after using the iOS “workaround” night before last). Is it possible that the Fool’s Gold questline is causing this issue somehow? I’m on Part 2 of it, “Place the Golden Pool,” but clicking “Go” just closes that window and does nothing else. I’m wondering if that questline is somehow trying to load on Androids, too, and the load process is failing because of that. Not sure at all, but it certainly does seem strange that an “iOS-only” questline would immediately pop-up on my Android device, right after logging into my town on an iOS device. I would’ve thought iOS-only quests would ONLY show up on iOS devices, and vice versa. Just a thought!

Nope. It triggers it as soon as you use an iOS. It is in your game now in the task menu so you will see it there on your Android, BUT… you can only unlock him on the iOS device and get his Golden items. Once he is unlocked… you CAN continue his questline and play with him on your Android. 🙂

My issue started about 3 hours before the Mobster event ended. I hit the load screen and it shuts down. I have tried on my tablet and my Galaxy phone and neither one can load. I am on Verizon and I live in Tennessee. I also tried logging in to the Facebook beta game on my desktop and my laptop and neither of those could load. I really hope this is fixed in time for me to get Magic Mike. Please TinyCo, you are my only hope.

Ive always played my fanily guy game on my Droid Mini andriod phone but every time for the past week my game has crashed on loading so I’ve missed out on so much new content. I hope tinyco gets this fixed soon its kinda depressing not playing when you played the game since almost its launch. 😦

It started right around July 1st. Game still crashes over and over. I play on a Samsung Galaxy s5 on Telus and wifi here in Niagara, Ontario Canada. Last tiny Co said it was an operating system issue. I hope it’s resolved soon as I can hardly play at all and am missing this little Magic Mike event

Logged into game using a friends ipad last night and now my android works. Strange popup of placing the “gold pool” for a mission called “fools gold” . Other than that everything is working fine now.

I have no problem with my game. But a friend of mine does.
I tried to login to her account on my device but it crashes.

5. Updated both the game and galaxy software – still cannot log in on Galaxy. I tried using my Kindle (wifi) and I was able to get into the game but not my original game (level 48 or something on Galaxy). I uninstalled and reinstalled the game on the Galaxy and I still crash before the game opens.

Reload works fine till I try to load my Facebook save and it crashes again. Received first notification since Monday to go help Peter so I got that signal,,,,still refuses to load.
