Another Friday night update is upon us! And just like many of us predicted….we now have a Stewie Box! For 180 Clams you can get unique prizes, Clams, Batteries & Bombs from the Stewie Box!
More details on the way my friends…
Bologna building- We’re investigating what it’s for at the moment. My guess is it’s a mistake and wasn’t supposed to be released just yet. It’s a texture glitch and supposed to be ham for Blobulous. TC is working on fixing it at the moment.
As far as the bombing training…yes you can earn free clam(!) for bombing Minion Stewies in groups….Peter starts this questline.
There is a new building in the game for dropping Ham for Blobulous. For 100 Clams you can get the Guts and Glory Butcher Shop and it will always drop Ham.

For 180 Clams you can purchase the new Robo Stewie Mystery Box..
This box runs much like the Robo Brian box..in that all the decorations and buildings are unique…no duplicates can be won in the box! Here’s what’s inside:
We were also given a new questline to attack minion Stewies…Bombardier Training.
This awards clams for completing various bombing tasks for clearing Stewies!
The training is 6 parts and each part awards clams. Basically you have to bomb groups of Minion Stewies that Peter is requesting. A the end you’ll win a Bomber Peter Gold Trophy! Here’s the break down:
Part 1- 2 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 2 clams
Part 2- 3 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 3 Clams
Part 3- 4 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 4 Clams
Part 4- 6 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 6 Clams
Part 5- 8 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 8 Clams
Part 6- 10 Minion Stewies with 1 Bomb Drop
Rewards 10 Clams AND Trophy
To claim your Trophy it’ll go into your inventory. Here’s how it’ll appear…
When the challenge is completed this will pop up:
The Trophy will appear in your inventory, so to get to it tap in the 4 way arrows (next to the menu) and scroll through your inventory until you see it:
Then you can just tap on it and place it in your town 🙂

How am I able to bomb stewies? I haven’t had any mission or anything new to let me be able to play this bombing madness. I did the update last night and so did my boyfriend and he showed me that he can now bomb stewie minions. I want to play and bomb them too!! Do I have to compete a certain mission or what? Please help!!! 😦

You can tap the minions and they will freeze in place for a couple of seconds. Find a small cluster of 2 or 3 in an area . Keep tapping them until more wander into the area and then tap the as well. Keep it up until you have your ten. I got my count up to 13 this way. just keep trying this to rack up the blam and the unlock prizes for Stan Lee, since they drop his items too. now up to almost 84K Blam! should have the factory right after my giant Stewie countdown gets to zero(got lots of pesticides stock piled for him)

I try this but no matter how much I tap, once the group reaches a certain size then some guys just ignore me and run away before I can get 10. Very frustrating.

Remember these are here to stay. If anything…let them pile up. In other words…stop bombing for a while and let them build up to your max. More in your town…more chance to get them. Some have even gone so far as remove all roads but one section as that is where they spawn. Then…leave the game after clearing them all or almost all and stay away for a few hours. When you return…all the built up ones should spawn at once by that road. So you immediately bomb that spot when you return to clear a bunch at a time.
It has worked for some that way too.

I already removed all roads but for one very crowded section full of characters, nerds and bulls. I didn’t notice that was where the Stewies were spawning from though. I’ll try that out – thanks!

Really need help getting 10 minions at once. I understand people have been making mazes and farms and setting things up in lines etc but I feel my own attempts have been a spectacular failure. If anybody could please post a screenshot of a setup that works I feel that would help me so much more, I’d probably figure what I was doing wrong.

I got 16 little stinkers (sorry – inkers) wit one hit. Thanks to the Bunny’s advice!
I tried to round them up with buildings and fences – they just pass without any problems – trick did not work.
1. Pick the intersection without any big buildings or characters near by.
2. Important – make sure this intersection is right in the middle of the screen – in this case target goes exactly in the middle when you push the missile icon, saving little bit of time.
3. Now Bunny’s advise – as soon as creature enters the intersection tap on him. He will squirt ink, display the message and stay in the same spot. Hold as many as possible (you will have to tap like crazy). Once you reach at least 10 – wait for a few more coming to the same intersection. If you hold just 10 – big chance that couple of them will manage to escape. Once you see more of them coming – push the missile and bomb them right away – they usually keeps moving the same direction, in this case – straight in to the trap. Have fun!

I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned before here, but once I completed Quagmire’s Comic Con tasks for this week I got a notice saying new adventures will be unlocked on friday.

Had trouble until I saw they spawned on streets only. Dumped all my streets but a tiny little 2×2. As with the nerds, when you log in the game takes like 10s or so to populate them into the game so aim your crosshair over the section of street, wait a few seconds then drop the bomb even if there’s none up yet. They’ll spawn into the fog and die. I just got 15 easily this way. With District 8 open you can have a max of 40 minions and they spawn every 10m so just walk away from the game for 4-6 hours to max the potential spawns and boom.

For any one that needs to get 10 or more just zoom in and tap on the minion stewie a. They stay still for about 5 seconds after tapping them and you can easily get them to be grouped together. 10 is around the lowest you’ll get if you do this but it does take several minutes to set up

Minions walk through fences and bushes so don’t waste the time. I killed 13 at once for the highest and what you do is find a group and tap on them. lil Stewie will stop in his tracks and shoot ink at you. Keep doing that until you trap a bunch (ie wait for other minions to walk into the group and tap it. Must tap all so they don’t move. Hope that makes sense.)

It depends. They CAN walk through them. I still prefer my buildings to corral them.

I’ve yet to have then walk through my fence. When I put the fence up, I did one row one way and then put up a second row with the fence rotated (perpendicular). So it ends up looking like a cage. They love walking along it right into an S curve maze where I’m waiting for them.

My record bombing minions is 14 up to now, but bomb collection has slowed so bomber command is closed for a few hours. This event is wild and I’m actually dreading it ending. How do TinyCo better this…. Oh and looks like flying Stewies next…. I’d also like to say Bunny was spot on at the start of this event when she told us all over and over not to fear the 100,000 and to KEEP CALM AND KEEP COLLECTING. The increase in blam over the event has been just as she promised. Theres so much dropping now i think we need a blam leader board 😱😱😱

Yea i reached 100k earlier today and unlocked Georgie. I did get BC and a blam truck but BC was the thing that got me so far and then with the minions i went from about 75k to 100k in 2 days not speeding anything up or purchasing.
Im glad i got George with 3 weeks to spare but now no big goal left. There are the last few characters but currently at 40k blam in the bank with nothing to buy. So unless they real ease a bunch of new items will end up with a bunch of unused energy drinks. I am hoping they do what they did with King Butt. Im still gonna work to get all the Blam i can just in case.

does anyone have any suggestions on how to kill the most minions at once? I’m stuck on Part 5 and I can’t seem to get more than 7 at once I’m just wondering what people are doing to get 8 at once and 10 at once because I really like that trophy haha thanks for the help

I am seeing a lot try a “maze” like setup to force them to a center point. Some even using fences to make them.

I’ve gotten 10 at once (sadly, just before this task appeared) and I just watch one particular intersection where they seem to end up often. Usually, I get 7-8.

I’ve noticed when you tap on the minions they seem to change direction. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence or not….but my record is 13 minions at once.

This is what I did, if it helps at all. Wait until you have the max running around, mine was around 40 or so. I then picked a section to shoot at. I lined up my bomb launcher then exited out of it.
I then waited until 7 ended up in the area I was going to shoot at. I kept clicking on them to make them pause and squirt ink. About 40 seconds later here came 6 more, kept doing it, just click, click, click and then hit the launcher, it came up and I sent the bomb and then boom went the dynamite and nailed 13 in one shot. I thought it would be extremely difficulty but it wasn’t.

To bomb multi minions I wait at a 4 way intersection and once a minion is in the intersection tap it (this makes it stop and blab something) Keep tapping them as they enter the intersection and once You have a bunch and see others traveling toward the intersection quickly unload a bomb on thier fruit loop dingus butts!
I have bombed 14 at once once or twice but 10ish usually 🙂

Got my Bombardier trophy, working on bombs Away Pt. 7, have The Tri-cycle, and with a 72973 score I should see the next Blam Prize this week. OH WHAT FUN I’m having.

Many are trying a “maze” method to try and corral them to the center. Aligning decorations like fences to form a maze and see if it forces them into a center point. Haven’t fully played with the set up myself…but may be worth a try.

ugh I keep getting 9 minion stewies. Or I find a group and when I place the bomb they run away.
So annoying! I keep getting 5 or 9 and than see a whole bunch at 1 place when I used all my bombs 😦

Have you tried the “maze” set up. Create a maze structure with fences or other items to see if it forces them to one center to attack. Let us know.

Well I made a big open field with some buildings around it + I made a big wall of buildings to lock of some other section. I got a bunch of minions at 1 place (6). So lets see if I can get more.

I just beat the kill 10 minions challenge and I got the next challenge to kill 50 minions with 1 bomb. Has anyone else got that? And I feel that’s impossible.

I cannot bomb any minion stewies as every time I push the bombs away button, it closes my game. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and messaged TinyCo in game with no response. I have a blackberry Z30 running the latest Android version, 1.1.14. Any ideas of what to do to fix so that I don’t miss out on the third car?

I know that this event takes up a lot of memory. My only other thoughts are to try some outside troubleshooting. Make sure you have all other apps that could be running in the background closed down. Make sure you are on a strong WiFI signal to support the game. Make sure the app has plenty of Memory space left open to run on.
Other than that and what you have already tried…TinyCo would be the next step. Sorry.

Can someone please tell me if the ‘not always dropping’ problem with Stan Lee’s trailer has been fixed yet?

Thanks to everyone with tips on how to get the multiple minion stewies for the bombardier trophy I tapped like heck in front of quagmires house and a few strayed into the mist of it and I ended up with 14 stewies. So thanks again.

I’m loving Comic-con and the weekly updates are fun! Since last nights update I have noticed a BIG slow down in Blue nerds, has any one else noticed this?
I also got the Q even though I know this is supposted to generate nerds, I stored it to see if that was making my blue nerds slow.
The blue nerds also dont seem to be spawing from the comic con building anymore they just show up randomly all over the town. Is this true for everyone?
I’m not complaing just trying to see if this happend to everyone or just me.

I would say to watch the direction they are running. If they are going to the bomb spot…great…if they are heading away…less likely the cloud will get them in time.
Couple that with some of the tricks I listed as well as other players to “trap” them in. Many are stating that setting up a “maze” with fences or buildings forces them into an area so you can zero in on them.

Still not much luck with the drop rate for items from the minions. I probably nuked at least 500 or 600 by now, still only got 1 camera and 3 books. BUT the red nerds are dropping notepads like crazy, even though it is not listed in the options – only Lois and the trailer. Is this a glitch?

It is listed in our post. Just take a look at the update post on Stan. Right by his image. Material Breakdown. The nerds are listed by the Notebooks. 😉

There is other stuff which got updated lasts night.
The zapper time doesn’t reset when you use a battery.
Now the nerds drops the notepad, even though it’s not in the list…

I am getting really frustrated with the glitch issue “screen freaks out when you tap it.” I was so disappointed to read TinyCo’s response to this issue “Since it’s a minor usability issue, more nuisance than frustration, it gets bumped.” I may leave the game over this issue. It is getting too frustrating.

Have you contacted them to let them know what it does for you?
The screen jumping that I discussed with them they have NOT been able to replicate, therefor they have no way of finding a fix. Matt actually reached out to the community in the post as well as the comments that if anyone can give them a detail description on how to recreate the issues…they would love to know so they can see it happen themselves and resolve it.
This is why communication with them is so important. If no one explains the issue they are having, and they can’t replicate it, it is impossible to repair as the player is the ONLY one seeing it. Does that make sense?

I find it very difficult to believe that they can’t replicate this… It happens to me and EVERYONE I know ALL the time!!! Do they even do any QA?? It sometimes looks to me that they don’t have any quality control and just use the players and this site as a real-time testing lab… we are victims of the success of this site that they can actually do this 😉

Well…a MILLION players is a great place to test something vs you and your 10 co workers. MORE results. MORE of a mix of devices from old to new. It is most definitely a great way to get feedback. Not to mention the styles of playing and the differences in devices themselves. Games act different to a players touch vs whether or not there is a screen protector vs what the settings are on the touch screen…on n on n on.
So what may seem normal to one player that they see daily may be completely foreign to another. 😉

Getting money now as well as Blam, meaning less Blam per mass takeout of minion Stewies. That’s a shame. With the Blam payout, I thought there was a real chance of the majority of us getting the last few prizes but this will have dramatically reduced chances.

The money is just a replacement for items you can get, I.e., if you already have all the Classic Books for Stan Lee, it will replace it with 5 coins.

I can’t manage to hit 10 stewies at once with 1 bomb. The max I’m getting is 9 😦 I’ve tried clearing some buildings making a small open space, tried one long straight road and even an intersection but nothing seems to work for me. I tap the little buggers repeatedly but when I launch the bomb they run off the screen. Any suggestions how I may successfully get 10 in one go?

try to find a spot where they’re all crossing. Then tap them like crazy to get them to say and when you see more coming to that spot bomb, by the time it hits there it should get them all 🙂 (at least that’s what worked for me)

Really appreciate all the tips on targeting minions. Just curious, I won the Q hotel, which in the prize list description says that it spawns nerds. Mine hasn’t produced any nerds. Is this just me, or is everyone who has won the hotel having the same experience?

Q produces yellow shirt nerds, you may not notice at first because they’re such a slow spawn rate…but if you leave them for a little bit you’ll see more than 4 in your town 🙂

I think you get coins from minion Stewie once you’ve collect all the items you get from them. I started getting coins from the minion stewies after I got the last items for Stan Lee. Coins replacing items is my guess.

Why am I collecting coins? There has been absolutely nothing new to spend them on. I understand Blam is the currency of the event, but tasks and buildings are still dropping coins. Would sure like to have something new/unique to event to spend them on.

i am enjoying all the little homages that Comic con has brought to the game. The TARDIS/Bill&Ted phone box, the Mach5 for Blaze, the Fortress of Solitude outhouse, Capt. Hammered as Slim Pickens, the Robuttasaurus (MechaGodzilla), & of course the Trek themed nerds. Though, since Red Shirts are by nature more expendable, I would’ve expected them to be the common nerd, as opposed to the Blues.. All the inside quips that the guests will utter from time to time funny as well..

Don’t know if anyone has asked yet but since we now have the minion stewie’s does the “nothing suspicious here factory” actual spawn minion stewies? If so does if spawn them faster or allow a higher max amount of them?

Has anyone bombed past 15? I know I had more on stack, but some how only got credited for 15. Was wondering if gas just didn’t “reach” them or that is the maximum count per bomb.

Looks like you can’t really go past 15. Was able to do it few more times. You’ll have criters still walking around after cloud dissipates if there are more than 15 hit.
