Repairing the station takes 4hrs and costs 200 cookies. You cannot repair the station until you’ve trigger the Five Golden Rings questline. (This triggers around Prophets vs Profits Part 4)
Do not repair the Train Station until you’re ready…you will only have 5 Days to unlock Babs. So be sure you’re ready before you do it!

Basically…it’s Comic-Con and Halloween all over again. Break out those mazes because it’s time to bomb some animated characters again!
You’d think TinyCo would get the hint…when this was the LEAST favorite part of Halloween. ANYWAY…
To Bomb the Procrastinators you have to collect Furballs. You then use the furballs to “bomb” as many Procrastinators in 1 shot as you can.
There are two kinds of Procrastinators. Naughty ones and Nice ones. Each one drops different rewards….
Naughty- Drops Cookies, HC & Occasionally Clams
Nice- Drops Wrapping Paper Stockings and Christmas Cookies.
Again…you’ll need Furbals to bomb the Procrastinators. You can earn them through various characters:
Jingle Joe- Rage Shop, 4hrs
Quagmire- Donate Toys, 4hrs
Chris- Shop for Toys, 4hrs
Jasper- Do a Cheer, 4hrs
Cleveland- Browse Figurines, 4hrs

What’s the Spawn Rate for Last Minute Shoppers?
Per Tinyco…The Amount of Last Minute Shoppers in your town will vary depending on your level. Generally, these shoppers will spawn every 2-6hrs for a max of 10-15 in your town at 1 time.

Week 3 Challenge
This Challenge is Trigger by Peter AFTER Part 3 of the main questline is triggered. So if you don’t want to start this task…DO NOT tap Peter after you trigger Part 3 of Profits vs. Prophets.
For this week’s challenge…you’ll have to bomb 100 Procrastinators in 4 days.
And for this week’s prize you’ll receive Mutant Elves.
Again…we suggest the maze method for successfully completing this. More specific details are coming but check out these posts from events past about mazes:
UPDATE BUNNY: As you can see in the image above, the prize for the Challenge was not the correct image. It glitched and showed the Elves Display instead. The actual Challenge prize is what it showed in the Pop Up for the Challenge…the Mutant/Demented Elf. Just the one. And it runs around on the streets of your town as soon as you tap on it to get it out of storage. It is small, like size of Stewie.

The TQFS in game help New conversation is having issues, keeps saying check your network connection. I finally go my message in. Just wanted to warn people, as I had to click retry about 30+ times.
My issue to them is the order of John’s quest as the make presents is before the yeti. yes I accidentally choose that and now it is impossible to kill the yeti … and I refuse to spend clams for this. they really need a cancel action option. And just to be ornery, I put ‘Simpsons have one’.

Another level for the Yeti – I never managed to defeat the Childish one yet. Somehow sleep or work always get in the way… During the previous events, you could at least accumulate weapons as long as you wanted to defeat the monster of the week, but this time you have to be on constantly. Not good for people with a life 😉
And now for something completely different: this morning I got a present from one of my new neighbors, but with all the new content I forgot from whom – sorry, neighbor, if I don’t give you a present back! Scattered a couple at random, but now I’m out…

My top hat yeti has 24 life, a helpful trick is to try leave one or more characters attacking while he’s hibernating, then don’t complete there action until he emerges, knocking off several health at the start of the 24 hour timer.

Hey y’all,
A few questions regarding the mazes (i was on hiatus during comic con and cane back late into the Halloween event, plus just recently learned about this site), and so this might be a long and redundant question, but bear with me:
1) what section exactly so they down from? It looks like the basin Christmas building to me, but I just wanted to verify it wasn’t the train station.
2) if I build a restriction maze starting from the Xmas bldgs, do I still need to do the single sidewalk maze as well? IE do they spawn randomly on sidewalks for this event?
3) if I block the end of my maze, will they just try to backtrack resulting in a never ending back and forth cycle or will they “clip” thru one of my barriers once they have no more possible forward progress?
4) last thought here: wouldn’t it be as productive to simply create a small walkway VERY QUICKLY leading to a closed off 8×8 (just for example) square with a sidewalk in it? I guess this sort of depends if they break out once they have no where left to go…
Maybe my thoughts are kind of running in circles but it seems like an awful lot of work to completely re do the town…

1. BOTH from the Event Area Cobblestone Sidewalk AND on regular sidewalks in town. That’s why many only leave one patch.
2. As long as you funnel them to specific areas, it will help you to pinpoint and MAX your bombing. What you use is up to you, but I noticed they tend to walk through buildings.
3. Do not block the entrance. Without an entrance and exit…they will scatter.
4. If you look at the maze posts I did linked in this very post you are commenting on, you will see I DO have only a small sidewalk patch in the mazes. 😉

Started building my maze with bushes but it seems like they’re just walking through decorations this time but I noticed they seem to walk around the buildings, not through those… wonder if anyone else has seen this… tempted to make a maze out of buildings if thats the case lol

Just make sure it is not too long. Has both an entrance and exit. They gather in groups at edges, so anything you can do to force them all to one area is a good thing.

Basic theory for mazes for me is that you split the town with Decos or buildings at the water end, and the maze at the north end. The split needs to be 5 – 8 tiles deep to discourage passing through.
The maze funnels from the event area to both sides of town. This means any walkers that decide to cross will use the maze.
Most importantly, it can’t be too big. Once it gets past a certain size, the walkers will just ignore it an cross through it or any other object. After construction you watch for a minute and you’ll see if it’s working. If anyone crosses through objects, take a few walls off and watch again. You need to watch for long enough that walkers recalculate their paths.
Some walkers will always leak and walk on the water to the south. But these designs work really well. The idea isn’t to trap them in it, its to force them to walk back and forth while you bomb them.
These designs got me 15 Trick or Treaters 9 times in ten, and are working well for this lot, too.

Without sounding like the wet blanket, I see many complaining about the bombing (yet again I know) though I must point out that with NO maze building (I’m lazy) I’m already about half way through what’s needed …25 procrastinators a day really isn’t that many IMO so thanks tiny co for making it easier this time around 🙂

Agree, last time it was 400 getting 100 a day was nearly impossible without a maze, 3 days 8 hours remaining and I already got 42.

Honestly, I don’t see why some say this new update wants us to spend clams. I did purchase the Swanson house skin to help get Jingle Joe and I purchased John, but I only spent $10 on clams and earned the rest. I have gotten 37 Procratinators with 9 bombs and no clams spent and using people I have to make bombs. Getting 100 is completely doable to me.

I’m just looking for something new. I unlocked all the new land and got every piece I wanted on the map. It felt like this time the map was a decent size so I went for it. The nuke option made it easy to clear my now unnecessary coin farm and I spent a good deal of time putting the town back together one building at a time. Now it’s the same thing as the last events.
Where is the imagination is all I’m saying.

Do what I did:
Leave an area the size of your maze open next to the event area. Use it like a seasonal park and put decorations from the current or just finished event there.
The when the inevitable, totally phoned-in, minion bombing ‘game’ starts, you can rip out your streets and put the maze back in record time without disturbing your town!
However, I have read elsewhere that the tap to stun effect will be restored to the bombing event in the next patch, and if that turns out to be true the need for mazes may be over.

Slightly off topic, after the update I noticed I had a gold box waiting for me which I don’t remember crafting. Not too keen either on opening with clams. Is there a way to get rid of this as I’m assuming if it’s sitting there and I craft the fancy gift box I will not be able to unless I get rid of the gold box first?

If you take a peak at the post below, you will see the area by the Snowman is reserved for the PREMIUM boxes. You didn’t craft it. It is just another option. Most of the items you can just buy for cookies.

As with any Yeti battle, if you fail…he goes back to start aka Viking. No matter where you are. It is just to get rid of Procrastinators. It seems pretty easy to me. Just send characters to get the Fuzbals

help!!!!!! my furball bombs aren’t working. when I try to bomb procrastinators the screen zooms in and shows target but that’s it. also my furball number isn’t decreasing. which is good seeing as how nothing is happening. Anyone else have this problem?

Is puppy Brian a character or a Deco? I’m still a little ticked that the final American dad event character (Klaus) turned out to be only a decoration. He is very mobile in the tv show. Bowl and all.

I don’t know of these are bugs. But I don’t have the “buy limited edition toys” takes for Peter, to get the wreaths. And I purchased a few of the new decorations and they disappeared from the menu. Are some items unique?

Yes, several are unique. In the Gold box too, but once you buy them…it pulls them from the odds of the gold box. As for tasks, how full is your task bar?

I see everyone setting up mazes… But what do you use for the walls? I tried well trimmed bushes but they walk right through it… Any specific objects to use?

You got to make sure it has an entrance and an exit. Not too big. And give it time for the coding to take effect and the character to recognize its there.

Like bunny said, you have to have an exit. if you trap them, they are allowed to cross barriers to get to freedom, but it you give them a way out, they will follow it no matter how many switch backs and zig zags you put in it.

The yeti requires 24 hits for top hat to be beaten. This is getting harder. Even with John on it as well it will be nearly impossible to beat until you have Jesus and jingle joe. Only needs 8 more stockings.

Maze bombing works excellently. I have already taken out 75 with just 6 bombs & have enough wrap to finish the gift box. Another 150-200 more procrastinators should be enough to unlock the puppy. & despite what the FAQ says, the max in town at once is at least 40 for maximum level/land players. Maybe they mean 15-20 of each type. Regardless. Easy, peasy in my opinion.

They are a bit stubborn, but my Mazes are working. Some will walk through, but the majority are kept inside. I have a few different sets around town to “direct” them into a maze no matter where they go.

Same here! I bombed 45 and only have 12 stockings!! I tested it out to see if the nice ones and naughty ones are giving out separate prizes (I bombed them one by one – brown and green) and sure enough, both gave me cookies.

24 hit points for Yeti. Glad I got McClane. There is no way 100% freemium players will get everything without spending some clams which I would argue why start now on this event since it is half over. I get it though, TC is a for profit business and no one should expect to get everything if they are 100% freemium. TC is actually pretty reasonable compared to other like games. I only spend on what I truly like and want which is what Bunny and Alissa have been saying all along. Be patient, pick wisely, relax and enjoy the game based on how you choose. Just don’t expect very challenge to be easy without some premium players sometimes. Just part of it.

I was able to beat the beanie yeti with just Lois and Mort, but it is unlikely to keep it going if one needs sleep. I did waste some clams trying, but at this rate jazz hands Jesus may have to settle for living in my heart instead of roaming my FG land. And I’m a wildly chronic insomniac!

I’ve noticed the mutant elves can be crafted for 75 cookies, yet we need to defeat bombers to get one in the challenge. I hope the ultimate prize is worth it all.

While the bombing is an unwelcome return, at least the challenge is reasonable. I’m going to save up on bombs first as my working days will interfere with getting time to bomb, so this should be a breeze unless the challenge starts early for me by accident.

So in an update, the challenge started when I clicked to finish a different task, boo. Fortunately, the game recognized 7 shoppers already being done, so hopefully I’ll be able to pass the challenge in 4 days. Given it’s 100 in 4 days, I don’t think it will be that bad.

I have an issue with Yeti, idk if it’s been discussed. So I would sometimes have Yeti at 1 or 2 HP then would have 3 characters attacking. So to save time I would just finish him with 1 character then leave the other 2 idle till he returns in 4 hours. This technically works but for some reason after I reset the attacks my game goes back in time I guess and it’s as if though I never attacked and have to redo everything? It’s really annoying because your behind 4 hours because you thought you had the attacks going…>_>

I experienced the same thing, started 3 on attack, closed the game, came back next morning and they were all doing nothing. Not attacking like I set them to. So I lost the streak and it reset.

Sometimes the game doesn’t save if you quit right after sending characters on tasks, I normally see it when my game is getting a bit laggy and buildings are taking a second or two to load. Interestingly it never fails to save when I get a poor reward from the mystery/clam boxes. 🙂

This bombing is old. Probably the one weekly challenge I won’t get because I just don’t feel like doing it. And now baby Brian has to be bought too instead of crafted. Starting to think ill never get Jesus since the yeti takes allllllll day to kill and only produces 500 cookies😒

I liked how TinyCo screwed me (and presumably others) on the yeti. I had defeated childish yeti prior to the update, but when he spawned again, he didn’t upgrade to the top hat. I know there’s a forum for such posts, but here feels right – What the hell?

As it did not exist when you defeated him, I do not see a way the game would know to upgrade until it did exist. Now if you bordered it to complete AFTER Phase 3 hit…it would have recognized the new one and moved up.

What’s the difference between the elves display and the mutant elves (i.e. this week’s challenge prize)? They look the same. Is it a glitch? Also my hospital doesn’t look frosty but it says it’s wearing the skin. Sounds like a couple of glitches… Lol.

I think it is an image issue. Mine shrunk when I put on the “frosty” skin. But it is now covered in snow. Lol

Well, I’ve managed to bomb my “100 shoppers” and managed to only receive 14 Wrapping Paper stockings total. Once I noticed this was occurring I paid VERY close attention to what shoppers I was bombing. These “Nice Shoppers” are NOT consistently dropping wrapping paper stockings. It was my understanding that they should be. Did I misunderstand or does this sound like a glitch?

There is a mix of items they will drop. Some will be MORE likely to drop items then others. I am having Clams spit out now and then too for hitting a large group at a time.

Can you please add a further cookie-purchased item? Namely a PhD character who can fathom out the ridiculous number of permutations for any given task or quest? Do this, don’t do that, do this after that but before something else, this will cost, this won’t, I’m in a daze here.
Sort it out. I’m not stupid but jeeeeeez.

Actually, I’ll go one further. I’ve been patiently awaiting this update for a few days, diligently attacking yetis, stockpiling presents and generally developing my characters.
Now it’s arrived, I’m honestly feeling dispirited. Someone else has written that they’ll put the game down until after this whole xmas thing is done. Indeed so.
It’s as if TinyCo has let fifteen writers loose and not thought about the overall picture from our, the players’ perspective.

One thing to note is that after you get Jesus and have cleared the snowflake gift box there currently is no more need of snowflakes. So defeating the Yeti even with higher levels doesn’t help with anything. I have been programmed to keep at him and then realized there is currently no need. So I can focus on other goals/tasks. And there is no hurry to get Joe to attack the Yeti. Maybe they will be necessary later, but for now the Yeti can be ignored…

Okay so Jesus’ FaceSpace if not unlocked says we need the manger. And I’m assuming him by crafting him at the station we do in fact get the character. …but, if we get the manger from the gold gift box do we then not need to craft him? Do we get him with the decoration? Or is this simply an oversight?

I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but I start the bombing quest and it won’t bomb the shoppers. It will zoom on about to bomb and just stay there. I waited 2 mins and restarted. Tried again and waited 10 mins and still nothing. Ugh

TinyCo needs to bring back the tap stun for bombing the shoppers. It was the only thing that made this bombing business tolerable. *sigh* I think I’m finally running out of steam.

OK, enough is enough. Freemium isnt Free is right, TC only make this game for barely fun (in fact this bombing event is frustrating) to force player to buy clam, and repetition of stupid event gameplay is proof that TC isn’t make a great game, but money-grabber game. I agree with statement that FGTQFS is fun games in the first level, but in the next level we have to buy so many clams to keep the game fun, how greedy they are! I’m done with this game, I just uninstalled it, thank you very much for Bunny & Alissa for keep listening and providing tips for me when I still played

Hey quick question! I spent my clams on the gold box (after buying most of the items with cookies) I only opened it like 4 times got the rest of the items etc. no clams or stockings and then it dissapeared, I can’t tap on it or anything like its done? is this normal? Thanks !

Did you buy all the items from the Menu first? You can, then it makes only a few left to clear it. Saves you on clams. 🙂
