Phase 4 of Comic Con is upon us! Another celebrity has hit our towns and Stewie has changed yet again! App Store Update has hit!
More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual…Peter kicks things off for phase 4! (note you have to have completed the Enfant Terrible Part 6 questline for phase 4 to start for you)
Warning Mild Spoilers Ahead
First let’s cover the new stuff….
When you first start the update you’ll go through the tutorial for bombing Stewie’s minions…THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And can only be stopped by Bombs. Peter kicks off this part in the questline called Bombs Away. Here’s the basic details (As always we’ll have a FULL rundown post of the details in the Stewie Bombs soon):
Once you go through the tutorial you’ll have to reload to enable the full bomb feature in Quahog.
You’ll have to hard close out of your game and go back in to trigger it to reload.
Various tasks will earn more bombs…or (of course) you can spend clams on them and buy more:

Pesticides still drop. Task for them are still there. Giant is here to stay…so business as usual. Just…LOTS of minions running around now too. Lol. Update won’t trigger til you complete Enfant part 6 and beat him 3 times.

Yippee kai yay minion Stewies!!! I just zapped 10 of them at once in my “H” road funnel in the middle of my game… I had set these up starting years ago in TSTO since I find they are the best way to funnel moving characters.

Imagine a capital H on its side. Make a road to look like it. Then extend all roads except the crossbar. If you tap the minions on the crossbar of the H untill you build up a good number of minions (10+ is a good number) then drop a bomb in the center of the crossbar you should hit 90% of them. My best is 12 dead from 15 in the H. I know its not a ss but its the best i can do as my game crashes if i ss

I hope we get word on how maybe to guide them in a general direction. I mean I know how to make them stop but it would be nice to be able to lead them into one general location then tap them to make them stop and then BOOM! They all die lol.

Up until now I’ve had some success by clearing a block in the middle of the city. They seem to spawn and run around thar region more often, and the clear block gives you more visibility. Managed to get 8 at once this way =)

My record is 9 🙂 . I was holding about 6 of them hostage by tapping them rapidly to freeze them. As 3 more were walking towards my trap I bombed it with my frozen 6 dead center and the other 3 walked right into it …. Lol !!!

My Android device isn’t updated yet and there is no update available at the PlayStore. Omgggg…. I want to bumb da squidward Stewie’s. ;d And I need to go to school at the 25th of august I’m literally crying since I hate school (mean kids, I wish I could spray Stewie pestiside in their faces) and I can’t play on a regular base. Q_Q

Am I the only person whose game ended the event? I haven’t gotten a response yet from the devs and am missing out on valuable event time and progress. Reinstalled the name with no effect. HELP!

There are a few out there that this happened too. I am still looking into it to see where they are on the issue. Sent another email this morning actually to get an update. If it has been a couple days and no response, feel free to also reach out to them via your game menu and see if they can provide you as well with an update on it. Let us know

STILL waiting for the Kindle update. I wonder what the time frame is for this. Later today? Tomorrow? Sometime this weekend? Next week? I’m frustrated, wondering what the delay is, yet also kind of hoping they fix all the bugs people are talking about before I get into it.

Brians Song# I am glad you caught.my tip.aboht the freezibg it seems most people have worked it.out., there isnt really any other way to max the amoubt of stewies I tried takeink.ouy all the roads and.focusing on one point but. Didnt help, the only other thing I can mention is aim where stewies.are.going towards and tap.some.in the moddle, the stewies are as.fast as the spreadibg smoke.so.some.can get away! Hit 100 steies in.2 and a half hours so this car will be easy
It would.be.interesting.to work out a comparision on the benefit.of the bombs.compared to.pesticides

Considering the spawn rate Im seeing, pesticides continue to be a better way to earn blam than bombs and minions. Sadly the minions are needed for stan lee and the drops are really down after the initial burst.

One question though. In previous events once the event is over, buildings that dropped the special currency, do they start to drop normal cash or nothing at all?

so at this point in the event with the way minions are dropping blam is it even worth spending clams on getting Brian Cranston unless you really like him? It seems as though pesticides and the giant stewie streak have been rendered somewhat unimportant

I still think the best way to earn Blam! is via Giant Stewie. I’m still running a streak daily…i run the clock out and go from 0-max and then let it run out again…it’s a great daily dose of blam! For me, right now, Bryan’s the only one earning pesticides for me..so he’s still well worth it, at least IMO

Hi Alissa! I got 940 clams from TinyCo for my PBJ Brian costume getting glitched and re-starting. You think I should spend the 500 to get Cranston or actually spend the clams to re-create the costume i lost?

If you have the patience to get everything you need again…then yes I’d spend them on something else. (I love Cranston) BUT remember…a lot of rare and extra rare with PB&J Brian (and how long did it take you to get the first time?) so it won’t be a quick process.

Personally I’d get BC. You can take time and redo PB&J after the event, but if you like BC it’s really great hearing his comments and seeing his BB like tasks.

This one is almost too easy. I’ve bombed roughly 60 Stewies right now and have gotten 2 classic books and 2 cameras from those alone. I assume Quagmire’s costume will be out shortly and Joe’s probably not long afterward.
There will be a considerable amount of time left in the event and freemium players should easily be able to collect the 4 cocooned characters and get all 5 cars and the prize. Anyone that’s spent some real clams should hit Takei with plenty of room to spare.
Makes me wonder if they’ll take the last week or so to drop a secret surprise on us or maybe offer a prize box for Blam! with another 1% drop in it.

Alright y’all looking for some input got myself a pretty good problem to have and dont know what to do. So I got jipped by the Al Harrington outfit glitch, lost all the ingredients for PB&J Brian and as a result after conversing a little bit with Tiny Co, their resolution was to credit my account the number of clams I needed to recreate the costume. So now I have 940 clams that I’m supposed to rebuild PB and J Brian with, but I’m not necessarily sold on that idea. I was thinking of using half the clams to get myself Brian Cranston for the pesticides, but with the Minion Stewies dropping tons of blam at a much faster pace, it seems that the importance of pesticides and the Giant Stewie streak has been greatly diminished by the latest update. So basically open to ideas of how you guys think clams are best spent at this point in the event. Thanks!

So far the event has been great. So far all the events have seemed to be timely and value adding. I have bought a few items with free clams and finally broke down and bought the clams to get Bryan Cranston, only after they offered 4000 blam. Great investment in a character. Also thanks familyguyaddicts team. I wouldn’t know about many different things going on if it wasn’t for the site.

I really like what TinyCo has done with this event. They have given users multiple different ways to play. For myself, the minion Stewies require too much micro-management (definitely not my style) so I will be concentrating on the Giant Stewie methodology since it works best for me. Kudos on this aspect of the game TinyCo!

The best way I found for killing as many mutant Stewie’s as possible is to realize that they spawn right when you open the game, and only on paved roads. Therefore, the best way to take advantage of this fact is to get rid of all of your paved roads and only leave one square of pavement. Then, kill as many stewies as you can, and leave at least one bomb in your inventory. Then, exit the game, and wait a few hours. Then, when you open up the game, prepare as soon as you can and target that one piece of pavement. As soon as the Stewie’s spawn, Blast them away!!!

I had a 12 shot but iv over bombed and only got 5 left in my town. Iv bombed 260 in total. So far today iv earned 11,000 blam in 9 hours. My toyal is 50,000 and im a freeandroid player

Absolutly love this update!!! Each mutant stewie killed gives you like 15 blam and im normally hitting atleast 4-5 at a time, blue shirt ners drop.bombs pretty often it seems every time.3 blue nerds spawn im getting atleast 1 bomb!! Blamathon!!!! Little bit.of a tech issue towards tge edge of the map like at the bottom right I had a load of mutant stewies.running around but the screen cant scroll. That far down when in bomb mode… Here is a massive tip before going in to bomb mode tap those.mutant stewies they stop in their tracks giving you time.for.more.to get in to the blast radius I did this and managed to hit nearky 10 stewies its.difficult but normally gives the chance to.hit.more than 3 stewies

They also move in the opposite direction after being tapped (haven’t seen otherwise yet), so you can corral them if you’re fast…or really good at playing Simon…

I’m a freemium player and have received one movie camera one classic books and amazingly one notebook all from minion Stewie. Has anyone else received a notebook from minion Stewie? Being the freemium player I don’t have Stanley’s trailer. And Lois is on a different task right now. Thought it would take a while to get the notebook but if the minions are giving it is well we should be able to get Stan easily.

My game is glitching. My furry funhouse has Quagmire in it and he finished but instead of stewie covering a coin. It just shows the exclamation point. I try zapping it but no laser comes out of the gun and the game freezes on me. I emailed tinyco so I hope they finish this quickly. Have you heard of this happening?

Also love how the rare item for Stan only has one way of getting it for a freemium player and my Lois hasn’t dropped one yet but thanks to the minions I only need one book and 2 movie cameras yet when they are extra rare drops need more ways to get notebooks or this is gonna take a little while… lol

I dont have any more complaints; this event is far superior to the last and better than most tsto events! Lots to do now, lots of prizes. And ive already bombed 85 stewies and won 6 sundaes and two cameras! One more sundae and i have blobulous. Ive decided to keep the celebrities on pesticide earning tasks and sending characters on quests, since i get enough bombs from nerds. Ive earned over 10k blam in the past few days (without spending clams, thank you) so i should be able to get 100k in three weeks. I am surprised they didnt release the multiplier or nathan fillion yet, but there is still time. That tip for freezing the minions has helped a lot!

They need to tweak the bomb targeting a bit. Launched one right into a crowd of 5 stewies, the cloud covered them all, and when it was over they all just kept on going and I got 0. Other than the few times that’s happened, I really dig this new aspect of the event. And they’re not skimping on the bombs either, which is great!

So Enfant Terrible was completed to Part 6 (defeated Giant Stewie 3 times) and you got the pop up for the completion?
If so, try Force Closing the app and restarting your device. Also, make sure Peter is free so he can trigger the dialog. See if that helps and let us know.

Also someone has to tell tiny co that we need a way to free the characters should we decide to stop their current task and start a new task due to a quest starting up. Kind of like storing the character / building they are associated to. Just like in TSTO. There is nothing more annoying then putting a character on a 12 hour task so that the next quest line requires him and you have to wait 12 hours or spend a ridiculous amount of clams to free him. PLEASE tiny co put an option like this. If we stop their task before it ends they are free but we don’t earn the rewards ( obviously ).
This is coming from the fact that I put quag on His 12 hr task to earn sundaes for blobulous. However a few minutes later I got a new questlne to send quag to do 2 other tasks for a new quest. I would rather quag quit the sundae task and start his quest. I AM NOT using clans to stop his 12 hr task.

Ugh used my first 3 bombs on 2 minions per bomb! Rookie error! Now I’ve figured out you can freeze them for a few seconds I’m cornering them near the beach muahaha! Also, just got a book, a notepad, and the last sundae for blobulous in one bomb raid! 😀 😀

Anyone have tips on how to get a decent amount of Minion Stewies in one bomb? The most I’ve had was 10, and unfortunately it didn’t save because that’s when the first error message about the servers popped up. Since then I’m getting 2-3 each time; the most was 7. I can’t seem to find any pattern for when to drop the bomb. I drop it right on a group of 8 at an intersection, but I only get credit for 2 because they wander away before the dust settles. Is there any indication on the range of the pesticide cloud or how, exactly, it works other than “Drop a pesticide bomb on Minion Stewie!”?

Also, there’s really no need to buy Stan Lee’s Trailer, the book store, the film museum, or the bomb stand. Blue shirts seems to be dropping a bomb every three or four shirts, so really you can still collect pesticides with your costumed FG. The Minion Stewies drop stuff you need for Stan Lee. I’ve had him saved from the cocoon for about 3 hours and I already have 11 of the 40 items required just from Minion Stewies.

It’s good how the out house of loneliness helps to get items for stan lee and have the trailers gone down in price or is it just me because if they have then this makes getting them a little easier when I stock up on the 24th

Am I the only one getting annoyed by the amount of extra rare items needed to unlock the characters and costumes in this event? Also the tasks are quite long and they always demand the same characters. Meanwhile I have Cleveland, Meg and a bunch of others doing meaningless 24h actions just for the sake of doing something.

I did the lastest update for the comic con and have no stan lee or any minion stewies. The update hasn’t seemed to of worked on my iPhone 5. My partner updated his game on his iPad mini and he’s had no trouble. Please help as I’m unsure what to do. I’ve turned off my phone and uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but still no stan lee or minions.
