Hey there Clammers. Having fun yet? Have you got all your Blam! Prizes yet? Still having a “blast” with the Minion Stewie’s? Well, we thought it would be fun to do something a lil different. GIVE AWAY FREE STUFF!!
Everyone likes Free Stuff. Everyone wants Free Stuff. Do YOU want Free Stuff? Those that know us from our other blog, know we LOVE to spoil our readers with Free Stuff. While I was wandering around the San Diego Comic Con, I decided to snag some swag to bring home for our readers. I was able to get some Limited Edition and numbered posters for the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Comic Con Event. I also got my hands on some fun Character Cards too.
So…now what to do? How exactly should we give them away? Well we are playing a silly lil game full of Random items, Random drops, Random quests…so…why not give away prizes… Randomly? Lol.
HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is comment on THIS post. Give us a random thought on the game, the characters, life in general, the blog, you favorite commentor, etc. Tell us a story. Give us a poem. Just pretty much anything…random. (Keep in mind our same protocols and guidelines will most definitely be in place, so check hate at the door and keep it PG.) Just make sure in the spot on the Comment form you put in your ACTUAL email address, as this is how we will contact winners. Only ONE comment per reader allowed. No duplicates accepted. Anyone abusing the system will immediately be disqualified.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START? END?
The Contest will begin as soon as this post goes live on our blog and will continue until Tuesday September 2nd, 2014 at 11:59PM EST. At that time the comments will be closed.
HOW DO I WIN?
After the close of the contest, all eligible comments will then be put into the Randomizer (http://www.random.org/) and winners will be selected. Winners will then be contacted via email provided and a Legal Address must then be provided to the Addicts within one week of being emailed or they will forfeit any prizes. They will be announced by Friday September 5th, 2014 in a separate post.

~Alissa & Bunny~

I started Family Guy : Quest For Stuff back in may towards in the end of the circus event. I didn’t get to participate to much in that event. I will say that every event from the first has better then the previous. With ever game reference back to the show has been well thought out and it shows great dedication to our favorite show..
On top of a great game, we have also had a great knowledge and support center here on family guy addicts. I know many times I referenced this site for information on events and to read comments from fellow family guy fans.

Love this event. Had to boot up the kids Nabi tablet when I realized I had 3000 coins sitting doing nothing on amazon when I use iOS only to play. Thanks amazon for Bryan Cranston!

If you “accidentally” swam in Geek Garbage and obtained super powers, what would your super power be? I personally am open to any random super power, but I must say that I am loving the idea of multiplying.. Giggity! I just hope I don’t get “Meg’d” Poor poor Meg 🙂
Alissa & Bunny you Rock!
This is my go to spot when I need my addict support group, and info about the game.
So does anyone else wonder what happened to all that left over ham? Could it be powering the minion factory lol
Does anyone remember what life was like before Family Guy the Quest for Stuff?
I could go on and on with random thoughts or stories, it’s just how my brain operates. Randomness rules!

Great game. I’ve been playing it for a very long time and have enjoyed every moment of it.
I love family guy and watch it every day.
These events keeps the game fun and interesting. I strive to do everything and when I miss a character it’s sad, but hope they will reappear in the future. Herbert is my all time favourite character, would have liked to see him with his perverted super powers.
I have him as my notification, “Hi kyle, mm mm mm mm mm.” It’s crazy the looks people give you when you walk in town and he goes off. There were actually one time when there was a guy named kyle and he thought I was talking to him. Awkward moment. ..

Thanks for all the stuff this community and blog puts out there! Glad I got in on the beginning of the game and I plan to stick with it for the long haul. I’ve been saving up a bunch of clams for what I hope will be a huge Halloween event. Hope to grab one of the posters. Good luck everyone.

Thanks for all that you guys do! I don’t think I would be halfway through this event if you guys weren’t always telling me what was happening. And thanks for showing TinyCo our feelings too. It’s really powerful for us to voice our opinions and then you passing that information along. So thank you all so much!

Definitely love the game. The comic con game has been epic. Can’t wait to see what the final phase brings tho sadly I spent all my blam on Rupert’s box of goodies. Lol to Alissa and bunny Ty for a fantastic blog! It’s my nightly ritual after a long day of tapping. Thanks again guys for bringing us the info on all of the updates to our favorite addiction!!!

Il pleure dans mon coeur
Comme il pleut sur la ville ;
Quelle est cette langueur
Qui pénètre mon coeur ?
Ô bruit doux de la pluie
Par terre et sur les toits !
Pour un coeur qui s’ennuie,
Ô le chant de la pluie !
Il pleure sans raison
Dans ce coeur qui s’écoeure.
Quoi ! nulle trahison ?…
Ce deuil est sans raison.
C’est bien la pire peine
De ne savoir pourquoi
Sans amour et sans haine
Mon coeur a tant de peine !

Despite this event being significantly better executed than the last one, I still see some room for improvement. My primary pet peeves are the non-use of older premium characters in the event. Consuela, Jake and the Brain-damaged Horse should be added to the list of collecting characters for rare and extra rare stuff, significantly adding to their value. After all, they’re pretty expensive in terms of actual money and should provide some solid and lasting reward. Their help with long tasks combined with low drop rates (“microchip”, anyone?) would be so welcome. And it would provide compelling resons for buying them in the first place.

I have been lurking on here for a while now but the hope of prizes has finally given me a voice!
I really like the event so far, much better than the previous one – this time I have managed to get everything I wanted through effort (and the maze trick) rather than paying.
The only downside for me (bar the many albeit understandable glitches I have encountered) has been the cost of Bryan Cranston 500 clams is too much for just a character (even a legendary one). Maybe him with a building may have led me to buy – fingers crossed I’ll be able to earn the clams in time but it is very unlikely.
I also like the addition of Iron baby to keep me going despite achieving everything (so far). Looking forward to district 9 and the much needed space it brings.
*phew* That wasn’t so bad – maybe I’ll start engaging more with you guys in the future.
Thanks for all your help with these events – it is nice to know there is a community of grinders out there 🙂

This game is pretty good with a few issues. One is happening right now. I have had the hardest time collecting the porno mags for the multiplier. Extra rare items have all dropped a million times easier than these magazines. I’ve spent enough money and didn’t want to spend more to buy clams so I’ve had to earn them with quagmire and bombing minion stewies, except only once has the bomb dropped a magazine. I’ve used the bomb over 150 times since it was able to drop this item. This seems berry unusual for a rare item. I wonder if this was a typo and the mags were suppose to be extra rare. I had an easier time collecting the eyeballs and plutonium!!! It’s still a fun game but I am very curious if anyone else is having this problem.

I can’t thank this whole community enough for turning this game into a once/twice a day couple minute killer into a full on addiction. Heck, there are even times I’m so addicted I’m watching family guy on DVD, playing FG:TQFS, and popping on here for tips and to read everyone’s comments.

I love the concept ehind this contest! But I’d also like to throw into 2 cents over a controversial subject.
Now, Android owners have suffered most with this current event and givin them something extra as a thank you for their patience is a great idea.
What isn’t a great idea is exclusivity to Android users.
I’m sure delaying content wasn’t done on purpose, but denying content that could easily be transferred over to other platforms is sending the wrong message. If accessing the Robo Joe costume was harder in the other version, then that would be understandable. But purposefully withholding content plies that this is punishment for either not being punished beforehand or for not being rich enough to afford an Android device.
I think a better deal would’ve been to give Android users an easier time to unlock Joe’s new robot outfit while making everyone else go through the collection routine we’ve gone through before with other costumes.
What do you guys think? Am I taking this too seriously or do you think it could’ve been dealt with in another way?
