Hello There Clammers!
Comic-Con phase 5 has arrived in Quahog! The fourth phase brings a new member of the Fabulous 4 to our towns as well another demonizing mutation for Stewie! I know many of you are curious about what’s in store for us in our Tiny Quahogs during the fifth phase of this event..So with that in mind here’s the full quick walkthrough for phase 5 of the event (phase 1 can be found here, phase 2 can be found here, phase 3 can be found here and phase 4 can be found here) This covers the main quests that popup during the 5th week of Comic-Con including: Demon Child and The Multiplier.
So now let’s harpoon a Demon Child shall we?
As always these are structured by questline (Note:Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example Demon Cihld Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.

Hey, so I was so focused on making sure that I completed the task that got me the Action Set (which, I thankfully got), that I will not be able to get the Chris’ bicycle in time. This means that I wont be able to get the jet, either, right? Is there a way that we can buy these with clams or should I just give up?

I am not sure. I have relayed info to them in regards to the task itself. Send any suggestions you have to them too via your in game menu, help and setting, and contact them.

Will I be able to finish character’s storylines after the event is over or not? I am on the part of Demon Child that requires Lois to do a 24 hour task. I kind of need her to get harpoons right now and can not spare her. Do i need to finish these up or can they wait? Will it impact anything if I wait?

I do not know that right now. Usually once the event is done, all items linked to it are removed too. I do not see it impacting anything at all. I would focus on what you need right now and leave the quests for later.

Unlocked the bike with a few hours to spare and also got the movie set and George. Pretty productive night 🙂 there was teaser popup in my game for Joe… is he coming this weekend?

Breathes a huge sigh of relief this morning the streak was reset when I woke up and only had 7 hours to defeat Stewie 5 more times with my collection of harpoons from the last 24 hours while waiting for the streak to reset. I was lucky to not get any duplications and completed a full streak to the top and unlocked the bike and also collected enough blame to get George Take as well. Well happy at the moment, Just need to work on getting multiplier now 🙂

I’m amazed that people have managed to get the Multiplier outfit so quickly. I’ve been working on it since it became available. Sending Quagmire on his Haiku task has gotten me 2 mags total, while I have been blasting minions Stewies constantly (always get 10+ each time and kill over 200 a day) and they have only dropped 2 mags total – both of which were on the first day.
I have all the lotion, only need 2 more calculators (got all of them purely by zapping latchers) but the mags seem to be amazingly broken. Haven’t had one in nearly three days now which is ludicrous considering the amount of minions I’ve slain in that time.
Think they need to rebalance the drop rate. As it is about 1 in every 500 minions for me right now, if that.

Wasn’t thinking… Stuck at 8/9 stewies exterminated and it’s asking for 25 of a harpoon I have zero of. 6 hours left. What a drag

I had a 2 hr window between Demon Stewie’s Streak resetting to 1x Streak and needing to get my last 2 Vanquishes to get the bike. Was hoping that once it reset back to 1x, I could get the last 2 vanquishes quite easily.
Now Demon Stewie has reset the streak time to 22hours, so I’m stuck at 30x streak, and I need 25 Old Time Harpoons in 10 hours to get the bike.
Crap and nuts.

So you didn’t Defeat him and were letting the time tick down and it reset on its own? But didn’t go back down to 1X? If that is the case, let TinyCo know through your game menu, help & settings.

Pretty sure I’m not getting the bike at all. All the Demon Stewie has been needing is the Old Timey Wimey Harpoons and that is all. I even spent all the clams I had from getting the Takei statue and unlocking Stewie to buy some and now he needs more! I have over 30 of the other two and haven’t had to use them since he first showed up. Mesaged TinyCo about this and still waiting for a reply.

I have completed the x30 Demon Stewie streak twice and neither time did it trigger the quest reward…
I contacted them through the in game contact us feature and got an automated reply about how to play the game… Straight from the users manual… Anybody else having this issue?

Did you complete all the other tasks on the Demon Child part 1 and 2 as well? Like send Captain Hammered to get the Harpoons?

Tinyco now have an answer for this in the FAQS in their help & support section within the game. It says after you reach x30, you have to do the next task of getting 20 more harpoons and you apparently win the movie set after this. I hope this works for me!

Hi, i was one hit away from vanishing giant mutant stewie and completing the goal of vanishing him 9 times to obtain the new vehicle. I had peter, lois, and chris working away to get the last harpoons i needed to complete the event before it expires in 22hrs. However after two hours when i went back in to collect from lois,peter, and Chris, i find them roaming the streets and giant mutant stewie was needing modern harpoons and not the blue that it needed 2 hrs ago. So i went into the goal and now its saying i only vanished him 5/9!! And the timer continued leaving me with 20hrs left now. So no bike for me. Hope no one else goes through this. Sucks!

Every time I click on demon stewie to harpoon him a sound happens then the screen just stays zoomed in on the building he sits on and doesn’t stop. I can’t harpoon stewie it doesn’t work. Help

Try force closing the game. If that doesn’t work try restarting your device.

anyone else getting the error “Config empty for id stewieReviseHarpoonDesignReward in Reward” when trying to collect on Stewie’s Revise Harpoon Design task? i have characters stuck in the griffin house because of this, and every time i try to click the check mark it crashes my game. i already contacted tinyco using the help section of the settings in the game. i was just wondering if anyone else had this issue

Lol. I definitely do NOT work for TinyCo. If I did, I could not do any of my other jobs as it would be a conflict of interest. Competing gaming houses would not be happy. Lol. 😉

Question. Does anyone else have a quest from quagmire saying if you buy all the celebrity trailers you’ll get an exclusive Bryan Cranston trailer? My screen is small but it kinda looks like the trailer in Breaking Bad. I could be wrong. I’m really tempted but it’s a bit too pricey for me. I wish it was more like the timed car challenges than a spend premium cash kinda thing. O well.

Have any of you seen a issue that comes up when trying to click on the Griffin house when stewie has finished his harpoon earning task? Error message reads ” config for empty id stewieReviseHarpoonDesignReward in Reward”. Game immediately crashes but restarts without issue. Tried force closing. Doesnt work.

Total facepalm. Attempted to get a 30x streak with about 3 days left to get the bike. Now i have the action set but no time left to allow my streak to reset. So now i have to get 15 old timey ones, and then i still have one more to vanquish after that. If i buy clams to accomplish this, what is the best way to use them since it seems you cant buy harpoons outright

My best strategy Clam wise? If you have Nathan, send him on his harpoon earning task and speed it with Clams to get harpoons. Otherwise, if you have Stewie…same. That will be the best route to gain more with Clams.

Managed to unlock the bike and get the set for the streak. I didn’t have the drop problem that many seem to have, though modern harpoons did get requested a lot.
I’m just now working on the Multiplier, but is it me, or are people having problems with the minion Stewies not dropping porno mags? I keep blasting about 10 or 11, but nothing drops. Worked fine for Stan Lee but not the Q Man.

I’m so lucky! I need 1 more kill for the challenge. I need 20 old time harpoons. I have 22h 33minutes left on the clock of the challenge and 22h 19minutes on the stewie reset timer. Means that I’m totally going to get the bike.

The harpooning is terribly implemented. I have no word of a lie, had Old Timey harpoon for nearly ever one for the last 3 days. I havne’t been able to harpoon Stewie more than 2 times in a given period of time. Now with 20 hours to go I claw my way back to 11 old timey harpoons thinking I’m set with my 20+ of the other two varieties and it goes right back to old timey for the 4th time in this particular run of attacking stewie. My wife has had the same thing but instead she has been soley stuck on the blue rocket one. Now I’m going to miss the bike and have been doing well hitting the other stuff, not pleased at all.

I’m going for maximum harpoons to try and get the bike. But is there any advantage to having Lois Analyze Mutant Clone DNA now? I realize that I’ll have to defeat Stewie more times overall, but I don’t want to stop her collecting harpoons before the 4 day timer. I don’t think I’m going to make the 9 times as it is!

You never know what harpoons Stewie will need. So any tasks you can send them on to earn them would be helpful.

I’ve got 19 hours to get 12 modern harpoons to get the vehicle 😦 don’t think I’ll manage this one that sucks! Anyone got any tips for me?

You can rush character tasks for a few clams, and it’s cheaper to rush Peter/Lois/Chris than, say, NF. Rushing the last ~45 minutes of their tasks only costs 1 clam IIRC.

Oh and don’t forget, you can click on the yellow boxes to make sure the task drops the right kind of harpoons! 🙂

Be patient & keep collecting harpoons. If it comes down to the final hour or so & you are close, you can always speed up Seamus task for 4 clams to get a random harpoon. Might be able to get what you need for less than 20 if you’re lucky.

Any idea if there are any plans for more buildings to be purchased for Blam? I have allot of Blam to spend, but dislike duplicate buildings. Hate to see it all go to waste.

So my gf has gone away on holiday and wants me to check in her town so she doesnt miss out on the bike. Can i freely log in and out of our fb linked accounts to switch between our games or will it have a fit and link one game to both our fb accounts? Or worse delete them both? thanks in advance.

It depends on what FB account is active on your device. That is the one it will log into. So if you have yours running on your account, log out of your FB. Log into hers, then launch the app and log into her FG account.

I am super happy I finally got GT today, the 4th vehicle and the movie scene!!!! Still working on Quagmire’s Multiplier costume but I will get it, only 4 more calculators and 3 more mags. I have been saving all my free clams and so I decided to buy Nathan Fillion the other day. I’m glad I did, he’s worth it lol. This event is totally doable for free players. Way better than the last event. I won’t get Bryan Cranston but that’s ok. Being able to complete the quests and get the Blam! Prizes and the rest of the prizes was my goal. NF was total bonus splurge lol.

I thought the Harpoons were suppose to rotate but I tend to have the same one required 2-3 times in a row which will probably prevent me from getting this weeks bike 😦

I just unlocked George, yay! I also got the final “car” so that’s great too.
I’m thinking that the “multiplier” costume will disappear when the even is over, so is there really a point in continuing to try and unlock it? Also is there a reason to continue to collect BLAM? I have all the BLAM purchased buildings and decor…

All the costumes you unlock fully and have active in your game are yours to keep once the event ends.

I managed to optimize my efforts and completed two quests at the same time: reached 30x on the Streak meter while defeating Demon Stewie for the 9th time. Expected to get both Action Movie Set and the Bike at once, but so far only received Bike.
Waiting for the answer to my in-game message now.

I was among those who didn’t receive the film set on their first trip to the top of the Demon Stewie streak meter. I just wanted to update for anyone else who experienced this, that I DID get it on my second trip up. I don’t know if it made a difference, but I made sure to open up the item in my Quest Log and click on the “GO” button, just in case that was some kind of trigger (I wanted the film set, gimme a break lol). I never did hear back from TinyCo though.

I have one day left for the bike and 1 or the 15 red spears I need with 23 hours till demon resets. Only one time have I not needed red spears, blue hasnt came up yet. I may not complete this challenge and im bummed about it. I wish I could buy spears with clams!

Something kind of funny happened. When I got enough harpoons to actually take out Stewie the Movie set popped up before I even took him out for the 30 multiplier. Pretty surprised how fast I unlocked George being 100% freemium. Glad I didn’t get any of those trucks of the Somallier (sp?) station, althought the bar is pretty cool.

Same happened for me but it was late at night and I foolishly clicked the defeat button and waste my harpoons. I’m a bit worried that I won’t get the bike as I only had a day and 17 hour to defeat mutant stewie 5 more time and now have to wait a day for it to reset. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t ask me for modern harpoons like it has for the last three streaks.

Just finishing part 5, and then everyone will be focused on unlocking the multiplier costume, just unlocked George so I finally have all the characters. Didn’t get the 100 clams for unlocking the second set though.

Very helpful. If timed correctly you could use your mutant Stewie kills to satisfy the demon child part 4 and bike award at the same time.

Wish I had thought of this! Sadly, my bike quest started fairly quick (I guess because I checked out the bike or something).
Didn’t want to lose Lois’ harpoon-income for 24 hours during that timer, although with plenty time left and one kill to go I probably would have been fine. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20.

Do you know if Nathan Fillion will drop harpoons if you get him before you reach the demon Stewie part of the game? I’m very tempted to buy NF, especially if I can begin to build up stock of harpoons to catch up on my game a little.

Once the Demon is in the game, the tasks start to generate harpoons. The Challenge for me didn’t trigger til the end of Demon Child Part 2 in a test game. Then Chris as Blobulous popped up to start the challenge.
