Hello There Questers!
We’ve got the first part of the walkthrough here from the basic game start up to unlocking the Shopping District. Unfortunately, there are subtle differences in tasks and dialogue between the BETA and the full version of the game so this is being posted a little slower than I had hoped. Hopefully they next sections should go up a little faster! 🙂
This basic walkthrough (dialogue free) will get you through the game start (tutorial) all the way to the point of unlocking the Shopping District. Up to unlocking Quagmire the quests/tasks should be as indicated here. After you’ve unlocked Quagmire I’ve just posted them as they appeared to me in the game, they may come in a different order for you but the quest is still the same.
Tutorial
The game will walk you through these steps and how to play. The walkthrough is just so you know what you have to do, how long it will take & who you need to use to complete it.
Make Peter Put Out Fire– 10 s, Earns $5, 3xp
Fix Griffin House– 5 s, Costs $5
Repair of House Finds Chris!
Help Chris– complete the tasks, collect the stuff to unlock Chris!
Unlock Chris Requires:
1 Pants– Earned by: Make Peter Tear Away Pants, 4 s, Earns $3, 2xp
Coins– Need 5 total coins, collect from Griffin House (this is the first point in which you’ll earn Clams. You find 5 golden clams in the Griffin house)
1 Dirty Sock– Earned By: Spending clams. This is the ONLY way to unlock Chris, so you will have to spend it. Fortunately, it’s only 1 clam.
To unlock characters: once you’ve collected all of the “Stuff”, you’ll need to go through their items again and tap the ones with check marks. Once you’ve gone through each one the lock over the character’s head will turn gold and show unlock. At this point take the character again to fully unlock the character.
Actual quests will start at this point.

Completed task earns $25, 20xp!
The Road to Rebuilding Pt. 1
Peter starts
Build the Swanson House (can be found in the shopping cart, bottom right corner. Again the game will show you how)- 5 s, Costs $10
Building Swanson House finds Bonnie!
Fulfill Bonnie’s Needs- Unlock Bonnie by getting Stuff
Unlock Bonnie Requires:
1 Adrenaline- Earned by: Make Peter Kick Stuff! 6 s, Earns $5, 3xp
1 Oregano– Earned by: Make Chris Find a New Friend 6 s, Earns $5, 3xp
1 Fireworks– Get from the Griffin House (will pop out when you collect coins)
UNLOCK CHARACTER
Completed task earns $25, 20xp
Bonnie’s Bake Sale Pt. 1
Bonnie starts
Build Bonnie’s Bake Sale Stand– costs $25, instant build
Completed task earns $25, 20xp

Bonnie wants to sell her goods- 6 s, Earns $5, 3xp
Completed task earns $25, 20xp
Shape up, Quahog Pt. 1
Chris starts
Make Chris Hula Hoop- 6s, Earns $5, 3xp
Help Chris Level Up- do tasks to get Chris from level 1 to level 2
Completed task earns $25, 20xp

Chris Wants to Play Fat Leapfrog- 6s, Earns $15, 8xp requires Peter

Erect Quagmire’s House- Costs $50, 1 min build time (note: the game will want you to use clams to speed up. You DO NOT HAVE TO! It’s only a min, wait it out and save your free clams!)

Help Quagmire Out- Unlock Quagmire by getting Stuff
Unlock Quagmire Requires:
1 Buttscratcher– Earned by: Make Peter Surf the Bird! 6 s, Earns $5, 3xp
1 Tissues– Earned by: Make Chris Nose Goblins 6 s, Earns $5, 3xp
1 Panties– Earned by: Make Bonnie Chug Wine 1hr, Earns $20, 12xp
1 Tub of Vaseline– Get from Quagmire’s House (will pop out when you collect coins)
UNLOCK CHARACTER
Completed task earns 5 CLAMS, 20xp
Put Some Bling On It
Chris starts
Place any 2 Decorations– pick any decorations from the shopping cart. I recommend the Spooner St. Sign because you’ll need it for a later quest as well

Check out FaceSpace
Peter starts
Check Peter’s FaceSpace- follow the instructions in the game to view FaceSpace.

Enter the Clam Quarter- New district to unlock!

Visit an Alternate Quahog– Follow in game instructions to visit the default town (Ollie’s)

Repair of the Clam finds Jerome!
Help Jerome- Unlock Jerome by getting Stuff
Unlock Jerome Requires:

1 Pawtucket Ale– Earned by: Make Peter Hang Out at the Clam or Get it from the Drunken Clam
1 Burger– Get from McBurgertown (will need to build. Costs $50, takes 1hr)

This is a special offer on clams and coins. You DO NOT have to complete it to progress in the game. It will stay on your task bar, for how long I’m not sure, but you DO NOT have to complete it.

Place the Spooner St. Sign– Costs $25 (if you already placed it from the Bling on it quest you will not have to place a second one. It will be completed already)

Connect to Facebook- You are not forced to do this. The task will stay in your task bar if you don’t, but it will not hinder your game progress if you don’t complete it.

Place any deco from the Featured Tab- Most are premium items but there are some freemium including the Welcome sign ($250), Lincoln Memorial ($50,000), Lady Liberty’s Foot ($100,000) & Stewie Dictator Statue ($150,000) You can wait to complete this task. Not completing it will not hinder your progress.

Hi bunny and Alissa, I’ve got a couple of simple questions for y’all.
First… How in the heck do you know so much stuff about Family guy??
Second … Do you still play?( if so… I would love to see y’all’s quahog) Or does answering all the questions take up all your time? Lastly I just wanted to say THANK YALL SO MUCH FOR WHAT YALL DO! I get most my information by just playing the game. All the stats and info are pulled while I play through each level.
Additional stats I get clarification on from TinyCo if I can’t find it myself.
My Quahog is constantly blown up and redesigned each event. A mess right now. Lol.

How do you delete and sell items

If you tap on an item, you will see if there is a $ symbol by it. That usually means you can sell it. You will see this when the item is in Inventory. Some items, especially those that are unique and Event only based, may not be able to be sold to keep players from “accidentally” selling them.
If you can’t sell an item, store it at least and get it out of the main game at least.

Every time I go on the app, it kicks me off after about 20 seconds, and none of my characters are doing what i made them do. The coins are uncollected and I have to redo everything. Its getting really annoying and I’m close to just deleting it but i don’t want to as I have put a lot of time into it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to no avial. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like a possible connection issue. You on data or WiFi for the game? Any other troubleshooting tried? Like if it works better using one over other?

Hi, I currently have no active quests in the toolbar, have everything from the startup, but it still won’t unlock the shopping district. Any suggestions? I’m getting bored just doing random tasks for no reason. I’m at level 8 and ready to delete… thx!

Did you make sure the characters needed were available? Land cleared? All tasks completed from the prior district? Nothing else needs to be purchased like buildings?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game….if that doesn’t help next best bet is to contact TinyCo. Could be something specifically wrong with your game

So am I just stupid or what, my task bar has disappeared and I don’t know how to get it back ): note that this was after the game crashed twice trying to visit an alternate quahog..

Tap the clipboard on the bottom far left, from your main Quahog. That should bring it back up for you. 🙂

There is no clipboard, absolutely nothing. I’ve deleted the game anyway as it was using too much data and credit. I might reinstall on a different plan

Are you currently building anything else or clearing land? You can only build/clear 1 thing at a time unless you add more workers.

I am having the same issue. Chris keeps on talking about Joe entering the talent show but doesn’t prompt me to make anyone do anything to complete the task..it’s really annoying.

If the task is unlocked in his menu, it is just a matter of clicking on the item bubble and dragging it over to the bubble above his head.

Hi,f or the quest clam juice 2..i have to help jerome with his bar..and under the pawtucket ale task, i had to make buzz killington hang out at the drunken clam..i can’t afford him..does this stop me? i have 150 clams.

No, you only have to do one of the options given. I got confused with it too 🙂

As our cool writer wilki already pointed out…no worries. The premiums will pop up occasionally with the regular game play. It is completely up to you if you wish to add ANY premium to the mix. But at no time whatsoever do you HAVE to purchase premiums to complete regular task items. So if you do not want to let go of those clams just yet, you don’t have to. Just hang on to them until you see something you really want. 🙂

Hi! First of all, congrats on the site, looking great so far.
I have a question though. When Peter starts the quest to clear the block, they ask me to upgrade the man helping rebuild with 50 clams. Am I not able to expand unless I spend 50 clams? Because that’s what it seems like and it will probably drive me away from the game.

Hi, I’m afraid you have to spend 50 clams to upgrade the building, however you do not have to, it just makes things quicker so that you can build more than one thing at once.

Is the quest that’s exclusive to iOS the Fools Gold quest line? Because around Clam Juice Part 4, I started this Fools Gold quest line that is not mentioned in this awesome post. Part 1 was to bang Peters knee for 2hrs. Part 2 to buy a gold pool for 2000 coins. Part 3 is to make Peter a gold suit, but I can’t do that until my fashion district is unlocked. I’m assuming this Fools Gold quest line is the iOS exclusive you speak of.

Yup exclusive to iOS. I do have my iPad going on the game too but I’m not quite there yet on the iPad. Currently running 3 games to see if there are differences but the iPad is a bit behind. Should have more details on that line later today 🙂
