Hey there Clammers. Having fun yet? Have you got all your Blam! Prizes yet? Still having a “blast” with the Minion Stewie’s? Well, we thought it would be fun to do something a lil different. GIVE AWAY FREE STUFF!!
Everyone likes Free Stuff. Everyone wants Free Stuff. Do YOU want Free Stuff? Those that know us from our other blog, know we LOVE to spoil our readers with Free Stuff. While I was wandering around the San Diego Comic Con, I decided to snag some swag to bring home for our readers. I was able to get some Limited Edition and numbered posters for the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Comic Con Event. I also got my hands on some fun Character Cards too.
So…now what to do? How exactly should we give them away? Well we are playing a silly lil game full of Random items, Random drops, Random quests…so…why not give away prizes… Randomly? Lol.
HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is comment on THIS post. Give us a random thought on the game, the characters, life in general, the blog, you favorite commentor, etc. Tell us a story. Give us a poem. Just pretty much anything…random. (Keep in mind our same protocols and guidelines will most definitely be in place, so check hate at the door and keep it PG.) Just make sure in the spot on the Comment form you put in your ACTUAL email address, as this is how we will contact winners. Only ONE comment per reader allowed. No duplicates accepted. Anyone abusing the system will immediately be disqualified.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START? END?
The Contest will begin as soon as this post goes live on our blog and will continue until Tuesday September 2nd, 2014 at 11:59PM EST. At that time the comments will be closed.
HOW DO I WIN?
After the close of the contest, all eligible comments will then be put into the Randomizer (http://www.random.org/) and winners will be selected. Winners will then be contacted via email provided and a Legal Address must then be provided to the Addicts within one week of being emailed or they will forfeit any prizes. They will be announced by Friday September 5th, 2014 in a separate post.

A Total of 45 Prizes will be awarded that will include one or more of the following…
Limited Edition Numbered Family Guy Quest For Stuff Comic Con Poster. (Out of 2000.)
Limited Edition 3 Pack Character Cards from Comic Con (One each of Peter, Lois, and Quagmire. Character on front, Info on back same on each.)
ANY ADDITIONAL PRIZES?
In addition, and to add to the Random fun, ONE random reader will be awarded a $10 Gift Card on their choice of platform. (iOS, Google Play, Amazon.) Nothing beats some Free Clams.

-Each contestant may only submit ONE entry! (NO revisions once submitted. If multiple entries are submitted by the same reader only the FIRST entry submitted will be accepted. This means we will not accept multiple comments from the same person. So think hard before you post it.)
-Valid email address must be provided when submitting an entry. This will be how we will contact you to let you know you won. Invalid emails will be withdrawn and not eligible for the contest. (This is the email address you fill out and provided in the comment form, they are not published on the blog and only view-able by the Addicts blog staff. If you already created a Gravatar, just ensure the accurate email address was used for contact.)
-This contest open to EVERYONE. However be aware that our friends outside of the US, 18 and older, you may enter the contest but an alternate prize may be awarded at our discretion if there is an issue shipping the prizes to you.

Random thought… My Wife absolutely hates me playing this game… so when she is asleep, I check for late night updates, and play down the side of my bed so the light does not wake her! I guess you could say I am an addict! 😉

Anyone else think Neil Patrick Harris will be in the event at the lat minute.? We got Felicia Day, Nathan Fillion, and a Captain Hammered costume which are all related to Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog. Just my hopes, even if its purchased with clams.

Love this blog wish i discovered it during the full moon event, anyways i would love to see some of theTubbs family now that Cleveland is back in town maybe some more quests that effect the more minor characters . overall a great app ….oh almost forgot i really want to see the Chicken to become a character

I think I’ve seen every episode of Family Guy that is available on Netflix at least 15 times a piece. I’ve perfected the “Oh no!” In Bruce’s voice and the “No, I stay. I clean” of Consuela. It’s kind of sad but also pretty awesome. I’d like some neat stuff since comic cons like that don’t come to my part of the US very often. Yay family guy!

I am having a tough time balancing Iron Baby and RollerCop. Why won’t they give us a break? So late in the event too….. But otherwise I loved it! That blam disposal box is so useful.

My obsession with FGTQFS all began when my wife showed me this cool little Family Guy game app she had downloaded. Then the sleepless nights began waking every 4 hours at night to collect something here or there, the many repeat visits to the bathroom during work to get my taps in. But the enabler in my addiction is this website and the wickedly evil Bunny, Alissa, and all the others who keep telling me about all the things I need to do to get my fix of FGTQFS’s stuff. My wife now regrets the day she ever showed the app to me. Money I could’ve spent on her has been invested in golden clams to buy fake stuff. And knowing my personality, the game will be in my blood most likely for no more than another 2-3 months before I grow weary of the constant repetitive tasks and I will be cured of my addiction to this game and my wife will have my full attention directed to here along with money being spent on her again. And a trip to London in November will probably be the end of my time in Quahog. But maybe there is hope for me to find a balance. I was a candy crush addict for a few months before letting it go. But now I have gone back, because it helps me pass the time while I wait for my Quahog residents to finish their tasks and give me more stuff. Maybe TinyCo can keep the game fresh and keep me hooked even after my 2 week break from the game while I enjoy getting real stuff in London, stuff for my wife so she won’t be so upset at me if I start to invest more money into golden clams. What I’m trying to say is nothing important, but what I mean to say is Thanks Addicts team!!! Without your help, my addiction to this game would have ended a lot sooner. And if I win anything, it may be just the thing to keep me hooked to the game past November.

I wish there were more celebrities. It’s so fun that everyone used their voice and this is the main reason why I would like to do more Comic-Con than Clash of Clones. Although it’s interesting how they both used nerds, Marge/Lois are both throwing fire, and fun looking castle buildings (1 in family guy and 3 in simpsons). Can’t wait to assemble all my superheroes!!!
