You’ll find Puppy Brian in the Workshop. He’s similar to Jesus, in that you have to craft him. Here’s what you’ll need to get him:

Note: You will have FIVE days to unlock her.
In similar fashion to Jasper you’ll have to “repair” the Train Station (yes again…Jasper must have wrecked it with all his cheering) to find Babs. Repairing the station takes 4hrs and costs 200 cookies. You cannot repair the station until you’ve trigger the Five Golden Rings questline. (This triggers around Prophets vs Profits Part 4)
Do not repair the Train Station until you’re ready…you will only have 5 Days to unlock Babs. So be sure you’re ready before you do it!

Basically…it’s Comic-Con and Halloween all over again. Break out those mazes because it’s time to bomb some animated characters again!
You’d think TinyCo would get the hint…when this was the LEAST favorite part of Halloween. ANYWAY…
To Bomb the Procrastinators you have to collect Furballs. You then use the furballs to “bomb” as many Procrastinators in 1 shot as you can.
There are two kinds of Procrastinators. Naughty ones and Nice ones. Each one drops different rewards….
Naughty- Drops Cookies, HC & Occasionally Clams
Nice- Drops Wrapping Paper Stockings and Christmas Cookies.
Again…you’ll need Furbals to bomb the Procrastinators. You can earn them through various characters:
Jingle Joe- Rage Shop, 4hrs
Quagmire- Donate Toys, 4hrs
Chris- Shop for Toys, 4hrs
Jasper- Do a Cheer, 4hrs
Cleveland- Browse Figurines, 4hrs
And because I know you’ll all ask…
What’s the Spawn Rate for Last Minute Shoppers?
Per Tinyco…The Amount of Last Minute Shoppers in your town will vary depending on your level. Generally, these shoppers will spawn every 2-6hrs for a max of 10-15 in your town at 1 time.

Week 3 Challenge
This Challenge is Trigger by Peter AFTER Part 3 of the main questline is triggered. So if you don’t want to start this task…DO NOT tap Peter after you trigger Part 3 of Profits vs. Prophets.
For this week’s challenge…you’ll have to bomb 100 Procrastinators in 4 days.
And for this week’s prize you’ll receive Mutant Elves.
Again…we suggest the maze method for successfully completing this. More specific details are coming but check out these posts from events past about mazes:
UPDATE BUNNY: As you can see in the image above, the prize for the Challenge was not the correct image. It glitched and showed the Elves Display instead. The actual Challenge prize is what it showed in the Pop Up for the Challenge…the Mutant/Demented Elf. Just the one. And it runs around on the streets of your town as soon as you tap on it to get it out of storage. It is small, like size of Stewie.

The new Gold Gift Box includes two decorations that are animated, Meg’s Pink Luxury Car and Peter’s Tank. There is currently a known bug if you try to store these items, it will cause your game to crash. This currently only affects iOS players and we’re working on a fix!

I cant get the game to update. According to Google Play I have version 1.50 from 12/4. I cant get to any of my friends cities so I am assuming they cant get to mine either…also I am hoping this update will make the shoppers clickable like others have posted…my maze must suck cuz they are avoiding it like the plague…I have uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing…not sure what else to do. My gifts are piling up…maybe they will have an exchange event cuz at this rate I will not get rid of them all.

Game is now not loading on my android device. Its saying I need an upgrade but no upgrade is available.
Luckily I have it installed on my I phone and can still play it.
I had installed the upgrade on my I device which allows me to freeze the shoppers walking around – is this the reason why its now affected my android ?

Does anyone see Christmas tasks for Stewie and Seamus? I received their Wish List items but nothing new for them to do.
On the other hand, I’m pretty happy with the character usage right now. 34 of 44 of my characters are out of storage doing something towards a goal. About a dozen (AD characters and Vinny, Kool-Aid Man and the Comic-Con celebs on an endless 25 level quest) are doing nothing more than trying to level up. The rest are earning cookies, HC, and items. Not too bad.

Ugh. The drop rate on getting the wrapping paper from the nice shoppers seriously sucks. I completed the goal and I have 14 wrapping papers. I even specifically tried to bomb only the nice shoppers. I sent tinyco a message thru my game about it. Hopefully they’ll up the drop rate. As it stands now, it’s absurd. There’s no way I’m gonna be able to get enough to unlock and craft what I have left in the workshop before the event ends. Is anyone else having this problem?

I target the NICE (green) procrastinators and get cookies most of the time. Your post only says they drop stockings. You may need to update this 🙂

I got babs yesterday so she’s out of the way yay, but the timer on Jesus is very intimidating then again I didn’t think I was gonna have mr weed and I got him and almost done the week 3 challenge Comic con and Halloween prepared me well for this. I got 1000 cookies for the mission to wrap a Fancy Gift Box. I think it is because I already had all the gift boxes wrapped when the Quest opened. Does someone also got this?
(I don’t know what the questline’s name was, but in my game it was the one before The “Five Golden Rings” questline.)

Uh huh. The previous boxes caused issues by locking out before that quest triggered, so now it defaults to a Material prize if you unlocked them all before hitting that point. It helps prevent you from coming to a stop by having nothing to clear.

I don’t find the maze to be needed at all. If you value your town’s set up, take out 15 of the procrastinators, then bomb their spawn point when you load in.

I completed the weekly challenge then I went to place my elves and the game glitched now I don’t have the elves. It still says I completed it but no decoration.

I am also getting an error saying that I need to update my game to visit anyone else’s Quahog. Tried closing game and restarting but it didn’t fix the problem. Sent Tiny Co a message in game. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon as I have gifts to give 😕

I play on both ios and android. At last check ios was working fine but all of a sudden my android (galaxy 4) game won’t open at all. Every time I load it, it says I must update the game to continue. But there’s no update available. It sucks because I’m traveling today so I can’t access my ios game.

Im having the same issue as well. Droid and only one device. Mine kept crashing if i visited more than 1 friend. Emailed Tinyco and got a response like 5 days later asking if i still had the same issue, so i responded that i was and still have yet to hear back from them.

I just had the same issue about an hour ago, and only time before was from intentionally delaying to update for the first day of the Miracle Event. Playing on Android 4.1.2. I haven’t made contact yet with TinyCo…wanted to see if anyone else had the problem here first. My game has been really buggy lately but nothing that stops me from enjoying the frenzy.

I’m not sure but I think I may have a couple of glitches.
First of all,when I visit my neighbours,in some of them (curiously only high leveled ones) Consuela pops up saying I need to upgrade my game to visit them only there is no update.
Plus,I just won the weekly challenge(yayyy!) but I thought the prize was sth like a parade of elves as a decoration.instead I get this cute little mutant elf walking around like a character and whenever I tap him it has the button to store him next to his name “mutant elf”.it is darn cute but,is that the prize or a temporary glitch?sure hope not cause I love the little guy!
Finally an observation.I saw Bruce’s outfit on the “event” things to buy but locked.did anybody else see that?

Yes, I did get the 100 done quickly, it is a matter of getting the nice ones for the wrapping stockings. I think getting Jesus was easier than it is to get puppy Brian. It would be nice to be able to tap them like we can with the snowmen, as IOS players can.

Got the new Yeti but unable to defeat him after 12 hoursplaying got 13 hits and with Lois Jon and Mort, I still needed13 more snowflake stockings for Jesus, as was short when new Yeti hit the game, so would need to play next 12 hours and no sleep, so waiting for the timer to reset and should get them before facing the new Yeti, the new total cannot be reached this ratio would need to play 24/7, or play 16 hours with max hits, when I get Jesus hopefully should work as I belive he helps is this correct. Thanks.

I have a quick question, I enjoy these events and it helps keep everything interesting. I started playing during the last week of the Halloween event. I’m just kind of curious if there’s ever really a time where there isn’t an event going on? I have now reached Asian Town and its hard to progress on the original quest with all the events happening. Also, thank you Bunny and Ailssa, this is one amazing blog and has helped me out a lot in these events.

There was a patch for iOS that I believe is messing with Google users trying to visit those iOS users towns. I sent a report in. Suggest you do the same. Message them right from your game if you can.

Wish i had a picture of this to show but…when I defeated Top Hat Yeti, the items I received for beating him popped up and it showed, along with the regular items, that I won 1 green square with a red bow around it. It was so quick I’m not sure what it was…a small shrub with a red bow? A present? I looked in my inventory and nothing that resembles this is in there, no new item in the Christmas area where it shows my stocking count, nothing to be found.
Have you girls or anyone else seen this or commented on this?

Waiting to defeat top hat yeti again to see if it comes up. It only happened the second time I defeated him. Hmm! I see sone comments that we can tap the shoppers now to stun them…..doesn’t seem to work for me and the snowy hospital skin isnt dropping cookies and HC. Other than these couple of points, things seem to be easy going well for now, although I only have Lois and Mort give the yeti a kicking, so I haven’t been able to defeat childish yeti yet – mainly because they only seem to be causing 1 point of damage each time.
still, I’m enjoying it, which is what matters. I would like them to come up with something different though. Fight the big baddie, bomb the annoying things wandering around, wrap (craft) prizes……we only need a Christmas variation of the latchers to be four for four.
I do wish they would stop with the celebrity characters. It’s becoming more like “The quest for everything….except Family Guy”
Anyway, thanks for the blog, makes the game a whole lot more accessible and is entertaining as well.

I think it was pretty lousy if them to remove the “stun” option. It takes skill and luck to corral them and then pull the bomber out, aim and shoot. The minions were the only ones you could stun momentarily by tapping them. And actually, I think they should have left that capability in. This is a tap and collect game. I feel like they removed the stun effect to actually make it more difficult; which is a huge slap in the face. Just MHO.

This event is easy breezy so far. I’ve had a couple slack offs that caused me to use clams to reset the yeti timer and I bought McClane right away. No doubt I’ll have Jesus in two days and Santa right behind. Also, the current weekly task isn’t that hard, guys and gals. I’ve got 47 shoppers downed in day one without a maze or any spent clams. Just keep your 3 furbal makers on it every four hours just like your yeti blasters.

Anything that interlocks and leaves no gaps. Just follow the basics. Room to walk the path. One entrance, one exit…not TOO long or you need multiple entry and exits.

IOS 1.5.5 update in App Store. Updated and I can now stun procrastinators. Yay! Hopefully the update brought a higher drop rate for the wrapping paper. Out of fur balls to check.

You did better than me. I dropped 300 and got nativity scene and then I just got cookies and dolls over and over again. Its a complete rip off. The only reason I kept going was i was hoping to get some clams back. I had over 800 😦 I really wish they didnt put the mystery boxes in the game. I would have happily bought each of the items for 25 clams a piece. Now im out 300 and didnt get the tank.

Ahhh. Well as soon as you do, you can start at least the tasks…then just wait at Part 3/4 so you dont trigger the task til you are ready. It is quite simple with or without mazes.

Yes I got the demo and the first 5 furballs and used them all before I got the challange. And Im already at 97/100 after wasting the free 5 before it started counting very easy to hit 5-7 per shot even with no maze set up or the tap to freeze update that iOS has already.

Question: on Jesus’s facespace, it says you need “manager” to unlock him. So if I were to get this item from the gold present, would it unlock Jesus or do I still need to buy him with the stockings and cookies?

Nope. That was more a “placeholder” for info. You don’t need it to unlock him. 😉

Won the challenge and got the mutant elf. Of course is was at the end of my inventory. After I clicked it, poof, it disappeared. Contacted tiny co. Was wondering if anyone else had this happened?

Ha, Chris is currently holding up three separate questlines (Charity Case, It’s Better To Give, Profits vs. Prophets) because I have him making furbals. I’m regularly counting 30-40 Procrastinators in my Quahog, but that might be something to do with me being on cheer level 8 already.

After defeating the week 3 challenge are we suppose to get something? My game crashed during the quest reward pop-up. I’m still credited for completing it but I don’t see any mutant elves nor anything in my inventory. ??

Nevermind. After a lot of zoomed in searching I finally spotted a single, tiny, solitary mutant elf toolin’ around. sheez

There is just too much to do. There is no way I can achieve much in this event, making it feel futile and like I want to delete the game. I come to games to relax, and feel some satisfaction in ease of completion compared to real life, which is sh*t atm. I hope TinyCo ease up a little bit and not make this a game where you have to buy ingame content to get anywhere.

In my opinion, from the last 2 events the way its set up is, that it is really hard in the beginning, thus making you want to play more or buy clams. Then it gets a bit easier so you have hope, a little harder again, then you complete it and get the satisfaction and warm feelings about the game making you want to play more. Its marketing to keep people interested, but sometimes it does fail.
