(People were sending Blobulous 2hr instead of Chris 4hr.) Then it will return. Also, Stan Lee Trailer not dropping will has a fix on its way.

Hello There Clammers!
Phase 4 of Comic Con is upon us! Another celebrity has hit our towns and Stewie has changed yet again! App Store Update has hit!
More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual…Peter kicks things off for phase 4! (note you have to have completed the Enfant Terrible Part 6 questline for phase 4 to start for you)

First let’s cover the new stuff….
When you first start the update you’ll go through the tutorial for bombing Stewie’s minions…THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And can only be stopped by Bombs. Peter kicks off this part in the questline called Bombs Away. Here’s the basic details (As always we’ll have a FULL rundown post of the details in the Stewie Bombs soon):
Once you go through the tutorial you’ll have to reload to enable the full bomb feature in Quahog.
You’ll have to hard close out of your game and go back in to trigger it to reload.
Various tasks will earn more bombs…or (of course) you can spend clams on them and buy more:

Hey guys freemium member and I just got the game awhile back and started the event at the 30 day mark and I am currently at the second week even though you guys are probably on the forth week already. Anyways I was wondering if there was a way that I could have quests from week two and three and hopefully four at the same way so I could catch up. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can get notebooks for Stan lee from the red nerds also I had 2 span in a bit ago and both dropped notebooks for me. 🙂 very lucky since it doesn’t say u get them from the nerds.

Little off topic but just for George Takei!!! (Spent more money than I should have…)
Love this new update. Have 113/300 so far and I only played about 2-3 hours since the update.
I bought Stan’s trailer and have him freed from the cacoon but it did not drop a notebook( already reported through the app)… I’ve spent good money on this game and I’d it would be nice if the premium items didn’t mess up like they do.
Other than that love the event and can’t wait to see what else is in store for us.

Wooho I got 11 minion stewie in one shot. I’m at 150 now with 3 days and 19 hours. And on top of it I got more ice cream bowls in this short amount of time than I ever have. 3 more to go on that. Plus I’m about to get hot louis I need about 300 more blam….

Try a hard close first. Then a uninstall/reinstall. If that doesn’t work you will need to send a message to TinyCo.

Great tip for getting as many minions in one hit as possible. You can squish them and they stay put for about 3 seconds. More then enough time to blast away. Personal best so far is 9 in one bomb. Love it. Like playing an old arcade game.

The movie cameras are extra rare and you need 15. Not 20 and always dropping as stated above. Sad face 😦

WOW!!! Not even 5 hours in and thanks to a glitch I only had to pay 50 Blam! for Stan Lee and thanks to the Minion Stewies I already have 5 classic books and 7 movie cameras.
Getting those notebooks though is going to take forever since Lois is the only one who can get them.

So, I have no minion Stewies. I updated but never got the reload screen. After that 3 minions came out of the center and I tapped them and got blam without using bombs. Then got the cannot connect . Uninstalled/ reinstalled. Everything seemed fine. Waited, waited, no minions. Peter finally finished his bomb task but I didn’t get a bomb and the bomb was no longer beside his task as a dropped item. Clicked the target icon and it told me error no minions and reset my game. Tried it again same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled again. Got the bomb icon back for Peter at least, no one else has finished yet. Sent him on it. Still no minions. I tapped the comicon icon and in the splash-screen it says how to earn more batteries not bombs. Now when I click the targeting button it’s gives me the same error and kicks me to the play store. But there’s no update. I can’t report to tinyco because my keyboard won’t pop up on my phone. Pops up fine for texting and the net but won’t for reports so I thought I’d put it here

Galaxy S3. I’m getting bombs now, just no minions yet.Blue nerds are dropping bombs. I don’t want to waste clams speeding anyone else up so I guess I’ll just wait and see and keep checking for updates. I’m up to eleven bombs now just from peter and blue nerds. I’ve got Stan and his flagpole will be rebuilt in 2h 20m, so that’s how long since I had minions. Surely if someone has killed 126 already I should have some by now?

Is it rare for an update to completely prevent the game from even loading past the TinyCo/Fox Digital Entertainment signs, cause that is what is happening to me

It can happen. You might have to uninstall your game and reinstall it (as long as it’s linked to an email or FB account). Use this guide if needed.

Same happening to me. Uninstalled and re-installed game but still nothing. Just the blue screen then it all shuts down. Have emailed Tiny Co. I never even got to the new stuff. Last time I logged in I had recently freed Felicia. I was hoping Stan Lee had arrived when I tried to login and it crashed, so I haven’t even started the minions or bombs or new car or Stan Lee.

Anyone having trouble getting bombs to drop? I hover over the spot I want and hit the button to drop the bomb but it just zooms in and doesn’t do anything. Am I missing something?

I’ve watched the minions go through a double fence in my game and recommend against that strategy, especially if we might be able to use game currency later in the event for mystery boxes that might up your blam total (instead of spending it in fence you can’t sell back).

Last week I contacted tech support to let them know I hadn’t received a space shuttle even though I completed the quest in time. They put it in my inventory. When I clicked on, “yes, this solved my issue” I was kicked out. Since then, my level 35 account with FB cannot log in. I have uninstalled/reinstalled almost daily. I can play as a newbie. But when I try to log in via my FB linked acct, it says I am unable to connect to the server. No one from tech support has even responded to my or my boyfriend’s tickets for me. I know they are busy, but this happened before the glitches and I haven’t heard anything. I just want to play again, even though I’ve lost a week in the event.

Try to uninstall/reinstall your game again, then follow this guide and see if it works (sometimes the second try is the charm).

My crosshair kept moving around after I’ve locked target and it just stays there and kept moving.

Everyone seems to be enjoying the new update. My game won’t even open. I get blue TinyCo screen then it closes down. Tinyco aren’t answering my emails. Have re-installed app and rebooted phone. It’s been about 3 hours now. Do you guys have any news about this?

I must already post a second time with a mea culpa! I might have to forget giant stewie as my primary focus. The little minions give good blam! And my nerds drop enough bombs that it feels like the game is trying to keep me doing nothing else. I will be very interested to find out what their spawn rate is, and what the spawn rate of minion mansion will be. I only wish I hadn’t focused on unlocking every inch of available land. Que sera!

I’m not updating on a weekend again. Last week was a complete nightmare. Only just able to login.

Don’t buy any more, it may have been a fluke that many are reporting doesn’t work for them. Just use the tap method to round up a bunch of “babies” before dropping your bomb. 🙂

I would try making several “net” traps in different locations since they seem to spawn in random areas.

I watch one spot and tap every minion that comes in that area until enough gather in the same location. If you tap them, they pause to shoot ink at you. Keep tapping them before they move again until a bunch are in the same area then bomb. I’m getting 6-9 per bomb like this.

They either need to keep the minions out of the corners of the available land or they need to let us scroll further because you can’t get the center if the bomb sight I to the corners 😦

Over 100 now seems like the bombs are a better way to get blam than the giant stewie since they dropping 15 or 25 each also got a couple clams from them as well after bombing 🙂

People I’ve been watching this for an hour non stop. Minion WILL go into an office farm, between buildings. He Will NOT go between doubled fence. I have fenced in an area in front of the ComicCon pad where he spawns, I’m hitting 7-9 with each bomb.

2 Gripes I have with this event so far.
Bomb Stewies – I have as much as the town unlocked as allowed to, because of this, the stewies are spread out too much, so I can’t get anymore than 3-4 at a time. They just will not cluster more together. If it continues like this, there is no bomb 300 stewies quest is doable, i’ll top out at maybe 150 tops if I’m lucky. I can see now this would be far easier with much less of the town unlocked.
Vanquish Stewie with Pesticides – I’m currently sitting on 83 Red Pesticides and 92 Green Pesticides and 0 orange. It continually keeps asking for orange… why? The last 9 vanquishes has asked for orange. Even if I broke down and spent clams on every single thing possible to maximize my orange pesticide drop, I can never get more than an 8x bonus before it resets. If this keeps up, even spending the max amount of clams to buy your way to George Takei isn’t even possible. Tinyco needs to either eliminate the randomness of the pesticide needed in favor the pesticide you have the most abundance of. Either that or require an even amount of all 3. Seems a bit ridiculous I’m sitting on nearly a hundred of both the red and green one and cant break an 8x multiplier.
