Where The Hell…? Crippletron

In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?

Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?

In this post, I will be covering the Origin of Crippletron. What is with the stack of people in wheelchairs? Why did they form into a Transformer type robot? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.

Season 5, Episode 14: No Meals On Wheels
Peter got a new pair of footy jammies and drove the family nuts by hiding all around the house and shocking them. Lois had enough of it and asks Quagmire to help her tear up all the carpet. Under the last patch was an old coin worth $50,000. Peter ends up buying a restaurant. “Big Pete’s House of Munch”. When the business starts to dwindle, Peter talks to his friends to figure out what to do. Joe offers to bring by all his cop friends and make it a new place for them to hang out. Peter is a bit annoyed to see all his friends are “parallelograms” (paraplegics).

The business is great, but Peter is still irritated by the fact that they are all in wheelchairs. No matter what Lois says, Peter just can’t accept it. So he finds a way to deal with it, by putting up a “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Legs, No Service” sign. Joe is not happy. He swears he will return with more “handicap guys”. Peter doesn’t care, he won’t let them in. So…they form up Crippletron and attack Peter and his restaurant. Stewie stops them buy jumping on Joe (who is the head) and covering his eyes. This causes Crippletron to fall into the restaurant, on top of Peter, and falls apart. Peter, of course, ends up in a wheelchair from his injuries. He realizes just how hard it is to be in one and goes to apologize to Joe.

  1. Someone must have said this but can we get a rename to “Grinds my Gears” vs “What the Hell”. Feels perfect

  2. To expensive. Also it’s in ollies town so it’s not like I don’t see it every day.

  3. Don’t know where else to post this, but when the Halloween event creeps on in, how about if TinyCo makes our Quahogs experience nighttime? That would add a cool factor to the game instead of it being daylight all the time. Perhaps TinyCo can involve the Crippletron with the event somehow, maybe it could be one of the random prizes from a Brian or Stewie casket? I know Halloween is still a ways off, but its never too early to make a wish list!

  4. Has anyone finished up Joe’s RoboCop tasks ? What’s the prize?

  5. Maybe this will be the rare drop from Blam! exchange boxes this time around. Who knows?

  6. i’ve had my eye on this since the beginning of the game & once the comicon event ends i might just give in & buy 1.

  7. i absolutely loved that episode but as for the game, the price seems a bit steep!

  8. I just saw this episode the other day on Netflix. It’s one of my favorites. The Quagmire comment about “tearing up your carpet” is classic. They need to add House Of Munch to buildings to add to our towns. And Peter shuffling his feet to shock people in his footie-pajamas would be a great activity. This was Family Guy in it’s prime. 🙂
