Hey there Clammers. Having fun yet? Have you got all your Blam! Prizes yet? Still having a “blast” with the Minion Stewie’s? Well, we thought it would be fun to do something a lil different. GIVE AWAY FREE STUFF!!
Everyone likes Free Stuff. Everyone wants Free Stuff. Do YOU want Free Stuff? Those that know us from our other blog, know we LOVE to spoil our readers with Free Stuff. While I was wandering around the San Diego Comic Con, I decided to snag some swag to bring home for our readers. I was able to get some Limited Edition and numbered posters for the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Comic Con Event. I also got my hands on some fun Character Cards too.
So…now what to do? How exactly should we give them away? Well we are playing a silly lil game full of Random items, Random drops, Random quests…so…why not give away prizes… Randomly? Lol.
HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is comment on THIS post. Give us a random thought on the game, the characters, life in general, the blog, you favorite commentor, etc. Tell us a story. Give us a poem. Just pretty much anything…random. (Keep in mind our same protocols and guidelines will most definitely be in place, so check hate at the door and keep it PG.) Just make sure in the spot on the Comment form you put in your ACTUAL email address, as this is how we will contact winners. Only ONE comment per reader allowed. No duplicates accepted. Anyone abusing the system will immediately be disqualified.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START? END?
The Contest will begin as soon as this post goes live on our blog and will continue until Tuesday September 2nd, 2014 at 11:59PM EST. At that time the comments will be closed.
HOW DO I WIN?
After the close of the contest, all eligible comments will then be put into the Randomizer (http://www.random.org/) and winners will be selected. Winners will then be contacted via email provided and a Legal Address must then be provided to the Addicts within one week of being emailed or they will forfeit any prizes. They will be announced by Friday September 5th, 2014 in a separate post.

A Total of 45 Prizes will be awarded that will include one or more of the following…

In addition, and to add to the Random fun, ONE random reader will be awarded a $10 Gift Card on their choice of platform. (iOS, Google Play, Amazon.) Nothing beats some Free Clams.

-This contest open to EVERYONE. However be aware that our friends outside of the US, 18 and older, you may enter the contest but an alternate prize may be awarded at our discretion if there is an issue shipping the prizes to you.

random thought about the game? um…
well my ye olde flip phone finally gave up the ghost (actually the screen did. phone itself still worked fine without issue but was impossible to get text messages with the green game boy-esque lined screen after a drop) after 6-8 years (I forget) of loyal service. at the same time my 4th gen iPodTouch fell off the bed onto my hard wood floor & cracked. So when Verizon said I could get a free (except for tax on full retail value) iPhone 5c I went for it. salesman couldn’t believe how long & got that flip phone to last (love LG phones) & didn’t even push the insurance on me because I “obviously take good care of stuff.”
Magically I can play this game now without having to restart my device everytime first! guess my iPod was just getting old & slow… but wow… so much faster. looks cooler too. I actually get little animations when I tap on things now that I didn’t before!
(is it wrong of me to want to try & fix that ye olde LG flip phone’s screen since the phone itself still works fine? or should I just toss it in the recycler? although I can’t really wipe my info off first b/c of the screen. hmmm… maybe this is a job for captain hammer!)

would it be possible if i just came over to your house and mowed your lawn or something to get the prize instead of leaving it to some random thing?? i pretty much suck at it and can’t guarantee i won’t end up in the hospital or that it’ll even look good when i’m done but hey it’s pretty much all i have besides my extremely awesome ability to sit here and read your blog for hours a day.

I would love to hear your predictions for the rest of the event releases, but you could never post any speculation without 80 percent of readers taking it as god’s word. I would guess: free clams for blam after Takei, maybe a blam mystery box, a couple more freemium buildings, and a surprise guest star! Maybe Seth orSethfrom the show! Also, the final vehicle for the fabulous four. What else? Who knows?!

I love this game. I will say that often I complain that things are too expensive but here I am, still playing! I’m so close to getting George Takei that I will scream if I don’t get him in time!!

I’m not very creative, so I’ll limit my random thought to the game itself. I’ve really been enjoying the Comic-Con event and I’m holding out for some mystery boxes that cost Blam instead of clams. But even if we don’t get that, I have a feeling we’ll have one or two more surprises as we head into the final stretch of this event.

Wow…cool contest. Errrr…something random…hmmmm…pressure is on…something that will make that random generator website abandon its randomness and choose my comment. Yes, I really do believe that writing something witty, interesting and random will affect a random generator. What do you mean that is absolute *&^*$%?
Anyway, only wanted to wrte a couple of points:
The event – loving it but spending way too much real money on it. Good looking buildings and voiced celebrities relevant to the event not helping. It’s Stan Lee! Patrick Stewart has a task “Make it Sew”, come on! Lots of thought from TinyCo about the event after the moon idol one and keeping it interesting all the way to the end. Now the question is, do I spend even more money on Bryan Cranston?
This site – Love the detail, love the humour, even got the wookie to write a post, what more could you want. Not quite sure how you manage this one plus the TSTO Addicts site and have time for real life!

Why don’t they have the characters that you buy do something special during events not the ones for the events but the four you purchased at the begging of the game this would be great also what’s up with clevand he has not done really anything for the event and finally really why would they release a special costum during this event for only 1 platform really it comic con events which has been great. Great I forgot one last thing I did not like how when you the Brian robot and you win batteries and the stewie bot gets released and same prize what am I going to do with 108 batteries they only drop every 4 hours should have been batteries only on one bot but not both ok that’s it still having fun

Absolutely love this event!
I only got this game during the last week of the pyramid event, which kinda sucked, but I’ve made full use of this event from the very start. As a freemium player I feel quite proud of myself in that I’ve managed to do everything the event has to offer!
What’s even better is that I have had much more luck than my girlfriend, she had wasted around 500 clams to try and ‘catch up’ with me.. Which indeed failed. 😉 I think it’s just jealousy 😉
Anyway better get back to hunting down those porn mags for quagmire! Thankyou and good luck everyone!
