It occurs to me that these types of side-quests are part of Tinyco’s revenue strategy. If people do these side quests they run the risk of not completeing timed quests and may end up spending clams/money to catch up.
Now, I’m not saying Tinyco is being deceptive. It’s more like a time-management puzzle in the game. If you play well you avoid the pitfalls, and complete the timed event. If you play really well you complete it all and get all the cut-scenes as reward.
If you choose poorly you will miss out, but even then clams can fix your mistake!

Have a question with regards to these quests and character tasks. I noticed that some tasks/actions seem to only appear when a certain part of the quest line is reached. My question is, do these tasks/actions remain on your list, or do they disappear after the quest. The reason I am asking is I would like to know if it is necessary to finish these quests. Some part of the quests require the characters to be MIA for quite long periods of time. 12 – 24 hours. For chars like NF & BC, that results to a significant loss in items. Rollocop quest line requires Joe to be unavailable for days. If the only benefit for doing these quests are blam and exp, I am thinking of just skipping them as I would get more blam doing their item tasks for harpoon/bombs/blam. But if finishing quests mean having more permanent tasks for chars, I would finish them as these would have long term benefits.

The only ones you need to worry about are ones that carry the main questlines. Like Enfant Terrible, Bombs Away, Demon Child…these are the ones leading the Phases to the next step, the rest…we do not know what all will go when the Event does…but it is most likely most will just go.

I went to put him on harpoon task and the pizza throw didn’t have the harpoon”icons” anymore.

With so many harpoons needed and all hands on deck, the last thing Cranston needs is a bevy of long tasks.
