UPDATE 8-15 2PM EST (Bunny): Due to confusion from players on Part 3 of “Bombs Away” with Blobulous, his two hour task to get Bombs will be disabled until Part 3 is completed. (People were sending Blobulous 2hr instead of Chris 4hr.) Then it will return. Also, Stan Lee Trailer not dropping will has a fix on its way.

Hello There Clammers!
Phase 4 of Comic Con is upon us! Another celebrity has hit our towns and Stewie has changed yet again! App Store Update has hit!
More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual…Peter kicks things off for phase 4! (note you have to have completed the Enfant Terrible Part 6 questline for phase 4 to start for you)
Warning Mild Spoilers Ahead
First let’s cover the new stuff….
When you first start the update you’ll go through the tutorial for bombing Stewie’s minions…THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And can only be stopped by Bombs. Peter kicks off this part in the questline called Bombs Away. Here’s the basic details (As always we’ll have a FULL rundown post of the details in the Stewie Bombs soon):
Once you go through the tutorial you’ll have to reload to enable the full bomb feature in Quahog.
You’ll have to hard close out of your game and go back in to trigger it to reload.
Various tasks will earn more bombs…or (of course) you can spend clams on them and buy more:

Long time reader, first time caller. Well, you know what I mean 😉 I will be very interested to see what the TQFS community develops as the best strategy with so much going on! What to focus on? I’m close to the 65 mark so I’m tempted to keep worrying mostly about pesticides to rack up the Giant Stewie hits. Especially since I’m so far not too worried about the car quests (even though I have them all so far). It will be interesting to see the strategems. I will say THANK GOODNESS for Cranston. Best loss of willpower I’ve ever had….

Lol….yes he is the best deal in town IMO. He’s a one man pesticide machine. Many are tapping on the minions to make them stop, then they wait for more to walk by. Glad you came out of the Great Shadow and joined the fun….now we expect to see you sharing again, deal? 😉

Does anyone know if minion Stewie can walk through buildings cause I was thinking of putting all my buildings close together to leave a lot of space for the minion Stewie’s to roam and easily tap on them in an area and get a lot.

minion octostewies are the closest thing this game has to arcade action. they do require patience – i managed to freeze four in one place and have two more walk into the smoke ring for a personal best of six in one shot.
they’re worth a lot of blam! too, 15 or 25 per octostewie. so if you get three or four in a single shot that’s at least 50 blam! per bomb. and bombs are a lot easier to get than pesticides.
i’d like to know how many minion octostewies can be running around at the same time and how fast they respawn. in this case, the more, the better.

Stay tapping them for a minute or so and trap a lot in one area I got 9 in one bomb by doing that you just have to tap and wait

I haven’t actually started to vanquish giant stewie for blam yet. Will I still be able to do that after I complete part 6 of Enfant Terrible, or will I only be able to use bombs instead of pesticides?

How do you decide which characters to send on which tasks? How do you get the most bang for the buck? Bombs, pesticides and chris and Stan tasks….. Trying to decide some kind of strategy.

The Giant Stewie was the hot ticket, but now it looks like “Minions” are where you want to focus. They payout a lot per bomb and blue nerds drop bombs regularly. More info coming. 🙂

Guess I figured out why we don’t have the event. Have not gotten that far in the quests. To busy getting blam for the girl. Guess this event is now over for us. I will still play but officially give up trying.

I haven’t even built the Fab Four place. I just got Super Lois and that was my only real want. Getting sundaes is not happening. Zapping Stewies only gives me pesticides. Peter won’t give one up. I did get them from the game castle but looks like they took that one away. I have spent a good 18 hours a day hitting nerds. I just don’t know if I should keep giving it my all.

The minion Stewies are dropping sundaes. This should help a lot of players. Just get what you can get. If the game is making you feel a little down, then take a short break from it and then go at it with new energy. 🙂

Killing minions is super easy. If you tap them they will freeze for a moment, keep tapping them and wait for others to pass by and all of a sudden you’ll have 5-10 easy targets every time 🙂

not really difficult i got 54 already and its only been 20 minutes. the blue nerds are a bomb making factory of their own so it shouldnt be to hard unless you dont have the time to play.

I realized it wouldn’t be all that difficult after the blue nerds started dropping the bombs constantly. I’m almost at a 100 tonight. It seemed like it would be much harder when it started

Best Way (so far) to get a bunch of minions at once…but ya gotta be quick. When you tap the minion he stops so start tapping minions repeatedly in an area until you’ve got a large group temporarily stuck, then as fast as you can hit the bug bomb and fire…got 10 on my second try that way.

Ha! I got lucky, I went to Stan Lee to see what was required to get him, saw that the Blam! already had a checkmark over it, and only had to pay like 50 Blam! I only had 10k Blam! and after seeing that it was supposed to be 15k, it was a relief.

Just downloaded new update (8/14/14) and bought 48 bombs. Reloaded game to get drop bomb button and now it wont connect to server. I connected to wifi it was working before the dl. What happened. Please help!!

I guess the fact that every time I try to launch the game and it says “Error! Cannot Connect to Servers” is due to the fact that my version of the game (on Kindle) has not updated to this yet.

I put all my characters that didn’t have any already existing stuff collecting tasks on 1 hour tasks all day in anticipation of this. At least none of Stan’s stuff requires Peter to get. It was hard enough to try to juggle it when Peter was needed for Ron Perlman’s Films (of which I still need one), one of Felica Day’s things (which I actually bought one of the Clam buildings with my saved up clams to get instead) AND pesticides.

It is and I’m already out of bombs I already have 40 minion stewies bombed and it dropped my last 3 sundaes for blobulous so I can concentrate on sending those three to the pharmacy for more bombs at all times yay lol.

I know you are super busy but a future post might be a FYI on the connection errors. Usually they are just temporary outages due to updates or server overload. Try again in 30 minutes or so for a couple of hours at the most. Most likely that they will disappear on there own. No need to panic or reload the game.

Thanks for the idea. The problem is, the post would move back in time. We even posted about taking a screen shot of your game ID in case you get locked out of the game, but players are still not doing it because the post as drifted back. lol But it is a good idea, and we’ll see what we can come up with. 🙂

Happened to me about 15 minutes ago, I updated, played and then after bombing some stweies I was in a middle of a conversation between Peter and Chris and then connection went out.

So the blue nerds drop bombs. That makes it easy to get them. Very good tinyco. If you kill 4 stewies per bomb you get almost 100 blam. With the high drop rate of bombs and stewies everywhere it looks like getting George takei without spending money is possible. If this is the case and I get George then I will actually put money into this game.
That was the one thing I hated about this game since it started. That king butt update was atrocious because it made you buy things to actually complete it. I’m in the mindset that you should be able to get all the rewards (advancing the storyline of the update) without paying for anything. Just some hardcore grinding and playing. Spending money should be for unique buildings/characters (Like Bryan Cranston) included in the update..
Not for the rewards of tapping a lot during the update.
So like I said…this game has sucked me in and if I do hit that 100000 blam mark..tinyco has gotten themselves a premium player…this is how tsto got me to spend money. Just keep it rolling tinyco.

The most I got with one bomb so far was 7 of those little buggers.
My average seems to be about 3.
I didn’t need to restart my game to get the bombsite to load, just visited my friends towns and then went back to my town.

Yup all is well now. But are any other Android users noticing that the game is staying open in the task manager even after you exit the game? This was never the case before todays update, so I’m curious why the game is now staying open in the background even though us Android users can exit the game via the back button.
