Hello There Clammers!
Looks like TinyCo was back in the office today…and saw many of your complaints about characters used to help get items to unlock Jillian and her apartment. And they’ve added a whole bunch of new tasks for different characters to help you unlock Jillian faster!
So if you’re stuck with the same old characters doing the tasks (especially ones needed to complete the main questline)…now a bunch of Christmas Characters can earn the items as well!
Here’s a complete breakdown of who can earn what (new characters and old) in your quest to bring Jillian to Quahog…
Oh and we answer some common questions we’re seeing about the end date, mystery box and more below…
To unlock Jillian:
15 White Eggs (Uncommon)- Get From: Make Peter Dance the Shipoopi OR Make Joe Visit the Gun Range OR Get From James Woods High OR Get from Anal Point OR Make Jake Tucker Be Normal
NEW Added Today: Make Japer teach Aerobics OR Make Gene Play KISS Pinball
Note: BOTH are characters from Christmas that are NLA. So if you don’t have them you can’t take advantage of these new tasks.
20 Champagne Glasses (Rare)- Get From: Make Bruce be a Good Listener OR Get from the Founding Father OR Get From Quahog Mini-Mart OR Get from Used Clothing Store OR Get from Little Puff o’ Stuff OR Get from Average Puff o’ Stuff (always drops)
NEW Added Today: Make Barbara Try on Jewelry OR Make Puppy Brian Play Ball.

Remember….in order to get Jillian you’ll need to unlock her apartment. In order to unlock her apartment you’ll need to collect the above items and then go to the Rite of Passage Tower.
From there you’ll see the popup of what you’ve collected vs what you still need:
Also…I know many of you are asking when the event ends. Well per TinyCo..they currently don’t have a set end date. Once we know we’ll pass it along to you guys. However, I can tell you you will have longer than just this weekend to complete everything. So take your time and don’t rush with clams! 🙂
Oh and another common question we’re seeing in the comments. If you get all the items (Hat, Glasses, Champagne & Noise Maker) BEFORE doing the Mystery Box do they disappear from the box…thus making the odds of you getting clams greater?
Well…I did just that. I completely unlocked Jillian and got everything I needed THEN tackled my Mystery Box. And sadly…I STILL got Hats..despite having absolutely no use for them. So unless TinyCo changes it between now and the end of the event…use your cookies now. Don’t save it in hopes for better box odds.
Also…USE YOUR COOKIES! There’s no other use for them at this point BUT the box. So use them in the box & don’t save them for anything else. (and no…there’s no other way to get cookies at this point)

I did the event and did all the tasks to unlock Jillian but every time I click on the I on so I can unlock her apartment it would never take me to her apartment to buy it and still won’t. So I have a character standing around that I can’t use! Very frustrating. How do I get her apartment so I can actually use her?? Thank you.

Do you have the Rite of Passage in your town? If so, did you complete collecting for it and drop the balls to release the apartment?

I accidentally sent my rite of passage tower to my inventory. I had already finished the quest. I replaced it and the quests came up again, so I got all the items again and received 10 clams! I just sent it to inventory again and the items to collect appeared again.

I started this event late and felt like I had to play catch up so about halfway through unlocking Jillian I decided to pay to unlock her. I assumed when I paid clams to unlock her I unlocked her apartment too. After buying her I realized I still needed to unlock the rite of passage tower so I did. I collected all those things, I thought unlocking the rite of passage tower was the way to unlock Jillian’s apartment. So now I have this taks where Jillian has to paint eggs and it’s not allowing me to do it because it’s saying “jillian’s apartment needed” how do I unlock her apartment?

I bought Jillian and am working toward completing all of the items to get her… But my rite of passage tower is locked. I can’t buy it. What can I do to unlock it?

Two requirements for the Event…Your Game Play needs to be on Level 10 and you need to have completed unlocking District 3. Where are you at?

Ah… Level 9. But I have district 3. Hopefully I reach 10 before they end the event. Am I at risk of not being able to achieve the rite of passage? I would have bought Jillian and not be able to unlock her

You can have Jillian…just not her apartment that comes with the Rite of Passage. So try to get to 10 as soon as you can.

I don’t get why I have Jillian and not her apartment, and I can’t get her apartment anywhere. Dropped the ball, but all I got was ten clams.

Check your inventory. Check the entire thing as sometimes it’s placed at the end or randomly in the middle
