While we are waiting for the New Stuff to hit our games, I wanted to go over some of the things we are seeing right now in the comments. Those Wicked Glitches!

BLIMP STUCK
It’s been a lil bit, but I’m still seeing scattered reports of Players stuck on the Blimp and progression on it.
For the most part, this error was resolved but some still didn’t take the fix. I want to get an idea of who’s left so please provide following…
- Where are you stuck? Name and part # of Questline?
- Can you still see the Blimp in your water?
- If you can see Blimp, do you get an error tapping on it?
- What device do you play on?
You can post the info below or email it to me. Also if you can, email me your Player ID (DO NOT POST IT) if possible so I can have them target specific games to see cause. familyguyaddicts@gmail.com
UPDATE: Thanks to all that sent me info, I added it to the already list of things. TinyCo is still working on a patch for this and hopefully the NEXT update will have a resolution for it.

Seeing increasing reports of a Consuela Error…
Config empty for id chickenDeco in Buildings

UPDATE: I have spoke with a huge portion of you about this error and I think the majority of you now have an idea of it’s cause. If you want to discuss it further with me, you are more than welcome to still email me, but at this point and time… I have done all I can. Sorry.
UPDATE GAME
This is resolving for most, but please let me know if any of you are seeing error telling you to update game AND have got the new 1.29.0 or higher update.
For everyone else, 1.29.0 update has hit iOS and Google Play. Kindle & Facebook I’m not sure at this email time but let me know if you see it on Kindle.
I DON’T SEE EVENT
For now, EVENT IS NOT LIVE. When it does hit, a new post complete with rundown will go up.
Yes, there’s updates in the App Markets, but an Update means nothing until TinyCo “flips the switch” to release the new content into the games.
So sit tight and enjoy the quiet downtime before more fun chaos ensues.
DAGGERMOUTH MISSING
This is a known issue Tinyco is still working on. Please continue to message from your game if you’re impacted.
We will update once we hear more.
UPDATE: TinyCo is still working on the patch to correct the missing Characters “lost at sea” like Daggermouth, Peter Pan, and Davy Jones. Once they are able to get a patch, they will send an update out. Until then, hang in there. They will continue to work on it til it is resolved.
CRASHING
This game has a LOT of outside animation and “bad guys” usually during Events. Because of this, most devices… even newer… can struggle to keep all that live activity running on the screen. This causes the game to crash.
To combat this, it’s really best to limit what’s on your play field to the Main buildings used, then a few other areas of interest that you’ve set up. Too many Buildings, Decorations, Walking Decorations, etc can really drain your game memory ability and add to the crashing and lag.
More tips to help here….
BASICS
Of course there are random Glitches that pop up here n there. The main thing is to try the Basics. Then let us know if still issue and report to TinyCo if needed.
SIDE NOTE ON SOME GLITCHES
I just wanted to put this out there and please understand I say this due to I am trying to protect ALL Players. I am not doing it to provoke hate, anger, or mob mentality… so please keep that in mind.
If you or another accessing your game have now or in the past used ANY alterations to your game, you can end up losing your game. Those alterations, no matter how big or small, are adding coding into your game that does not belong there. At any point and time, that alteration WILL come back to bite you in the form of glitches, error codes, or complete game loss. Not to mention who knows what information is being taken from your device. It has in the past resulted in identity theft, bank accounts wiped out, and worse. I will not allow or promote alterations as I have seen the damage to Players from simplistic to life ruining. I am hear to HELP others, not hurt them or put them in harms way.
If any games have been altered, TinyCo will not touch them. There’s no way to tell how much “damage” was caused and correcting one issue can make a thousand more appear… not to mention the alteration means it is no longer their game.
I know and get all the arguments as to WHY people turn to alterations, but time and time again… I see the same results. You will have issues accessing your game, major glitches, loss of ability to participate in Events, or you’ll end up losing your game completely and all the work you did put into it. Just not worth it in the end in my personal opinion.
If you feel you are flagged with an altered account unfairly/wrongly, please take it up with TinyCo and further the discussion with them.
I really wish there was more I could do to help, but if the game is not played as intended…there really isn’t much more I can do. Sorry. 😦

Bunny, since you have the inside track on information, can you confirm that the event is being worked on and it is possible to launch any second and we are all not waiting for something that isn’t going to happen until Monday’s business hours? If it isn’t going to happen tonight or tomorrow, I would love to take the opportunity to blow up my town and get things ready for the new event. I’m afraid to do so and have the event launch in the middle of having everything in inventory. Thanks Bunny!

Any second? I can’t guarantee that. There is no word of it hitting this weekend so far. All I can do is go off what TinyCo has updated me with. The release date and time is still up in the air as of this moment. If anything, send Characters on tasks that are not that long and will be done by next time you check your game (so 4, 6, 12 hrs etc)
Wish I could offer more, but until they are sure it is ready… they are not going to release it. 🙂

HELP!!!!! I can’t take it anymore!!!!!! I keep loading my game waiting….waiting……I see posts about problems with the blimp or whatever, and I realize how bad my addiction is because I’m so bored I’d almost rather be frustrated with a problem then have nothing to do!!! I want some Halloween stuff!!! I can’t TAKE IT MUCH LONGER!!! Maybe wine will help???

Haha Bunny. I’m not complaining about the break, extremely happy to have been able to finally clear out my quest log (still had some blueberry Peter quests in there even). Even if I am excited for a X-files related event.

you’re so right on that LMAO i think we all are a little bit of both somehow lol, but i am enjoying these couple days before this event… and i called it Quahog Halloween decorating 101😂all those leaves and pumpkins from the very first event(thinking it was GhostBusters theme?!) i have so many multiples of all of them.

On the ye olde blimp trippe pt 4 time travel to the renaissance i press go it dont di anything cos the blimp is gone ive got olivia then it went how can i fix it

Contact TinyCo from your in game support than give them time, they are working on a fix.

I think sometimes it is better to finish missions unlocked sacrificing character search of drops which of course will be involved in it

Mine says to tap the blimp construction site and there isn’t one anywhere to be seen.

Before the update, my robot fish (I forget his name), was in the middle of a quest he cannot finish. He’s stuck under a blue field of unplayable water. Trying to get to his check mark is not visible…the Peter dialog just comes up and says awww, we need to finish this first before we do that. Maybe that will be fixed too.

I’m surprised no one’s mentioned yet because TinyCo was aware of my issue and said it’s impacted many players, but my Daggermouth was on a task when Pirate Event ended and now Daggermouth is “stuck” in game. Task still there but task button and character profile shortcut takes me to part of water relocked up by event ending. Anyone else in similar situation or get your Daggermouth back yet?

I have an issue with game where Daggermouth was sent on a quest just before the last event ended. This now means he is stuck outside the playing area. I still have a quest to make him do the robot but I cant select him as he is outside the playing area. It says he is busy doing something else if I try to select him. I just cant end the quest he is on.

Stuck on Dance Hall Days pt. 4 they want Strewie to travel to the Wild West but when I hit go..nothing happens.

I still do not have the Halloween stuff but yes it did update on my phone but when I go in it doesn’t update again yes everything from our last pirate stuff is gone but the Halloween stuff is not there but yet it updated in my phone and on Google Play please let me know what is going on as you can fall behind quickly

What the deuce with the ads on here saying Goldie Hawn or Jennifer Anniston died, it’s just not right, this is a disheartening way to get attention.

You do realize that ads have NOTHING to do with us what do ever?
All ads are controlled by YOUR online searches, IP, and what you’ve been watching, reading, and/or looking at online.
For instance if I Googled coffee and went to some sites about it… the ads I would see on the page would probably be Starbucks, dunkin donuts, and all things coffee.
If you don’t like the ads your seeing, change your current online searches. 🙂

It’s the ads on here, I thought they were the same for everyone. I know it’s not you. I am probably getting them due to my gender and age, not what I search, as it doesn’t correlate with my searches. Believing the news, I clicked on the one for Goldie, turned out to be selling anti aging cream.

I am stuck on Dance Hall Days Pt. 4. I have no blimp and when you click on go for that task either from Olivia or the task itself, nothing happens. I did email Support and they responded that it was being patched with the next update but if mine does not get corrected to email them back. I have tried running the game on my table, android emulator and facebook and it doesn’t work on any of those. So basically stuck waiting for the update as I have no other tasks except for Tan Lines.

Only get occasional crashes but has done it since I started playing last year so isn’t too bad and im used to it..

I have one. A quest stuck in my queue from the dinosaur event. Wants me to send Dino tamer Peter out to do something. Problem is I never earned him. It’s down there and when other events get busy I worry I’m overloaded because of it.

I did have an issue related to the last event – I unlocked Salty, but basically used him to battle and earn stuff for the main quest line and purposely left his (and Lois’ and Peter Pan’s and Daggermouth and Shamus’) side quest lines until the event was over only to find I needed Daggermouth’s Merch Table to complete Salty…except, it disappeared from the store at the end of the Booty Haul event,,,I messaged TinyCo and they did say they were aware and would address it…not a big deal, except Salty is stuck on Part 2 until I can purchase the table…oh, well…

On Pirate event issues, does anyone else have non-moving drunky and line dancing monkeys? Drunky moved for a little bit, but doesn’t now. Also, worms are still showing as quest rewards. Arr others seeing that too (see what I did there)?

Dance Hall days part 4. The blimp disappeared right after I placed Olivia’s house. Messaged TinyCo support and they replied saying it would be addressed in the upcoming update……It wasn’t

I’m stuck on “Walk Like an Egyptian pt. 2”. The blimp is gone and there’s nothing else to do. My only other quest (The Future was just now) needs Olivia to complete, so, I’m waiting for Halloween.
I already email TinyCo and they answered sating all would be resolved at the next update. Let’s see…

Yeah, about a week or two ago I was finishing up the blimp quests when it suddenly disappeared. Thankfully, customer service helped me out by automatically flagging my game as having completed the final task just by me telling them it had disappeared.

I’m stuck on dance hall days part 4. My blimp is gone! 😱 It’s my only quest so I can’t advance right now at all. I play on my iPhone 6 (my phone and game are completely updated)
I also have a question. I emailed it to tiny co, but nobody answered. I don’t have Pawtucket pat yet (since I’m stuck in the fine arts district), but I earned the candy man outfit for him during that candy land event. Do you think I’ll get the outfit when I finally unlock him?

Your second question any costumes unlocked usually sit waiting in Al Harrimgtons until you unlock the character, then you can use them.

Not so much a glitch as a possible design faux pas but any idea if they’ll ever give the handful of dinosaurs that don’t have the ability to level up since the event ended that ability (not through training in their pen but through normal tasks)? It doesn’t affect game play but my a$&@ retentive side is pulling his hair out! 😜
BTW… after seeing your witch Lois, I’m thinking she would have made a great Orion Slave Girl in the ST events!

Rocky Point Manor is James Woods creepy mansion in an episode of Family Guy, but in this event it’s his haunted hotel. We will need to wait until the event is live to see what’s going on.

Bunny, what if you can’t get in the game, which means that you might miss the daily quests to get Stewie bucks…that would be out of my control since I can’t even get in the game to try to get them

That’s something you can address with them when you message in your error code report as each issue can be a separate cause and separate time line of resolution for every player. 🙂

Gee,I haven’t seen my blimp for a long time, so I think I stored it. I checked my inventory, buildings and decos, and nope!!! No blimp! It flew away!

If you finished Fine Arts District, it’s gone. Issue is only for those still stuck there on Questlines.

I’m stuck on Ye Olde Blimp Trip Pt 4 (travel to renaissance). There is no blimp in the water at all… although the space is reserved and I can’t put water objects on there. I’m on Android, via LeapDroid on PC, which apparently identifies itself as a Nexus 7 running 4.4.4. Game updated this morning (10 hours ago) to 1.29.2

I’m not sure if anyone’s put this forward so I’ll risk asking, lol.
I sent Mother Maggie on the Daily Quest about a month ago and cannot get her to finish the task, tapping on the check mark, it just closes the game down. I can still do daily quests though, she’s just stuck in my game waiting to finish that quest… forever…(evil laugh).
Done with whole troubleshooting too.
Thanks for any advice, the game would be impossible without Family Addicts in my opinion

Ok, back on track, I think this latest update fixed my wicked glitch, and Mother Maggie has finally finished her 2 month long quest.
