Hey there Clammers.
LOTS of constant questions on the site that keep repeating, so tucking them all here. So if you want to know the basics (more details coming) here yah go.
IS KING YETI TIMED?
YES! There is confusion as two things are going on in the game. There is the standard Yeti you have to battle within 24hrs that now has a King hat. That has NOT changed. He still has to be defeated in 24hrs.
There is a DECORATION of King Yeti that you can win. To do so…you have to go past Part 3/4 of Reindeer games and have room in your task menu for it to trigger the side Challenge to get the King Yeti Decoration. The Decoration ONLY is not timed. You STILL have to defeat the actual Yeti in the time is states above it all the way up to the one with the King Hat.
The King Yeti Decoration has to be pulled out of Inventory once won and placed into your town. It is small like slightly larger than the size of a Character.
WHERE IS SANTA?
If you completed gathering ALL the items off of Santa’s List (they all were in Present Boxes you wrap in Santa’s Village), you get Santa. Once he is won you MUST go to your Inventory to place him. He comes with an additional decoration of a Gold Box in a wagon. Place it and out he will arrive fully tasked.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE?
If you want to get the Rabid Reindeer and the Bonus Snowmobile decorations, you MUST trigger this weeks WEEKLY CHALLENGE. This will NOT happen until you unlock Angel Bruce. Once he is unlocked and you make room for tasks, you will see Peter trigger the Weekly Challenge task. It is simple, get Santa in 4 days. So if you have Santa already…it will go fast. If not, the event is ending in about 4 days anyway…so…get him before then.
WHERE DID THE REINDEER GO?
The Reindeer won for Santa out of the wrapped Gift Box is an NPC (Non Playable Character/Creature). This means it acts like a normal character and wanders the street, but does not have any tasks to make it playable. So…if you tapped on it to “place” it. Check your roads. Just like the Demented Mental Elf, they roam the streets.
The Rabid Reindeer from the Weekly Challenge is just a decoration. You have to pull it and the snowmobile out of Inventory and place them in your town. Both are animated, but only decorations.
WHAT ABOUT ALL THESE COOKIES?
All I can say is we warned you. Something ALWAYS comes towards the end to help get stuff and every time people panic in the beginning there is NO WAY…then complain in the end…TOO MUCH!! Lol. Well… yah know. 😉
No idea at this point if any last minute thing will arrive. If not, grab some of those limited time decorations and buildings in case you want them later. If not, be HAPPY you have too much instead of not enough. I would much prefer TOO much than a repeat of Kingdom Event. Just sayin.
WHAT ABOUT THE QUESTLINES?
Still not word if anything will continue, so just focus on what ones you want to if you are done with all the main stuff. For everyone else, focus on the Main questline to unlock all the challenges and items.
IS PUPPY BRIAN, ELF PETER, SANTA, JESUS, ANGEL BRUCE TASKED?
Yes to all. All are fully tasked. Puppy, Peter, and Bruce are skins. The other two their own person. ONLY Jesus helps with the Yeti.
IS GENE AND PAUL FROM KISS VOICED?
Yes, both are. However if you are experiencing the sound glitch still going on, you may not hear them right now along with other Characters. You are welcome to contact them on this one. Both are fully tasked. The other two are ONLY in the KISS Stage. There is a task to have them all perform and get 25 Clams from it if you get them all.
WHERE IS DEAD FORMAT RECORDS?
There is a task for Dead Format Records for Gene Simmons of KISS “Win Life an Business”, but to do it you would have had to purchase this building during either Comic Con Event or American Dad Event for 100 Clams. There is currently no other way to get the building as of writing this post.
Hopefully this will help to cover most of the details until the further posts hit the site before the event ends.

I can’t seem to get the yeti decoration. I believe I’ve finished the related quest and I know I have open quest space. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve maxed out everything else other than getting Jesus and king yeti.

I had only 1 hit point left on king yeti, and I ran out of time. It wanted 70 clams to re start from there!

i have Elf Peter, but it only gave me part 1 of his questline. I think it was just for him to sit on Santa’s lap or whatever,at the Quahog Mall. I never gotten any other parts to that quest. I have ALL christmas quests completed except to defeat King Yeti. hmmm?…

You must have unlocked all of the decorations/costume. The event currency boxes usually disappear when all that’s left are Clams and event items to avoid people from getting too many clams.

About KISS, you say there is a task to have them all perform and get 25 Clams from it if you get them all, but when I did this not only did I get the 25 clams, but I also got 100,000 cookies. Did this happen to anyone else? Hopefully they do add something else to buy because I have a crapload of spare cookies lol.

Okay, that sounds better lol. Had so much going on I guess I couldn’t keep track. I just figured the 100k was for the KISS quest since they even stated they were only there for the money 😉 It does seem odd that TinyCo would give us such a large amount of cookies at the end of the event without anything substantial to spend it on though. I wish they would do what they did during Halloween where you could keep spending spirit vials ’till you ran out. I have over 90000 cookies and nothing to spend it on.

Hey so I’m having a problem (I think). I’ve got two presents left, one for stewie and the other for seamus until I get Santa from the wish list. I’ve been making the sleigh bells gift box, but all I keep getting is 1500 christmas cookies, it’s been 4 times in a row now so the last time I opened one I went to see what I had left to get and all it showed was the 1500 christmas cookies, nothing else. Is something wrong with my game? why can’t i get the last 2 presents i need to complete santas wish list? thank you.

Ok I’ve read that but since my game shows no update available in the Google play store I am already playing the latest update…. so basically I am screwed ? I’ve already emailed tinyCo directly but I won’t hold my breath. Real money invested into this event and now I can’t log in to complete it. Not happy.

My hubby plays 2-3 times a day (not religiously like me), wants Jesus so bad but nowhere close & has no clams…all he wants is Jesus…. Really hope there’s a way he can. He doesn’t have his game on our iPad so I can help & those blue stockings are what are brutal to get! (He has no chance on Yeti or misses the timing etc). Just hoping there will be a way for him to still get Jesus (ie, trading)! Otherwise, I love this event & (myself) got all I wanted, including Jesus!

I completed Santa’s list. One of my gifts disappeared. The hamster that is in the ball. It’s not where I put it and not in my inventory. Any idea where I can find it?

It shrunk…and is animated. Look around the same area you left it…just for something a LOT smaller…and rolling around in place.

Its best to be in Quahog edit mode to find him, because it shows itself in giant mode.

It is probably too late but it would be nice of TinyCo to allow us to spend our remaining cookies/stockings on any of the decos/buildings that were being used as secret Santa gifts. Those seem to be the only items where your getting it is all based on chance as opposed to “purchasing” (buying gift boxes). If you didn’t have a friend gifting you and you didn’t get a certain item from Ollie, you had no “control” over getting certain things. Ollie isn’t giving out any more gifts and I choose not to use FB so I lost out on that aspect of the event. I would like the fort since elf Peter has a task for it plus some of the decos look nice. I try to collect any building that is attached to a character task. I feel as though I really didn’t have an option to get it, just a chance.

I’m having trouble with getting Quagmire’s Bondage Rack! (Santa’s Wish List) It’s telling me I have already collected everything in the Fancy Giftbox. It’s been like this for days and will probably cause me not to get Santa 😦 Any idea of what’s wrong?

How do I get Santa? I have completed the checklist he has and then his sled and him dissapeared and now I’m on the quest for the rabbis reindeer and it won’t let me get Santa. Anybody know the reason why or any ways to help me out with this.

Make sure you are looking in your Inventory Storage. Right at the beginning. And not the menu shopping cart.
If you have all the items in his list check marked off, there is no icon in the task menu bar for his list, you got the pop up you won him, he will be in the front of the inventory.

Is it even possible to win all the yeti battles with just three characters? I want to get Jesus before the event ends. I’ve been forced to start putting alarms on my phone and waking up throughout the night to try and beat the third yeti.

I beat the king yeti with just Joe, mort and Lois I had play religiously every 4 hours day and night and had to spend 70 clams at the end to “continue where I left off” but then it was easy and now I have jesus 🙂

I dont know if anybody has said anything about this but since the update i cant unlock characters i unlock them and click the gold lock and it crashes what could i do?

We did report this and they were looking into it just before the Holiday Break. Players had issue with Babs. Who do you have an issue with? Did you message them about it through your game?

ya, for whatever reason I couldnt purchase the KISS characters. I’d tap the button to purchase each of them. the sound would play but nothing after.
It doesnt bother me much though. I still managed to get King Yeti and clear enough raindeer for the rabid raindeer

Play the questlines through. They pop up along the way. Also, check your characters tasks and see if they are leveled up enough.

I’m resigned to use clams to get the King Yeti, which will also get me Jesus. I figure with the free clams I’ve gotten during the Christmas event and those I’ll get from Jesus it’ll be worth it. But I’m not sure which is the better strategy, to speed up Lois, Mort, &/or Joe or to pay for another 24 hours after the Yeti’s gone into hibernation. Do you know how much it costs to get another 24 hours for the King Yeti?

It varies. We have no idea as it depends on where YOU were when it went into the hibernation. All you can do is what and tap on it to see the option provided.

I built to king yeti and mapped out a strategy to have eight kill segments during the 24 hour clock by fast-forwarding with clams. All was going great. Until the last segment. Spent 45 clams to that point and needed six kills. Fast forwarded three clams each with 5:00 left and got single kills by all three to put me at 54 clams. Then, I had to 16-clam rush all three characters again to get the final three kills. I was hoping to get it at 54 clams but my last five segments were four four-kill times and the three-kill one to end. Ended up costing me 102 clams but at that point I was “pot-committed”. Still better than spending 200 on John or Gene but had I known from the beginning that the only way to get Jesus was with clams I would have plunked down the 200 on John from day one and used him the entire event. Not happy that that wasn’t made known upfront or that one of the final three characters/skins in phase four didn’t help defeat the yeti. I assumed and you know what happens when you assume ………..

Just to clarify (before I spend the clams), if you fail to defeat King Yeti in 24 hours, you can spend clams to make him come back as King Yeti with his health WHERE YOU LEFT OFF, right?
So if in the first 24 hour span you get King Yeti’s health from 35 down to 15, if you choose to spend the clams, he will come back with 15 health, right? Not 35?
And does anyone know exactly how many clams you need to spend to do this?

As long as you do it as soon as he goes to hibernation…if you wait too long…he goes to reset and back to Viking. How YOU played to defeat him will determine the Clam amount, so no one has a way of knowing that amount. Not til you tap him. Could be 20, could be 200.

I never found a walkthrough for the “All About the Bass” quest. How many phases does it have? Is the concert at the end of this quest?

I giggle everyone is so focused on those numbers. The numbers will show UPCOMING Characters coming to the game or ones PENDING. It all depends. Did you get the pop up for the new District 10? See a lil guy at Pawtucket Brewery? 😉

Gotta follow the questlines. Make sure you keep room in your task menu bar. Clear as many as possibly to leave room for more to pop up.

You have to purchase both characters and the Stage for it to trigger. It varied on both games as to when it popped up. Peter is the one that triggered it.

I have both Gene and Paul along with the stage. Both of them are now completely free of tasks as is Peter. I only have three open tasks. Jesus is working on a cake and John Mclane is doing rolly chair and the other is the “buy more clams!!!” thing.
Could John or Jesus possibly be holding up Gene and Paul somehow?

I have completed all quests, but never saw the concert one. I have no quests in queue, I have both KISS characters and the KISS stage. They each have a “play benefit concert” task, one is 18 the other 20 hrs. I hope I get the pop up! Was it part of their quests or a separate one? What tasks were required for it; the benefit concert one, rock out or a new one that tge quest triggers? Thanks!

Currently the only quest open is Johns “Happy Trails: Pt 8”. I’ve even had both Gene and Paul “play a benefit concert” and it sent them to the Tiny Tots preschool.
Thinking about it, do they need to each reach a certain level? It’d be cool if it was a permanent task you could send them both on. I’d have constant concerts. 😀

I’m just scared I won’t be able to get enough snow flakes in time for jesus. I have one premium character (kiss) to help so I have 4/5 but I’m not sure it’s mathematics possible for me to kill king yeti which I will need in order to get Jesus in time . Kind of makes the kiss character a waste of money

I don’t think I’ll get Jesus unless they let you exchange cookies or other stockings for snowflakes. Another mystery box that would keep letting you get snowflakes rather than just getting them once then disappearing would be good. I have loads of cookies and non snowflake stockings but the only thing I need is snowflakes. So frustrating.

I’m in the same situation as both of you.. really want jesus and have a shortage of snowflake stockings and an abundance of every other stocking. I have lois, mort, joe and gene (only bought him for the purpose of getting jesus, with free in-game clams I had accumulated) all attacking the yeti and I’ve had some success so far.. I will be able to defeat the top hat yeti later today with no problem, but I’m not sure if I will be able to defeat king yeti without using additional clams.
Another giftbox would be super helpful for people who need more snowflake stockings in a short amount of time (and for everybody who has unlocked santa and now has 100,000+ cookies). However, bunny and alissa made a post on tips to defeat the yeti, which has been really helpful. I won’t be able to explain it as well as they did, so find the post and make sure that you make use of its 4hr ‘hibernation time’ by having some characters attack the yeti during that period.

Don’t tap them all at once. Just one at a time and reset their attack as soon as you clear it if he isn’t defeated. Stagger them too. This will give you a head start.

This task that you can get Kiss to do to earth 25 clams… Is that just part of the Gene/Paul quest line, or is there a task that you can get them to do at any time, even after the event has finished? I think I remember earning 25 clams as part of Gene’s quest, I forget which one now, but just wanted to clarify whether it’s something that can be done more than once. If so, which task is it?

I think what we are all trying to say is that we have started the Kiss questlines, but they stopped before we got the play for 25 clams one. We have both characters and the stage and only 2 or 3 separate tasks open.

Thanks for this post. I was wondering, what to do with my cookies, as I own everything cool from this event (everything except decorations – useless space-killer if you ask me :p). I hope there is some last minute action to spend them (same for the stockings). If not I’ll just start to eat them… uhm, the cookies, not the stockings. 😀

I managed to get Santa and was hoping to gets lots of snowflakes from the polka dot box. However, like the other boxes, once the main prizes have gone, the box disappears. Looks like I’ll have to to stay awake to defeat the yeti.

At some point during this event, upon entering the game I got a popup about Bitch Stewie, I think like the popup from that event. Since then, he’ seen standing next to the clone machine doing nothing and not tappable.
My guess is it’s a bug that he resurfaced, but who knows?

You have to go to the Yeti when the timer runs out and he is in hibernation, at that point tap on him and it will give the option of Clam buyout to continue where you left off for another 24hrs. Clam cost will vary on time left, HP left, etc.
