What the DEUCE??!! Why are there creepy crawly lil Stewie’s all over the town? AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
TinyCo has added yet ANOTHER fun element to the game. (One I am quite enjoying.) You thought spraying all that Pesticide on Giant Stewie wasn’t gonna have a side effect? Well, it sure did. I give you…MINION STEWIE’S!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I LOVE MINIONS!!! FYI…This one is here to stay for the ENTIRE Event too. 🙂
So let’s dive on in and breakdown the fun new element in our Quahog Comic Con Event.
How do I get them in my game?
You will need to have completed the tasks to Enfant Terrible (Part 6 is the last of it) in the Giant Stewie questline.
Can I tap on them?
Nope. The only way to clear out these crazy lil Minions is to make them go KABOOOOOM!! Lol. You got to bomb them with Pesticide Bombs.
However, if you do decide to tap on them, you will get a funny lil dialog pop up.
How do I get Pesticide Bombs?
You can get Pesticide Bombs by sending Characters on various tasks in the game.
UPDATE 8-15 2PM EST: Due to confusion from players on Part 3 of “Bombs Away” with Blobulous, his two hour task to get Bombs will be disabled until Part 3 is completed. (People were sending Blobulous 2hr instead of Chris 4hr.) Then it will return.

Bout time these lil Blue Guys did some work to help out. Now you will get Pesticide Bombs dropping along with their Blam! WOOHOO!
How do I drop the Pesticide Bombs?
Locate the Pesticide Bomb button in the lower right hand corner of your game.
(This will only show once you complete the beginning tutorial part of him coming into the game. If you have completed it and still don’t see the Button, Force Close/Restart and reload the game and it should appear.)
Using your finger, drag the screen around until the target locks on to an area with the BIGGEST amount of Minion Stewie’s (I have a lil hint on the bottom of a few ways to corral them). You can zoom in and out all you want, just like you normally do on your device.
Once you have your target, tap on the “Bombs Away” button and watch the fun unfold. WOOHOO!! KABOOOOOM!!! The gas will disperse and destroy all the Minions within its range. (Again, hit those areas with the most clustered together.) If you are lucky, the Minions will not have crawled away too fast and are consumed in the fog. That or more may wander in. Essentially, all those within the circular gas cloud BEFORE it dissipates will be destroyed. They will try to run out, some will make it.
What is the Payout on the Minion Stewie’s?
Now for the goodies. These lil Minions are stuffed full of all sorts of prizes for you to collect. You will see a mix of the following items to collect. As usual, some items have a rarer rate so may not show as often. (They will drop at their set rates. Rare, Extra Rare, etc.)
Blam! (15 0r 25)
Classic Books
Movie Cameras
Ice Cream Sundaes
Clam (yes…I said CLAMS!)
What is the Spawn Rate of the Minion Stewie’s?
They will arrive every 10 minutes until you hit YOUR max. (Between 20-40)
What is the MAX amount of Minion Stewie’s?
Now this part will vary on where YOU are in the game.
<District 4: Max of 20 in your Quahog
District 4 Unlocked: Max of 24
District 5 Unlocked: Max of 28
District 6 Unlocked: Max of 32
District 7 Unlocked: Max of 36
District 8 Unlocked: Max of 40
So as you can clearly see, this new line of Minion Stewie’s will add even MORE Blam! earning potential, material drops, and so much…MORE!!
(Had to add this cuz it made me giggle)
Now for my own personal EBIL (YES…a B!! Cuz I’m beyond evil)!!!
I’m having a blast and giggling so hard at this new incarnation. I just want to do nothing but Bomb lil Minion Stewie’s all day. Lol. I can’t get Bombs fast enough. Their lil dialog when you tap them while they run…hilarious. I just can’t get enough of it. Game of Cat & Mouse. Just…SO FUN!! The fact they also stop and squirt ink at you too. I am quite enjoying this.
Speaking of, here’s my lil “tricks”. Find a group of them right by each other…and tap. Make them ink you. Don’t stop. As another speeds by…do the same. Add them to the tapping group. Keep this up a bit til you have a good group stopped and inking you…then…KABOOOOM! Hit that Bomb button and Bombs Away as fast as you can. It helped me to get a decent amount at once. (At least 5 or 6.)
I have also noticed they like to walk in a line, so I have taken my town apart and created nice lil rows…kinda like a farm. I put these so they run right to the edge of available land. What this creates is it makes them all come walking down the rown, then they bottleneck and literally walk the edge of the land. Allowing me to Bomb them and hit several at a time. Coupled with my tip above, I am getting a lot with one Bomb. I am still tweaking the width of the lines seeing just how close to put the houses and buildings, but it is fun to play around with. (p.s. They DO disappear just inside the foggy areas if you have any. All you see is a lil head grazing the edge of it. Lol.)
There you go. The more detailed run down of the new Minion Stewie incarnations that are overtaking our towns. This should really help to boost that Blam! count even higher for you. Minion bombing is awesome, getting about 6-7 per bomb. I was wondering though about a box that came up near the beginning of the event with a joe picture for android users… has anyone else had that box or is there any news about that?

I’ve noticed when the little minion stewies appeared, the game appeared to skip or slow down at times due to alot going on in town. I don’t have excessive amounts of animated items in my Quahog (I just recently took alot of animated prizes from the Full Moon event out of my town and put them in my inventory). My phone has plenty of memory left on it (it had 20GB when I first got it). What could be causing the hiccups in the game? Thanks!

My son Rocco (10) blasted 16 minions at a time, using the tapping & freezing technique.
The message received was “Deberías dedicarte a esto” (something like: “You should make a living by this”).

I almost think Tinyco is trying to make it easy to collect the necessary 100,000 blam so in the long run the whole week early launch for Apple becomes a total wash. If you can’t get the 1000,000 with all the scoring opportunities being presented then you probably aren’t really trying that hard. They can basically afford to give away Takei in exchange for the loot they will make selling Cranston & probably Fillion.

Ha! I built a chain link maze in the center of my town and collecting those minions is a breeze..combined with the tap tip I am also getting 8-10 at a time..woot! Happy Friday all!😀

Idk if its been said already but..
They seem to spawn on the roads,
I made it so i removed all my roads except one square of road then i used lava fences to create a sort of spiralling outwards maze from the road so it goes around in a circle. You cant block it off fully otherwise they go over it but aslong as there is a exit they seem to follow through the walls. Bomb the middle and you get 10 everytime they respawn as they are following through the walls and cant escape by the time the fog dissapears

is it my imagination or has the blue nerd spawn rate seriously declined? in the first half of the event i got a dozen blue nerds every 20 or 30 minutes. now i get 3 or 4.

Many players are commenting on the same thing…personally I haven’t noticed but it’s entirely possible they dropped it because Blue nerds drop bombs.

Anyone have this dense white fog obscuring the reticle when you start bombing? It goes away when I exit the bombing screen, and comes right back when I want to bomb.

Yesterday I wasn’t sure how I felt about the little minion Stewies, but you’re right – bombing them with pesticide is pretty fun! Plus they’ve dropped a decent amount of items, including the sundaes, and I’ve gotten plenty of bombs from the blue nerds. The minions are probably my favourite version of mutant Stewie so far, well done TinyCo

Most ive gotten is 5 or 6 at a time on luck, im not going to change my town, its heaving as ive put something on all current land available.
It annoys me when I get 0 kills despite dropping on a minion, I must be hitting buildings and that makes a difference. Still its the best task so far as its a moving target, the others are too easy.

Do you think there will be any uses for the batteries besides zapping latcher stewie? I was saving them up and only zapping him every four hours, but I’ve started to use them just to get rid of them.
Also, how often do the minion stewies drop items besides Blam!? I have killed over 200 and only gotten 7 items.

I have gotten 2 movie camera at once from a group of 5, and a camera and classic book from a group of 7. Managed my personal best of 10 with one bomb and that netted me with 1 camera.

like folks saying here, let the minions build then click em till you have a bunch together and BOMBS AWAY. 150-200 blam for 8 of them which is easy to do. man this is just fun….

We all waited patiently for Stewie and now our towns are overrun with them, loving it. Best event ever, I salute TinyCo and you guys for what has been a great couple weeks, and would I be right to think lots more to come. This event will take some beating, don’t you agree? Thanks for the bomb advice, 9 is my record to date.

I’m looking forward to more sleep at night – nice update and bomb drop rate. Just got the trike bike and 8/35 Stan the man items, only 25k from takei – so moving along at a nice clip.
In my characters – it still shows blobulous as a locked character (coming soon) although I unlocked him yesterday – does this show in anyone else’s game? Too bad we lost the 2 hr bomb task for blobulous for now

That’s true – and my math was off – looks like 15 notebooks needed – odd I thought this was only 10 when Stan was released from cocoon – either way – I just got 3 notebooks – 2 from red nerds and 1 from Lois – so 4/15 in a day.

I was already able to get more than 15000 blam and almost all the items to unlock SL except of course the notebook.
So I was thinking maybe this wasn’t meant to be so easy with the ‘trick’.
I believe an update will pop out soon to make it harder.

I have a feeling this part of the event is going to get nerfed soon somehow. In less than 24 hours, I have managed to finish the timed quest, get more than 10k blam and collected majority of the 2 items needed for stan that drop from bombing stewie. I don’t think TC was planning on making it this easy for players to collect items and give a huge boost to blam collection at the same time. Specially with more than 24 days to go.

That’s what i am thinking too. This has been too easy now. I’m almost done with the 300 task, went from only 2 sundaes for few days before the minions to unlocking blobulous in less than 24 hours after they were released, and i almost hv the 2 items needed for stan lee. I’m collecting and bombing like no tomorrow now. Just in case they realise it’s too easy now 😀

It helps to make sure you line up your shot before you start tapping on your minion collection…saved about 16 of my bombs last night while Stan was crawling out of his caccoon (still got halfway to the Trike) then woke up early and had the Trike by 6am without ever even coming close to running out of bombs, they seem to appear as fast or faster than the minions…minions, yes it’s surprisingly easy to clear your streets when you’re hitting groups of 7-10 at a time…also when you are starting your group you can tap on the minions running away from your spot and they are likely to change direction you may have to try it a couple of times before they head in the right direction, but this really helps when your minion supply starts to run thin. And remember, tap swiftly! Not seeing a huge drop rate for Stans stuff from the minions, but loving this new update.

Has anyone else noticed that blobulous no longer has the two hour option for bombs? Or, at least mine didn’t. I just stuck Chris in there using a 4 hour, but no big deal because you get plenty of bombs.

When i saw the 300 minions for the bike i was a bit nervous. now that i see how easy it is to get 6-10 per bomb this will be very easy. already past 200 and counting. the bombs are easy to get from the nerds so other than bonny, the others will stay on pesticide gathering duty and stan unlocking duty and won’t bother earning bombs.
already decided that the 100k was doable now with this i am wondering how many days early i will get there! i am now 3 days ahead of the android calendar and STILL FREEMIUM BABY!!!
i do enjoy the heck out of bombing them though 😀

Blue nerds also give bombs at a respectable rate (1 in 4 or so)… I seem to get a number of bombs this way, and I feel less sorry for the blue nerds because the finally have a purpose (beyond their minimal Blam yield).

best i got was 10 minions, it says “looked like you lost some weight” but also love this new edition, got the 300 for the Tri-cycle very quickly & made about 15k blam within last 24hrs zero clams spent! Will have Q-Hotel and Blobulous tonight

The most I can get with 1 bomb is 10 even if the bomb gets more than that, the others seem to get through

A little suggestion to make grouping stewies easier. I don’t know if someone has posted this already. This would ruin the aesthetic look of your town. Stack your buildings as close to each other as possible and try to leave as little green patch as possible in between buildings (This is where all those debris buildings, skateboard parks, yachts, fireworks and lincoln memorials that came from those boxes become useful) While stacking your buildings, leave a moderate amount of STRAIGHT green land that goes from one edge of the screen to the other. Do it both horizontally and vertically. Leaving you with a + like intersection. As the stewies mainly walk through the open land (though they walk through the edges of town and in between buildings at times, it doesn’t happen often), majority tend to pass through the intersection. With the trick of tapping on the stewies to have them stay in place, you could have several on the intersection easily. I average 6-10 stewies a bomb.

My first try last nite I only got one minion cuz I didn’t really know what was going on (so I stopped til I could check in on the great advice I always find here). 🙂 !!! Now I regularly get 8-11 in every bombing.
My best strategy I’ve found is on an L shaped street and once I see 3 or 4 there I tap on them til several others come along, and because I don’t have buildings in the way I see more coming and that’s when I bomb. Works every time.
It’s awesome how much great stuff you get from these little guys.

Grrrrr! Now’s when I really hate how my screen gets jumpy and doesn’t move smooth. Once I get 300 I’ll chill and just use the bombs I get but even worth the tips I’m not getting many per bomb.

Have you tried storing some unused items from the game? Especially animated ones from previous events? It may help to free up some memory. Also make sure your are on a high signal WiFi. Spotty signals add to it too. Let us know if that helps. 😉

Pretty fun addition to the event. Best I’ve gotten in one shot is 8 but am almost halfway to 300. Been getting most of the bombs from the blue nerds, have had a few that dropped blam and a bomb. Tapping on them does freeze them but b careful where u gather them, I was doing it by a bldg and while frantically tapping them accidentally tapped a bldg and sped it up. Wasted 17 clams. Almost to 70k blam and have already gotten several items to unlock Stan Lee.

The drops from minions are insane! Yesterday I had only 1 Sundae, but today I collected them all. Also I made lots of blam (~5k) only from bombing minions. I think that i less than two weeks I will earn the rest of 52k blam needed to earn George Takei. Also, the mini game is very enjoyable.

Yeah, holy crap! I was really struggling with those ice creams before too, then breezed right through them since last night. And just now I hit the jackpot on classic books – got 3 in one single bombing! Then 2 more a couple bombs later! Man I hope they don’t scale things back… At their current Blam rate I’ll even be able to get George Takei as a free player! (which didn’t seem possible before, even with the giant mutant Stewie bonuses)

As for minion farming (as I’ve started calling it) I’m not enjoying it so much. I think TinyCo knew it would drive us a little crazy that the minions run away at exactly the same speed that the pesticide cloud spreads at lol. So I can tap 5 or 6 but by the time the bomb is away a few of them are juuuuuust escaping! I do like that they drop stuff to unlock the cameo master, I’ve gotten a bunch of stuff already. However after I unlock the car any Stan I think I will be going back to pesticide stocking and hitting the big guy! Just my thought, and keep up the awesome work! =)

What i did was remove all unnecessary stuff aka decos then shortened walkways so i can find my peeps then cleared out clusters of buildings, giving land clearance to see those lil buggers, tap as you said to keep em steadfast and blast off! As you stated, 5 or 6 maybe even 8 as i was able to do that once! Those bombs cannot come fast emough LOL I am loving this sooooooo much!

I had the thought! would be easier, I’m not great with hand eye coordination type stuff so these little buggers are giving me fits, would rather sweep through town with a zapper.
Got GT today after a blast on big Stewie, so other than getting the last 100 little guys that I need for the car the pressure is off.
Anyone else get the creepy crawlies? To me they look like ticks or bed bugs crawling on my screen 🙂

Ugh!, How could you bring up the Easter event. I just threw up in my mouth, a little. The problem I found with the bunny zapper was having to slowly drag my finger over my iPad, then change direction. I much prefer the ghost bombs, from Halloween! Obviously, a much better event, too!
