Just got back home, so running a lil behind… but will have details up shortly.
TinyCo has re-released even MORE items into our games, this time COMIC CON!!! WOOHOO!! Now what YOU will see in your game in the Mystery Boxes as well as the amount of Mystery Boxes will all depend on what you already have in your game.

So TinyCo is keeping with the theme of bringing us back a bunch of “favorites” from the past. Comic Con is the theme this time. My only disappointment… I WANT DOC MANHATTAN RUPERT SKIN!!! That is all. 😉
Now for the details. Now with me owning pretty much most of these items, I will fill in the blanks all I can. Feel free to share what else you see in the Mystery Boxes or elsewhere in the game. 🙂

in the 125 clams box, i was left with 2 skins and 2 characters, try it 2 times hope to get Cranston and Nathan , but but the 2 skins for Stewie and Joe .. kinda sad

Is the Clampterprise now a building in the mystery box? It used to be a deco. It still shows up in the mystery box on my game even though I already have it, and when you hit the info button it shows a coin and XP payout.

It depends on when you got it. There is a Clamterprise Building and a Clamterprise Decoration. One from Comic Con was a Decoration. One released during Best of 2014 was a Building.

I only needed Bryan and Nathan, so this was an amazing deal for me. I was able to get both for 250 plus got 100 back for completing the collection! These were two that I wanted but just couldn’t justify paying that many clams for them. So happy right now! Thanks Tinyco 😀

As we already have them all, I can’t see which ones re-trigger tasks. I would assume it depends on if you have the buildings needed for other tasks.

The Dr. Rupert Mystery Box does not appear in my game and I need Mutant Stewie from it. Anyone else having issues like this? I can message Tiny Co, but want to make sure this is a confirmed deco before I do.

If you are looking for the Deco…wrong item. It is the actual Minion Mutant Stewie… as in Costume. Not the Giant Deco one for town.

Ive used this box 4 times trying to get the characters as missing them all but all i get is costumes which is really frustrating, im tempted to try one more time as only 1 more costume in box but guarenteed i get the last costume and not any new people. Seems everyone is getting the decent stuff apart from me lol

The Rock-It Playground and the Space Shuttle were missing from my coins Mystery Box. Everything else listed was there, though. Maybe they put them on the list but not in the box? I can’t check because it’s no longer in my store (I bought everything from it). Or did they give different people different boxes?

Omg omg omg I am so lucky!
I started playing with three days left to the comic con event and therefor didn’t get enough stuff to get Patrick Stewart but have wanted him ever since. When they released him again in a mystery box last time I didn’t even try because of all the costumes that I didn’t have and didn’t want for the amount of clams the box costed. This time I have a 1 in 13 chance of getting Patrick Stewart from the box with 7 of those prizes being costumes. I had 139 clams thanks to the freebie they just gave us and decided to give it a shot and I GOT HIM!!!!! I ACTUALLY GOT HIM!!! I can’t even believe it, I am so super happy!!!!!!

Does anyone know if you get quest lines with the characters?. What about the skins? I know with characters/skins from an event their quests might need event buildings which are NLA so…? Thanks!

Trying to decide if I want to get Bryan and Nathan. It is a decent deal for the 2 of.them, but I am not rrally a fan of either.

The Mistery Box gives me 3 alternatives: Brian Cranston, Nathan and Rollocop Joe.
I don’t want Rollocop Joe for 125 clams. I was luck and got Nathan and Brian in sequence. I got 100 clams black, so it was 150 clams in total for 2 chars.

Lucky i’m super disappointed because I risked it and got rollo cop especially as I just bought proper robo cop during the last event. I had a message pop up in my game that made it sound as though the boxes are just for this weekend which makes it doubly disappointing as by Tuesday I should have enough clams to bryan as he’s all thats in my box.

FWIW. Bryan Cranston from the box comes with his chair and a mini quest line. Some of the box characters at Christmas did not have their “home” objects or quests.

This is EXCITING! That’s a total of 17 Characters/Costumes that have been re-released! And COMIC CON?!?! 😱 I have been waiting for this day! As I only began playing in April of this year, during the Star Trek event, I have missed all these amazing opportunities to obtain awesome characters, and now Tiny.Co have given me an amazing opportunity! I could not pass up Stripper Bonnie and Steroid Stewie, and I could not pass up the opportunity to get as many characters from the Dr. Rupert Mystery Box as possible. So I went out and purchased some clams and spent 500 clams on 4 chances in the Dr Rupert Mystery Box!!! I was please with my results:
• Captain Hammered (YAY!)
• Patrick Stewart (?!?!?! 😱😬😃)
• Iron Baby (Yay! A Stewie Costume)
• The Multiplier (XXX 😉)
The only character I regret not obtaining is Mutant Stewie, but I am happy with my outcome. I hope everyone had as much luck as I did!!! Here’s to more re – releases into our little games!! … Perhaps an American Dad Mystery Box in the future? *wink* wink* *hint* *hint* Tiny.Co 😉😜👍🏻👌🏻

Not really… no. Those Characters we bought were a HUGE asset and help during the Event to help us get the other Characters, Buildings, and Decorations during the Event. Now, those we got for Free or earned others have to pay for. So in the long run… same overall cost. 😉

I see your point I just think the price difference between the 500 I paid and the 125 people can now get him for is too big to reflect how much use he was. Like during the best of event I think he was offered for 450, just a 50 clam discount, which I thought to be fair. Also doing things like giving away mystery box decorations or challenge decorations for 1000 coins, which is basically nothing, really bugs me as well. Personally I don’t even buy the characters for the “help” they give as it is usually minuscule.

Bryan Cranston is all I am missing. He is a steal right now, at least compared to when he first came out. Wouldn’t spend that much then even though I loved Breaking Bad! AND gotta have a few extra clams for play money. 🙂 Love these types of Mystery boxes when you know what you will spend tops for what you want. Thanks for listening TinyCo! 😉

Ok I’m confused and I wanna see if this happened to others too… when the 125clam box popped up yesterday, I saw 13 characters total – the comic con guys like nate fillion and a few costumes. I had enough clams to open 2 boxes, and i got Felicia Day and the fire girl skin for lois. Now today I loaded up 600 more clams and bought 5 more chars – Nate Fillion, Bryan Cranston, Patrick Stewart, Stan Lee and Ron Perlman. And now suddenly the box is gone – no more skins, no more characters. But I know a 100% there were 6 more shown yesterday.

Depends on Player Demand for them. Any game house out there usually only does a re-release if they feel it is something that Player response will be high.

I was psyched to see Brian Cranston sitting there all by himself, as he was the only character I hadn’t collected since the start of this game. I remember they were asking a ridiculous number of clams for him and I refused to pay. So now my Family Guy cast is complete and it only cost me 25 clams after collecting the 100 clam bonus.

I had to spend clams to get what I needed but it was so easy. I got everything I wanted and in the order I wanted, leaving only the things I didn’t really care about left in the box. How often does it go that smoothly?
Really wanted the buildings (Kitternet cafe, Fabulous Four HQ, Terrarium, Sir LanceWarts) and was happy to see getting Sir Lanceawarts also got me an extra task for Steve Smith (hope they do the mystery box stuff with American Dad cuz there are a few things I still want from that). Also got all the Fabulous Four skins, Ron, Patrick, Bryan, Nathan, mutant Stewie, and Robo Joe.
