Hello There Clammers!
How are my favorite Clammers today? Everyone racking up as much Blam! as you can? So now that phase 3 Comic-Con Event has been launched, and Giant Stewie has been introduced into Quahog, everyone should be earning that Blam! at a decent rate. So whatcha gonna do with all that Blam! you’re collecting? Besides get one heck of an energy drink buzz, you’ll unlock really cool prizes of course!
While many items during the event will cost you some Blam! (or clams), the cool thing about Comic-Con is you’ll earn prizes at various collection points along the way. AND…these prizes won’t take from your Blam! on hand! After all, who couldn’t use a little Blam! pick me up every now and then? So let’s take a look at the sixth prize you’ll unlock during Quahog Comic-Con, Red Hot…
WARNING….MILD SPOILERS AHEAD
There are a total of 10 Blam! prizes ranging in cost from 65 Blam! up to 100,000 Blam! The sixth Blam! prize will cost you 35,000 Blam! collected. Remember these are total collected (bottom right) NOT current on hand (top left, next to cash). So it’s a running total for the entire event, so even if you lose some Blam! along the way you’ll still unlock the prizes when your OVERALL total reaches the unlock point.
Overview & How to Claim:
Once you reach 35,000 Blam! collected you’ll see the claim box pop up:
Once you claim her you’ll have to create her. Don’t worry no stuff to collect, it’s basically an instant create. However, it will still take you to your inventory and you’ll have to hit create.
Red Hot is part of the Fabulous 4 Character Collection and unlocking all 4 will earn you 25 clams!
She comes with a small questline and a set of tasks the help you earn more Blam!, so let’s break them down for you.

Personal Opinion:
I like this one. I’m a fan of the costume for Lois and glad you don’t have to collect stuff to completely unlock (just 35,000 Blam!). Also, happy to finally have a full set of tasks for Lois to earn Blam!, just wish it hit sooner than 35,000 Blam! so you can utilize Lois a little more early on. Otherwise, I’m a fan. Although she only has 1 outdoor task…(she could use a few more…*hint hint hint* TinyCo)

I also lost all my items for Mid life Crisis Lois because of Red Hot Lois. I sent a message to tinyco through the contact thing in the game. does anyone know if they will do anything or will i have to spend another week getting stupid hats.

Is lois supposed to have a task to earn pestisides and I just don’t have the building yet? They originally said all superheroes would earn them but I can’t see hers.

If you are making a “timed” costume at Al harrington’s when the award comes up for Winning Red hot Lois, DON’T create the costume right away. I was 6 hours into making Midlife crisis Lois and when I won the Red Hot Lois. I was so happy I made her outfit right away only to find out after words that it cancelled out the Mid life crisis Lois outfit and now I have to gather another 15 Exorbitant hats again along with everything else. I notified tinyco, but I don’t expect them to respond to quickly while they are working on everything else.

random thought i had a while ago and now just have to ask it. if/when i get to the 100k and get takei is there a bunch of items to collect for him to unlock him after i win him??
if i get there it will be at the last minute and doubt there will be time to unlock him with a bunch of “super ultra mega epicly rare from a 24 hr task” items. just wondering as i’d hate to “win” him but then lose him due to not “unlocking” him fast enough.

With a game that adds cool new stuff each week…we really have no way of knowing what comes, or if anything comes after George. Right now, he is the end of the line. Whether that changes or is added to is up to TinyCo.

sorry i did not mean to ask if there will be anything after him to win. i am wondering if i will have to “unlock” george AFTER i “win” him by getting the 100k.
you know like the other characters/skins need 10 hams, 15 records, 20 puppies and 5 seashells to be able to use once they are available. folks have posted already getting him so i figure someone can say whether he is just given to me or if i have to do some tasks first.
i hope this makes my question a little clearer

OH…nope. Once you hit the 100K Blam! you will get a pop up announcing you have won him and give you option to collect now or later. I suggest NOW when you see that option. 😉

Bunny do you have knowledge if you have to get a ton of items to unlock George after you hit 100K? Just have a feeling that if I get lucky and collect 100k it will be the last day and I won’t have the time to collect the items if he does need it lol. Thanks 😉

No items needed. You only have to hit 100K and he is yours. Just go collect him and he is right in your game. 😉

My unofficial two cents — I didn’t have to do/collect anything to claim Red Hot Lois, or spend Blam/coin to claim the building prizes, so my expectation would be that George Takei is also a true prize (as opposed to Patrick Stewart or Ron Perlman, who need to be unlocked but were never advertised as “prizes”). Going to claim your Takei prize and discovering he’s not so attainable would be a pretty d*** move, and I haven’t seen anything in my (admittedly limited) experience with TinyCo to suggest they’d pull something like that. Now, they might make you sit through a time share spiel… (kidding!)

I religiously play. I spend money frequently. I’m an android user. I just don’t understand how I an not getting very much blam daily… I’m only at 19000. Anybody else feel like they are putting in so so so much effort and not getting anything to show for it? Im striving to get red hot Lois but it looks like it’s going to be next week before I can!?! When I spend my next ten bucks I’ll have exactly 500 clans.. Should I buy Bryan Cranston or should I buy something that gives out blam????????

Bryan does indeed help your Blam and this is why I say that. He gives out 1 of each color pesticide every 2 hours (sometimes 2 of 1 of the colors). This helps to defeat giant stewie…which in return gives you a LOT more Blam!. To me he is the wise choice, but up to you how you spend your clams. Otherwise, send Peter repeatedly on his Surf The Bird task and that will help pick up more Blam! too.

I also play all the time during the week and am an Android user (still miffed about the week late start, but i digress). After some deliberation I bought Cranston (my first in game purchase). I was way behind on unlocks (finally unlocked Perlman today) and the daily blam pace needed to finish. After 2 25x streaks with giant mutant stewie over the past 2 days, I am actually a little ahead of pace to get 100k – thanks in huge part to Cranston and his pesticide collection. If you want to finish, I would probably recommend Cranston over anything else. Plus he’s pretty kick-ass.

Why? It is just another addition. Giant Stewie is here to stay. Only way to become he will become useless is if you want to stop collecting Blam! multipliers. 😉

Was worried if he mutates into something that doesn’t take pesticides to kill and instead takes giant Nerf darts like it looks in the teaser picture that maybe Cranston won’t drop Nerf darts. Maybe giant Nerf darts will only be dropped by the new premium character. Maybe just my pessimism getting the better of me.

First question, is Felicia unlocked?
That task is a “dual” task that requires Felicia to be unlocked and able to complete her part of the task at the same time. Until then, the task will not count.

I lost two weekend days of working on all this stuff because of the bug and now if feels like I won’t accomplish anything. I know it’s just two days, but I was already not getting the item drops for Ron very often. I’m not even close to unlocking him. I really wanted to get to 50k for the Q, but now I’m just hoping to get 35k. /end whining 🙂

I’ve had Quagmire doing the 4hr record task for 2.5 days straight and he absolutely refuses to drop the last record for Ron. Peter has been doing his sundae task for 2 days straight and hasn’t dropped a single one. I only have 1 sundae, and even clearing all 4 stewies doesnt give me one. If I do the trick others do where they take out giant Stewie and then zap the smalls ones I don’t get a sundae from little mutties instead of a pesticide, I get NOTHING! Is anyone else having this problem or is my game just cursed?

GMS has made the Blam! count a lot easier to manage. I was 5000 behind and he allowed me to now stay ahead of the Blam! calendar you have posted. I should get Red Hot today or by Thursday at the very latest.

Anyone else having trouble getting Ron items to drop since Felicia showed up? Have only gotten one for him and that was from Quagmire. Not a single drop from either Stewey, buildings or nerds (all have been hers or those darned hams). I was so close to getting him, and now seem nowhere near…

I unlocked Ron before Felicia hit the games, anyone else noticing this?
I do know that even before Felicia hit the games items from Quagmire were hard to get for Ron.

I’m still working on Ron (I wasn’t originally sure I wanted to get him, depending on the other celebrity options). I recommend Captain Hammered for the film and Bruce for the puppies, and definitely use the frequently-suggested tip of alternating tasks once one pays out (i.e. Once CapHam drops film, do a dozen “Surf the Birds” before sending Peter for more film). Also, someone posted a tip about zapping Latcher Stewie in the 30 seconds while GMS is regenerating (to get something dropped besides pesticide) and I got puppies that way as well.
It may also help to not want the celebrity — I’ve never heard of Felicia and had no interest in obtaining her character but have almost collected everything she requires. Your mileage may vary, of course. 🙂

Ron items were a pain in the butt but he had so many people able to collect for him that I got him shortly after Felicia showed up. I find Felicia slightly easier to collect for because most of her stuff (almost done) is dropping from the Q hotel, the Clamterprise or nerds.

Yeah, her stuff is dropping fairly steadily and I may even finish her first!. But yes, Alissa, Quagmire doesn’t drop many. I was mostly getting them from Stewey or buildings until now. He’s been on that 4 hour task for days to no avail.

Unlocked her yesterday. she is currently finishing up the 12-hour Task of Burning Dinner 🙂 I’ll then finish Girl On Fire Part 2 after doing the Throw Fire task for 1 hour.

I have some more Blam! math for you addicts…..
To check you current Blam! Pace…
P= total Blam! you are on pace for
c=current Blam! total
h=number of hours already gone in event
i=total event hours for iOS(1128)
a=total event hours Android(960)
Calculations:
iOS: c÷h×i=P
Android: c÷h×a=P
So, on Android if you had 30,000 Blam! And the event had run for 10 days…
30,000÷240×960=P
So…..P=120,000

Same thing happened to me. I was 6 hours into making Midlife crisis Lois when I won the Red hot Lois. I clicked on create right away an it wiped out my Mid life crisis Lois back to zero items. I guess Al haritons can only handle one costume at a time. It shouldn’t have let me create Red hot Lois until Mid life crisis Lois was finished.

I realized today that when I was crafting blobulous is also when I won red hot and started crafting the costume. Same thing happend. All items gone….including 3,000 blam. I used the contact us feature last night and haven’t heard back yet, but will update to let them know it had to do with red hot. Bummer though.

It’s spawning yellow nerds into your town faster, but the 4 yellow nerd maximum cap is still in place (regardless where they spawned from).

It will seem one color or another is dominate in each players games from time to time. I was a “green machine” for a bit until I saw “red”. “Orange” you glad you asked? 😉

Finally took the time to do a little math and found the best way to use your pesticides. The best way isn’t to save up until the very end, instead you should save up until you have enough to get 2500 Blam! one time and let the timer run out and repeat. Let me show you all.
If you were to do any less than save up to the point in which you will need 18 pesticides the at best you will go up to the point where you need 12:
100+300+800+1500=2700 Blam!
1+3+7+12=23 pesticides
2700/23≈117.39 Blam!/pesticide
Go any lower and the average will decrease all the way to 100 Blame!/pesticide.
If you go to exactly to the point in which you need only 18 pesticides then it will look like this:
100+300+800+1500+2500=5200 Blam!
1+3+7+12+18=41 pesticides
5200/41≈124.39 Blam!/pesticide
If you go any higher and decide to save up intil the end and spend it all in one go it’ll go from 18 to 29 and it’ll continue to increase, if you decide to do this way at best your average will be whatever it is at the point with 29 pesticides and it’ll look like this:
100+300+800+1500+2500+2500=7700 Blam!
1+3+7+12+18+29=70 pesticides
7700/70=110 Blam!/pesticide
The average for this one will continue to decrease since the amount of pesticide is going up, but the amount of Blam! isn’t after 2500.
I’m posting this for my fellow addicts so all of you who aren’t going for that 2500 and for those who want to wait till the very end and are cheating yourselves out of more Blam! please take my advice and take advantage of my math.

I was thinking the same way you are. I don’t need all the numbers though. I just look at base was 1 pesticide = 100 blam. The blam return only gets better at the 8x, 15x, and 25x. But then after you reach the max and claim it once it requires 29 pesticides for the same 2500 blam which is less then 100 blam per pesticide so I came to the realization that I’m going to have to cycle through this and get at least to the 8x each time but hopefully get to the 25x if I can and then let Stewie reset. At least now I have your math to show me I was doing the right thing. Having BC really helps the cause though. I think he was my best Clam investment so far…while Jake is probably the worst.

But I’m not worried about Blam/pesticide, I’m aimed at blam over time. because you never know which color you will need in which order you need to stock up all three colors and decide when to do. I wait till I have 11 of each (enough to get to 8x if i get same color 3 times in a row) and from there I have enough time to get to 15 and even 25.(so far only done 1 cycle). Then because a repeat of 25x is 29 pesticide I just gather them untill the timer runs out and start all over again.

You’re doing great, just keep working that Giant Stewie mini game and keep as many characters on pesticide collecting tasks (it pays more Blam than just collecting Blam from tasks). Also, when you defeat him at the 25x level (18 “can”) the first time, don’t defeat him at the 29 “can” 25x try, instead let the timer run down to zero, reset to 1x and start a new streak. Use the time it’s running down to collect more pesticides. The 29 can level actually lowers your Blam per pesticide ratio.
No word on the currently “invisible” Super Joe exclusive prize. TinyCo will only say….”Soon!” 🙂

I absolutely love the game. At near 23,000 right now (Android like you had to ask) but at this point Where is Superhero Joe? Or anything that could help us make up for the missing week? Tinyco has been awesome at listening to it’s customers..after its flub this weekend they showed class with today’s clams. So it is boggling my mind with including the time before they released this event why they couldn’t come up with an idea to put Android users on the same footing with their IOS friends..I mean we both pay the same real cash. Anyway awesome info on giant stewie strategy Cyber! Was wondering if it would be best to let it reset after the first 25 and you just answered it

One more thing to add, I can;t get 29 cans because every other pestecide is RED. WHEN WILL IT STOP? I have like 30 of the other colors…… Is anyone else getting the same color over and over again?

I was a green machine for awhile. But don’t do the 29 can defeat, anyway. Let the timer run down to zero (use that time to build up more “cans” and to break the pattern). The better Blams per pesticide ratio ends at the 18 spray can 25x defeat. 😉

Thanks again for your help. Do you have Brian Cranston to help you get pesticide? I do and my freakin god he is helpful. I also noticed that battery earning tasks on celebs shifted around. BC now gets it from robot dances, and fighting large monsters doesn’t get RP a battery.

Yeah, I saw the potential early with Cranston (plus I’m a big fan) so I bought him. They did move some pesticide tasks and other item tasks around today. And split up Ron’s battery/pesticide task. I like that TinyCo is always tweaking the game and keeping it “live” and fluid. It adds to the “happening now” feel. I’m really enjoying this event so far, bugs, glitches and all! 😉

You are too kind as always. If readers didn’t share their thoughts, ideas, tips and yes, their frustrations….this would be a very boring and unenlightened blog indeed. I totally agree with you about the premium characters. I have them all, too, and also tired of their lack of event participation. I can understand TinyCo’s stance up to a point (they want all players to have access to all event and game tasks) , but we have been trying to convey to them it would be a nice bonus to those that “pay the bills” and a greater incentive for others to make the purchases. Oh well…baby steps I guess. Thanks again for being an awesome, integral part of this silly ‘lil community and blog. 🙂

I may have missed the guide to this, but i’m a little confused about the pesticide multipliers and how to use them most effectively to get the most blam – how does the multiplier work? Is it a cumulative thing or just a one off? So for example, if i have the 8* multiplier will i earn 8 times as much blam as usual?

The info is in the post on Giant Stewie. It is all on the Prize awarded for defeating him. Which is 100 Blam!. So as you go up you multiply THAT reward. 100, 300, 800, etc…til you reach the 25X or 2500 Blam! each time you defeat him. It adds up fast.

Agreed, one outdoor task? Really? This is like having to take over a month to unlock Stewie, only to find that he has no Blam! related tasks at all. But at least we can finally get rid of the geeks!

I have to say, I tip my hat to tinyco. I haven’t had any major issues myself but they have just rolled out an apology to all players and given every player 50 clams for “being awesome”. I find that so lovely and respectful of them! Keep it up TinyCo!

Hey all, just seen the new thread but nothing memtioned yet on the. Clam reward, all players have been awarded 50 clams FOR BEING AWESOME in a repayment I guess from.tech issues and downtime. Im lucky and wasnt effected by this, im.a.freemium player and.have managed to.unlock.consuela thanks.to.the Clam.boost, just been saving towards.the premium.characters as a personal goal, im on.android and have 28 days to.go.and.just hit between 19k amd 20k blam giving me.a sort.of.aberage 1600 blam.per.day govibg myself.a.projection.of hitting.the 65k.target , I expext the.average to grow.because of.the giant.stewie. And.blam.rate while.unlocking the.new characters and.costumes, having similar problems.with ham.have 11 and 0 sundaes been.focusing.on pesticides.blam.and.items.for.the Ron.amd.felicia I expect.tinyco.will.sort this out or.giant stewie to.drop.a.few in the next. Week, I.would.like blobulous sooner but.a focus.on the main.story line.pesticides and.blam.rste I.may be able to.get close.to.the 100k.target good.luck.to.everyone.else.
I hope I have given certain people a benchmark to where they can.be at I work 12 hours a day and try to squezze some taps in but its a gd event with a lot of time to work on those freebies

I spent some clams on the event and am going up rather quickly thanks to a good battery and pesticide supply. I expect to hit 65k tomorrow as I am at 61k now. Have Captain Hammered, Blobolous, and Red Hot now all working on getting blam for the 100k goal. Considering I am on Android and have had a week shorter time I think I did ok this far.
Getting the free Clams as a compensation for the update mess will come handy in the future. Not sure I will need to spend more clams on the event unless they have some extra surprises the upcoming weeks.

Sorry I know this isn’t relevant to the post, but you guys do such a good job of providing info that it’s only right that we readers give back 🙂
I have just went on to collect my blam! And received a lovely apology from tiny co regarding the recent glitches (they didn’t affect me but it was still nice of them, I’m not complaining!) and that prize was a quick dialogue box and a lovely bunch of 50 clams!
Just thought I’d put it out there for others to check and take advantage 🙂
