I’m no where close to getting jesus I’m about 3000/15000 and 7/100 and for puppy Brian I’m 7/40 and half way to joes costume , any suggestions because I don’t want to miss anything this time I was sad when I didn’t get me weed ,

Why is brain damaged horse so under utilized in this game. I can’t remember one time he was useful, even though they have done a better job at making Consuela, Jake, Rupert, and Buzz useful. I have a dark horse (no pun intended) theory that the reindeer for santa will be a skin for BDH and they will put him on sale that day (like they did with Consuela during Haloween), but I am probably being too hopeful.

Has anyone else lost their Mutant Elf? I unlocked the Week 3 challenge yesterday, so I went in to my inventory and clicked on it but it disappeared completely. It’s no longer in my inventory, and it’s not placed in my Quahog.

Vinny comes with District 9. Kool-Aid Man and King Butt are no longer available as they were with limited-time events. They may come back in the future, but for now there’s currently no way to get them.

The name of the game should be changed to “Family Guy: The Quest for Crashes”. I can’t get rid of shoppers because everytime I try to bomb them, my game crashes. I know lots of things are processing behind the scenes to run the game, but c’mon; I’ve forked over some money to TinyCo and have to deal with this everytime an update occurs? As the saying goes, “A sucker is born every minute”, hence I was birthed!

Later today I will have Jesus and Jingle Joe. After that I will be halfway to Puppy Brian and I got Babs yesterday. So I will have got caught up on characters until the next update! I work full time but check my 4 hour yeti attacks and furball production on my break. So I feel like this was a good event. I did spend some clams but it was minimal. I only bought John and didn’t spend clams on any other characters.

Loving the event! I got Jesus yesterday (loving his Michael Jackson dancing!) got Barbara too and should have jingle Joe and puppy Brian within a day or two 🙂
I see lots of people moaning about this being a claim heavy event but I have earned so many clams just from playing through the event (I earnt 70 clams in just over a day) the only clams in have spent were on John McLane and the Swanson house skin and I am nailing almost everything!
Come on people, cheer up for tis the season of goodwill, Merry Xmas everybody!

I’ve tried pretty hard to get Jesus, keeping Lois, Mort and John busy almost around the clock. I’m quite exhausted now. And basically, I’m fed up with these needless limited-time unlockings like we have with Babs once again, especially in combination with this convoluted and radomized way to collect the unlocking stuff. I’m not even going to really put efforts into getting both Babs and Brian’s puppy costume.

All the characters are a bit stubborn. Some will still walk through the mazes. But I have tried with all the above and they still worked.

It’s a skin for Brian. And he’s very very Tiny. Cute but…requires Brian to use it. So if you can only do 1 I’d go for Jesus…since he’s a whole character on his own.

I finally unlocked Jesus on Friday morning, only need 1 more present from the Fancy Gift Box (holding off just incase there’s a quest to open one), got 10 Wrapping Paper so 33 more and I can get Puppy Bryan and the last Gift Box. I already have all the items needed for Babs so as soon as I get the questline to find her I can get her straight away, and only need 2 more Snow Shovels for Jingle Joe, so all in all it’s been a great weekend.

We have 10 days left of the Xmas event and it’s taking me a long time to get 40 gift wrap stocking from the shoppers. I have the gift wrap building but it takes 6 hrs out of 24hrs and that’s 4 a day which means it’ll take 10 days to get the 40. Can there be a much easier way to get these?

Does anyone know if we have to have Brian already to buy puppy Brian since it is essentially a costume? Or will it just be stored once bought if we haven’t unlocked Brian yet?
I finish out my 8-ish hours of travel tomorrow…I’m glad it’s almost over (and so is my Family Guy game). Looking forward to hanging out with friends and family during this holiday season!

just unlocked Babs which was super easy btw and also won the challenge ALSO super easy in my opinion 🙂 working on that cute super adorable puppy brian and also very close to Jesus! i have 75 snowflake stockings and at least only 3,00 more cookies to go!! 🙂 im COMPLETELY satisfied wit this update. also almost very VERY close on getting Jingle Joe.

Maybe I’m being to kind hearted this close to Christmas but if you defeat the yeti and leave Lois unchecked and throwing snowballs she keeps hitting him smack in his sad sleepy face. I want those snowflake stalkings but I feel bad for the guy.

I’m close to getting Joe, defeating the top hat yeti, and just got my elf. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get puppy Brian and Jesus though. D: I’m at 8k cookies, 1 wrapping paper and 21 snowflakes. I’m gonna be so sad since I really wanted them. I do like this event though. I got John since Die Hard is the best Christmas movie, and he’s kicking yeti butt!

For my wrapping paper gifts, I tried something. When it came time to open them I attempted to pick what I wanted. I would open the prize sub-menu when you click on the readied gift and found available gift I wanted. I then pressed the image of the one I wanted and I received that gift when I opened it. While I am sure it a coincidence, I am going to see if I can do it when I open next level of gifts (I only have puppy Brian left in Santa’s shop).

I don’t know if anyone has noticed this but on facespace there are more future characters to be unlocked but for example Peter has Spanish soap Peter and buff Peter but if you look on his page he has un-named silhouettes. If anyone knows what characters they are please reply. Thank you

I am having so much trouble collecting cookies =( I can get all of the stocking with no problem, (considering I’m defeating the yeti with no trouble, and I already have all of the presents wrapped and opened, so I don’t need to collect the wrapping paper anymore for anything other than puppy brian. I just wish there was a way to get more cookies =(

I’ve come to accept there is no way for me to get Jesus with just under 10 days left. The only way to get him is if you’re a premium player. I’m currently at 13 Snowflakes with just Lois and Mort working over the Yeti. My cookies haven’t gone beyond 7,000 because I have to use what I get to wrap presents. I still have to get Jolly Joe and Puppy Brian, so that’s 2,000 cookies gone from reaching 15,000.
The simple fact is this was a 5-6 week event crammed into 4 weeks. It started too slow the first week and week two was like week three with week two unlockables forcing players to buy McClane to accomplish defeating the Yeti to get enough Snowflakes for Jesus. We should have got both Mort and Joe last week to keep it balanced.
TinyCo has straight out made this a premium player favorable event. You have to use Clams to make even the simpler collecting tasks possible. I know they have to make money, but making a task nigh impossible for freeimum players isn’t the way to go about it.

Once you have Joe, it will make the Yeti easier. That is where most the supplies come from. Give them feedback on your experience.

After I get Joe and Puppy Brian I’ll be down to 2,000 cookies. This means I’ll need roughly 1,500+ cookies a day to get 15,000.
Then there’s the math for Yeti. With just Lois, Joe and Mort if I only get up to defeating Childish Yeti it’ll make 68 Snowflakes with the 4 hour wait between levels and 24 hours for Top Hat plus 4 more hours to reset back to Viking.
The only way I can get Jesus is if I can convert Candy Canes to Snowflakes one for one. Then with the 200+ I have left do 1 Candy Cane for 800 cookies, which is never going to happen.
What TinyCo should have done was use the total cookies collected number to get Jesus and not the current amount. They could have put that number up to 25,000 to get Jesus, which is very doable.

I don’t know if TinyCo made this event strictly for premium players, but I do understand your frustration. I have gotten nowhere near to getting Jesus and even puppy Brian for that matter. The holiday shoppers rarely ever drop the stockings I need which makes everything even more difficult. There are 9 days left for the event and I’m positive I will not earn everything the game offers.

Praise to Tiny Co.: I was upset this morning after I tried to open a free gift from a friend, but instead opened a “gold gift box” that has appeared in the same area after the latest update. I was (too) quick to tap “open” and disappointed to discover I had just wasted 50 clams on a boxful of Christmas cookies. Curses! So I sent a polite message to Tiny Co, letting them know that I was disappointed. Before the day was over, they had responded with a refund of my clams, and a nice note reminding me of the cost of these premium boxes. I replied with thanks, but I also wanted to pass this incident onto others- first, that there are premium gift boxes next to where you receive the free ones. Second, Tiny Co. DOES CARE. They are sooooo much better than EA. I am really glad to have played FG:TQFS from day one, and I will not hesitate to spend my money on clams in the future (I spend about $10 per month.)

I have had issues with my purchases before. Like bought $10 clams. Then lost service or something and had it not load. When I went back in I tried again and it didn’t work again. Later checked and saw that I got charged the $20, and had finally received 275 clams. But not the 2nd group of clams. Told TinyCo that I didn’t mind about the money as I got my clams. And that if I had wanted to spend $20, I would have gotten the extra 50 clam difference. Next day, they put 600 clams in my game! They go the extra mile to keep us happy. And for that I keep playing and spend about $10 a month too.

I have experienced this again and again. Of all of the ‘building’ games I’ve ever played, this is my favorite! I used to be addicted to Webkinz (yeah, I know, I know) and Ganz used to be totally approachable. Now they send pat answers from a bot instead of a real human. I truly hope that Tinyco never forgets who built them. To be able to get real customer service in a digital world should not be the exception. But here we are and the exception is definitely Tinyco. They Rock the Clam!

Killed the fancy box, got Bab’s, one third of the way to puppy Brian, & just one more yeti defeat & I’ll have Jesus. On another note, I’ve waited a long time to sit back & finally watch Troll 2. I guess it’s my hannukah gift to myself but it’s brutal. I thought a cuppla beers might help but no such luck… yet.
Anyway, u girls are awesome and much appreciated. Now if I can only get my cat to stop puking on my bed…

Regarding, Profits vs Prophets Pt 10.
You have two tasks:
Reach cheer level 6
Upgrade decorations to Jolly Christmas Tree
I have completed reach cheer level 6 as I’m maxed out at level 10. So because of this the task has a tick.
Upgrade decorations to Jolly Christmas Tree, I have the Jolly Christmas Tree, however it isn’t ticked and still says Go. So the task isn’t completed. How can I get it ticked and complete?
Is this meant to happen?

They probably just got the tree names wrong? Like the rest of the event, its probably the final mission of the phase questline and it will continue when the next tree arives.

After a week of alarm setting and not much sleep I finally got Jesus today. Also nabbed Babs, Puppy Brian and am only 4 shovels away from Jingle Joe. Needless to say my task bar is a mile long but tonight? It’s deep sleep time.
Lastly wanted to wish you gals a very Merry Christmas. Hope Santa brings you everything you want.

Congrats! I should have him in 24 hrs. I screwed up last night I had 1 bar left on the yetti and the battle was set to end 1/2 hr b4 the timer ran out easy peasy right? Exept my dumb a** fell asleep and woke up 20 min too late and had to spend 48 clams to keep it at top hat yetti so lesson learned if im down that low and feeling tired it is much cheaper to speed up the battle a little bit than to risk falling asleep.
