ANDROID CRASH ISSUE
First things first… the ongoing issue with Android Devices that has plagued some of the Android Players since the Mobsters Event. This one was NOT fun. Not at all. TinyCo was not able to recreate this in house at all.
So what to do? Call on the Addicts of course!!! I reached out to many of our amazing Readers here to see if I could pull a few of you personally in to show the Android Lock Out issue in person. One of you really went all out.

For those of you that have been locked out, try again now. This may not cover everyone 100%, but it should cover really close to the majority of you. (No worries those it doesn’t help, still will keep on it. Will have an alternate post coming tomorrow to renew the stats those still down after this patch.) In the meantime, write in again (yah… I know… again). Just want to make sure they catch those that it did NOT help.
LEADERBOARD PRIZES AWARDED IN GAME
Second up is the Leaderboard Prizes from the Event. They are starting to slowly trickle out to Players now. If YOU won one of the 10 Leaderboard Prizes, just keep an eye out on your game Today and the next few days.
When you go into your game, you will get a Pop Up about the Leaderboard Prize and all the details for it. Once you tap on “OK” that prize(s) will then be added to your Inventory. So if you got the top ones that include Don, Stewie, and the Griffin House Facade… make sure you look for all 3. (Stewie may hide out in Al’s too.)
UPDATE 7/16: If you are on 1.10 Version of the App it WILL show you what Prize(s) you won from the Leaderboard. Anyone NOT on 1.10 will only show a stock Leaderboard image.
If you are getting MORE than one of a Prize, please report in to TinyCo from your game messaging to avoid issues.

UPDATE: MISSING AN ITEM?
For those of you “Missing Don” or other items, try to force close and restart your device a few times. Also make sure your Family Guy Game is on 1.10 Version from your App Market. TinyCo is reporting back to me that those writing in DO have Don in there… possibly in a limbo to you… but he is there. Hiding out in the Players Inventory. So scroll REALLY slow and look carefully. Use the “ALL” tab if you have to.
For Zoot Suit Stewie, he will be in Al’s as he is a Costume and that is where Costumes appear. So run on over to Al’s to snag him.
If you still have troubles and they do not show up in a day or two… in game message TinyCo. They have record of ALL the Prizes and who won what, so they will be able to verify you got all you were qualified to receive on final counts. But again, wait and try the steps above as the item may be there already.

Family Guy Addicts 
I had recieved everything in my inventory which I was owed but when I was trying to place my leader board item (horse head on bed) it sent an error message, so I tried 3 times more but still sent error messages and reloaded my game. now a few days later while sorting my inventory out I’ve realised that the horses head he’d is nowhere to be seen. I’ve tried restarting my phone countless times and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but I still have nothing for a leader board prize.

I just received my prizes! Woohoo!
I have one bit of advice for anyone that got one of the Griffin house skins. If you have all the other skins (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day) you may need to scroll right to see them all. At first, I thought my Christmas Griffin house was lost. Then I realized that due to the new Griffin house I was awarded, the Christmas house got shifted out of view. By scrolling to the right I could see it again.

I got in my game now after work and still didn¡t receive anything (not pop up screen or anything) but the lil trophy icon next to the shoping cart one has disapeared…..is that normal? should I just be patient a bit longer or its something I should be worryed about?

Just an FYI cause I just messaged Tinyco and they so far have been great in replying, but I did not receive a message or leaderboard prize (was under 4K) and the icon/button announcing they are tallying and prizes will be awarded is gone. hard closed a few times. I will wait patiently 🙂

I’ve been waiting *patiently* for the Leaderboard prizes to be released. The Leaderboard icon in the lower right of my game is now gone but I did not get a pop up or my prize(s). At the last 10 minutes-ish of the Mobsters Event I was between 4000-4500 place. While I’m sure that, like me, everyone was waiting until the last few minutes to spend their cookies on things to increase their mob rep, I can’t imagine that I dropped from the “bronze house” group of prizes down to NOTHING. What happened? I’ve sent an message to TinyCo. Is anyone else seeing this happen?

I was in the top 60 and then was in the early 80s spot right before the event ended, and I haven’t received my 1st place prize gold house or the other prizes that come with it yet either. my button thingy is gone as well. guess all we can do is wait…:(

I didn’t place and Alissa stepped out of the Leaderboard too to focus on other things. My game play is not a “standard” Player on my main game. I use it for the site.

Hilariously Don Corleone’s Facespace updates are the same as Diabeto’s….. So that’s Marlon Brando saying “mama I eat too much. I always eat too much”. Priceless!

That’s ’cause his Facespace profile has just imprinted over Diabeto’s, so they’ve sort of merged. Probably a minor bug… which might also explain why his questline has no dialogue.

I made it in to the second group and received the silver Griffin house, The Don and Zoot Suit Stewie but wasn’t there supposed to be a “grand prize” for Completing all of the weekly event prizes as well?

Only problem i have is that i hope don and zs stewie can come in handy in a later event. Otherwise its just more useless skins/characters. I really doubt that they do since not everyone could get them and it would be “unfair” lol.
i really think jake tucker should be included in almost every event. He’s super cheap and it would help in getting people to buy him.

Well, I got the thing I wanted LEAST. Zoot Suit Stewie only. I know I won’t use his skin for… well, anything after this, so he’s useless. I would have been far happier with the Don’s Mansion (one item lower) or the Don himself (one item higher). At least that would have been seen. Oh well… hopefully TinyCo will remove leaderboard prizes in the future. Really hate the idea of having little control over what prize I get.

On a related note, I thought it was really cool that when I unlocked Kingpin Consuela, I was given Consuela for free. I had not yet purchased her, so I anticipated being given the costume for when I unlocked her, yet lo and behold, I was awarded Consuela with her house and the costume! It’s really cool to get an awesome prize like that from time to time! Also, received my Zoot Suit Stewie yesterday!

Finally got back in this morning, thankyou to all involved, before being locked out was sat around 3500 on the leader board, so am a bit annoyed I only got Zoot suit Stewie and the Don and his mansion, I should and would have got the bronze griffin house, wasn’t my fault I was shut out.

I’m a little confused as to why people think a mistake was made with the leaderboard and the payout. Let’s say you checked the leaderboard with 20 mins left to the event and you ranked 9,000. Considering the leaderboards were not updated in real time (something Bunny stated NUMEROUS times), why would someone think that after they spent all of their final cookies to get to that spot, NO ONE else would be spending all of their final cookies as well and passing them as the final leaderboards were being coordinated? Whatever anyone got was a nice bonus to the event and gives TinyCo something to work with and make better for future events should they so choose. I have always viewed this an individual game (me against the clock so to speak) and not a competition game (me against other players) so I was just going to be contented with whatever prize I got since all I could control was how I played the event not the progress of anyone else.

Hi, got my zoot suit stewie and I’m working through his quest line, well, I was, I’ve got to suited and booted part 2 and it says to make him strut but it won’t let me, it’s got the padlock like its missing something but it doesn’t say what. Before I send a ticket, Anyone else having trouble?

Still not able to gain access in the game it has been this since the last week of the mobster event …… So frustrating that I missed the magic mike event I have done everything from uninstalling the game … To try the chrome Facebook thing even trying the apple device thing….. I playing on note 3 and I keep on getting the same error message “Trying to use empty EventLevelSet while we have EventLevelProgress” I have contacted tinyco so many times and still nothing

Wow, reading this it seems like everyone got something cool, I got the horse head which has got to be the worst Item, I mean why in the middle of my city am I going to put an interior bedroom scene with a dead horse? Where would this fit? Not angry or anything but it’s very pointless and out of place.

Well, I was ranked 9,293rd in the last 10 seconds of the event (and have pics to prove it) but I was only awarded Zoot Suit Stewie.
I should have received the Don as well, but he is not in my game (updated and checked entire inventory)
The prize image only showed Stewie so looks like they planned to only give me the skin.
But, why?
Are the leader boards THAT inaccurate? Whats the point if they are?
I played based on the leaderboard, and skipped the final safehouse missions to concentrate on Fort Nox and the Boss Fight. I didn’t finish the event or unlock Mob Wife Bonnie because the leader board said I was in good position to win the Don.
If that was BS and I was really sub 10,000 then I got rooked out of both the prize and the freemium skin I gave up on.
I sent a message and the pics but all I expect is an auto-response to some other issue that has nothing to do with the problem (all I have gotten from them recently)

Instead of tearing something apart… think about what we said many times as well as the in game pop up. From day one we warned they would watch those Leaderboards for “hackers, cheaters, and inappropriate game play”. TinyCo has been focused on making sure that those not entitled to Prizes were eliminated. So… they spent the last week combing through the Leaderboard verifying accuracy. So MANY Players moved up or down depending on those results. They wanted to make sure that all that played properly got what they deserved. Not to mention MANY Players rushed their XP last minute (I saw all over Players jumping up by the thousands with last minute purchases) and (as also reported many times on our site) it took longer to update the Global Leaderboards. So even though you saw YOUR accurate count, I doubt you saw EVERYONE’S final count. Just sayin. 😉

For those with the Don issue – when you got the pop up, was it just a picture of Stewie or both? I think the leader board rankings were not correct the last day so those of us who were close were really ranked higher than we thought by a few hundred to thousand.

As the in game pop up stated… they were still verifying the positions on the Leaderboard… so many will have moved as those abusing were removed and those verified as playing appropriate given back their spots. It’s why it took them a week to look into. 😉

My pop up didn’t show anything, it had just a star burst. I waited for a while and no pictures appeared so I don’t know what prizes I should have won.

I am back in my game, thanks to all that helped. Is tiny co going to be giving any compensation due to us being locked out for so long? I like the look of the magic Mike event but have no chance of getting any of it without spending real money. I also had cookies left which I was going to use to buy mystery boxes. I contacted tiny co when I was locked out, had no response yet ( I know they have been busy).

OK sorry, I gave had the popup and I know that it ends today. I’m hoping to get the Peter Skin, mainly because I have already got almost everything I need, or should have later. I like that the freemium stripper pole allows Bonnie to so her champagne room task. I thought that I would either have to pay for it, or she would have less tasks.

Not real happy. On the leader board it appeared I was well in the running for stewie. Hundreds over what I needed to qualify. And I only got the mansion. If I thought I wouldn’t get him I would have spent more.

Same for me. Before the end of the event, I figured out if I purchased the stupid ugly golden cranes with my cookies, it would put me into the top 50,000. (I could have used all those cookies to buy lots of boxes for tons of items, but figured Stewie Suit would be better).
As the event ended (I was in the game and still in the top 50,000. And like you, only got the mansion even though I was clearly in the top 50,000 as the event ended.

About Don Corleone and his cat: I picked the first activity for him (getting his shoes shined) and was disappointed that the cat on his lap just sat there with no animation. Hey, false advertising, I thought. But at the end, the Don leveled up and kitty started coming to life, blinking a bit. The level up unlocked his pet the cat task, which brings out all the kitty ecstasy as in the animations for the mobster event! I predict The Don’s cat and Locutus’ Borg kitten will be spending a lot of time together. Or at least near each other.

P.S. Don Corleone is voiced with Brando lines from the movie. But the cat is much more important.

PPS: Don Corleone does come with a quest, Original Gangster. Pt. 1 is Get His Shoes Shined (a visual) and Have Peter Dance the Shipoopi (another visual). My Peter is busy flash dancing, so haven’t seen the rest.

Sorry, another thing, does the event end today? I have now bought the freemium decorations and two of the buildings, hoping to get most of them. I bought some mystery boxes. I got the Cookie Girl which I wanted, then the Glitter Cannon which is alright, it can go with my New Year items, I then got 90 and 30 tear-away trousers, I wouldn’t have minded but if this is the last day, I’m not going to be able to use them. I then got one more which was Stripper Bonnie, which was the main item I wanted. The rest of then items are alright, but not worth my clams so I stopped. I guess I’ll keep the rest for the next event. I think I’m going to contact them about the event as I feel that they should have paused or extended it for all of the users that got locked out.

How would I know if I got the Don? Would he be in my inventory or in my town? I’m not seeing him in either so I can only guess that I lost him. I am happy to be back in the game, and now I can get some freemium stuff with the chance of the Bonnie outfit, but I’m fairly certain that all of the money and time I out in that month have now effectively been a waste as in a matter of six days I lost my position. I think one thing that really annoys me is that I still haven’t had a reply from TinyCo and it has been almost two weeks. Is there any way to see our final position? At least that way I could tell where I was.

He would have showed up in the Pop Up you saw telling you what you won. What image did you see? Do you remember?
As far as Don… he is buried in your Inventory.
TinyCo’s been absolutely backlogged and flooded with emails since the crash so EVERYONE was delayed on technical responses. They are cleaning them up now and trying to catch back up. It helps with players now back in the game and them done verifying the Leaderboards. If you believe you are missing a prize, do email them from your game… but know… it may be a bit for a response while they still catch up.

My image didn’t show up, it came up but there was nothing in it so I couldn’t see. I never got an email response so I have contacted them in game to ask and to leave some comments about the event in general. I got pretty fast responses in game so I am hoping that it will be faster. Nothing in my inventory so I can only assume I lost out.
One thing, do you know if event buildings will go with the event if they haven’t finished? I have put down the last two for the Magic Mike event but they are due to finish after the event will have gone. I had hoped they would stay regardless as I don’t want to spend the clams, but I have a bad feeling that I have seen that they will disappear.

I got horse head on bed, it is in my inventory but I can’t put it in my town, I get error message (Problem placing item: mobster_HorseHead_sig_ in the inventory). As You wrote it should be a decoration, but I it is in a building part of inventory and has a payout (every 4 hours, 20 XP and 30$).

well tiny co i lost everything after the event when i deleted the family guy perhaps i hoped it will come back it deleted everything and now i must start over all again lost all my 80 characters after the mob event… 😦 i had mail you but no response mailed the number right below heard nothing 😦

As far as your “issue” if you deleted the game, you had to load a brand new game right? So there is no way of that new game knowing you are…well… YOU until you log in. So… take a few steps, Log in… and LOAD your saved game. 🙂

I just wanted to get Don’s Cat. Seriously! I advanced too far and ended up with just the Mansion (just under getting the Stewie when the event ended) and thought, Oh darn, will I ONLY get the mansion? I thought each prize would be awarded as you qualified, nope, no cat for me. The mansion is cool, but I so wanted the cat.

First off, thanks to everyone that worked on the android issue. I was able to log in for the first time in nearly a week. I would like to report a small problem though. I have no gauges or controls. The stuff across the upper left part of the screen, ie level, clams, coins etcetera is gone. Also, the controls along the bottom left and across the bottom are also gone. I have no quests, no inventory button, no button to add or remove roads and building, and the button to jump to another facebook friends game. Absolutely nothing. I seems like I can’t do anything. If I wanted to buy clams, I can’t. No ability to get buildings, or open mystery boxes…. So, I hope that if I post these comments here, it will get seen by Tiny Co. Thanks, Dave

That’s REALLY odd. Only Report I have seen like that. May be a rendering issue. Try to force close and restart a few times. Use the Basic Troubleshooting steps if you need to go further.

Ah, awesome. Got the Horse Head in Bed. When trying to place it, it gives an error (Problem placing item: mobster_HorseHead__sig__ in the inventory) and then restarts the game. Gotta love TinyCo QA… 😦

Don’t know if this was the case for everyone, or was something just added, but there was an icon on my leaderboard prize pop up (first thing I saw when I started up) that showed my particular prize. So anyone expecting Stewie and the Don who is only seeing Stewie in their inventory, if you only saw Stewie on the pop up, then either you dropped out of the top 10k right at the end, of you need to contact TinyCo. Or vice versa, if you were only expecting to get Stewie, but you see both him and Don Corleone in that initial pop up, then congratulations are in order. Someone ahead of you cheated and got caught.

When the pop up screen appeared on my screen, there are 2 zoot suit stewies included and the last rank that I played before the end of mobster event were around 9000.
I only have stewies skin and theres no Don Corleone to be found including my inventory.
I did messaged TinyCo. I think they should released the final leaderboard to confirm the last position of the players.
