Bouncing by with some help and updates on the latest information I have got back from concerns and questions I addressed to TinyCo. Take a look below and see if this helps you with some things you have been running into.

WHAT DO I DO FIRST?
I see Players trying to figure out what is best to focus on. My opinion, the Dragons. Wait to attack one until you have a good amount of Potions saved up. This way you can hit the higher Levels of the Dragons and get more payouts. This will help unlock the Characters you need to help you out. With more Characters other areas, like Wrestling, will be easier as you will have more than one option to use. Also the New Characters will in turn help get MORE Potions to take out MORE Dragons. If you have a Dragon with HIGH requirements (like the Bright Blue or “Black Dragon”) it may be best to only attack it once or wait til the next one and continue working on other Materials instead.

DRAGONS NOT DROPPING BOOGERS
Sounds delicious huh? Lol. But seriously, for some odd reason some Dragons still won’t drop them. They are still trying to track down why a random White Dragon is still not dropping the Dragon Boogers as it is supposed to. (I too ran into this.) As they are still attempting to isolate the problem, please continue to message them as soon as you see ANY Dragon that does not drop the Dragon Boogers in your game once you have Chris the Giant in your game earning Materials and after New Dragon arrives (they will not show until he is placed and collecting Materials, and only on a brand New Dragon AFTER he starts collecting).
UPDATE 3/10: TinyCo was able to resolve the issue with the random Dragon not dropping the Boogers. Restart your device just in case to ensure it goes into effect. Also note: you MUST have Chris the Giant active PRIOR to a New Dragon showing up for the Boogers to know they need to drop. If Chris is not active (Material Bubbles over his head) and you get a new Dragon, it will not show them. Only a New Dragon AFTER his Material Bubbles show up (just like I noted in the paragraph before this one). 😉
GOLDEN EGGS
I have found that if you take out around 3 Mort Trolls at a time, you are more likely to get a Golden Egg out of them. Feel free to give this a try in your game once you hit Phase 2 and the Mort Trolls.
WEEK 2 CHALLENGE & TURRETS INCORRECTLY IN THE GAME
I already noted this in the Weekly Challenge Post HERE, but you will not see Week 2 Challenge arrive until Twice Upon a Time Part 5. It may arrive anytime to when you start it to when you complete it, so up to just as Part 6 arrives.
I also saw many stating that they saw the Week 2 Challenge reward BEFORE even completing the Week 2 Challenge. If you saw Turrets in your game for 5 Magic Beans and have NOT completed the Weekly Challenge, this should not be happening. Know that you still must complete ALL Challenges and they must be checked off in the Event screen in order to get the Grand Prize. Make sure you still complete the Challenge regardless if you see them or not, and report it to TinyCo if you have any questions.
LEADERBOARDS
TinyCo is still investigating accounts that have claims of “incorrectly banned” from the Leaderboards (Christmas & Star Trek). I know the process can take time, but they are still doing all they can to ensure those that did play fair get the rewards they should have. Just make sure you continue to follow up with them and give them time to go through each investigation as it is not a simple nor quick task to do. You can read more on ways to contact them in the post below.
Just make sure you relay any details to them when you do message them that will be useful. For instance in Star Trek… “I had over 20,000 Anti-Matter collected, I bought 1500 Pod Plants and was banned.” Any information that would help explain your Leaderboard results is useful. In the end, only TinyCo can resolve this. Remember, I am NOT TinyCo. I don’t work for them. I have no access to anyone’s games. This really has to be handled by them and on an individual basis. Only they can see into the game they made.

THE GAME STRUGGLES
I just wanted to take a quick minute to address this as I see it so many times. NO, this does not mean open season in the comments for pitchforks and torches. (Take that to What the Deuce.) This game is NOT an easy one. I can’t stress that enough nor say it enough. I mean that in a way that it will always keep you on your toes, be ever changing, and nothing is predictable when it comes to the drops. You can’t just tap tap tap and be done with it. It will take time. You will have to put in some effort. There will always be a Challenge in one way or another. Most of all, the game will ALWAYS be in steps and phases. That means that it will take time to do things. Time for an item to drop, time for a Character to unlock, time for you to reach a specific area. It is how this game has always been set up since day one. I know at times that can drive you mad and be frustrating, just try not to let it get to you. Panic is what creates the thought of “I have to spend money or I won’t get anything”. Don’t give into this. Another item I can’t stress that enough. Just keep playing and see where it takes you. ONLY spend if YOU want to and it will make YOU happy. Ask yourself, 3 months from now… will that purchase still make me happy? There are ways to earn items without having to spend spend spend. If you find yourself too frustrated, take a step back. Zone out from the game for a bit. Give yourself a break. Ask for help if you need it or tips from fellow Players. In the end, there is still a lot of really cool things in the game to take in. If you just gotta vent, use the What the Deuce posts and get it out of your system. Remember, games are supposed to be fun, so try to have some fun. Don’t let the “greed of the world” and the “I must have it all or I am a failure” mentality suck you in. It really isn’t worth it. You will just find yourself more unhappy. Just go at YOUR pace, do what YOU can, and see where it takes you. Have fun. 🙂

I’m having problems with the picnic baskets to unlock little red. I’ve done the jousting a couple of times and gotten at least 10 more picnic baskets but it’s not registering and still says I have only 5.

Hey guys, anyone see an issue with robbery point locking the game up and requiring a force close? EVERY time I try to complete that task it freezes. I contacted tinyCo and they were of no help 😢

My problem with dragons is that they keep dropping scales even though I have Wesley unlocked. A dragon just arrived to my Quahog and the payouts include scales but not hats even though I need hats!

Any tips for gauntlet and sapphire egg drops? I am totally bottle neck by these tasks. I have Peter, Wesley and Giant Chris, over 20k beans have almost enough hats for both princesses but I don’t have the Mort troll bridge because I’m getting no eggs. I send everyone with a gauntlet task out, set a timer and I usually get at best 1 gauntlet out of the crew, it’s taking me 3/4 complete task cycles to get enough to wrestle and then I just keep getting beans. I have been stuck on pt 6 of the main quest line since Monday. Is anyone else having this much trouble?

All I can suggest is to message into TinyCo your progress and just keep trying. Hopefully now with Phase 3 out the drops will increase.

I have exactly the same problem. Very poor drop rates for gauntlets and when I finally get enough for wrestling (why not melee?), I only get beans.

Just chiming in to say I’m having the exact same problems. Hard to get gauntlets at all, but then time after time when I can finally send someone for training I get nothing but beans. I’ve been on the Twice Upon a Time Pt. 7 for days. Not a single egg. And I don’t have Giant Chris yet, nor am I doing well with the dragons, because I’m putting everyone I can on Gauntlet tasks or sending them to wrestle. I’m not a consistent premium player, but I’ll usually drop a bit for things I really want (or when I’m really frustrated), but in this case there’s no way to just buy a few eggs as far as I can tell, right? You have to pay 100+ clams for the building that drops them?
At this point I don’t know what to do; I know the main advice is usually to play the main questline, but I’m thinking at this point maybe I should just try to get Chris and give up on moving forward. What have the rest of you having this problem decided to do?

I am having a similar problem with the white dragon. It is clearly a phase 1 dragon but I have been in phase 2 for a while. I have chris out and being worked on and already have 9 boogers for him. This dragon is showing a payout of only beans, scales & princess hats and I have confirmed that is all i am receiving. I even took several screen shots to prove it. I messaged tiny co and they responded that they pushed a patch that they believe resolves the issue but tell me I have to wait for the next dragon. That doesn’t really help with the wasted potions and time I will have to wait for the next one.

I’ve just had the problem with boogers. After contacting them, there was a reply this morning that boogers wouldn’t drop if Chris the Giant building wasn’t complete when the dragon appeared, but I’d completed the building 14 hours before the dragon appeared.
I think the problem might be that drops are assigned as soon as a character is assigned a task, stops people from force closeing the game and restarting it until they get the drop. With the dragon, when the timer runs out, the next dragon is assigned the drops but doesn’t appear for a random time. If you complete the building inbetween, then the dragon has already been assigned it’s drops, so no boogers. But once that timer runs out, the next dragon will be assigned the boogers to drop.
So those who completed the building while a dragon was active would get them the next time a dragon appeared, while those who completed the building inbetween dragons will have to wait for the second dragon to appear, so could be looking at 2 or 3 days before they start dropping.

Hi so – does anyone know how to check how many potions you have if you let the dragon escape?
When you beat the dragon it tells you when you click that tower, but I got a black dragon and didn’t want to waste my potions on it so let it time out.
This time it shows a different screen, with no potions listed on it.
Any help is appreciated 🙂

I had the dragon issue on Tuesday. Messaged them on Wednesday when I thought about it and got a reply from someone saying that since I’d taken out the white dragon three times, I should’ve gotten ten boogers, so he’s crediting them to me. I thought, “Wait, wasn’t it six?” He sent another message right after, “Sorry, I misspoke. Clearing the dragon three times would result in six boogers, but I’ve credited you ten anyway” Haha. Yay for me!

I have the honor level, but I’m guessing the next phase drops tonight or Thursday.
For the new characters for this event i.e. Chris, Peter, and Westly I just bought the last requirements. The harps masks and swords were not dropping so I just used clams. I love The Princess Bride. I hope they do a Star Wars event because of the spoofs they did. I would drop clams like its hot on that event.
Oh and a shout out to Bunny. Thanks for taking time to make this site and do homework to help us die hard family guy fans. I’m always on here waiting for a post from you. You’re amazing❣

I’m enjoying this event, but dang. I can’t get the blue eggs to drop for the life of me! Easily the lowest drop rate of any item I’ve ever tried to obtain playing this game. Too bad I used my clams on the black knight (although I do like the character). I should’ve bought that thing that drops the blue eggs. That would cut out looking for the knight hands (rare) and the blue egg drops (ultra, premium, super rare drop). Maybe another two days and I’ll have giant Chris. Yea!! Is he separate from regular Chris? Interesting the knight Peter isn’t the same character as Peter. It’s good for the event though.

I messaged TC in-game about the boogers not dropping last Friday and haven’t had a response. Since then I’ve gotten all the boogers I need (never thought I’d be saying that lol) for Chris the Giant so it’s fine. But the message is still sitting there so when I sent another message about the Star Trek leaderboard prize, I’m not sure if they even see it or not. I was somewhere in the 600-700 range after the event ended but then my name was removed from the list. I never had a message saying I was banned. I also sent a screenshot of my latinum count before opting out. It’s not worth the effort, but it’s the principle. 😐

Had the Dragon booger issue myself with the white dragon this morning, messaged them straight away so hopefully they can start to isolate the issue. Thanks as always Bunny, always good to know an issue isn’t just isolated to my game.

On the note about events, I seem to do better on prizes as long as the theme clans format can keep me engaged enough so that I come back regularly.
This is the first event I’ve been really into in a while for FG! It’s nice to see that they kinda seem to be returning to the old event format: tap one enemy, bomb another, giant monster you take out in stages, no leaderboard (yet? At least, I haven’t seen signs of any in my game). I think I’m a tad behind, but I’m much more into this event than the football one or the recycled Star Trek event. I zoned on both, Super Bowl because I’m not a football fan and Star Trek because I already got everything I wanted from the first one (plus, it was V-DAY! I loved last year’s V-Day event. Star Trek was such a disappointment for it).
BUT THIS EVENT IS THE PRINCESS BRIDE!!! And other characters, but I’m mainly in it for the Princess Bride characters. I just need the hearts and masks for Westly, and I’m not sure how the princesses are supposed to work in the long run, but I’ve decided that, if I have to, I’m prioritizing Buttercup over Princess Lois. AND I already bought Fezzik, and hope to see an Ingio Montoya show up in the shop soon too.
