Hello There Clammers!
Another Friday night update is upon us! And just like many of us predicted….we now have a Stewie Box! For 180 Clams you can get unique prizes, Clams, Batteries & Bombs from the Stewie Box!
More details on the way my friends…
Bologna building- We’re investigating what it’s for at the moment. My guess is it’s a mistake and wasn’t supposed to be released just yet. It’s a texture glitch and supposed to be ham for Blobulous. TC is working on fixing it at the moment.
As far as the bombing training…yes you can earn free clam(!) for bombing Minion Stewies in groups….Peter starts this questline.
There is a new building in the game for dropping Ham for Blobulous. For 100 Clams you can get the Guts and Glory Butcher Shop and it will always drop Ham. 
Next up Stewie Mystery Box!
For 180 Clams you can purchase the new Robo Stewie Mystery Box..
This box runs much like the Robo Brian box..in that all the decorations and buildings are unique…no duplicates can be won in the box! Here’s what’s inside:
We were also given a new questline to attack minion Stewies…Bombardier Training.
This awards clams for completing various bombing tasks for clearing Stewies!
The training is 6 parts and each part awards clams. Basically you have to bomb groups of Minion Stewies that Peter is requesting. A the end you’ll win a Bomber Peter Gold Trophy! Here’s the break down:
Part 1- 2 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 2 clams
Part 2- 3 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 3 Clams
Part 3- 4 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 4 Clams
Part 4- 6 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 6 Clams
Part 5- 8 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 8 Clams
Part 6- 10 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 10 Clams AND Trophy
To claim your Trophy it’ll go into your inventory. Here’s how it’ll appear…
When the challenge is completed this will pop up:
The Trophy will appear in your inventory, so to get to it tap in the 4 way arrows (next to the menu) and scroll through your inventory until you see it:
Then you can just tap on it and place it in your town 🙂

It says I’ve checked out the Blaze car, but I can’t find it to place in my Quahog. I also have to get 16 more green pesticides, but only have Peter to do this. I have 22 hours – any tips?

If you’ve won it, it will be in your Inventory (4 way arrows). Best thing to do to earn them is send as many characters as you can on the task to earn them every 2 hrs.

Does anybody else still get latcher stewie? I have only had minions and giant stewie since I finished enfant terrible pt 6 or whatever those quests were called.. Ever since my minions stewies started I have lost my latchers which I didn’t think I’d mind but I’d like to atleast use my batteries I have built up??

So has anyone else managed to beat the Bombardier Training quest?
I just finished it off and wanted to share a tip… For those who already spent the coin to but more fences than you need. Arange the fence like so
The minions will tend to hug the fence (not saying they will not walk right over it). So making a path that is 1 tile wide will help acumilate them.
Here is the grand prize after killing 10 with one shot. (In addition to the 10 clams) (I killed 12 in one shot)

TinyCo support are not responding. ice tried to claim red hot costume twice and both times games cut out. But now it’s saying I’ve claimed it but it is not appearing in Als. has this happened to anyone else?

Finally getting Felicia Day either in an hour or tomorrow, 4 discs away from getting Ron Perlman (I simply refuse to believe the vinyl discs are just “Rare”, Quagmire dropped ONE in 3 days while I got around 6 20sided dice in that time). Still 9 sundaes away from Blobulous, but I still have 20 days for it. And I shot myself in the foot setting my only worker to build land for 1 day and 8 hours just before unlocking the Stan Lee flag pole. Oh well. Things are looking pretty good.

I unlocked Felicia already, still need 4 records for Ron, Quagmire only drops 2 a week, the rest came from nerds before TinyCo stopped that happening. There’s no way that drop is just rare, if you click the house when Quagmire’s in there it says “chance”.

“Chance” is the default on all houses. It is when you look at the actual characters tasks is when you will see the actual items “Chance” displayed. Uncommon, Rare, ect.

Unlocked Felicia last night. Still missing 4 records for Ron, Quagmire just isn’t dropping them. Much like you, I got most from Red Shirts before they stopped, and I can’t see how it’s just “arare”. Just today I got 5 sundaes from Minion Stewies and those are extra rare, and Quagmire STILL hasn’t dropped records. I still have 20 days, so I’ll wait, but still.

What exactly does the “nothing suspicious here factory” do in terms of minions cause I don’t see any coming from it. The same with the second Q. Do we get more or are the spawning rates increased. Cause from my perspective they do nothing.

It does spawn more, however we’re waiting for confirmation from TC as to how much more. As soon as we have it we’ll share it 🙂

Man I keep tapping but as soon as I bomb them they all scatter. I’ll get 10 or more in one spot but when I go to blast they start moving and I end up with 6 or 7. Some walk right out of the gas. Damn it! Also I noticed a glitch were in the shop it shows Chris’s super hero costume locked but I already have it.

Damn tapping on stewies in iOS devices is hair pulling with the damn bug they cba to fix, every third tap the damn game view flys to the edge of the screen and by the time you get back they have all left….

I’ve found no matter what kind of complex arrangement I try to come up with the buggers always seem to sneak through. So I’ve just put everything but essential buildings in storage and turned the whole town into a big wide open bombing zone. Then I wait for them to build up. Got 14 to win the trophy. It’s crazy fun tho.

I was able to get 14 in one hit. I have a intersection of roads. Center it in the screen and just start tapping. They pile up quick.

Tapping minions changes their direction. You can use this to herd them all in the same direction. Then bomb just in front of the pack.

Pic your spot. Find a 4 way intersection where they tend to walk by. Sret your bomb site ahead of time a little lower than your target area as it tends to drift upwards. Then spend some time tap freezing them as close to the center of your predetermined target as possible. It may take a couple of minutes, but you can get up to 15 at once…just depends on how rich your overall quantity of minions is in town at the time…it’s easy to get 6 or 7 when there minions aren’t maxed, but if you’re having trouble getting to 10, let some more minions spawn before attempting. And remember tap fast or they will start getting away. If they get out of range still tap them, let them start moving, if they are moving the wrong direction tap them again, eventually they will move back towards the center of your target area. When you have about 12-15 in the area bomb as quickly as possible, don’t re-aim, just fire. You can do it…Don’t waste your time rearranging your town.

I got the canned “we got your comment” on 8/15 at 4am when I used in game communication to ask for kindle updates and am wondering if I should leave a comment on the apps facebook page (I’m used to apps taking time to update but not during events) (what version are non kindle people on because we’re stil on 1.1.2)

I clicked through it too quickly to see what it was, but I swear I got a pop up that said I won something that was in my inventory, but I don’t see anything new. This was before I unlocked the Multiplier’s bike, and the prize shown was red and looked like it could have been a vehicle (so could have been a glitch since I already had the nailgunner and hasn’t gotten the bike).
Anyway, anyone else experience this? Or am I just going mad with minion Stewie fever? 🙂

I think I finished the bombardier training quest, with the last one being “bomb 10 minions with 1 bomb” and the payoff was clams, xp and I also noticed a little gold “trophy” that looked like Peter riding a bomb! Has anyone seen this? I didn’t act quick enough to take a screen shot and don’t know what it was. The only thing I could think of was that it signaled the end of that quest line. Thoughts?

Are you sure he’s not in a building? Check the Spa, Thing A Ma Gadgets, the Griffin House, Quagmire’s house..if he’s not there then send in a ticket to TinyCo on it. They’ll have to see what happened:

I think they made some updates to the minions from earlier in the day. They used to give only Blam, Clams, and Stan Lee items. Now they also give coins and it seems the rate at which they give Stan Lee items has dramatically decreased. Since this morning, I got all 10 red books and 12 of 15 movie cameras, all from minions, including one shot that killed 8 minions and yielded 2 movie cameras. Since the Stewie box went live, I’ve killed a lot of minions and earned the Bombardier trophy, but haven’t earned a single movie camera.

That’s what I’m seeing. Since it didn’t start happening until the Friday update, I’m going to guess TinyCo changed the payouts because they felt they had made it too easy for folks to accumulate blam! with the minions. It’s disappointing since blam! “is the only currency accepted during Comic-Con”. Oh well, it is what it is.

I suppose it was foolish to hope the Stewie bot would be a blam gambling option like they had in King Butt…over $7 to gamble…way too much and nothing as cool as the Clamterprise, some decent stuff but the only things worth $7 are the clam prizes…wish they would have introduced more buildings/decos to buy for blam since I already invested all my $$$ in things that would lead to blam…there just isn’t enough stuff to spend my blam on now. So…Stewie bot=Total waste of an update…However…Bombardier training…awesome.

In TSTO events, after you get the last prize, you typically can earn donuts for continuing to earn the event “currency”. Would be cool if for here, after 100,000 points, they gave you clams or something for each 15k or so points you got. These updates have helped people get points much more quickly than anticipated. I know when I started this event. I thought I would be lucky to get 85k points by the last day of the event. I just got to 85k this morning, with a good amount of time left in the event (and I know others on here got past 100k ages ago…)

Telling y’all, buy some chain link and make a maze..with a big square in the middle with few openings..if it’s placed just right it makes it easier to trap them and tap to keep them cornered..they will walk thru the fence at some spots but play around moving your fenceline to stop that and you basically have a fish trap.. just nailed ten for the trophy woot!

OMG! This probably could go in the WTH thread. I was tapping Stewies trying to get more than 10 for the final task (needing more than necessary since they seem to escape the death cloud)…
When I went to drop the bomb I discovered that the bomb doesn’t work in the top corner… Ugh, all that work to collect Stewies and then the scope doesn’t cover that section of the game… And I had to watch them all scamper away.

i have this issue on bluestacks as well but when i opened the game on an ipod touch 4th gen, the issue is not there. too bad the ipod can’t handle the game and crashes almost everytime i try to do anything but sit there.

Loving this new update!! I just used 10,000 blam for Felicia Day last night and after zapping all the minion stewies and the giant Stewie I’m up to 7,000 blam. In just one day!! At this rate and with so much time left I should reach 100,000 blam! I also have 173 clams and I’m not sure what I want to purchase!

I’m really enjoying the event but while speed tapping my nerds I accidentally upgraded my mexican workforce for 125 clams. I have messaged the help department so hopefully they can help me I just hope I’m not out $5 worth of clams because of poor placement of my work shack and fast fingers. I was saving those towards Nathan Fillion.

Also, you can get ‘coins’ from bombing Stewies. I am guessing it is the replacement if it was going to drop one of collection items but you no longer need it. For example, I no longer need sundaes and now I seem to get coins from bombing Stewie.

If only the game was actually playable. Definitely not a game for smartphones. Needs much more processing power and RAM for it to run correctly. Oh well, off to better games.

Tip for getting multiple minions at once – tap on minions to stop them for a few seconds. Just keep tapping until you collect all you need in one location. Then bomb. Get your six and eight clams first try

What’s the trophy? Is it an item that shoild be in my inventory or a item to collect to unlock something?

What’s the point of contributing to this community if comments sit under review for hours? Is this the best system you can think of?

Yes…it prevents spam comments from getting through as well as vicious and attacking comments. It also allows us the chance to answer questions that pop up, instead of having everything push through and possibly missing comments. However, while we’re usually on top of the comments…we are real people with real lives and sometimes those real lives call us away from moderating comments.
Also, your photos you sent it…very much appreciated. We’ve just been working through the update ourselves to ensure that we see everything readers see. We get to ALL comments…sometimes it’s just not instantly 🙂
