(People were sending Blobulous 2hr instead of Chris 4hr.) Then it will return. Also, Stan Lee Trailer not dropping will has a fix on its way.

Phase 4 of Comic Con is upon us! Another celebrity has hit our towns and Stewie has changed yet again! App Store Update has hit!
More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual…Peter kicks things off for phase 4! (note you have to have completed the Enfant Terrible Part 6 questline for phase 4 to start for you)
Warning Mild Spoilers Ahead
First let’s cover the new stuff….
When you first start the update you’ll go through the tutorial for bombing Stewie’s minions…THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And can only be stopped by Bombs. Peter kicks off this part in the questline called Bombs Away. Here’s the basic details (As always we’ll have a FULL rundown post of the details in the Stewie Bombs soon):
Once you go through the tutorial you’ll have to reload to enable the full bomb feature in Quahog.
You’ll have to hard close out of your game and go back in to trigger it to reload.
Various tasks will earn more bombs…or (of course) you can spend clams on them and buy more:

Bombardier quest to kill 10 minions is the most annoying so far. Frantically taping the screen to keep 10 in one spot is no fun at all. Even not getting some costumes, Butt King or Rupert in time was not so upseting like this horible quest. TinyCo plase don’t make FG:TQFS another Flappy bird. I don’t like to play a game where mad tapping the screen is how you progress the game.

Seriously, I hate the tapping too.
Instead, open an area of land, remove all roads except one square in the middle of this open area, then build a spiral of fences or hedges. If you close them in they just run through, but if you leave an opening they will head toward the opening. As soon as they spawn, drop a bomb right in the middle. I get 15 every time. Just make sure you have a bomb before you leave for an hour, no time to collect bombs when you come back in, they will spawn too quickly and head for the exit.

Since the first error happened in the game, I never got giant stewie, Felicia day, minions stewie, Stan lee.
Update didn’t work, uninstall and reinstall didn’t change anything. I don’t know if there is anything would fix this issue. I’m very frustrated.

How far did you complete the “Creature from the Goo Lagoon” quest. It needs to be done in order for the next phase to open. Is Patrick Stewart unlocked?

I have patrick stewart and Ron Perlman already. When I finished “learn how to learn giant stewie”, the giant stewie never appeared. and didn’t have Felicia Day on a pole. In the task menu, I have nothing.

Wouldn’t let me reply too your guys comments directly for some reason but iv tried everything you guys say i have over 2gb,re-download the game, wrote tinyco days ago no response, and my wifi signal is good idk what else to try i have 20 bombs and lets me zoom in on the town still no stus and when i click on the destroy 300 minions it says sorry come back later there are no minion stuies in your town

Please help! The update is not showing up on my phone and I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again. Nothing is working and I’ve been waiting this whole event to get Stan Lee.

Can you tell me where you are in your game progression as far as questlines go?
Did you Build the Fab 4 Building? Have you completed Giant Stewie’s questline to the point of vanquishing him a final 3 times? (Enfant Terrible Part 6)?

Ok, so it looks like you are not quite done with the previous phase then. Once you defeat him and check that part off, you will get the pop up that Part 6 is done. Shortly after that the new phase will begin.

Not sure if anyone posted this trick… To bomb multi minions I wait at a 4 way intersection and once a minion is in the intersection I tap it (this makes it stop and blab something at me) … Keep tapping them as they enter the intersection and once I have a bunch and see others traveling toward the intersection I quickly unload a bomb on thier fruit loop dingus butts!
I have bombed 14 at once once or twice but usually 10ish 🙂

My strategy:
Just keep tapping on them like a woodpecker to make em stop in place..
until you have a big bunch ‘cornered’ in the middle of your screen.
then.. have a blast ..
My current record 14 minions with 1 bomb
and the game told me: ‘you have beautiful eyes ‘ 🙂

Quick question. So when I started Stan Lee, it showed up that red shirts dropped notebooks. Went to bed and when I woke up, the notebooks said that only the trailer and Lois 6hr task could get them. Then late last night, red shirts could drop them again. Woke up today, back to just Lois and Trailer. Really weird, and curious as is if this only works late at night, or is it something to report to Tiny Co?

With ANY materials, the drops still mirror the items rates. So Common, Rare, Extra Rare, etc. So you will notice variables from the Nerds too depending on those rates and the amount of OTHER items they are dropping too.

It only says that you can get Notebooks from Red Shirt nerds while you have them in your town, when you’ve zapped them all it will disappear from the list again until the next time they spawn.

What I’ve noticed is that it only lists red shirt nerds as a way to get notebooks when the nerds are actually IN your town. Otherwise they don’t show up in the list of possible ways to earn notebooks, even though they do. 😉

Strange. The Bombardier training asked for 10 in one shot and I got 12 – didnt register. I needed to get excactly 10 before the task was done. On the training tasks to get 6 and 8 it registerd if I was above the required number…

Ever since the most recent update, all my game does is crash! Losing valuable time on the Comicon event!

This new part of the event requires a LOT more memory with all the activity going on. My suggestion is to ensure your device can handle it. Give the app the “wiggle room” it needs. Close all other apps that may be running in the background. Make sure you are running off of a good strong signal. WiFi usually has a lot better support with games than a cell network. Make sure the app has about double the available space of memory than what it requires. (So if it says it runs off 1GB, allow it 2GB of free space.
Try a few of these things and see if they help. Next steps are some basic troublshooting.

Im having the same problem: minions dropping coins instead of blam or items. Im also not getting pesticides from buildings anymore and no one is dropping batteries. Everything seems to have just slowed down this morning.

I have figured out how to corral and kill those minion buggers. Only catch is you have to have about 50,000 in coin. I’m getting 14 on a regular basis.
If I knew how to upload a pic I so would…but here is the setup. PS (I’d glady email the pic to one of the moderators here.)
Most of your town is clear, put buildings on the perimeter,
Place a double wall fence that splits your town in two but block it at one end. This will force all characters, even minions, to eventually go towards the other end. At the other end, the only way in and out is a zig zag of double fences. You are basically forcing these guys through a maze, but once they get into the middle zig zag part, you tap them and they will start to collect up fast. Have your bomb sight already pre-positioned to this area and when you’re ready; let it fly.
14 killed on the first test, 11 on the second which was immediately after the first kill. I’m confident that this setup is tip top. Nice part is that the fence is low to the ground and see through; unlike funneling them through buildings.

If you’ve completed Part 6 of the Enfant Terrible questline and if you have an account created…try this: Hard close the game, clear your cache, uninstall, restart your phone, then reinstall it back. If they still don’t spawn your next step is to contact TinyCo.

Is Stan Lee’s trailer fixed yet? I want to buy it because it looks awesome but I really need the notebooks. It’s the only item I need to unlock Stan. Notebooks aren’t dropping from the red nerds for me anymore. I can unlock Stan right now for 110 clams or buy the trailer for 100 clams and wait for tinyco to fix it. Decisions decisions.

Loving the minions. I was about three days behind on the iOS calendar as of yesterday afternoon (before the update). Now I am about three days ahead and 20+ clams richer.

How do I get the tutorial to start again? When I click through task bar for the bombing quest it takes me to the bombsight….

There should be a little red i button in the bottom left corner of the bomb sight screen.

I have tried that and it just shows the three panels of information about the bombing. Nothing changes after I am on that screen. When I get back to bomb sight, it does not even allow me to close the sight.

Are you able to launch any bombs? Like can you tap on Bombs Away?
Most the info is in the icons in the lower right corner. Like if you tap on the Comic Con one…it will take you to the main event info and you can look through each tab section to find more info about the event.
What is it exactly that you are trying to find or do?

So I have completed the enfAnt terrible quest. I went through bomb tutorial and got clams for doing so. However, I did not get a screen directing me to reload game – although I have done multiple times since.
I have no minion stewies! When I click in the bombsight it stays in one and the game freezes. I have to reset to continue play. I currently have 32 bombs but no minion stewies to bomb.
Anyone else have this issue? I really want to complete my set with re multipliers bike!!!
I have sent in game messages to tiny co, but who knows what that does…

Now there is a NEW Bomb Tutorial for the Bombadier. Make sure the one you do is for “Bombs Away”…THAT is the Minion one.

Drop a bomb at the screen- I think you just need to drop one for it to move on. Mine was frozen like that without minions for a while until I finally dropped a bomb.

Same thing happened to me. I got thee minions right after the update. Did not get the reload screen, tapped them and they turned to blam. It went to part 2, and no minions. I’ve done everything, just uninstalled and reinstalled again. This really sucks.

So since I didn’t get to drop a bomb the first time that’s what glitched my game? I have no way to drop a bomb now. When I go to the targeting screen it just says error trying to start tutorial with no bombable squatters and then restarts.

Try clearing your cache and restarting the game….see if that helps to trigger it. If not, the next step is to contact TinyCo on it

Thanks Alissa, Yeah I’ve tried about everything. I even tried reasoning with my game in my quiet voice. No dice. I was able to send a report in game though. At least the uninstalls seem to have fixed my keyboard not popping up. I’m ahead on blam thanks to BC, and tips here on giant Stewie. I wasn’t going to buy him until I saw how many pesticides he dropped. My girlfriend plays CoC and has spent a little on it so I didn’t even get in trouble. I should get the factory sometime in the next few days , maybe that will make something happen. If not I’m sure they’ll fix it soon, I’ve seen a few players with similar glitches after looking for hours to see if anyone had figured this out, but it’s not a really widespread problem. I only tapped them because it said you couldn’t and I wanted to see what they would do. Then I thought, I didn’t use a rocket? Is this a glitch? Cool I won’t have to gather rockets….. Heheh. If only I had stopped at one. I’ll be disappointed if I don’t get the car but at least Stan Lee appeared so it’s not all bad. Plus with my leftover clams and the ones I earned and the 55 free clams I got Consuela and going through her tasks now. I only have a few friends on facebook who play this game, (I know I thought everyone did too), and only two of them that I see on a regular basis and they are tired of hearing me complain about it. 😀 Thanks again to all of you for helping me as much as possible. And for researching and giving us all an idea of what we should be doing in the game. I’d be lost a lot without this site. By the way, the other sites I found weren’t nearly as friendly as this one. You all try to answer or at least comment on every question most of the others don’t.

An update to my trick for catching multiple minions, if you build a double fence and at least one opening be will always spawn at the ComicCon and head straight for the exit . Always keep one bomb when you exit the game and upon launch immediate launch your scope. I’m now averaging 9-10 per shot every time . I’ll take a screen cap and email it to bunny so people can see how I did this

I’m loving these minions. Got about 10k blam in a single day. Also got the necessary items for unlocking my Blobulous outfit. Deliberately waited with tapping the ‘finished’ sign on my flag pole until I got all the items I needed (tip for others out there… otherwise there’s so many other items that can drop. I got like 7 sundaes in a single day with the minions).
The new box also looks promising with great prizes. but I doubt I’ll be purchasing it.

I know it’s massively frustrating! It just depends on if they’re running away when you drop it. Usually if they’re running away they don’t die, but if they’re running into it they will die.

Love this update. I was about a day ahead of the calendar when the update started. Now with bombing Stewie minions and a few lucky runs with Giant Stewie, I’m a week ahead (60k Blam!). And the minions dropped almost everything I needed to unlock Stan Lee! Now, If you’ll excuse me, I just received a couple of bombs. 😀
PS. Anyone even care about playing TSTO right now? I don’t.

For the time being, Stan Lee seems rather obtainable. Minion Stewies are so great in number, making the “extra rare” drops unimposing. The question is whether or not the Rare Notebooks are going to be difficult to farm up.

281 minions. All but 1 movie camera, and I’m sitting at 98,000 Blam! Gotta go to work but in 8 hours when I’m off, I can possible claim the bike, Stan, AND Takei!!
Doing the giant Stewie up to 25 then letting it reset helps (you can get 5200/day like that), and the minion tapping to freeze them helps build up that count. And with Stan I just got so lucky that every drop (yes, I sped them up because I really really wanted Stan like ASAP now!) netted an item. I also bought all his buildings. So that helped.
Also, just a fun giggity thing — did ya happen to notice the shape of the Multiplier’s trike? It’s like, duh! it’s Quagmire! Of course it’d be shaped like a –(ahem)– trike. 😉
