Family Guy Addicts 
Second week of Peterpalooza is starting to wear on me. Extra rare drops for Joe Lion are almost as rare as those eyeballs for anime Peter, yet the beer taps for the brewery that were extra rare came like water (after buying all the items I needed, I had over 100 of em left, just from sending out tasks while trying to earn coins/materials for the rest), I was a few hours away from being able to do a second Avril encore which would’ve gotten me more picks for makeover Meg when the new week update dropped (which now that I’ve bought, I can’t even afford the picks for anything but the blue donkey)… they REALLY need to add a timer counting down to updates in the last 2-3 hours to avoid frustrated users. I’ve seen it playing the game Runescape in years past (a Java-based MMO), so it ain’t tech limitations keeping them back from this.
And there are 3 more pick-costing items to get before doing another concert, which is the MAIN source of picks besides 2 per bee swarm (per 45 mins), and 5 per toad user (per 3 hours)… which are no longer populating my Quahog. In order to get the 85 picks I need to start the next concert, that’ll take about 7 hours: 13 max per 3 hours is a long wait, even more if those toad users have a longer respawn than 3 hours.
The first week had easier to obtain goals for materials; now we have two characters to earn that have more required materials, and they’re rarer to obtain (one being that much harder since one of the sources is a premium character). TinyCo loves to do that, which on one end I can’t fault too much since they need to make money to keep the game going, but it just seems like there’s more of it than necessary, especially with game crashes and tight scheduling of questline tasks during events. Unless I’m getting less than 8 hours of sleep a day and checking the game a few times every day at work, there’s no conceivable way I’d ever finish all the tasks each event (if I even do).

You want extra picks, just drag Avril to the stage and select the 24 hour task that appears. Concentrate on the main questions to remove Avril from required tasks to progress and then she’s all yours.

WTD! I was all set up for a 2nd Hardcore encore concert to end PeterPalooza questline si I could get some extra rings/picks, but the game credited me for the previous encore and progressed directly to the next level without allowing me to perform the concert! Could have used the items for Rapper Brian. Argh!!!

I had bought clams for the mobster event(as I had with most events), and then was locked out for 8 days, making the premium items completely useless in the end. So once I could get back in, I nicely asked if I could get a refund on that purchase. Today, I finally got the one word response of “no” followed by ‘this conversation has been closed’. ….That’s some amazingly bad costumer service! I’ve been playing since day one, but decided to go ahead and delete the app. *shrug*
Thanks for the site though, Bunny! Always very helpful, so many things would have been impossible(or expensive) without it. A shame I could not gift my remaining clam balance.

Looks like Cupid is finally starting to level up again. I looked like his bar was frozen for a week or two. At this point, I think Kirk is going to beat him which is weird since Kirk came (way) after Cupid. Even my S&M cow is really close to level 15.
Also, when the task list contains 5 items, the bottom one doesn’t come all the way up. It’s practically hidden behind the task list icon. Hopefully they’ll fix in the next update.

Ok, I can’t wait for the next WTD so I’m coming here to prevent myself grumbling in other pages… What the freakin’ deuce with TinyCo claiming repeatedly that they absolutely count NOT extend the Mob event despite so many problems and users unable to play for days or longer. Their excuse was they “had too much planned” to follow that event, but here we are weeks later and they’ve only released some minor crappy stuff (in my opinion) and nothing at all that would have reeeeally interfered/prevented them extending the Mafia thing for a week. With today’s mini-trucking out the Halloween leftovers release, I’m guessing we won’t get PeterPalooza until next Friday at the soonest. So… I know it’s just a game, etc. (really, I do know that…I’m not an Addict…oh, wait) but it’s a game I have put real money into so I am invested in wanting to continue playing it. I did intend to stop playing after the Mob debacle, or at least to not purchase any more clams, but I admittedly got sucked into a few things. But I won’t keep coming back after similar incidents forever – eventually my resentment will outweigh any enjoyment (or feeling tied to the money already spent).

I know that I’m not on a time limit for district 11 but I just want to ask if anyone has had blue earrings drop. I just want to know it’s possible because I resurrected her just before evil week started and haven’t seen one yet.

I understand that District 11 is a permanent district BUT the rare drop for flutes for New Brian is more like an epic drop because I have been trying to get 5 of those flutes over the last week and only needed 2 more and finally had one drop this morning and still need one more and 12 hours for a rare drop? For that length of time it should always drop.

WTD!the action takes longer than the time said. Sent a character for a 12 hour task and after that(controlled) another 30 minutes to wait.
WTD! The game doesn’t always save the actions of a character. you send him/her to do a task, wait that he/she enters the buiding, close the game and after 2 hours reopen it, to find that he/she is doing nothing on the streets.
WTD!The rare drops are extra rare and the contrary. It’s quite simple to solve it tiny, change the name of rare to extra rare and it will be enough for me.

Secondly, I have been on trying to unlock tim tucker for about 2 weeks now, when I’m sending people to do task I’m just not getting any materials which is starting to get ridiculous. Ive also just gotten mayor wests house and am trying to unlock him as well and ive had him for about a week and not even made a dent in getting the things he needs. Is anyone else having these problems? I feel like it will be months until i unlock the next district.

I have a few complaints about getting items. First off I agree with the previous comments about the anti coins. It has been a few days and i still dont have enough to finish getting evil stewie let alone the building, and since the event ends in 4 days i doubt i will be able to get them!

I got screwed out of getting a helmet for Paddy too. I’ve had 2/6 for a while now and got one on Friday and when I went to check if it registered I still had 2/6! WTD??? It’s hard enough getting them to begin with and it seems like I’m not the only one having this problem! I wrote Tiny Co twice and no reply!

I’m doing a double WTD post this week. Need three anti-coins to get Evil Stewie. Was excited this morning at 8am to click my buildings. Not. One. Coin. OK, OK, I tell myself. At 8pm, I’ll get them. 8am gets here, and here we go. Not. One. Freaking. Coin!! It’s taking two days, four tries, to get one coin from four buildings. That’s ridiculous. At first, I was thinking I could get Evil Stewie, but the other buildings would be a stretch. Now, I’m doubting being able to get Evil Stewie!! It feels a bit intentional. There. Out of my system. For now. If the same thing happens at 8am in the morning, I’ll be back.

I hear ya. I do have Evil Stewie and I’m trying for Church of Satan and the nunnery. I have 4 coins which means I’d need 16 more by Thursday. I went 0 for 4 this morning so I’m screwed as well due to the other 1 or 2 for 4 chances I’ve had. Thanks Tinyco for nothing. Except for once again trying to force us to buy clams.

This is happening to me as well cant get any anti coins, been waiting days and i dont even have enough to unlock evil stewie let alone buy buildings with the anit coins so frustrating.

WTD??? Why is it 16 hours to maybe get a pair of plaid pants from Connie and only 4 hours for Lois to try for those same plaid pants? No matter who’s doing the task the time it takes to complete the task should be the same when you’re going for the same reward.

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems getting the Meg love letters. I have been putting Joe and Quagmire on constant mission s but I haven’t gotten a single lettet. Just curious to see if anyone else is having that problem.

It would be a great help if the flippin’ game wouldn’t crash so much!! I’m gettin sick n tired of having to do the same character tasks over n over, not once, not twice, but sometimes 3x when the game crashes!!

I can’t spend longer than a few minutes in the game or the crashing starts. That’s one of the big reasons there’s not a lot more land, it’d stop many people from being able to play.
The only real advice is put away everything you don’t need and try to limit things like the amount of outdoor animations running at the same time. The less going on in your town the better it is. Also try a restart of your device if you’re crashing it can help the game last a bit longer before crashing.

Very much enjoying the current chilled pace of life. The mobster madness was too demanding.
Despite the tiny spec of land with district 11 space is still very limited.

Make sure you don’t have a skin acrive on the Drunken Clam. Only the default skin gives Shirley Temple. I just realised I had a skin on and Shirley Temple didn’t show up as a drop until I removed it. The game didn’t tell me I was wasting time and hope.

I’m also going to complain about trying to unlock Stewie. I have been trying for weeks and still need a ridiculous amount of stuff. And never no d the plutonium or blueprints because I’ve been trying even longer to unlock Falconer Peter and still need 4 gloves and 5 satchels. I don’t mind a challenge but come on! And yes I’ve done the whole send people on a different task and then come back and try again thing. I’m just venting.
And I guess while I’m venting I’m still pissed off about them ending the Fat quest early and making me miss out on Fat Lois. I had it timed out to get the last 2 hams I needed 10 minutes before it was supposed to end. Imagine my surprise when I got coins. I contacted Tinyco and they sent me back the reply about the mistake and how they extended 10 minutes. I replied saying that did me no good as there was no time to redo the 2 tasks and of course I never heard from them again.

I have been remembering to check Ollieland for my daily clam but 5 days running now I can’t find it. As where it changes from time to time is there any way to know where it’ll be without guessing? I thought it was supposed to be a guaranteed clam a day.

I’m sure it’s supposed to be 5 a week but I just had 3 days in a row where I got nothing so maybe they’ve changed it.

I don’t think so. Some days I get either 30 coins or 20 coins and a clam. Seems totally random as to what payout you get.

WTD: Is anyone else having trouble earning any ghosts ? I am working on Loretta and having a tough time. I may have Retep and Evil Stewie, before I get her. It’ll be a miracle if I complete her and get any other ghosts before time runs out.

Time runs out? Loretta and the Lazarus Portal are all part of Graveyard District 11. There is NO time limit on that. It is a District are here to stay. Do not worry about rushing anything for her or the other two from the Portal. Only focus on the items for the Evil Week Event. THAT is timed. 😉

Keep in mind, it is a District. I will not be quick and is meant to last as it is here to stay the life of the game. There is no time limits to collect on Districts. 😉

getting annoyed with the watch the free ad and get a clam, ive watched about 10 free ads over the past week, and each time i finish the ad it acts like its loading and doesnt give me the free clam! i then have to quit out of my game and reopen in order to continue playing. I just want my free clams.

My one complain and dislike is how ollieland doesn’t notify you anymore when u can collect from their town to get a chance at a daily clam… I keep forgetting to check daily and have missed many clam opportunities 👿👿

It does notify you… With a day’s worth delay or so… It’s annoying, but if you remember to check at the same time of the day all the time you can work around that. The friends are on a 20 hour refresh cycle, so if you check every 24 hours you’re OK.

I need 1 more tank helmet for paddy and it dropped last night but it didn’t register. Then again just now and still nothing. I’ve contacted tinyco last night but no response yet. Anyone else had this problem? WTD?!?!?

I almost have Retep. I need 1 MORE Love Note To Meg. So, I have Quagmire, Joe, and that building that all have a chance at dropping it. When I click on them however, they never drop it! I’ve needed this Love Note for 3 DAYS. Nothing is dropping it. So angry. 😉

y’know what really grinds my gears? The way that a freeium game that actually wants you to spend real world money on the **** thing as a clam shack that will refuse to connect so you can’t buy any clams.

The contact lenses seem to be a NEVER drop. I’ve collected all the other stuff required this week yet not a single one of these yet. Since it takes 24 hours for just 2 chances, this isn’t looking good.

For the last month I have had a problem with my game saving on Android. I check it every few hours to start new tasks and sometimes I come back and it’s like I was never there before. Arrrgh!

Android here. I always switch to Olliland before I close the game. This forces the game to sync. I’ve never had the problem since doing it that way.

Shouldn’t event characters performing event tasks/quest line drop event currency?
My hybrid babies were still running around after that event ended. Now they’re gone. What a tease, TinyCo!

Seconding both of these! I splurged for Satan and neither he nor his Hellmouth drop the anti-coins. And I must have that cool-looking Dark Lord Church!
I enjoyed my hybrids running around with my zombies and was also hoping they’d hang around. They’re so cute! (Also, Chip and Finn are dang adorable!!)

I finally get a response from TinyCo about the balloon drop rates…and it’s a canned response the day after the event ended! WTD?! And also, WTD is with the constant crashing? It’s gotten really bad lately. None of my other games crash this much. Let me rephrase that: none of my other games crash. Period.

WTD? TinyCo took away the little red exclamation mark that used to appear to remind you to collect your daily clam from Ollieland. Seems like a mean way to reduce the number of clams in circulation.

They may not be able to please them all, but they could make it an option in the settings as to whether you want it to notify you or not. Seems like Tiny Co. could do a lot with options like that, but they don’t.

I thought I would chime about the exclamation point reminder to visit neighbors. It was never going away for many of us who have friends that downloaded the game and then quit updating, making it impossible to visit them and clear the exclamation point. Therefore, it was not functioning properly as a reminder and was just an annoyance for us.

I have a heart fluttery wtd this week. I’m trying to propose to my boyfriend after taking him to see his favourite band but I’m not sure where to start!
Also, game related. I’m glad we got Consuela’s vacuum but now we need Consuela’s cancel task button 😉

Have you tried getting a hold of the Company/ Radio Station/ Etc promoting the Bands Appearance to see if they would let you do it on stage? Or try the Bands personal Twitter/Facebook page and send them a personal message if possible (so the BF can’t see it)? Do you have friends going with you that could hold up signs? Or have something written on their T-shirts?

I’ve asked for the cancel task option several times. I even offered that if you cancel a task, you lose the experience and coins you would have gotten. Too many times have I sent someone on a task and then finished a quest a minute later and had to wait 12 hours to continue.
My WTD is this: we have so many characters that we buy or earn and they are useless for the rest of the game. at least during the long events, Every character in the game should help out. I have a stack of characters that are at their max level and are sitting in inventory. Why have them running around? I have no use for coins or experience. I would rather send those characters on a 24 hour task and be useful than sit in inventory.

There’s no 24 hour task for a Rare for the Evil Event. Its Uncommon. You must be confusing it with District 11 where New Brian needs an Item that’s 24 hours, but Always.
I don’t have a WTD, but a YYY! I just unlocked both Retep and Evil Stewie tonight. This must be the fastest I’ve ever finished getting all the characters for a week event. YAY! 🙂

Here’s a good kind of WTD. I was working to unlock ghost Loretta and I realized one of the buildings for one of the item drops (the quahog performing arts building) was still available in the store to buy. So I buy it thinking a build with a guaranteed drop would be better than the uncommon rate. Ends up that the building was an instant build for whatever reason so I just built ten at once and got all ten items needed in that category instantly. Nice little trick

And also is it just me or are those anti-coins like never drop?! The first few i got so quickly and now I’m getting none. I don’t want to use clams to get the evil bank because i had to use clams to get my fourth worker cause i did a booboo and started building regular buildings when the evil characters became available so needed the extra guy to save the day.

Tasks for a one week event should never be more than 6-8hrs long. 1day tasks for this event pretty much is another way of Tinyco telling us to play premium.

They Gone… By The By, Why Don’t They Bring Back In Mini Events Some Of The Older Big Ones? I Came In After The First Year, And I Would Have Loved To Play The American Dad, Or The Comics Con Events…

WTD: My Evil Quahog district is turning into an other-side-of-the-tracks bad side for the town. I need another of the chalk outlines from the mobster event to complete the picture. I have one in my park of man eating trees from Star Trek but don’t want to move it. I would pay clams to duplicate items from old events.

WTD?? A one week timed event to get Evil Stewie and some of the tasks run 24 hours to get an item???? Seriously??? And why is Stewie not being used in any of these events to help with tasks? I know some folks may not have him in their game yet but he is such a big part of Family Guy….he IS Family Guy. Seems sad to not be able to use him if you do have him. Just sayin’……..

As far as I remember (correct me if I’m wrong), we don’t have characters doing tasks for their own different outfits. It’s always a task to get something for another character’s unlocking/costume/what have you

What the Duece! Why the 24 hour tasks for rare items on a short event? Why not a 12 hour or better yet a 4 hour task?
… And why can’t I have a possum baby as a pet? Why do they need to be so scared?

Is there some reason Chip Griffin needs to be 400,000 decibels louder than everything else? It’s physically dangerous to players’ hearing. I’ve never been more convinced that nobody at TinyCo checks their work, or plays the game, or cares.
