It looks like TinyCo increased the number of characters that can do tasks to get stuff for Jillian and the Rite of Passage tower. For example, for getting eggs, now there is a task for Paul Stanley and one for Jasper., and many other items have additional ways to get items.
I like that they have done this, because some of the tasks were 20 hours long and it would have taken at least 3 days even with 100% drop rates. On the other hand, I had sent many of the characters they just added on long term tasks just to get them out of the way.
Still no tasks for Stewie. I understand that not everyone may have him, but there are tasks for Gene, Paul, and Jake Tucker, and not everyone may have them either.

TinyCo FAQ doesn’t answer this question, but I sent them a message asking how long the event lasts. Wil report back if I get a response.

They haven’t set a firm end date yet. Probably won’t have it until next week. But i can tell you it’ll last longer than this weekend 🙂

I keep getting an error message that says it can’t configure the game. It’s been going on since this morning. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it. Since I can’t get into the game can I even submit a ticket?

I had this once.
You should free more space on your device. I mean, if you use internal storage, try moving it to SD card. And if you are on SD Card, remove thumbnails, cache data from another apps that are on SD card and things like that.
Figured it out alone, but was a pain to discover, since the error message is not that intuitive.

finally a quest that uses that useless jake tucker. he is so useless, so useless, that he has any action with his father Tom.
I see people complaining about more stuff to get. Unless you have a lot of stuff to do in game, when you max out everything, it’s a pain to give all your characters 1d tasks, because you have nothing to do. So, I like those big quest lines.
I just want to continue the blimp saga. Stewie has been pretty useless those days.

How is Brian not helping at all to get Jillian “his girlfriend”? That is just wrong story wise.

But it is still inconsistent how Brian can’t help Jillian in any way, I mean, he got lessons from Quagmire to get her back.
Also, Peter could also help, since both Jillian and him share interests.

He does now, the option “Make Brian Play Ball” can get champagne glasses, amongst the other tasks I saw that they just added today (after I sent everyone who didn’t have a task on 20-24 hour jobs to clear them from the list), like Barbara, Jasper, Santa, Gene, Paul, John…..

There is an ongoing sound glitch they are still working on. Impacts mainly iOS. Hang in there.

I just wish that Mr Weed was voiced. I can’t believe that Carlos Alazraqui won’t contribute to the game, nor can they pull any sound bytes from the show itself.
Human Rupert was voiced by David Boat in a few scenes, I’m surprised he isn’t voiced.
Santa also should have been voiced by either Seth McFarlane, or by Bruce McGill, who voiced him in “Road to the North Pole”.

Mr. Weed not being voiced was kind of a surprise for me. I cannot believe that either Carlos Alazraqui would not provide additional lines, or that they were unable to use any sound bytes from the show. He had some great memorable phrases.

I had over 200 clams before the new year event started. Now it has reset to zero. I paid for some of those clams….!!! Where are my clams?!

I had something similar happen to may clams about two weeks ago. I’m playing on iOS, but I sen TinyCo a ticket and they responded immediately. They requested an screen shot of the purchase. They sent a link with directions on how to view the purchase in my App Store history and take the screen shot in case you don’t know how. I had paid the $9.99 fo 275 clams. But got charged 2x and only received 275. Didn’t get the second clams purchase that I was charged. I said I didn’t mind paying the second charge of they just sent me the adt’l clams. Cuz if I had wanted that many I would have paid $19.99 and got the extra 50 and had 600, ya know? So the next day when I logged in, they didn’t just give me the 275 I was missing, they gave me the full 600! That being said, TinyCo WILL fix the issue. They are super super good at making sure they fix our issues. Especially when u pay for stuff.

I enjoyed the last one… Yeah I’m weird. 😝 wait… That last questionnaire was in Quahog not Springfield right? Oh gawd I’m sooo confused. I swear at one point I was trying to figure out where I put Rabid Rudolf in Springfield. Please tell me the NY quest is not timed and I can take a deep breath….😶

As we do not know an end date…that is REALLY hard to judge on. I am always one for saving my clams and getting all I can for no cost.

I noticed with the christmas/snow skin on morts pharmacy I wasn’t able to get bunny ears, I’ve took the skin off, just thought I’d mention in case anyone else still has it on

Correct. Founding Father too. ANY building with Material payout needs to be set back to its original skin.

Seems that if the pharmacy has its skin, it will not drop the bunny ears. Heads up for the future. Also, completely agree on the transforming stockings and the toys to cookies.

I was lucky enough to get everything in the X-mas cookie box (Santa, Snowman, Reindeer) but I also have over 100k cookies, Did everyone get everything?

Im happy with this one actually. Good break from the non-stop timed events we’ve played over the last few months. If there was anything to moan about, it would be how long its taking to get into the 10th district and that lovely extra land… so much stuff in storage… 🙂

Just a quick tip to everyone that still need to spend their cookies.
You can get more change on clams and the NPCs if you get all the collectables.
So get all items for the countdown. This way you have more change to get some clams.
I have 6 changes to get 3 NPCs and clams. I had 8 but spent 20000 on the box.
Another thing get some banks for the noisemaker.

I seem to be earning stuff already even though I haven’t built Jillian’s house thing yet! Also if I buy boxes with my christmas cookies I can win the items for that… Am I going to get to keep those or am I wasting my time? I don’t want to spend all of my cookies and then not even have the prizes!

Question for anyone: I’m still waiting for Jillian’s Easter Egg booth to finish building, but in the mean time I’ve collected a couple of champagne glasses, and cashed in my unused cookies for the mystery box. Will the items I collect prior to completing construction still count towards unlocking Jillian?

If Tinyco wanted to run a NYE event, then the Xmas event should have ended sooner.
Jillian seems ok, but the long quests for stuff is a bit annoying.
Absolutely hate the 10,000 cookie mystery box prizes. If that many were needed for one box then I wish I was able to convert the hundreds of unused stockings into cookies. I probably had over 500 stockings left over.

I love the nye event I just wonder if maybe they are going to do s Super Bowl mini event I mean we know Valentine’s Day and Easter are almost certain, but a Super Bowl and possibly a Mardi Gras event would be awesome….. Hint….hint for the tiny co developers that hopefully follow this site.

Getting ‘can’t connect to server’ issues. Can’t get in and my android still isn’t compatible. Is this true of other people or just me? Don’t want to miss out on ANOTHER character (no Jesus for me) because of these issues. Fortunately I was able to send all the characters on tasks to get stuff for jillian before it stopped working so whenever I get back in ill have stuff waiting.

I like Jillian being added. Christmas was very cool with lots of clobber but intensive so I’m liking being able to slow down and acquire things at my own pace.

Glad most builds don’t cost too much clams, bit disappointed that the fireworks deco is the same as the ones from the 4th of July event last year, only with a different color scheme. I love jillian as an character in the series, those comments she makes and questions she asks make me laugh. Jillian: ” how do I know if I’m Jewish?” Brian:”are you Jewish?” Jillian :”no” Brian:”well, there you go”

I tried it to. It told me server not found. So I looked up the domain registration and its owned by FOX. Sad they put the domain in the game without doing anything with it.

IIRC, the site was briefly active after the commercial for fingernails4cash was shown on an episode of FG. Also, this is where the fingernail fort comes from.

Any word on the timeline for this? There is a ton of stuff to get for one character 30 champagne glasses and three super rare bunny ears? The hats take 20 hours each to earn. Do we have just the weekend or more time?

I tried force closing, clearing data/cache, restarting device, uninstalling and reinstalling app, And I emailed them last night, but haven’t heard back.
I’m at a state park for the weekend and don’t get a cell signal, but that shouldn’t matter if I’m on a wifi network, right?

It shouldn’t…as long as your wifi singal is strong. Sometimes the signal is weak and that screws it up….
