TinyCo has re-released even MORE items into our games, this time COMIC CON!!! WOOHOO!! Now what YOU will see in your game in the Mystery Boxes as well as the amount of Mystery Boxes will all depend on what you already have in your game.

So TinyCo is keeping with the theme of bringing us back a bunch of “favorites” from the past. Comic Con is the theme this time. My only disappointment… I WANT DOC MANHATTAN RUPERT SKIN!!! That is all. 😉
Now for the details. Now with me owning pretty much most of these items, I will fill in the blanks all I can. Feel free to share what else you see in the Mystery Boxes or elsewhere in the game. 🙂

I don’t like this. I paid full price for all these characters and now, instead of new content, they’re having a sale on all the items they explicitly said were permanently gone once the event was over. I feel taken advantage of.

This is not the first time (Best of 2014) nor do I think it will be the last and this is common in ANY game to return Characters if Player demands are high for them. Don’t forget that at the same time those that were FREE or earnable now cost newer Players Clams.

Great! Paid 125 and got Brian Cranston, that completed my collection and got 100 clams, so, given we got 30 clams free, I got Brian for free and 5 clams to boot!

Finally got Bryan Cranston! It was basically free. I received back 100 clams for completing the Comic Con Celebs Too and used part of the 30 clams from TinyCo.

Me too, 100%. Already had bought Nathan Fillion since he’s my man-crush. And with 30 free clams yesterday, this was a no brainer. So now I’m going through his questline, and I was wondering: is Brian Cranston doing the robot a reference to something, or just funny for its own sake? I never got into breaking bad, pardon my ignorance.

I am tempted but I was not playing last year around this time so i have to decide if want to get one of the clam boxes. I would love to get them all but that is way more money than I have.

Got Nathon Filon and Bryan Cranston for 150 clams total counting the 100 rebate for having them and George Takei! Very worth it if those are the only 2 you don’t have. And if you only don’t have one it’s really just 25 clams!

Strange, opened Dr. Rupert Mystery Box twice and got Iron Baby outfit and Bryan Cranston. After that the box disappeared even though at first it also showed me Mutant Stewie and Roller Cop (which I don’t have). I don’t really care that much as all I really wanted was Bryan Cranston, still odd.

When they released Cranston during comic con last year I laughed..450 clams was not worth it and actually a bit insulting..so I waited. Half a year later they released him again…for 450 and I laughed again…Tinyco quit trying to make Fetch happen! ! Last night for 125 clams I could get Cranston (the only character in this box for me) and I paid it…and then got 100 clams back for my collection. So basically 25 clams total. Now Im only missing 2 costumes (peepants peter and the bonnie one the crash kept me from)

Excellent! I was only missing Bryan & Nathan because they were so
ridiculously expensive the first time round. The 100 clam bonus for completing the set plus the free 30 clams from yesterday made spending just 120 clams for two new characters an easy decision.

Most of the stuff I already had… all that’s left is the nerd box and there’s really not much I’d want since my quahog has no space to put anything! Also none of that stuff is that appealing to pay clams for that is.
On the bright side I actually used my coins for once… I got over a million coins and aint got anything to use them on since I’m waiting for this new district =_= I mean it’s been over a year since I’ve been waiting to unlock death already his dog is missing his owner!

Already got all the characters and skins during the event except Cranston, so for 25 clams (after set completion bonus) this was a no brainer. Awesome!
If only I could get Barney in the other game for similar savings.

Yeaaaah Bryan Cranston to complete the set. With payback only 25 clams. Totally worth it. I think in best of 2014 he was like 450 clams and during comicon also like 250. So that’s a really good deal! So happy right now!
And if we get a chance to earn more old characters, I request Tricia and mob wife Lois. I’m still upset that I didn’t get them. It was impossible without clams.

In the 125 clam box I had robo cop skin and Bryan mouses which one I got 😦 I figured it was worth a 50% chance now I need 30 clams for another go. What do u think r the chances of 30 more clams dropping from the sky? Lol it’s a shame this likely isn’t for long if it was up till Thursday I could probably get the clams through adds.

The playground does not appear to be in the coins box, I got everything and there was no playground. Quite happy with those, the only item I had before was a flailing tube man. I bought the character/skin box, Captain Hammered. Quite disappointed, he has 5 tasks, 2 of which are visual. Sent him on his flying task but I expected it to be funnier. I have so many costumes for Peter that I don’t use, I wanted to get a character really, but if it was going to be a skin, I wanted it to be Red Hot Lois or Mutant Stewie as they are my favourites. I wasn’t playing during this event but it looked good and I liked a lot of the content so I was quite disappointed to open the box and get that. I have been quite lucky in the past with the boxes though.

I’m hoping word is they release the Rock-It Playground as it’s one of the main items listed I’ve been wanting in my town. If they want they can have the Cat & Mouses Cafe back if they give me the Playground lol.

I want to try the character boxes, I can get one. I’ll see, I might get one, I like a lot of the skins but I would prefer a new character. I’ll do the coin one as I have a lot of counts with nothingntomdo. Annoyed that Sir Lanceawart’s is in there, I paid clams for it in the American Dad event. Also, I have most of the items in the 75 clam box which I got with coins when they were brought back when they let people try to get three characters they may have missed. I will probably just get a character box, I don’t have the clams to afford anything with a new event and I won’t be adding them and I would be interested in these.

Gotta say, this has been the best bring back yet. Thank you tinyco! Since I had all the free characters from last year’s comic con event, all I had in the mystery box was Nathan Fillon and Bryan Cranston. I knew that even if I’d end up getting both of them, I’d still get the 100 clams bonus, so of course I went with it. It’s Bryan Cranston for ***** sake! I ended up getting both of them for 250 clams, got a 100 back, so overally, I payed 75 clams for Bryan Cranston, which is the best buy I’ve made in the entire game. Keep up the good work Tinyco!

Reasonably happy, but not spending any more in pursuit of Nathan.
Too many skins in there and I want money earning characters.
Great chance for people to catch up on, on top of the free thirty clams last night!
Purchased all items in the $1,000 mystery box. Couple of earning buildings and cool decision in there. Thirteen in all, I think.

I didn’t have anything from before Star Trek, and my coins box gave me four earning buildings: Sir Lanceawarts, Fab 4 Headquarters, Cat and Mouses Café, and the Outhouse of Loneliness. I had thought the outhouse was a deco, but was surprised to discover that it actually earns. The door opens and something probably obnoxious puffs out when you tap it. Well, my town could always use a port-a-potty…

In the superhero rupert mystery box it says that it has the rock it playground but I opened it until their was nothing left and their was no rock it playground. It’s not because I already have it because I wasn’t playing the game when the Comic Con event was happening. Should I contact TinyCo?

All I wanted was the two stewie outfits, so I risked it and bought clams. First attempt I got iron baby stewie, and on the second I got mutant stewie so yay!! 😀 I didn’t waste a single clan and I’m sooooo happy! As for the coin boxes, I have over a mil in coins that I have nothing to spend it on so I bought as many of those as I could lol. Got some cool stuff 🙂

Where do I have to go for them to do Sexy Stewie, Bitch Stewie and Brian, the 4 Ghostbusters Costumes, and the 4 Scary Guys? He asks tongue in cheek. I REALLY want the Scary Guys. I’d go 300 a pop on them and be elated to do so. They put those out… even for Halloween in 3 months, I will consider myself fulfilled. 🙂
Until then, got all the items I didn’t already have. Guess it doesn’t repeat stuff if you already own it. I would have paid a goodly chunk of clams for another lonely ice outhouse building. 😛 So happy for the Fab 4 Building(s)! 😀
I didn’t even get a peak at the Blue Rupert since I had all those already. Good Clam savings for me as a semi-veteran premium player. 🙂

Odd. There was an image of the rock-it-playground in the pop-up for the coin mystery box, but it wasn’t on the actual menu in either of my games, and I emptied the box w/ no playground appearing. Definitely didn’t already have it either. Oh well – it looked really cool. But plenty of other cool stuff. I might have to pony up some clams for these boxes!

Got Cranston on the cheap too. Also he completed my collection so he only cost me a total of 25 clams. Got everything in the coin box. Not sure about the other box. I’m not a big fan of decorations.
Now i just need bitch brian and stewie. Ghostbusters, Halloween bad guys and American dad characters and i will be almost all caught up.

The Dr. Rupert was an easy pick, he only had Bryan Cranston left. As it was 125 clams, and you get the 100 clams for completing his Comic-Con, he only cost 25 in total. Total win. 🙂

Whoohoo! Since there was only one prize left (Bryan Cranston) in the Dr. Rupert Mystery box, I decided to spend 125 clams. Got him which completed the Comic-Con set. Got back 100 clams. A 500 clam character for 25 clams.

This was a real treat! I got the Dr. Cupertino cause it contained Bryan Cranston who was the only character I didn’t get from last year’s Comic-Con event. Since I got the 100 clam bonus from completing the collection, plus the free 30 clams from today, I actually earned 5 clams as a profit for getting him! 😊

I already have all the characters in the 125 clam box so I don’t have this one in my game. But wow! Bryan Cranston was originally 500 clams so now you could get all four for his original cost.
The only thing in my coin box is that dang Wavey Guy and I think I already have a few dozen so I will,pass on this one.
The 75 clam box has some repeats. I already have The Clamterprise and it is showing up in my box. Is this the same? I’d hate to take my chance on this and win another. The first one cost me quite a few tries in the original mystery box.

OMG! All of these are in this box? Wow, what a great chance to pick up some cool characters if not collected previously. But this is a whole lot more expensive than the 4 characters in the original early post. Any who missed out last year with Nathan and Felicia are gonna go for this. They are two of my favorite characters in the game. Thankfully I have all these characters or with my general lousy luck with this boxes I would end up having to buy all 13 to get these two.
