Hey there Clammers. Having fun yet? Have you got all your Blam! Prizes yet? Still having a “blast” with the Minion Stewie’s? Well, we thought it would be fun to do something a lil different. GIVE AWAY FREE STUFF!!
Everyone likes Free Stuff. Everyone wants Free Stuff. Do YOU want Free Stuff? Those that know us from our other blog, know we LOVE to spoil our readers with Free Stuff. While I was wandering around the San Diego Comic Con, I decided to snag some swag to bring home for our readers. I was able to get some Limited Edition and numbered posters for the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Comic Con Event. I also got my hands on some fun Character Cards too.
So…now what to do? How exactly should we give them away? Well we are playing a silly lil game full of Random items, Random drops, Random quests…so…why not give away prizes… Randomly? Lol.
HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is comment on THIS post. Give us a random thought on the game, the characters, life in general, the blog, you favorite commentor, etc. Tell us a story. Give us a poem. Just pretty much anything…random. (Keep in mind our same protocols and guidelines will most definitely be in place, so check hate at the door and keep it PG.) Just make sure in the spot on the Comment form you put in your ACTUAL email address, as this is how we will contact winners. Only ONE comment per reader allowed. No duplicates accepted. Anyone abusing the system will immediately be disqualified.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START? END?
The Contest will begin as soon as this post goes live on our blog and will continue until Tuesday September 2nd, 2014 at 11:59PM EST. At that time the comments will be closed.
HOW DO I WIN?
After the close of the contest, all eligible comments will then be put into the Randomizer (http://www.random.org/) and winners will be selected. Winners will then be contacted via email provided and a Legal Address must then be provided to the Addicts within one week of being emailed or they will forfeit any prizes. They will be announced by Friday September 5th, 2014 in a separate post.
WHAT CAN I WIN?
A Total of 45 Prizes will be awarded that will include one or more of the following…
Limited Edition Numbered Family Guy Quest For Stuff Comic Con Poster. (Out of 2000.)
Limited Edition 3 Pack Character Cards from Comic Con (One each of Peter, Lois, and Quagmire. Character on front, Info on back same on each.)
ANY ADDITIONAL PRIZES?
In addition, and to add to the Random fun, ONE random reader will be awarded a $10 Gift Card on their choice of platform. (iOS, Google Play, Amazon.) Nothing beats some Free Clams.

-Open to familyguyaddicts.com readers age 18 and older.
-Contest Entries will open from time the And Now For Some FREE STUFF!! Random Contest!! is posted until 11:59 PM EST, Tuesday September 2nd, 2014. Any entries received after that time and date will not be eligible to win.
-Each contestant may only submit ONE entry! (NO revisions once submitted. If multiple entries are submitted by the same reader only the FIRST entry submitted will be accepted. This means we will not accept multiple comments from the same person. So think hard before you post it.)
-Valid email address must be provided when submitting an entry. This will be how we will contact you to let you know you won. Invalid emails will be withdrawn and not eligible for the contest. (This is the email address you fill out and provided in the comment form, they are not published on the blog and only view-able by the Addicts blog staff. If you already created a Gravatar, just ensure the accurate email address was used for contact.)
-This contest open to EVERYONE. However be aware that our friends outside of the US, 18 and older, you may enter the contest but an alternate prize may be awarded at our discretion if there is an issue shipping the prizes to you.
-Void where prohibited

So I spent a ton of Blam! on the new Blam! box. And I somehow got 420 clams worth of batteries! That would be awesome, but the Latcher Stewies take forever to spawn! I’ll just save it for the final vehicle challenge. So let me tell a poem about this:
“Oh dearest Rupert with a box,
Why do you treat me as if I have the pox.
I do not need batteries to get far
I do not need 500 harpoons to climb to the stars
I would much fall for the grace of a Stewie
Not like the demon on the roof, that’s a load of hooey,
I would much prefer a large one to put randomly in my city
Such that in months the idea of it will start to seem rather sh*tty
I thank you for the package of 25 clams
It makes my friends think of me as a ham
But please, next time, not so many batteries

Here’s a random thought, what if TinyCo was able to swap the Golden Suit Peter and Golden Pool in exchange for Joe’s Rollocop. iOS would still only have one exclusive skin but they would have the one they want.

Game is ok, not sure if I agree with the design decisions of clams needed to finish the event. Should be for speeding up/ additional premium characters (fine with 2 actors being premium).

I am really enjoying the voice work that has been done on this game, especially Nathan Fillion. He’s a pretty funny guy. My town his literally doubled since this event started. It’s been a really fun event! Thanks a lot for running this site, it has helped me a lot! I hope I win something!

I just wanted to spread my thoughts to all of you.
First off (like Joe) I can’t stand the lack of character costumes who aren’t Peter. Secondly I think they should add seasonal events like Halloween and Christmas, like tapped out. And my final wish is more character quotes when you tap them.

Been meaning to post a thank you for a while now, and since it’s a RANDOM drawing I can do so without worrying that this sounds like I’m kissing up to win. I check in on this page ALMOST as much as I check in on my game, and while this site is a great resource for help, tips, and tricks, you’ve really made this into a community. What amazes me the most is how graciously and positively you deal with complaining and dumb (I can say this because I submitted one) questions. Keep up the great work!
